that was a great video. I like the way you made the sign (very clever). I think the sign just makes it very desirable for someone receiving a gift of one of these with their name on it. I am going to try and make one of these myself. After watching a lot of other videos..your is the best :) . Thanks for sharing

If you put a floor on the roof assembly, drill a hole large enough for a small bird. Making a bird box as well as a wishing well. Bringing a birds wishes come true!

This was great, I have been researching "build a birdhouse youtube" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Daniliana Birdfly Babar - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.

I would like to make the same thing only a little bigger. What equation do I use to get my angles/degrees of cut to make the body of the well?

Nice video.. im just working on a hekagon box? how many pieces of wood makes hexagon and the wider the board the diameter gets
james partridge (5 months ago)
Sorry, but please correct me if I'm wrong....If you use 6 pieces of timber, you must cut the angle @30 deg to make it Hexagonal. (6X30 = 180deg) If you use 8 pieces of timber you use 22.5 deg angle to make it Octagonal (8X22.5 = 180deg)
chilo c (6 months ago)
Thank you. Very much it was helpful
West Cork Woodworks (6 months ago)
chilo c you will need 6 individual pieces to make the hexagon, with 22.5 degree bevel edges. The wider the board, the bigger the box.

You video popped up as a suggested video, soI watched it.  I will start by saying this, I did watch the commercial, (I know how it works) but it was the longest commercial about some cartoon kid in the woods..? It was terrible, I hope they give you a 20 for me having to sit though that. hehehehe. J/K Very nicely done on your video my friend, I love working with the pallet wood projects and I could see this being something fun for the off grid cabin location.  Thanks so much for taking the time to share  this with us, very nicely done from the details to the final edits. Keep up the fun work, look forward to seeing more so we subbed you as well.

Nice project You'll eliminate the camera grain effect by increasing your lighting - better to have a bit too much than not enough, especially with a digital camera. I own 4 for my videos and had to tackle this problem, and still do.

Dan Hodge (8 months ago)
what was that glue you were spraying
West Cork Woodworks (8 months ago)
Hi Dan - That is CA Glue and Activator. Its a very quick drying superglue. Ideal for small areas. Also great when used with normal Wood Glue. The CA Glue acts as an immediate clamp, so you can move on with your project while the wood glue sets.

Gorgeous! Great job! ^5 I have a daughter with Autism who has limited words (but always improving...yay!) and we cannot pass by a wishing well without her noticing AND SAYING "Hi, Wishing Well!" It may be trivial to most, but it sets my soul on fire and ignites such joy! =) I'll be emailing the request for plans and lift a prayer to "wish" me luck! =) Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring me! <3
