Trezor from Amazon [Black]: http://amzn.to/2FTJBqt Trezor from Amazon [White]: http://amzn.to/2HMoTK1 BLOG REVIEW: https://davewirth.blogspot.com/2018/03/trezor-review-how-to-setup-how-to-use.html A popular saying in Crypto is “if you don’t hold your private key you don’t hold your money. One of the safest way to hold your private key is with a hardware wallet. Something that you know is safe, secure, private, and easy to do. It doesn’t matter how much money you have invested, a hardware wallet is good practice and something everyone should do. Take it from the thousands of people who have lost their savings, weather through a computer crashing or trojan virus stealing from a software wallet or exchange being hacked. Don’t wait until something bad happens before you take the right steps. A hardware wallet is one of the best things you can get. For all you beginners maybe you are wondering how safe it is….or how do you even store them….and maybe you read a lot about people saying “you need a hardware wallet”. One product that always comes up is Trezor. That’s because they’ve been around the longest, since 2014, and are trusted. I contacted Trezor and they sent me their hardware wallet to review In this video i will explain different wallets, why you may want a hardware wallet, what comes with the Trezor, how to set it up, how to add coins to it, how to send coins from it, and my honest opinion. https://trezor.io/ (Disclosure Note: Please note that some of the links above are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you decide to make a purchase after clicking through the link.)

Having problems with MetaMask is it possible to transfer Token from there to Trezor?

Once you use Trezor it will create a new walltet for you .If you have an existing wallet then you would have to transfer to your trezor wallet..since when you load Trezor there is not an option to import a wallet...I could be wrong here but thats what I read up so far.

Hi D₩, I'm all new at this... I'm still having some issues with downloading the trezor bridge Google extension on my old (2008) MacPro. Maybe I need to buy a new Mac Pro...not sure yet... but at any rate I'm a little confused on the subject of money transfer; for example, If i take my initial investment deposit of a $1,000 LTC and/or BTC from my Coinbase Vault and/or Wallet via transfer it to my Trezor, will Coinbase still be able use my $1000 dollars to trade...? In other words, is a my Trezor device only to park your capital gains and/or profits Coinbase initial investment deposit monies correct? I'm a little in the dark on this process on how it works...😵

Not sure about the extension, mine worked right away on Google Chrome. If you transfer from Coinbase to the Trezor, your balance at coinbase will show $0. The same as if you had $1,000 at a bank, and then withdrew cash and put in your wallet. The point of the Trezor is that You will hold your money, not a company online or an exchange. There are advantages and disadvantages of both. It's definitely easier to just leave it on Coinbase, but there is some risk if they get hacked. But there is some risk with the Trezor, you can lose it, forget your password, screw up when transferring money. Definitely practice with sending $1 back and forth a few times before or if you decide to send $1,000.

so there is no way of extracting a private key for a certain coin?
Dave Wirth (7 months ago)
I don't think so, i believe the trezor keeps that hidden
