Оценок: 9776 | Просмотров: 781272
Nokona baseball gloves are made in Nocona, Texas using a number of different leathers including kangaroo, cowhide and buffalo. From hot stamping, to embroidering, to lacing, Nokona has been handcrafting ball gloves since 1934. Video by Brian Schildhorn Made is a series of short films that demonstrate how everyday luxury objects are made, and honor the process and artisans behind them.

A shame the sport isn't as beautiful as this craftmanship... A sport full of steroids and commercialbreaks.
name less (9 дней назад)
Nice. $290 is extremely reasonable for the quality of workmanship put into that. This is how its ment to be.
alex (9 дней назад)
I still have my Nokona from when I was a kid. Best.

A rich heritage that goes back 100 years?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Americans.. Try Italy with a rich heritage that goes back more than a thousand years.

Modern gloves require zero skill on behalf of the wearer. Their the size of snow-shovel scoops. Who couldn't catch a ball wearing one?
David Ortiz (11 дней назад)
love baseball
stephenmwyatt2 (11 дней назад)
I am still addicted to Rawlings heart of the hide 13",.......and I usually get a BLEM

These blow away Wilson. I look at these gloves as the Rolls Royce of gloves. If I was in my 20's I would buy one in a heartbeat. Nice video

Daniel Navarro (19 дней назад)
How much for one these glovrs
SynicalNoah (19 дней назад)
It’s sad everything is mass produced nowadays instead of hand made. Usually hand made products are better, last longer, and you know the story behind each item.
Darryl Maynard (19 дней назад)
Worth EVERY damn penny! Thanks Nokona!
Poogan123 (19 дней назад)
Baseball, what a boring ass sport.
craig50golf (19 дней назад)

Remember when I played ball these are the only gloves I used back then
WITHDRAW (20 дней назад)
Others have said it... But Rawlings still makes their top models in the US. I have had way too many gloves to count over the years and the Nokonas are great gloves. But the Italian Primos from the mid 2000's were some of the best gloves I ever used. Best cheap glove IMO are the Domins made down in Mexico I believe.
Teelio (20 дней назад)
This is how it is suppose to be....
Matthew C (20 дней назад)
My dad and I visited the Nokona factory around 15 years ago and I'm pretty sure we met the guy in the video.

Agostino Matteucci (22 дня назад)
I had a glove. It was my first glove and it was like and extension of my right hand.. nothing got by me. When i pitched, it was there to protect me.. played first base, outfield, my best friend. I had it rewound twice as the web got a little too soft .. it was my Wonderboy. Alas i put it down one day on the bench to hit some pepper. Someone stole my glove. 40 years later i still miss it.the replacement never felt right.. i guess when you find the right fit, nothing else will do.
