What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. During the winter (September-April) the sun's UVB rays don't reach beyond the 37° latitude north. You need a tanning bed. You should not shower for at least 24 hrs after using it.

I got my blood tested last week. My vitamin D was severely deficient. I’ve had chronic pain, fatigue, weakened immune system, and much more for over a year, and i’m only 17. It’s made it so i can barely function. I’m on 50,000 IUs of vitamin D daily (didn’t type that wrong) and maybe i can finally get better.

Warning!! If you D supplement without extra vitamin K2 and Magnesium, you will cause yourself to become deficient in vitamin K2 and further deficient (for most people) in Magnesium.

I gave a blood sample and my Vitamin D is only 3.5 Nanogram/ML, meanwhile normal range in a healthy adult is 20 to 50 nanogram/ml. Is this why my joints have been swelling?

Loads of radiation in the air especially wifi nonstop. Look at electricity cables near trees. It looks like the trees are chewed up by giants. Radiation eats up your body minerals as it does to plants and the rest of all living creatures. People look like squared eyed zombies all over the world nowdays. I moved to an Island with 365 days a year summer temperature. Im outside at least 8 hours a day. I eat loads of local fresh fruit, vegetables and beans every single day. Once a week I will eat steak(I'm not a vegetarian). Still got vitamine D deficiency. I'm telling you, its the darn radiation from wifi and all the electronic bulls.t we carry around.

I have vitamin D deficiency... I got diagnosed from a blood test and I have to take tablets twice a day until I’m 18 (I’m 11) my mum shouts at me when I don’t take them 😂

Just started taking a vitamin D supplement due to very low vitamin D level, I also have Very low Ferritin, elevated HS CRP >15 and my estrogen is elevated at 266. I have been extremely tired, very solemn and depressed. I have been on a Keto diet on and off for approximately 2 years and try to get my fats and veggies in but Im thinking maybe Im not getting enough Iron through protein. I just started seeing a functional medicine doctor who put me on vit d, iron, and an adrenal complex. Im hoping to see change but I am afraid that the doc is just into making money off his supplements so well see. Never thought I could have a vit D deficiency living in Florida, lol, I was surprised! Thanks for the video as it confirms some of my symptoms.

Highest food sources of D are mackeral- 1000 IU per 100g, sockeye salmon 700iu per 100g, salmon 600 iu per 100g. RDA is 400 IU. Skin make 10,000 IU a day when whole body exposed to sun for the day. Pig lard - free range 10,000 IU per 100g. They sell pig lard near the butter at the super markets it would have less than free range but still good. Nutritiondata can be used to look up vitamin d foods.

Here's something interesting for you. I live in the Mediterranean and out in the sun all the time, and yet, my Vitamin D levels are 17 ... transpires that Vitamin D is not absorbed if the magnesium levels are low.

Can i take coral calcium with magnesium and vitamin D3 ? I want to fortify my teeth and my bones. I was tested and have very low vitamin D and so was my mom. I cannot go outside for long because i am sentitive to the sun i get sun burned easily it is called European Skin. That is what i remember the doctor talking to my parents about when i was a kid.

Great thing about getting vitamin D by the sun, is that it's free. I need to get some sun my vitamin D level is so low my doctor actually told me I could die. He said, it's bad for the heart cause you loss calcium. I'm doing what I can to greet healthier.

So glad I watched your video. I was just diagnosed with D deficiency. I am was just prescribed 50,000 UI of Vitamin D3 once a week. With follow up with primary care physician in two months. The interesting part of your video was taking the fat soluble vitamin with coconut oil for better absorption. Which had not been stated in any of the videos I have watched. I have never used coconut oil. Yesterday I went searching for solutions to treat my dog's dermititis. I keep coming across organic coconut oil. I went out and bought coconut oil. Now that I watched your video. I don't think buying coconut oil was a accident. Apparently I need it just as much as my dog does. Thanks for the video.

I was told by my test results that I'm vitamin D deficiency. My doctor said I need more sun & to supplement. Does tanning in a salon count as getting sun?? Even if its occasionally tanning not a weekly thing. Because I'm outside a lot but I can't seem to get any darker or anything. I am still very very pale much of the time

Since I was a young man in the work force, I either worked indoors (office) or at night (swing and graveyard shifts). I began having endocrine issues at around 50 years of age, for which my PCP referred me to an endocrinologist. This specialist found, among other problems, that I had a GROSS vitamin D deficiency ! She prescribed D3 at 2,000IU twice a day. Even at this dosage, it took me 5 months to get my levels normal ! Take your supplements folks ! We live in a toxic environment.

I went through surgical menopause in late 20's, I also in late 30's contracted Lyme disease which manifested into Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, chronic fatigue, and pain. I had a great doctor at that time that had me on regiment of 50,000 units of vitamin D per week. One capsule every week. I now have a doctor saying, "Well, I really don't know that much about vitamin D ". It's ridiculous, I can get it SO much more affordable through my insurance and take SO many less "pills" than if I purchase OTC. It helped so very much with fatigue, depression, bone loss, musculature etc.
