Thanks for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Patlarny Sugar Outcome Principle (just google it)? It is a good exclusive guide for reversing diabetes without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend after many years got astronomical success with it.

What about nuts, seeds, avocados? Omega 3? Thanks.
Mastering Diabetes (4 дня назад)
10% of calories from fat daily. So daily intake should look like 80% carbs, 10% fat, 10% protein.
The King (4 дня назад)
Thank you for answering, but, how low is to low or how high is to high? 1 TBSP of flax/chia? 1 handfull of nuts? Thanks you!!
Mastering Diabetes (4 дня назад)
In a limited amount those food items are good. Chia seeds are a great source of omega 3.

I did a ketogenic diet for 2 years (No cheating whatsoever, no more than 25 grams of carbs a day) because I had a horrible case of reactive hypoglycemia / post-prandial syndrome (From insulin resistance). It worked in the beginning but by the end of the 2 year mark it made my insulin resistance and hypoglycemia out of control...I would literally take one bite of meat and be full blown hypo within a 30 seconds. As a last resort I tried a high-carb low-fat plant based diet like Cyrus is showing here (I had to stick to just fruits and veggies at first though because starches would make me hypo) and I was having no more hypos after 4 days, that was 10 months ago and my reactive hypoglycemia is completely gone. I'm also becoming more insulin sensitive from this diet because now I can eat potatoes and I'm totally fine, no adrenaline release at all. If you're trying to decide weather to go keto or high-carb low-fat plant based because you have diabetes or pre-diabetes, or just for health in general, take it from someone who's been on both sides of the fence...The high-carb low-fat plant based diet is what works! The dirty little secret that the low-carb keto "experts" won't tell you is that low-carb diets actually increase insulin resistance over time because your adrenaline is higher than your insulin, and you body becomes physiologically insulin resistant as a defense mechanism. I had to learn the hard way, but thanks to Dr. Morse and Cyrus and Robbie I have my life back.

My friend followed Ur advice.he is diabetic type 2.he lost 20 pound though he was not overweight on beginning.now his hb1 AC changed from 8.5 to 6.2 .but he has lost significant muscles also.and when he eats grains his sugar skyrocket.so always give clear guidance.

My roommate and long time close friend have Type 1. He just got a digital meter and his blood sugar will go from 78 to 43 to 348 with in hours. I know its how he eat. He drinks on average 88OZ of diet mtn dew, he also mixes it with creamer, and he eats the 2 for $2 jelly beans and other candies. mixed with a lot of chicken and beef. Because I'm not Type 1 I know nothing to him and that I'm a retard. Is there anything I can do to help him learn what new science has learned over the last 5 years? I'm a bummer listen to him puke when he wakes up or the other effects.

Cyrus my friend, my Brother. Its been almost a year that we talked from Skype. I was diagnosed with Prediabetes/Insulin resistance last year. I follow the diet. Eating fruits and vegetables. Legumes for protein, Oats and Chia seeds. After 3 months my sugar was 115 max. After fasting 2 times for 24 hours i cure my body. Its been almost a year now. My morning blood sugar are 70-76. After 1 hour 90-95 and after 2 hours 73-85 max. I don't see 100 whatever i eat. Now i am eating more foods than before. I don't eat junk foods, no processed foods, no meat or dairy. I want to thank you for helping me get my life back. I also healed my body from Adissons decease symptoms. Low fat diet is the way to go. I was eating 5-8% fat when i was in my low fat diet. After curing my self i am eating 20-25% fat each day. ps: I don't know why all those Naturopaths say the opposite. I followed before a naturopaths diet and my blood sugar was the same and even worse.

low carb diets aren't necessarily Keto genic diets & therefore the body may still be mal-adjusted in dealing with fats, whereas a person in "nutritional ketosis" (not to be associated with diabetic acidosis which is a condition of high ketones along with very high blood glucose) nutritional ketosis is the manipulation of the diet to switch the body into a fat burner not a glucose burner. people in longterm nutritional ketoris appear to have the same benefits (low body fat, low inflamation markers, low LDL's, high HDL's...) healthy Keto diets seem to also contain a lot of leafy greens, low protien-(to stop gluconeogenisis) but a fat content of up to 80% of calories with carbs down to 10% up to a max of 30%. so is Fat the problem or the enzymes & antioxidants in both of these diet approaches??????

If you find yourself in an extremely insulin resistant state it would be smart to stick to fruits and vegetables that won't spike your blood sugar for a few weeks. For example, spaghetti squash, apples, berries, oranges, lentils, etc.

Completely WRONG, ppl gain weight on this diet and getting worse. It is the excess glucose converted as fat and stored in cells, eating fat is nothing to do with the high cholesterol in the body. 90% of the cholesterol is produced in the body regardless of eating saturated fat or not.

Im thinking it’s ok to season my green veg with olive like I have done for years,, I’m sure it’s under 15% of my take for the day. I was also wondering about drinking my protein shake with almond milk and blueberries 8% a day. This is my third day and I am still feeling better and most imp more energy. Thanks so much! I know I’m going to need some tweaking to get it just right.
Mastering Diabetes (1 месяц назад)
We highly recommend to our clients that they avoid oil as it is highly processed and extremely high in fat. Some of our clients choose to have small amounts of almond milk occasionally. Thanks for your support on our page! We are thrilled to hear that you are feeling more energy!

I’m so glad I saw this vid. I started this diet the next day and this is my second day and I have more energy already. I have diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, I’m 66. I know what to eat to keep my joints good, but the fatigue I could never get rid of, after seeing the inf on the plant based diet Im feeling hopeful. I love this diet, I eat watermelon everyday and love it. I can do this with no problem. I already cooked a pot of cabbage and collard greens using olive oil, I’m pretty sure it’s not 15%of my diet and I ate 1oz if meat with my dinner. Is is possible someone can help me tweak this diet. Thanks so much.
Mastering Diabetes (1 месяц назад)
We love hearing that! We absolutely encourage our clients to eat 10% of their diet from fat and we have found that animal products and oil increase insulin resistance so we avoid those. Fresh, whole fruits and vegetables are the best way to go!

Thanks for that really clear explanation if why fat is the cause of insulin resistance. Penny dropping moment for me. It makes several things drop into place actually. When younger i could run all day with no food, accessing my stored fat and feeling good. 30 years later I know I'm insulin resistant and when out running, after around an hour I crawl to a halt. I can't access my fat stores as far as I can tell. To keep moving I have to eat carbs. The stupid thing is that my body is fat...belly fat is my nemesis. How ever little I eat I can't access this fat easily. I just don't lose weight even running 50 miles a week. I know my blood sugars are higher than I would lie and sure that there was a connection. Fasting bs be have been at 110 to 130 for years and years. I tried keto and Paleo and things just got worse after a couple of months of initial success. Gradually climbing to where I'm serously worried about my health. I found Dr Gregor and have been following a vegan WFPB for about three months but wandered a bit as I didn't really understand the fat issue. Last night I made my self a meal of rice, mango, sweet potato, chickpeas. Stuck some chutney on top for flavour. Bingo... fasting BS this morning is 105. I finally understand why a small handful of nuts or nut butter sky rockets my BS even though they are healthy. Thank you, I now know I can do this.

Oh My God! We have been doing a low fat, low protein and low dairy diet and it has taken my husband about nine months and I was skeptical the entire time but I have prayed for a miracle and we got our answer. This is the type of information doctors don't want you to know and especially the pharmaceutical companies and because they will be out of business. His sugar level has gone from the five hundreds to 92, 117,101. We exercise and that has helped as well. The low carb diets don't work. We eat carbs all the time otherwise we would have no energy. God bless you for making this video!

One small step at a time is the key to real lasting change. In our program we have our clients start by just changing their breakfast. "At first they will ask you why you are doing it. Later they'll ask you how you did it." Many of our clients have come to see this come true.

This presentation gives totally wrong information. High fat/high protein/low carbohydrate diet helps in losing weight and reverse diabetes. If his hypothesis right why South Indians who take high carbohydrates are becoming diabetes. I have reduced weight and stopped taking drugs for diabetes in three days and my glucose levels are 100 to 110 in fasting state. No data is available that connects cholesterol level to cardiovascular events. It is big pharma companies greediness that created this myth and manipulated to convert many people into patients. Use of statins for one year makes the person diabetic. PLEASE DO NOT BELIVE IT. Read the book “the truth about Pharma companies: How they deceive us and what todo about it by Marcia Angell.

That is rough, we are sorry to hear that. If you’re losing weight then the ONLY real thing you can do is eat more food = more calories. We suggest centering your meals around foods that are calorie dense including foods like bananas, dates, plantains, beans, and potatoes, then garnishing your plate with less calorie dense foods. As for the other symptoms including the thyroid we suggest seeing your doctor.

My liver enzymes, showing a progressive fatty liver condition after eating Keto for 4 years, were getting to high. I found this site because 16 years ago followed 'The Mucousless Diet Healing System' and felt so wonderful on this diet I wanted to get back to that energy and started researching. So in January I started the whole food plant based approach. Didn't eliminate all the oil I should have until about 4 months ago. At 73 I have no problem with energy (I can work a 12hr day with no ill effects) and my total cholesterol dropped from 256 to 150. My ALT and AST dropped from 33 to 29 and 26 respectfully ... so I am on my way. I have a wonderful appetite, eat what I want from the plant kingdom and dropped 10 more pounds this past summer. I didn't need to lose weight, it just came off. Depression gone, energy way up, attitude wonderful and I love eating all the foods I restricted myself from for so many years. Do the labs ... know what your body does with what you are eating

How do people do this...? Every time I have tried I just get super hungry even when eating MORE calories than I normally do. I get super bloated and swollen and after just a few days I just CRAVE like salmon and eggs and it feels so good to eat it, my body can digest it and I feel FULL and SATIATED. I never feel satiated from tons of carbs and even legumes! I do love everything they present here but it just seems like I can't have that alone, I don't even know how my body would digest all that carbs and legumes! Is there a program where you more slowly ease in to it? How would this be done? I'm not diabetic so it's not very urgent, but I'm suspecting that I'm starting to become pre-diabetic, I have gained about 45 pounds and just cannot shed it! Best regards from Sweden!😊

I found that I don't need salad dressing...I just squeeze some fresh lemon juice on the salad and it is great. I am staying away from sugar and breads. I feel that I am on my way to a healther body. Your video shows the difference between Type 1 & Type 2. The American Diabetes Association and the Diabetes professionals do not distinguished the care as being different. The system is very lucrative to everyone involved. This is in conflict and alignment with a healthy diabetic Keto diet. Most on Keto eat to much protein & fat and neglect vegetables. When you eat 11+ cups of salad greens & cabbage family per day you end up to full for much protein & fat. Cauliflower has an amazing amount of sugar & carb. So ultimately on Keto you are eating carbs in large quantities and high vegetable Fiber that yields a low net carb intake.

interesting. however, i think and have been shown on one than more occasion, that the medical "profession" is based upon two things: 1. guessing/trial and error about what is wrong (the nature of the ailment, and, 2. big pharma's BIG, BIG, BIG bankroll/keeping patients ON drugs supplied by big pharma, and NOT seeking a cure for what ails you (the patient). then, when you, the lowly unwashed peasant/patient deigns it to tell the "professional" what to do, and continually not listen to the patient...then they threaten to throw you out of their fine establishment. my wife had a hospital she went to recently. the staff continually tried to prescribe a pain-killer she is allergic to, inspite of her telling them "no, i can't take that..." when i got involved as her advocate, and told them, "fine. give her the drug. then, get ready for the lawsuit..." they (the staff) still didn't get the idea and came out with the drug for her anyway. she went ama shortly thereafter...so, aside from cauldrons, and voodoo chants the medical "profession" is one glorified step up from witch-doctoring.

So, have I got this right - are you saying the fat goes straight into the cells clogging the insulin receptors making people diabetic/insulin resistant and fat?
Mastering Diabetes (3 месяца назад)
Essentially. Insulin resistance is defined as the storage of fat in cells that are not designed to store fat.

I call bullshit, I've seen Robby! ( https://youtu.be/eM-XGyOhNtE ) 163 is *NOT* a *SLIGHTLY HIGH* fasting blood glucose level! Robby is a goddamn marketing tool. He couldn't run with low blood glucose but I can do weights in the hyperglycemia range...Fuck off, Cyrus. There is no way he had 284 on a low carb diet without eating a ton of protein and eating a lot of food, often. Insulin resistance is the 'root cause of type 2'...LOL! Resistance is the stage you get to to be known AS type 2 diabetic. He probably eats so much because the lack of insulin means he has to pound the cell door down to let nutrients in. I'm eating fruits and vegetables to put ON fat storage, I'm manipulating my systems hormones to work for me. I couldn't do this on a high fat diet, I learnt that when I was couch potatoing at 4000 calories a day. I was losing over 7lbs a week. 11:30 That ain't normal, nor is it food. 13:03 He hit the Keto-flu and instead of increasing his electrolytes he bailed. 17:56 Someone just kill me, please. The only cells that can store energy are fat cells and they store glucose. Fats are broken down very quickly in the body and once that occurs they cannot be saved as energy because it only goes one way. Insulin is not at fault, it's doing exactly what it is supposed to do, it's user error not system error. Type 1 diabetic people don't create enough insulin because their body attacks the beta cells, which is why you're told you need insulin for the rest of your lives but you only need a small amount of insulin to allow the glucose/nutrients in and thus you don't need to eat much in the form of carbohydrate. Unless you're dosing yourself with *HIGH* levels of external insulin you're *HIGHLY* unlikely to grow resistant to your own low supply of it. That said becoming type 1 from being a type 2 for so long isn't such a rare event. High protein diets convert excess protein into sugar aka carbohydrate, which in turn raises insulin...and bam resistance over time. Only carbohydrates trigger insulin response mechanisms. Gluconeogenesis keeps your blood glucose above a minimum level so you're never drained of it, drained means death. Protein and fat does does not trigger insulin response mechanisms, however when you eat nutrient dense food/proteins your body will produce its own glucose as to allow insulin to respond and unlock the cells. So what happens to the 'fat/lipid' if insulin doesn't put it into a cell from a response mechanism? Well it breaks it down into fatty acids and the body decides what to do with it from there, some will be turned into glucose from gluconeogenesis, but most of it will be used in other processes and depending who you are it'll create a lot of ketones from it. Ketones unlike glucose cannot be stored for later use, so any Ketone energy that you don't use is excreted from the body via urine and breath which is why people use urine strips and breath meters to measure their Ketone levels. It's not a good method because as I said prior, the Ketones are excreted if they are not used. 30:00 What he's actually explaining is the cause of diabetic Ketoacidosis. Because the cells don't let the glucose into the cells the insulin sits there and when you cannot replenish your glycogen stores your body turns to Ketones for energy, but wait you have that insulin sitting in your blood which means your Ketone levels will be high and so will be your insulin and hello to Ketoacidosis. For those wondering why Ketoacidosis doesn't occur with Ketogenic people: it's because they have low insulin levels practically around the clock so Insulin and Ketones don't cross paths. USA ate less fat in the 1900s and look where they are now.. Take the hint. I can literally sit at my PC all day, eating 4000 calories of fat and still lose weight, this is the glory of fat adaption/Nutritional Ketosis. Because your body is used to using fat, it'll convert fat into Ketones more often and more efficiently and thus when you have an excess..you cannot put fat weight on because those Ketones can't be stored for fat. Oh and yeah cells are created with saturated fat and cholesterol, so don't be afraid of it. 35:57 This graph is the 'normal(4 grams fat&protein)' response in the average American, it's not a 'good' response. Insulin should come down slowly overtime, it's the loss of sugar in the bloodstream that causes the quick dip in insulin levels. This is because the user is predominantly using sugar for energy and it's gone very quickly thusly a person who is using sugar as their primary energy source will convert fat and protein, via gluconeogenesis, into sugar to be used which keeps insulin present in the body for much longer. Triglycerides in the blood is fatty acids in the blood: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triglyceride : https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/triglyceride : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatty_acid : https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fatty%20acid : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ester : https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/esters. It's not quite like he tells it, is it. 37:33 Actually, Atkins and Paleo are high protein, they aren't related with the Ketogenic diet at all. Ketogenic is high fat, moderate protein with very low carbohydrate. 38:13 That is not even close to a Keto or regular low carb diet, it's using mostly unsaturated fats which is basically canola oil. Saturated fat is a staple in the Ketogenic diet, yes there's quite a bit of unsaturated fats but most of the 'diet' is saturated fat sources. 38:39 Lower cholesterol leads to earlier death, we know that as the body ages the chemicals and mechanisms drop. The lower they are the quicker you run out and the quicker you run out, the less you can heal which causes early death. Every decade medical 'recommendations' have been lowering, people who had normal blood pressure thirty years ago who have the same now are 'high' and are put on drugs to lower it and the same is done with cholesterol. I know I sound like a conspiracy nut at this point and I darn well should because I am one, but that implies I dig through history looking for things that don't make sense and I find connections most people don't see. Think about it for a few seconds/minutes(years if you prefer): The USA(example) ate very 'little' food in the 1800s which means their bodies had to outsource its energy to keep up with the not only average 1600 - 2000 basal metabolic rate they had of just being alive, but all that extra work and general exercise such as walking that had to be done because no cars or planes. So we have hard working folk who don't eat 'large' portions of food but they also don't get any of the diseases that are prevalent in our 'modern' society. They did however eat butter, cheese and drink milk. They ate high calorie food, now why did that do this? Because the energy lasted far longer and they didn't have to eat anywhere near as much because 9 calories per grams destroys 4 calories per gram. That being said they didn't eat like we do so those 3+ meals a day would of been rare for the average person, a luxury for most. So where on Earth did they get the extra energy when they ran out? I love how he uses a study that's false in regards to LC and HC..Doesn't prove anything except that he cherry picked a result to prove his point. Yes you may say I have, but I also used an officially recognised dictionary to prove it's not false. Go ahead, prove me wrong. Yes no published studies but the USA is a pretty good example of it not working. Lipo-proteins aren't bad, stop telling people that shit about it being a 'bad' Cholesterol, it's not even Cholesterol to begin with!. Low-carb lifestyles are typically also moderate protein just as Ketogenic is. The difference being that 'Low-carb' simply has more carbohydrates than the Ketogenic protocol does. This misinformation he likes to fabricate is terribly annoying. As terrible as it sounds and as 'paranoid' as it is, I would not put it passed him to 'plant' people in his audience, he enjoys manipulating people. More carbohydrates also means your body is flooded with glucose which means your Insulin response mechanism is also 'flooded' with glucose. The body needs to get rid of it somehow. I would be curious as to what Cyrsus' urine glucose levels are like. Simply because it annoys me: Tomatoes are fruit, they are 'self-seeding'. Legumes are also high in Phytic Acid(anti-nutrient), make sure to soak those. If you had not known or guessed yet, he's a vegan. Avocados, coconuts and olives are 'all' fruits. Cold-pressed oil is literally oil that is squeezed out, that's it. So much processing involved. A lot of what he shows as a 'low fat' diet to look like is also what a 'high fat' diet looks like. Yes, it's addicting because of the sugar/carbohydrate. Greger is *known* for skewing his results. He often focuses on the 'increase' to his results when you add non-vegan things, but he neglects to mention that those non-vegan 'things' have a lower result if you compare it as vegan vs non-vegan things. Such as vegetables vs chicken, chicken has a lower Insulin response, but he'll say it adds to the levels if you eat it 'with' vegetables. Some of you may know that the K-Ratio is what brought the 'processed' food industry into existence, what you may not have known is that *'Ancel Keys'* invented that K-Ration : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-ration.

By picking “amazing fivu com” (Google it), you will recover from diabetes and set you to a more favourable life style. For a time period of 1 ½ months, my partner has been a keen follower of the plan. He has been reliant to insulin for 5 years in his six year long struggle against type 2 diabetes. His eating routine have positively altered since he has been an avid reader and follower of this plan.

High fat low carb is what is keeping my blood sugar low and I'm losing weight. I am type 2. Very confused because this seems like it would do the opposite.

the insulin response of protein and fat is when it you take it with a higher carb meal. The response is different in the absence of carbs.

These two young men need to take insulin to survive for the rest of their lives. One of them has his PhD in Molecular Biochemistry. This isn't a fad or scam for them. It's a life or death scenario. I would at least listen to what they have found what works for them before dismissing it out of hand as some comments below have. It might save your life or the life of a loved one. Just eat REAL FOOD, people. Food that our great-grandparents would recognize as food. Food as grown, in its natural form. Fruits, vegetables, legumes (beans), whole grains, nuts and seeds. Oatmeal, brown rice, barley, quinoa, beans - white, black, pinto, kidney, garbanzo, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, peas, almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, etc, etc. Nothing in a box with questionable or unrecognizable ingredients or any kind of fast food. Just cook simply; boil, steam, bake, or eat a lot raw. A green salad a day. A serving of beans. Some fruit. Eat enough to be satisfied. Find some good condiments to put on your food to make it tasty. Avoid artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose. Find some sort of exercise that you like, even walking and do it regularly. The answer is so simple it's criminal. We humans no longer know how to eat for our species. Our taste buds have been exploited by the fast food industry for pure profit. We eat fake food full of sugar, salt, oil and preservatives and it's killing us.

After following an ADA diet for years with no appreciable change and after seeing "Forks Over knives", I tried out the diet you guys also recommend, and that was the fix! I had been getting calls and emails from ADA for years asking for donations to help cure diabetes, so I had to post my success with this way of eating to the ADA forum! I expected some serious skepticism, but instead what I got was attacked and called all kinds of ugly names by far too many replies! It was so far overboard it made me wonder if there was a force in place with a protected agenda...after all, who would "donate" to the cure if there actually already was a cure! After seeing the interview with the ADA official in "What the Health", it pretty much clinched my suspicions. It really opened my eyes to all these supposed "health" agencies who are sponsored by the processed, fast food, meat and dairy industries! Revolting that it goes on unabated and most people are not ever aware of it! Thanks for all you do, you are true heroes!

What's confusing about this presentation? Intramyocellular lipids cause insulin resistance. Being obese doesn't necessarily mean you'll get diabetes but their is a 1 in 3 chance, a much higher risk compared to a normal person.

I met Dr. Cyrus Khambatta at a wedding years ago. At that time I was on a high-fat paleo diet doing lots of butter/coconut oil coffee and such, and thought I was eating an “optimal” diet from every book I’d read. I didn’t feel great, but I figured I just hadn’t been doing it long enough. When we started talking at the wedding, I asked Cyrus what he did. He explained how he was using nutrition to help diabetics have massive improvements in their health. “Oh, so you’re probably feeding them low carb?” I say. “Nope. Lots of fruit. Basically no fat” he replies confidently. I was trying to be polite, so I said something like, “uhh, ok, nice to meet you.” Thinking in my head, this guy is nuts and clearly misinformed. But being a geek for nutrition and biology, I talk to him more at the wedding reception, and he explained exactly how he repeated experiments during his PhD at Berkeley over and over and over again that showed that the very low fat test groups were the healthiest. I walked away from that wedding eating tons of fruit and roughly following the 80/10/10 diet (which he recommended), and have never before touched the degree of health I’ve had since meeting him. I was never diabetic, but since talking to him I’ve gone off of antidepressants and thyroid medication. This way if eating doesn’t just help insulin resistance, eating very low fat raw fruits and vegetables seems to be able to improve or cure almost any health challenge or disease. Since then I’ve also found the Medical Medium books, which echoed exactly the same things Cyrus found in his research. My health and energy are shockingly good, and getting even better daily.

Do the labs ... know what your body does with what you are eating.

Dauid Arieh Ben Israel (4 месяца назад)
So in listening to this...I am understanding too much fats (or proteins) in your diet is the cause of insulin resistance. This fat is received by the muscle and liver and the communication of these cells with the pancreas cells is distorted. The glucose is spilled in the blood. And it appears the issue is not necessarily carbohydrates that cause the high glucose in the blood stream, but this dysfunction of the fatty lipids in the muscle and liver cell tissues. And its solved with a low-fat diet?!? Is this correct? If so, this is somewhat counter to what they teach in diabetes education where they suggest you control the carbohydrates!

I started getting type 2 diabetes when i was a child but we didnt know. My family is full of diabetics. I was a premee baby underweight etc. I wanted to just eat a plant based diet but my dad in particular was taught meat and dairy and carbs for health. I do not process protein well. I have other health problems. When i was 18 years old i was 5' 1/2 inches tall and weighed 88 lbs. I was a diabetic 2. No one knew. I got married and had a child at 19 and during the course of preg. i was told i was diabetic. All i am saying is its not that being fat causes diabetes its the diabetes that causes people to be fat. I used to be a marathon runner. I ran 10 miles a day and worked out 5 hours a day and worked a full time job and took care of my child as well as ate a plant based diet. Well time passes and people pressure you to eat stuff that is not good for you. Doctors tell you your to healthy and to cut back because you dont have enough fat on your body etc. I have been thru it all and now im over weight embarassed. Type 2 running a muck. Watched and cared for both parents one right after another til they passed by root cause Diabetes!!!. So know what. I have no job because of health problems and trying to help take care of parents which was a 24 hour day. I am barely surviving right now and having to mostly eat food from the food banks which makes it hard to fiquire out how to turn this around. I dont want to end up in the box like mom and dad. They were good people that just barely started learning about all this when they passed. When its my time I want to be the healthiest Ive ever been. Any suggestions in addition to the video would be great.

My enemy is not glucose or sugar. Without these we simply would have no energy. Lots of mis-information about this disease. What I have is an autoimmune disease. My body kills vital insulin producing cells. These islet cells MUST be transplanted and my body prevented from rejecting them yet again. This is the ONLY way to cure this 40 year (juvenile) Type1 diabetics condition. Do your homework guys. Dont believe the hype.
