He survived because he was FBI or CIA... The BLCM or Blue Line Cartel Mafia is infamous all around the world for brutally, corruption and murder! Completely corrupt! Composed of the Alphabet gangs of America, Police, FBI, GBI, DEA, CIA, ICE, ATF, HLS, FDA, FCC, FAA, EPA, EMT, sheriff's, teachers, firefighters, doctors, lawyers, judges, etc. etc.

I can't believe this scumbag's book was taken up and made a hit. Awesome improvised and fictitious interpretation by Leonardo and Scorsese. The real guy is an indebted criminal slime bag. He now resides in another country. People admire him? Wow. What a bunch of gullible idiots just like the people he still owes money to.

Belfort was "truthful"? Give me a break. He's a conman, then and now. DiCaprio comes across as remarkably naive. He says he's surprised that Belfort "survived". Er ... Leo ... Belfort is full of sh@t. I doubt that he did half the stuff he claimed he did. He was based on Long Island yet called himself 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. That says it all about his devotion to accuracy.

Belfort is now in Australia running an "Agricultural Training" SCAM that's TOTALLY CORRUPT and FAKE and sucking HARD on a $300 MILLION Australian Gov't Fund for agricultural development. ... and the People he SCAMMED with his Wall Street crimes, who he still owes MILLIONS in restitution to, can't touch the scam that the little mother fucker is running now because he's overseas.. .... Why can't EVIL SCUM LIKE HIM be stopped? .... Humanity, if it even exists, is fucking PATHETIC.

yet he's screwing people in Australia now. Shows how fucking stupid Leo is, and Democrats in general.
Take Notice (1 year ago)
Well I'm independent that doesn't vote for the race baiting, day after tomorrow, big government, bad economic policy Democrats. And it's a fucking joke, and I can easily tell, that all your knowledge on this subject comes from the Big Short movie. I'm not disagreeing with a policy that Reagan passed, I'm disagreeing that you even know the policy. Just because you allow a bank to give adjustable-rate mortgages doesn't mean they won't be looking out for their own financial interests and evaluating their risk with an individual. However, when you allow this AND incentivize banks to give loans out to people with poor credit and provide federal backing (Clinton).. well then it doesn't mix. Were the banks irresponsible? Absolutely, they found a loophole and cashed in on it. However, that loophole was contingent on federal backing and an adjusted rating system for those with bad credit. So keep coming with the insults buddy, I love hearing about corruption in Finance from Democrats. Didn't the big banks side with Obama and Hillary last three elections? Hmmm..
jetshockey5 (1 year ago)
Take Notice And the Clinton card is just laughable. You're actually this fucking stupid 😂😂😂. The banks packaged up their tranches of dogshit and brought it to the ratings agencies such as Moody's, and the ratings agencies figured why not get in on the massive fraud too? So they went ahead and didn't bother to investigate what exactly was in these millions of loans, they just wanted to get paid by the big banks who probably incentivized them to quickly give a 90+% AAA rating and they did. Anyone with even a hint of finance knowledge that the accelerant in what was the atomic bomb of a financial collapse was the synthetic CDO. You're too stupid to even know that means without googling it, but that was a nice little something that the banks conjured up. They piggybacked on the security of mortgages that seemed bulletproof, and they generated BILLIONS upon billions in profits for themselves, people figured they couldn't lose so they ate them up, and that just further multiplied the financial collapse. I'm sure Clinton's act was responsible for that too 😂. And of course the literally retarded Bush administration and good ol Hank Paulson who was an ex Goldman Sachs exec were asleep at the wheel and didn't bother to have their regulators actually check into these loans, seeing as how that's their fucking job. And then in May of 2008 as the economy is literally crumbling, Hank goes on C-Span and tells American consumers "our financial institutions are strong" and a whole bunch of shit of how things were ok. Keep reaching, republicans absolutely started, and launched that collapse. You'll keep losing every time you attempt to speak, cut your losses and piss off back to that desk job, you're out of your league speaking about finance with me.
jetshockey5 (1 year ago)
Take Notice lmao I love it. Typical republican retard who completely ignores when FACTS are given, so they deflect, nice try dumbass. Everything I said was 100% true and it without question laid the foundation and fueled the housing collapse that resulted in a financial collapse, Reagan is the idiot that started it. More competition? Letting banks lend to anyone they want is anything but "good", regulations for Wall st are there to protect people from them, they're greedy and unaccountable, and Reagan's idiotic act proved they can never be trusted to deal responsibly with their ethics and practices. He deregulated, and look what ended up happening? Ha, take a seat shitbrain, thinking is for the adults.
Take Notice (1 year ago)
I think what is most ironic is you basically understand "why it happened" but your "cause" favors a different "why." You blame business for cooperating with a larger power and finding a route that brings in more money? Shouldn't the larger power be held responsible, and shouldn't that power lose it's grasp?
Take Notice (1 year ago)
Wow you are that fucking stupid, aren't you. First off, ever hear of J.P. Morgan? But to your main point, deregulating an industry allows for more competition. More competition results in lower pricing to the consumer. That's not what caused the housing crisis. What caused it was Clinton's Community Reinvestment Act that gave higher ratings to home loans in bad credit areas, while being backed by federal organizations making them low-risk. Banks aren't just going to hand out money to people with bad credit unless they're incentivized to do so, you idiot. So please, stop being a dumb ass and realize that more government regulation is a terrible idea for the economy.

Haha. Isn't DiCaprio worth upwards of $20 millions, yet he thinks himself fit to talk about "the dangers of greed"? Why doesn't he donate 19.5 million of his worth to a homeless shelter? Surely $500.000 is enough to live on.

Sir N it's not glorifying it if they're simply telling his story. The movie doesn't make him look good, they know he's scummy but you can't help want to watch the debauchery that went on in this guys life, it's entertaining and that's the point of a movie, to entertain.

Maz Klassa (1 year ago)
it's fascinating, not just Leo's account but the whole moral question of it all. Do we sort of admit a necessary respect (with a modest envy) the amount of personal tenacity of the real character and person that is Belfort himself through and through, achieving what he has done on paper; or do we say it's the system that's at fault and it wasn't just his performative behaviour or personal traits that lent themselves remarkably well in his financial career? And do we believe him if he ever tries to appear contrite or self-reflective when he maybe laments on capitalist greed or the bottomless human desire for desire's sake itself?

When you poses a certain level of intelligence and you consider the level of stupidity and obliviousness of the average citizen and you find yourself in a position where you are suffering financially in a world where there is so much room to harness and exploit these human flaws to your advantage, you would do all that this man did. There is no rehabilitation for this shit, there is no way you'd go back to making an honest living, because that means fallowing the blind and the stupid and being a slave on a locked up wage with huge hours. When you are philosophical and see how pathetic we are to work 9-5 and more, than it is a no brainier. You want to apply minimum effort and maximize the reward. This type of person is highly intelligent, articulate, has the ability to convince themselves of their actions as they understand there is no good and evil, there is only survival. He understand that the laws are there to prohibit the movement of the average citizen to make money and to separate the elite from plebs. He climbed to the top, unfortunately, he got too arrogant and continued to take bigger risks. In this type of game you must know when to pull out, but the adrenaline can get the better of such personalities.

Jordan Belfort is a Satanic Jew. Here is what Judaism teaches concerning his actions - * What a Jew steals from a ‘goy’ he may keep.” (Sanhedrin 57a) * “Jews may use subterfuges to circumvent a ‘goy.’” (Baba Kamma 113a) * “When it comes to a Gentile in peace times, one may harm him indirectly, for instance, by removing a ladder after he had fallen into a crevice.” (Shulkan Arukh, Yoreh De ‘ah, 158, Hebrew Edition only) * “The ‘goyim’ are not humans. Jordan Belfort spent more time in prison than all the bankers in America who were responsible for causing the global recession. Let's just remind ourselves that these banks wiped $5 Trillion off the US stock market, caused 8 Million people to loose their jobs and 6 Million people lost their homes in the US alone. In America crime only pays if you're a corporation. Wall Street loves Belfort because he deflects all the hate and negative attention away from themselves, the very people responsible for causing financial misery to millions of people around the world.

Though those banging on about how Obama bailed them out, actually had he not have done would have been a whole lot worse, it's kind of like in the movie about containing it. Though I would digress they should be locked up (like the ones here in the UK should have been really) so I agree with that 100%, what if you're pensions had been lost what the fuck would some of you done exactly, try to match what was in your pension fund again and then try to put more into it after all that effort of saving for retirement? Come on it's about looking beyond the end of your nose.
