In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. Dr. Axe my original question was, why does the left side of the body become ill more than the right side. Let me explain we women over 60 all have pains and eggs circulatory problems sleeping feet and limbs majority on the left side.. I'm not I was wondering is there something to that.

Loads of radiation in the air especially wifi nonstop. Look at electricity cables near trees. It looks like the trees are chewed up by giants. Radiation eats up your body minerals as it does to plants and the rest of all living creatures. People look like squared eyed zombies all over the world nowdays. I moved to an Island with 365 days a year summer temperature. Im outside at least 8 hours a day. I eat loads of local fresh fruit, vegetables and beans every single day. Once a week I will eat steak(I'm not a vegetarian). Still got vitamine D deficiency. I'm telling you, its the darn radiation from wifi and all the electronic bulls.t we carry around.

I have vitamin D deficiency... I got diagnosed from a blood test and I have to take tablets twice a day until I’m 18 (I’m 11) my mum shouts at me when I don’t take them 😂

Just started taking a vitamin D supplement due to very low vitamin D level, I also have Very low Ferritin, elevated HS CRP >15 and my estrogen is elevated at 266. I have been extremely tired, very solemn and depressed. I have been on a Keto diet on and off for approximately 2 years and try to get my fats and veggies in but Im thinking maybe Im not getting enough Iron through protein. I just started seeing a functional medicine doctor who put me on vit d, iron, and an adrenal complex. Im hoping to see change but I am afraid that the doc is just into making money off his supplements so well see. Never thought I could have a vit D deficiency living in Florida, lol, I was surprised! Highest food sources of D are mackeral- 1000 IU per 100g, sockeye salmon 700iu per 100g, salmon 600 iu per 100g. RDA is 400 IU. Skin make 10,000 IU a day when whole body exposed to sun for the day. Pig lard - free range 10,000 IU per 100g. They sell pig lard near the butter at the super markets it would have less than free range but still good. Nutritiondata can be used to look up vitamin d foods.

just got my blood tested. everything was good but im low in vitamin D. definitely have low energy, mood swings, cant get stronger in the gym etc.. im so excited to start taking my vitamin d and feel the difference.

Here's something interesting for you. I live in the Mediterranean and out in the sun all the time, and yet, my Vitamin D levels are 17 ... transpires that Vitamin D is not absorbed if the magnesium levels are low.

Can i take coral calcium with magnesium and vitamin D3 ? I want to fortify my teeth and my bones. I was tested and have very low vitamin D and so was my mom. I cannot go outside for long because i am sentitive to the sun i get sun burned easily it is called European Skin. That is what i remember the doctor talking to my parents about when i was a kid.

Great thing about getting vitamin D by the sun, is that it's free. I need to get some sun my vitamin D level is so low my doctor actually told me I could die. He said, it's bad for the heart cause you loss calcium. I'm doing what I can to greet healthier.

So glad I watched your video. I was just diagnosed with D deficiency. I am was just prescribed 50,000 UI of Vitamin D3 once a week. With follow up with primary care physician in two months. The interesting part of your video was taking the fat soluble vitamin with coconut oil for better absorption. Which had not been stated in any of the videos I have watched. I have never used coconut oil. Yesterday I went searching for solutions to treat my dog's dermititis. I keep coming across organic coconut oil. I went out and bought coconut oil. Now that I watched your video. I don't think buying coconut oil was a accident. Apparently I need it just as much as my dog does. Thanks for the video.

I was told by my test results that I'm vitamin D deficiency. My doctor said I need more sun & to supplement. Does tanning in a salon count as getting sun?? Even if its occasionally tanning not a weekly thing. Because I'm outside a lot but I can't seem to get any darker or anything. I am still very very pale much of the time

i have a vitamin d deficiency and have to take 50,000 once a week i been outside alot nothing didnt work until i took the pills. they took me off it once and i pass out why driving and they put me back on vitamin d again and i been good and my doctor say i have to take it for the rest of my life my number was 17 vitamin d even those i been in the sun before the pill

Since I was a young man in the work force, I either worked indoors (office) or at night (swing and graveyard shifts). I began having endocrine issues at around 50 years of age, for which my PCP referred me to an endocrinologist. This specialist found, among other problems, that I had a GROSS vitamin D deficiency ! She prescribed D3 at 2,000IU twice a day. Even at this dosage, it took me 5 months to get my levels normal ! Take your supplements folks ! We live in a toxic environment.

I went through surgical menopause in late 20's, I also in late 30's contracted Lyme disease which manifested into Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, chronic fatigue, and pain. I had a great doctor at that time that had me on regiment of 50,000 units of vitamin D per week. One capsule every week. I now have a doctor saying, "Well, I really don't know that much about vitamin D ". It's ridiculous, I can get it SO much more affordable through my insurance and take SO many less "pills" than if I purchase OTC. It helped so very much with fatigue, depression, bone loss, musculature etc.

Dear black people😑 just go out in the sun to produce vitamin D your carbon(this so called melanin) will do this process. Dear white people eat food that contains plenty vitamin D simple because you don't have enough carbon (this so called melanin) to produce the amount of vitamin D needed. when you tan it destroys your skin cells don't be fool by the color and say it's tan skin the sunlight damages skin cells and causes mutation in the cells which obviously Leeds to cancer😑. Yeah, my Nurse Practitioner found out my VitaminD levels are terrible. They used to be decent when I worked at Home Depot because I would find an excuse to go outside, but now since I am once again working somewhere that has me inside during all hours of daylight... I never get any sun so I have to take 10,000 IU Daily because my results came out to like a 2 or a 3 for the results for Vitamin D. My lower back had started randomly being in pain when I would walk and when she seen those results she asked me if I was feeling that along with a few other things. It is crazy how something as simple as not seeing the sun can kill you.

With vitamin D deficiency I ended up with my calf muscles torn to pieces and on crutches for weeks on end. In children it causes bone malformation. I am a male with congenital male hypogonadism. I was born with bones missing, and have most of my teeth missing, because of my Chromosome disorder. I am on testosterone therapy now and taking lots of sunlight and vitamin D, eat fish regularly and watch my weight.

At 1:08 you say "Hormone imbalance, major cause of Vitamin D deficiency." Do you mean that imbalanced hormones can CAUSE Vit D deficiency? I think you are reversing the cause and effect. I believe you meant to say "Hormone imbalances can be caused by Vitamin D deficiency." I think you should more carefully edit and recheck your script and video before putting it online. These are important health matters and your advice can alter peoples' lives and health. I see that 1.1 million people have subscribed to your videos so I am relatively unimportant as just a single commenter. I am just leaving this comment so that viewers will be aware that there may be mistakes or mixed up causes and effects. I know it's difficult to dictate and video-record a statement perfectly because I used to produce training videos myself. But we would carefully review videos word for word, and correct them if there were any mistakes.

You failed to mention how critical it is to take vitamin k2 (mk7) while supplementing d3. They work synergistically and k2 helps get the calcium out of the arteries and into the bones and teeth.

I have MCD and very very low Vit.D checked by my blood. My Dr. has me on 50,000 IU prescription per week. It is amazing what it is doing for me. My skin is better, my teeth are better, my bones are better, but mostly I think it is helping my autoimmune.symptoms. I recommend to everyone that for anyone with autoimmune disease, and you live in the Northwest U.S, (aka: not enough sun almost year round) get your blood checked and then ask your Dr. for prescription. You MUST be monitored bc it can be toxic. Dr. checks my blood every 3 months. Over the counter is NOT enough for this disease. You need a huge amount by prescription only.
