I love fruirts and vege but my family love all the unhealthy food. Sometimes i have no choice but to eat the unhealthy food. But i eat less of them. I drinke fresh juices more. It make me feel good..

Steak also meat in general is acidic and bad for the body when you intake high amounts of meat . I would stay away from red meat . The meat here in the US is process with machines added sodium and other ingredients you cannot pronounce with FDA approval . You wonder why our country has highest rates for cancer , heart disease and other diseases . Make the choice of having you weekly meals 90% veggie and fruit remaining 10% unprocessed meat .

+yr It probably is junk food as it is mostly fried in oil, blocks arteries, raises cholesterol, blocks the colon because of the zero fibre in it, gives rise to bacterial growth within the colon once it starts to putrify, etc, etc....We have been taught that meat is essential to health but there is NOTHING in a steak (or any meat) that is actually needed by the body to survive and be healthy, as everything in a steak can be found in other non-animal products in a much higher quality. Also anything that NEEDS to be heavily seasoned, spiced or marinated to be good to eat, is usually a comfort food. Just saying as I do enjoy a steak every once in a while.

I hear so many conflicting statements about watermelon juice being either good of bad for your kidneys.  It makes it hard to decide what to believe. When you said it is a source of alkaline water, I knew it was good for the kidneys. Thank you for the vid.

The only way that it would be "bad" for your kidneys is if you already have kidney failure and are on dialysis, due to too much fluid in your blood. But, that's not really affecting your kidneys either...

Hi Dr Willie, Are water melons grown in Malaysia safe to eat? I hear farmers use soil pesticide or insecticide for the plants to absorb into the system which may go to the fruits too.Is this correct? Would appreciate your reply.

+Yee Ah Beng Hi Yee, I am not sure about your watermelons. But it would be best to ask Malaysia's Department of Agriculture, if they say that the watermelons are safe to eat. Take care. I feel that they are safe.

Thank you, Dr. Ong!  Very informative!  Years ago, I went on a ten day watermelon fast.  The 9th and 10th day were amazing.  I never felt so good in my life.  You have motivated me to go to the produce market and buy a watermelon.  Is it important for the watermelon to be organic?

when i was young always craving for water melon. when i got may age 50 yrs old some peoples says that water melon is not good when you have HB coz its worsten your high blood presure. since then i'll stop eating water melon.Happy to know that water melon nothin to do with my high blood pressure thanks for the info Dr.Willie
