+Novak Saljic And okay. The worlds first operating system was designed by an American. The worlds first notion was created by an American company, IBM. Th worlds first social media platform on the internet were all created by Americans. Oh, look at that, all Americans.

+Novak Saljic Take and improve?? What these people did wasnt take and improve in the context of what alibaba did?
Novak Saljic (8

Dhameer Govind (9
Just 1 very very very important thing from this video. The 8 - 5 thing which many of you are are reaffirming, needs to be taken with more understanding. Don't go beyond 8 - 5 in any job. Only go beyond 8 - 5 in your own business or a business which shows belief and trust in you. Be careful with this kind of dedication. If you work 12 hour days for a random person or business and you don't get anything back in the future then it will be very demoralising.

No respect of the others, just copy and steal and copy. When no one in the world dared complain about china, they now sued New Balance and many many others for their own copy right. These cultural revolution chinese are insane. They are the cancer of human society.

Wow! This guy is a both a visionary and a prophet.
Bokononist (12
A lot of you young niggas in the comments calling him a visionary clearly don’t know about how the Internet bubble burst a year after he said that. Fiber optics, the future of the Internet, still hasn’t recovered. Companies worth billions at their peak fell down to 2 dollars a share over night. What we have right now is a tiny fraction of what could have been.

Taka Masuda (20
Yeah but he isn’t competing with American companies at all. The CCP protectionism allows him to build his company in a protected bubble that gives him access to 1.4 billion consumers. All he has to do is keep hiring ex eBay/Amazon Chinese engineers and ask them to replicate the same work for his firm. Stop comparing this big head with Bezos he isn’t innovative at all. His accomplishment was schmoozing up with the right CCP officials to maintain his position in China, and holding back the other weak ass Chinese competitors in that space.
Taka Masuda (19
Eim Unbannable nice ad hominem. Let me know when you can refute my statement with facts.

The people who succeed career wise have no anxiety or self doubt. How?
Yeah no. Alibaba works because its selling cheap chinese goods overseas. Work Hard? Ok. If that's what it takes to get it up and running, but once it is, simple price differences will end up selling the product. Not hard work ethics, or any of that crap.
Nathan X. (21
Sounds interesting and I can see the passion but I feel like he doesn't really talk about anything in this video. He said they should compete with american companies but didn't say how. He also talked about working hard but I guess I'm kind of looking for what does this company actually do? I still don't really know even today... What does his company actually do?
