"You dropped $150 grand on a f'k education, you could have gotten for $1.50 in late charges at the public library."

Flying cars will lead to anxiety that something is going to fall on your head. For the rest of your life. Cars won't be found on the road, but everywhere. Accidents wouldn't be limited to roads, but could occur anywhere, anytime. It's basically undoable.

Peter Thiel is next level genius. Like Zuckerberg or Carnegie.
DubbleDubbz (6 months ago)
Zuckerberg isn't a genius and nobody at Harvard thinks that. He's just smart, and likes to assert dominance (there's a difference). Thiel is an honest Genius though.

increase he has to be important somehow. I’ve never liked economics as a science student. But what he talks about seems logical and efficient. The whole system seems a bit odd if you think about it. More and more students are struggling getting jobs from inflation after graduation. The whole student loan federal and private corruption that occurred. It’s all cash grab not forward thinking decisions.

But Christianity rules no matter what, legitimate fact.
Nerd Lingo (4 months ago)
Master Mayne Catholic slave, I don't mean to be rude but, haven't you ever wondered why you believe in that religion? You believe, because your parents believed in it, have an open mind and think for yourself. (FYI I was born in a Catholic household, and thought for myself instead of blindly conforming to other's beliefs.)

Christianity hasn't ruled since we rejected it's ideology for our morals, laws and view of life. Which would be in an increasing amount since the enlightenment. You know, when we left the dark ages.

I agree, take the flying car out, but what he says on education is absolutely true. Today, many bright people has stopped thinking or solving real life problems; they are just busy cramming what's on the books a substitute for deep thinking and problem solving.

The part about education was thoughtful. The part about flying cars was stupid. (Instead of developing flying cars, how about concerning oneself with alternative fuel sources, or making cars more fuel efficient? The priorities seem very backward if you cherish being able to drive a car in the sky rather than being able to drive a car dependent on big oil.)

it was just a tagline. Peter has made comments in other debates where he emphasized the importance of energy innovation. Besides, putting "flying cars" in your tagline is more catchy than say "renewable resources"

Very true comments regarding education. However, hard to listen to Ivy League graduates about the down side of college educations.
