10 Most WARNING Signs of Gluten Intolerance

09:00
Gluten intolerance, also called gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease- when it’s in its most severe form- can have symptoms that range from no symptoms to life threatening or debilitating chronic health problems and anywhere in between. Often, these symptoms are not consistent from person to person and this is part of what makes gluten testing or Diagnosing Gluten Sensitivity so difficult for medical professionals. Gluten sensitivity and intolerance can manifest as much more than just IBS-like symptoms and stomach problems. That’s why doctors are more likely to dismiss the idea that you even have this because if they don’t hear about digestive problems as your chief complaint, then it must be something else. More than 55 diseases have been linked to gluten, the protein found in wheat, rye, and barley. It's estimated that 99% of the people who have either gluten intolerance or celiac disease are never diagnosed. But how can you tell if you really are gluten intolerant? For some, eating this mainly wheat-derived protein is just fine, while others experience a full range of symptoms, some of which can make life nightmarish. If you have experienced at least 7 of these 10 symptoms after eating foods containing gluten, it might be time to think about modyfying your diet. Gluten Sensitivity Symptoms and Side Effects

For more on gluten sensitivity: http://draxe.com/gluten-sensitivity-diet/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Sept-2014&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=gluten In this video, I’m going to talk about what gluten sensitivity is, symptoms, and side effects. A few of the warning signs that indicate you are gluten sensitive are digestive issues, food allergies, autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, weight gain, joint pain, arthritis, brain inflammation, ADHD, autism, hypothyroidism, or hormone imbalance. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye that has been hybridized today, resulting in a new breed of gluten. This protein gets into your gut and causes intestinal inflammation, resulting in autoimmune disease and other problems. If you're gluten sensitive and are going gluten free, you can follow the GAPS diet, which supports your digestive system. In addition, taking supplements like L- Glutamine, digestive enzymes, and probiotics will help your body heal from gluten sensitivity. Following these tips you will notice an overall improvement in your gluten sensitivity symptoms! The Yeast Connection by Dr. William G. Crook. Yeast Intolerance vs Gluten.

07:32
I remember some really dumbass comments from people about 18 years ago, after explaining to them why I wasn't having a beer, or the pizza. "I'd rather be dead", people said. All these years later I realize just how serious they were. Often, many if not most people would rather be dead or suffering with chronic dis-ease and the expenses associated, than in making simple, free, lifestyle changes. After years of pain ... pain, our great teacher ... and after years of failed drugs with costs and negative side effects, I found relief to many forms of pain completely outside of the health care system. Knowledge is power, and sometimes all you have to do is read/listen, with an open mind. Rather than worry about what I was giving up, I focused on the positive feelings I'd be integrating into my life. I read the Yeast Connection fast and realized a free experiment would start before completing the book ... great results were dramatic and fast. A note on alcohol ... before somebody calls me out on drinking ... during the past 18 years ... I have had sips/toasts in very small quantities sporadically. In the early months of the yeast free diet, while on vacation, I met a liquor company exec on the beach in the Bahamas. He suggested I try clear liquor, which he theorized would have less yeast or none. In fact, he may have been right ... I had a few shots worth of clear liquor and felt reasonable the next morning ... but the pain hit later in the day ... not as bad as from drinking wine ... but that was near two decades ago and I'm not interested in a non sober life. Here is a link to comments from a nurse who specializes in allergies ... her analysis of clients indicates that yeast issues may greatly outnumber gluten issues. http://www.foodsmatter.com/allergy_intolerance/yeast/articles/roe_yeast_not_wheat.html I suggest people read the book ... this is the newer version that I've not read yet ... https://www.amazon.com/Yeast-Connection-Handbook-Yeasts-Regain/dp/0757000606/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1488373756&sr=8-3&keywords=the+yeast+connection+by+dr+william+crook Little did I know how much deeper into studying food I would go ... but now I'm well over 6 years into an ALL plant based diet. I struggle with making more of my calories come from whole foods, but obviously I avoid yeast or foods likely to have yeast develop, as well as most processed sugar. About ten years ago, after a ten day fasting ... I gave up most dairy ... easy to do, once I realized how much better I felt, particularly my respiratory system. I'm grateful to be feeling well enough at age 54 to be running 100 miles foot races. In my 20's, ten miles seemed too far. Now I'm covering ten times that ... in sandals ... injury free for over five years. This stuff can work. Eliminating foods that cause allergies is just the start ... also eliminate the foods that cause most chronic diseases and early death ... meat, eggs and dairy.

Allergic To Alcohol - Urticaria Alcohol - Alcohol allergy Rash☺

02:46
Get it here: http://bit.ly/1TDFjTb Allergic To Alcohol - Urticaria Alcohol - Alcohol allergy Rash Urticaria Alcohol Urticaria Alcohol is the result of an outbreak of urticaria in response to the consumption of alcohol. The ethanol contained in alcohol can provoke diverse responses in urticaria patients. Chronic urticaria patients should consult a doctor to seek advice on whether they should consume alcohol, as it can affect their skin problems. Anaphylactic reactions to alcohol are rare, and most reactions to alcoholic beverages are secondary to other chemicals in the beverage, such as metabisulfite, papain, dyes, or yeast. However, in some cases, true allergic reactions occur, in which the stimulating agent is ethanol, which results in urticaria alcohol. Most of the time, the symptoms of anaphylaxis appear in such patients following the consumption of beer or wine. Many people experience urticaria rashes after ingesting ethanol. However, there are only a few known cases in which urticaria was triggered due to contact with ethanol. Therefore, patients who are already suffering from urticaria must be careful with their drinking habits because hives can be triggered after drinking alcohol. It is wise to consult a doctor and ask his advice regarding the routine and quantity of liquor that is safe to consume. One of the most commonly opted for treatments is the intake of antihistamine. As the name suggests, antihistamine nullifies the effect of histamine, which is released by the mast cells as a result of stress or the allergic process. Unfortunately, antihistamine medication does not control the underlying causes of histamine release. Therefore, you feel better only when you take antihistamines, as the condition may reappear. P.S. (from Dr. Gary M. Levin, M.D. & Surgeon) I know what you may feel and think - "I am lost! I don't have any chance to get cured etc" - I have heard this numerous times and I must tell you this: I have seen TONS of urticaria & angioedema sufferers get cured at my private clinic and online using my simple method. Candida Overgrowth Signs and Symptoms - Andrea Maxim, ND

50:02
LISTEN IN iTUNES: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/high-intensity-health-radio/id910048041?mt=2&i=354037305 9:59 Why Do Some People’s Immune Systems React More Severely? Reasons could be genetics that make us more sensitive, or possibly the hygiene hypothesis, where we have sanitized our environment. Between the ages of 0 to 2, a child’s immune system needs to be challenged as part of its development. Sanitizing their environment and experience puts their immune system at a disadvantage. When they are exposed later in life, their body is not ready for it. 11:25 The Suppression of Our Immune System: We look at what might be suppressing the immune system: processed sugar, smoking, alcohol, heavy metals, environmental toxins or food sensitivities. Food sensitivities cause an inflammatory response that greatly suppresses the immune system. Antibiotic therapy can cause scrappy bacteria, parasites and viruses to adapt into superbugs, becoming antibiotic and other medication resistant. Our immune system can be improved, but some things are beyond our control. 13:58 How does Yeast Overgrowth Present? Yeast likes to live in your sinus cavities and shows as chronic sinus infections, postnasal drip or brain fog. Rashes in the moist areas of our bodies, or recurrent yeast or urinary tract infections can be yeast related. 14:50 How does Parasite Overgrowth Present? Parasites can present similarly to food sensitivities. With parasites and yeast, your immune system is chronically deficient. You will have lots of colds and flu more frequently than normal. Symptoms for parasites include random itchiness and weird rashes on arms and legs, or for things like pinworms, itching of the anus. Parasites are most active during the full moon and least active around the new moon, so cyclical symptoms may be a clue. 16:22 How do Food Sensitivities Present? It is the most common digestive upset, but it can be skin rashes, joint pain or muscle pain. 16:38 Checking for Yeast and Parasites: Dr. Maxim tries to rule out yeast and parasites because it is so often overlooked and so costly to your body’s resources, immune system, and energy levels. 18:00 How Does Yeast, Parasites and Bacteria Get To Be a Problem? We will always have a little yeast, a little bad bacterium, and a few environmental parasites. The question is what you are doing to your body to have it allow these to overgrow. Often clinicians do not call them infections because it is more of an overgrowth. 18:40 Other Yeast Triggers: Yeast triggers include anything that has yeast in it, like wine or baked goods that rise. Another trigger is tropical fruits, which contain far more sugar than North American grown fruit. 20:43 Triggers in our Supplements: Even xylitol and stevia can impact sugar levels. Also protein powders can have added sugars and other ingredients that may be inflammatory. 21:33 Can We Ever Eat Normally Again? If your immune system is healthy and your overgrowth has been balanced, you can probably consume a trigger food every now and then. Health will ebb and flow. 23:58 Minimizing Alcohol Consumption: One of her patients drank a LOT of beer. When he did her 7 day detox, abstaining from alcohol, he lost 15 pounds. After a month, he lost another 15 lbs. Alcohol is empty calories, and then we don’t usually consume it with healthy fats and proteins, so it turns to sugar in our system. It is easy to overconsume alcohol and avoid healthy foods. Alcoholics are malnourished because the alcohol satisfies their appetite. 27:07 Testing for Candida and Parasites: The organic acids urine test for candida, bacterial and other fungal markers is phenomenal. It also shows how your entire body is functioning. Dr. Maxim also does stool testing. Many of her patients, when suspecting parasites, have been to their doctors and had stool tests that almost always come back negative. Dr. Maxim recommends that patients start a parasite and yeast cleanse a week before testing to coax the parasites and yeast out of the far reaches of the body and into the stool.

Psoriasis is condition that affects the skin. It could cause irritation and dry patches on skin. The patches could appear red and scaly. Does Drinking Beer Cause Jock Itch?

02:01
Can beer cause jock itch? That’s a question I got asked by a guy in Michigan a couple of weeks ago now actually he sent me an email. Erik, I’m drinking quite a bit of beer. I like watching football and baseball and games like that, and I’ve got pretty bad jock itch. Do you think beer is causing my jock itch? Well, hell, yeah. If you’re drinking lots and lots of beer and you have jock itch, it could be one of the primary causes. The only way you’re going to find out is by stop drinking the beer. Maybe the jock itch isn’t bad enough for you to want to make these changes. That’s what you would ask yourself. I had a guy like that recently from Wellington that I saw. I think I may have mentioned his case to you a while ago. I had a guy, a telecommunications worker, driving around in a van. The guy had so bad jock itch, it was just about bringing tears to his eyes, you know, he was scratching that bad and, of course, he’s drinking beer every night. After work, he’s having five or six cans of beer. Well, you just can’t keep doing that. If you’ve got a bad jock itch and you’re drinking beer on a regular basis, you’ve got to stop. It’s the only way you’re going to know if there’s some link between the cause and the effect. Intelligent people will try to stop the effect. They’ll look at the problem they’ve got and see if there’s any causes linked to it, and they’ll try to cut those links. It’s pretty dumb to try to take medical creams for jock itch if you keep doing things that are causing the condition to keep going on and on. It’s pretty dumb. If you are drinking a reasonable amount of beer on a daily basis or you’re drinking quite a lot on the weekends, particularly having a lot of sugary foods with that, and you’ve got bad jock itch, then you want to make that connection there and make that change. And then I think you’re going to find there’s some interesting things that will happen. You’ll probably get a big reduction in the symptoms as well. So give it a go.

What causes yeast infections?

01:51
http://tinyurl.com/o6enpe6 What causes yeast infections? Everyone has yeast in their body. A healthy body has lots of bacteria and very few yeast cells. This is a delicate balance within the body as the good bacteria help keep yeast and other bad bacteria under control. The most abundant "good" bacteria is lactobacillus. This bacteria produces acid that discourages overgrowth of yeast. Candida albicans is the most common strain of yeast within the body and causes most yeast infections. Candida spreads rapidly when something upsets the delicate balance within the body. A yeast infection simply means that too many yeast cells are growing in the body creation a condition know as candidiasis. It can appear in the vagina, on the penis, or as an oral condition around the mouth and tongue known as thrush. What can upset the bacteria/yeast balance within the body? Lots of things. Antibiotics wipe out good and bad bacteria in the body. Clothing that traps heat and moisture can create a breeding ground for yeast. Pregnancy and other things which cause hormone changes can stimulate yeast to grow. There are also lots of things which change body chemistry in the male and female. Douches create problems because the bacteria that cause odor also keep yeast in check. Perfumes and dyes in lots of consumer products ranging from laundry detergent to scented toilet paper. While not techically a sexually transmitted disease, sexual contact with an infected person can cause infection. A little known cause is condoms with spermicide. This affects both men and women as the spermicide kills bacteria on the skin. Diet is a big culprit in yeast infections. Yeast thrives on sugar, so sweet stuff and alcohol causes problems. "Healthy" foods can also be problematic including diets high carbs, fruit and fruit juices. People with diabetes are very succeptible to yeast infections. Things like eggs, apple cider vinegar, oregano oil, garlic, yogurt, fruit, fish, and juice can hurt or help the condition. Find out how to cure candida. Click here: http://tinyurl.com/o6enpe6 Candida is very difficult to control and causes lots of medical problems including: * Increased Craving For Simple Carbohydrates * Constant Tiredness or Fatigue * Itching or Burning Sensation In Your Intimate Parts * Leaky Gut Syndrome * Arthritis * Painful Urination * Sexual Dysfunction or Impotence * Depression or Mood Swings * Irritability * Joint Pain or Swelling * Digestive Pain, Bloating or IBS * Short Attention Span, Blurred Vision Or Brain Fog * Headaches or Constant Migraines * Constipation * Respiratory Infections * Skin Lesions * Shortness of Breath * Food Allergies * Diarrhea * Eczema Without proper holistic treatment yeast infections will come back frequently. Chronic Prostatitis And Candida

04:33
Thanks for joining my video. I've had quite a few YouTube requests for some more videos on Balanitis and Prostatitis. Prostatitis is something I've seen now for a long time in a lot of my male patients. It's actually quite a serious problem, and I think a lot of doctors and urologists underplay prostatitis in terms of the connection with a yeast infection. Many of them, in fact, don't even believe that males can have a yeast infection in the prostate, which I find quite hard to believe. If you've had recurrent antibiotics like many different rounds of antibiotics. If you've had many visits to the urologist and basically nothing comes up or the urologist is sick and tired of seeing you or keeps giving you different drugs and you're not getting your resolution. Or if you've got some of these signs and symptoms that I'm about to read out to you, there's a big chance that you could well have a serious prostatic problem in terms of Candida. Some of these problems here, I'm just going to read them out to you. Pain on or difficulty with urination, blood in the urine, joint pain often moving from joint to joint, unexplained skin rashes, increased food intolerances or allergies, poor sleeping, dry irritated eyes, reduced amount of urine, problems with ejaculation, painful ejaculation, ejaculating where there's blood in the semen, having no interest in sex or pleasure in sex anymore. This is common also in prostatitis. Pain down the sides of the legs. There will be pain down here or around the ball sac, pardon the expression, around the testicle area. There could be pain around there or the perineal area. Often a low-grade chronic pain or a dull pain can be signs of prostatitis. Always catching colds or flus. Blurry vision. These are typical signs of Candida aren't they. Binge eating on sweet foods. Liking beer and pizza. Lots of guys like beer, for example. Beer is the worst kind of stuff for you to drink when you've got prostatitis. I've got a good friend of mine who loves drinking beer. He's an electrician friend of mine. He loves beer and he's got a prostate problem, which he's had for many years. And I know that if he doesn't drink beer, if he switches over to vodka or gin, he has less problem with his prostate than if he drinks plenty of beer. But any alcohol consumption is not a good idea with a yeast infection. As I mentioned, reduced sexual desire, bronchial cough, asthma, problems with sinus, nosebleeds, palpitations, irritable bowel, cold hands, cold feet, sugar cravings, panic attacks, headaches, the list goes on and on and on. There are so many different signs and symptoms of chronic prostatitis. What do you do if you've got chronic prostatitis? Well, if your doctor is giving you no joy at all, and the urologist is looking at you like you're talking some kind of a weird language; it's time for you to have a good think about your case history yourself. Do you have a past history of taking antibiotics? Have you been doctor hopping from one doctor or naturopath to another without any result? Do you have all these concomitant symptoms? By concomitant, I mean do you have all these extra symptoms apart from that pain, burping, bloating, farting, sugar cravings, sleeping problems, sweating. All these sorts of things could be pointing toward prostatitis. What I want you to do is take my yeast infection quiz. Please go to my quiz. You'll find this on CandidaCrusher.com. Do the quiz, find out if you're mild, moderate or severe, and then do my program. You don't have to get my book if you can't afford it, but you're going to get a lot of benefit from it. Go to yeastinfection.org and have a good look at a lot of the articles I've written just for you guys on prostatitis. The big thing is the diet and the lifestyle change. You just have to make these changes. I've seen many patients with chronic prostatitis overcome this problem by making the change. You make the change, the change will occur, so it's really up to you. But don't despair. Just because you've been told that nothing can be done for you, it doesn't mean to say that you need to take this kind of crappy advice. There's always something that can be done. Thanks for tuning in.

Multistrain Sediment Trub - (Accidental Yeast Cross Contamination)

00:49
When I was brewing a batch of Coopers English Bitter, I accidentally managed to add Youngs Super Wine Yeast Compound in error thinking it was just a yeast nutrient. Once the early stages of primary were finished (4 - 5 days), I racked the beer off into a second fermenter and after a couple of days, this was the sediment left behind. Equally as much as was in the initial fermenter before racking off. I don't recall the sediment being like this the previous times I've done this beer. It's a very solid sediment indeed and it took a bit of swirling after I finished shooting this bit of video to get it to dissolve / suspend in the little amount of beer I left behind. This accidental cross contamination or multistrain brew has given some different characteristics to the beer. Having brewed this kit beer a couple of times previously, I can tell you that it didn't ever smell OR taste this good. After shooting this video, I collected all this sediment or trub and transfered it into a clean, sterile bottle and it's now stored in my fridge. More about this particular brew can be found on our forums here: http://drunkenanglers.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=113 Thanks for watching!

What Are The Best Antifungal Foods to Eat?

05:35
Here is a brief description of some of the best anti-fungal foods you can eat. Please be sure to check out the many videos on this channel relating to foods and Candida. I'm just looking at my computer here at a website I've been looking at. I typed in “best antifungal foods” and I found a website and it said here that fresh dates are good as antifungal. Think about that for a minute. Fresh dates. You may as well have a can of beer. Why would you want to have fresh dates for if you've got a yeast problem, if you've got bacteria or Candida in your gut, particularly. Why would you want to put a load of sugar into your tummy? Dates are full of sugar. Best antifungal foods that haven't got high sugar content. You're going to see a lot of websites that say sugar is bad for Candida and you're going to see a lot of other websites that say natural sugar is fine for Candida. I keep trying to get the message time and again in my video that there's basic common sense when it comes to an anti-Candida approach. The best antifungal foods are the ones that aren't going to make you feel sick. They're going to inhibit Candida. Maybe not necessarily kill Candida on contact, but have a strong inhibition or power about them. Dates obviously don't make sense to me. The most powerful antifungal foods can vary slightly from person to person. One food for Mrs. Jones over here may be totally terrible for Mrs. Smith. For example, a long time ago, I used to tell everybody to eat lots of garlic, but I've found there are many people who can't tolerate garlic and it makes them feel sick. They have one small clove, they vomit. Other people can eat 10 cloves. One woman's meat is another woman's poison basically. But the common thread generally that runs through a lot of this is there are foods that a wide range of people can tolerate that are antifungal. Coconut, for example, is one. Most people can tolerate coconut. Coconut oil is supremely antifungal and has very high levels of lauric acid, caprylic acid. It's an excellent adjunct in a Candida diet. I recommend you cook with this oil and you can also add a little bit into salads or on top of vegetables. It works quite well. Curries can be made from coconut crème or coconut milk. Coconut oil can be used in cooking. That's a good start for you. If you can't tolerate raw garlic, try and steam the garlic or add it to food. Adding garlic to food after it's been cooked is better than adding it at the beginning because you're going to lose more of the properties. Fresh ginger is a very good antifungal and it can be successfully used with garlic. One clove of garlic, a small piece of fresh ginger, mince them together and use that on food or cook it, you know, enjoying your food. The woody spices. We've spoken about this in other videos. Many types of woody spices you can have. I'm sure that cardamom seed pods will be antifungal. You've got green cardamom and brown cardamom. They belong to the ginger family. I'm pretty they will have antifungal properties about them. Cinnamon also is an antifungal. Clove, a spice called clove. And there are many other woody spices than can be incorporated into your diet. The fresh herbs. Another excellent adjunct as an antifungal into your diet. There are many of them. I speak about these quite often. Basil, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, oregano. Those five are very, very good to add. I grow all of them and I recommend that you grow them all in your garden or just buy them fresh at your green grocer store. I'm sure you can buy them there and then again incorporate those into your food. Antifungal foods don't necessarily have to be foods that are going to kill Candida. They can also be foods that inhibit Candida. Yogurt is quite a good antifungal food for that reason. Many people can tolerate yogurt perfectly fine. If you can't tolerate the cow or the dairy yogurt, try the coconut yogurt. I tried that one about a week ago and I found it to be fantastic in flavor. It's quite nice. It's coconut yogurt. You can make it yourself. Go on line and find some recipes or you can probably by that one already these days in the shelves. Common sense, people. Common sense prevails when it comes to antifungal. You avoid foods that are pro-fungal and you look at foods that are antifungal. Foods we just mentioned. The brassica class of vegetables are also antifungal to a degree. Broccoli, cauliflower, Chinese vegetables, all of these kinds of foods, brussel sprouts. You can grow them like me or you can purchase them yourself. Again, hopefully, from an organic shop. Check out some of my other videos where I go a little bit more in-depth on some of the antifungal foods to a higher degree. Some videos are specifically tailored, for example, just for one vegetable or one spice. You can get a lot more information out of that.

Diseases such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes are killing people everyday. Thousands of toxins, carcinogens and chemicals are being added to the food we eat as well as what we drink. It’s disturbing to think, the very foundations that are in place to monitor and protect us from such harmful ingredients, have given their stamp of approval; the FDA and the USDA. The Preservatives in These Foods Can Cause Deadly Reactions. Avoid Them at All Costs •Bacon: has a preservative called sodium nitrate. It is also used to retain the red color and add some flavor. It can also be found in ham, corned beef, hot dogs, sausages, luncheon meats, smoked meats, and smoked fish. According to studies, sodium nitrite/nitrate is linked to certain kinds of cancer. Sodium rich foods increases your risk for heart disease, kidney disease and stroke. •Peanut butter: TBHQ can be found in different peanut butter brands. It comes from petroleum and is related to butane. This can be toxic and also cause nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ear, delirium and collapse. It is shown to cause stomach cancer in lab rats, fragment DNA and cause damage to humane lung and umbilical cells. In children it can cause anxiety, restlessness, and intensify the symptoms of ADHD. •Conventional Yogurt and Bread: Polysorbate 60, 65, and 80. Polysorbate 80 are found in dairy products, bread and is even used in many vaccines. Along with polysorbate 80, it is known to be commonly contaminated with 1,4 dioxane which is known to cause cancer in animals. Often derived from petroleum. According to Drugs.com, these are the common side effects: Constipation, cough, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, muscle, joint, back, or stomach pain, nausea or vomiting, pain, swelling, irritation, redness, or bruising at the injection site, unusual tiredness or weakness. Drugs.com lists the following severe side effects of Polysorbate 80. It is recommended that you seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these side effects: severe allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue), blurred vision or vision changes, chest pain, confusion, fainting, fast or irregular heartbeat, flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, sore throat), one-sided weakness, pale skin color, redness, tenderness, or swelling of the calf, seizures, severe diarrhea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, or vomiting, severe or persistent tiredness or weakness, slurred speech, sudden pain or numbness of an arm or leg, sudden shortness of breath, sudden trouble walking or loss of balance, swelling of the arms or legs, vision or speech problems, weight gain. •Chips: Propyl gallate is a preservative that is used to prevent fats and oils from spoiling. It is often used together with BHA and BHT. It is often found in breakfast cereals, vegetable oil and shortening, mayonnaise, chicken soup base, meat products, candies, chewing gum, and frozen dairy products. Studies show that propyl gallate has been linked to cancer, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, liver and kidney damage, and gastric irritation, infertility, and immunosuppressant. BHT/BHA liver and kidney problems, BHA possible carcinogen •Juice: Benzoic acid prevents the growth of mold, yeast, and some bacteria. Questions & Answers 216 - Folliculitis, Food Allergies, Fasting, Living on Fruits

01:56:59
Questions & Answers 216 08:04- Gavin -- My question is that for about 8 years now I have been suffering of folliculitis of the scalp. What began as small pimples in anisolated area, eventually over time spread to pretty much the whole crown of my head, and now I have a raised red scar, which is apparently due to the destruction of the hair follicle, and I'm not beginning to see hair loss around the crown of my head. 20:14- Christa -- I have gone through all 12 Detox kits, and I am still taking Stomach & Bowels #3, Kidneys, Lymphatic, Adrenal, Parasite, Brain and Nerve and many others since June 2013. I am mainly on fruits and berries and salads, steamed vegetables, and some soaked nuts in the evening. I am very thin and can't eat less. I do get so hungry at times. I live in cold Canada so I have to keep warm. I am in my 60's and had severe eczema as a baby. I had dairy and meat for most of my life, but ate very "health conscious" for most of it. 31:48- Betty -- What causes food allergies? How does protein affect the Kidneys? Does the Lymphatic system drain into the venous system, or the kidneys? How do the Adrenal control the Kidneys? Can you get a rash from the fluctuation in blood sugar from eating just fruit? 42:51- Emily -- Please talk about weaning oneself from a pharmaceutical medication for high blood pressure. I take Amlodipine 5MG since November. I have been 80/20 taking an adrenal glandular, kelp and herbal formulas. With all my heart, thank you for your loving kindness, your foreverness. 50:45- Mary -- How can one live on fruit alone, no herbs or greens? Will I become deficient? What is your take on this? 1:00:09- Gabe -- I have a questions regarding fasting. I have tried fruits, berries, and melons for a while now and don't see much sediment in my urine. I don't see much sediment with water fasting for 3 days at a time here and there, but I do see a lot of sediment with dry fasting once a week for 36 hours. Is dry fasting for 36 hours once per week healthy? I also don't understand why I get sediment with dry fasting, but not water fasting? Please let me know what goes on during a dry fast that causes filtering over a water fast. 1:07:47- Shannon -- My husband had a crainionotomy 12 years ago. The last 2 years his head has been pussing and we couldn't find a doctor that would even touch his head. They would just say here are antibiotics and pain meds. The antibiotics never help and he kept telling them that. He gave up and quit going. I found a doctor that sent him to a neurosurgeon and was told he has an infection inside his head. He has a MRI and CAT scan to make sure the infection hasn't reached his skull bone. What herbs can I use to help him with the infection and after surgery for healing? 1:14:42- Claire -- You talk about young souls and old souls. What's the difference and how would a new soul be 'born' or created? And if all matter and atoms are already in existence, what then are souls made of? 1:30:16- Linda/Chuck -- I have been on your herbs for over 4 months now. I started filtering at around 2-3 months. I have bad head and sinus congestion and large polyps. Cold hands and feet and when I drink beer my face gets very pale. What are your thoughts on that? Also, I was using infrared sauna a lot trying to sweat it out. After listening to you I stopped, hopefully not to late. Plus what's your opinion on hot tubs (chlorine) 1:33:39- Sarah -- I am eating a raw food diet, which is predominantly fruit. I eat fruit all day and a salad at night. For my dressing I like to mix tomatoes and avocado, but I am not sure whether half of an avocado a day is too much. I have started including avocado because its winter and a little fat seen to suit me well. I was previously eating only high water content fruits and no salad, but when winter came I began to lose weight so I started including them again. I am not sure whether to continue using avocado because its not very cleansing and its very high in fat, and I do not want to become a high fat raw foodist as it seems to cause a lot of problems for those who attempt it. 1:38:58 - Revolutionman2012 -- My wife suffers from "Depersonalization" I was wondering to hear of any health suggestions you may have for her. We would really appreciate it. We send our love your way. 1:46:22- FlyingWithHorsesUK -- I have a question regarding an equine fatal condition called 'grass sickness' which sadly took the life of my best friend, the majestic white Horse, Joseph, last week. Little is know about this condition, which is most prevalent in the UK. It's thought that a form of ingested neuro-toxin causes gut paralysis, leading to colic & emaciation, and eventually death within a week in 95% of cases. What can we give our horses herbally to help with neuro-toxic reactions, which lead to gut paralysis to help improve recovery?

Maritime Beer Report - June 5, 2015

05:50
Hello and welcome to the June 5th edition of Maritime Beer Report. Big Axe Brewery says just in time for the camping season, Big Axe is serving up Hatchet blonde ale, weighing in at 4.6% ABV that they say is "light and refreshingly hoppy". Distillerie Fils du Roy released their spring beer, Stella Maris is now available from their small store in Petit-Paquetville in 750 ml bottles. Stella Maris mean in Latin Sea Star and it’s the name of the star in the Acadian Flag. Their inspiration is from the French beer style called ‘’Bière de Garde’’ that can be translated as ‘’Beer to Keep’’. It’s a malty sweet made from French malt and French hops, the beer has 7.5% ABV. Picaroons Traditional Ales says Melonhead is back and they would like to introduce Sir Winston Snaggletooth (c/o Jordan Stephens). Melonhead is now on tap at the brewtique in Downtown Fredericton, and will be on the shelves at Alcool NB Liquor now. Breton Brewing is waiting for art work to officially announce their beer names but has shared them with us in the meantime. Their three initial beers are Black Angus IPA, Stirling Hefeweizen and Sons of Hector Brown Ale. Looking forward to their opening later this month. Remember this is our secret. Garrison Brewing Company has been hinting at their collaboration for months now. What I can tell you it is an Imperial ESB with Phillips Brewing, Flying Monkey Brewing and Trou du Diable. It will be at the Back lot bash next week end but no time frame on when it will be hitting the brewery and the NSLC, but the are saying this month. Great Lakes Brewery did a collaboration yesterday with Garrison. It is very secretive and I haven't got any details yet. Garrison did another collaboration recently, see Meander River news. Good Robot Brewing Company says on Sunday, they officially release their Crown on the Ground steam beer. From Good Robot "Steam beer brewers traditionally used lager (cold-fermenting, crisp) yeast but lacked the funds for proper cooling equipment, so they let the cool San Francisco harbour winds chill the beer naturally. In other words, a steam beer is a common man's lager, a crisp tribute to Americana and music festivals, something to drink all day in the sun or the Chevy Suburban while jamming to malt-rock bands." On Sunday, they'll be playing tunes in the driveway, Halifax Press will be on site, and there will be games they played at those original festivals. Hell Bay Brewing Company says OPA (oatmeal pale ale) is available this week at the brewery and on tap at select bars. This is a very drinkable ale, crisp hop profile, at 5% ABV and 49 IBUs. Meander River Farm has a new release. Summer solstice IPA 4.5% ABV. A balanced hoppy flavour and aroma from Amarillo, Citra hops and dry hopped with Cascade. It was releasing at the Taste of Nova Scotia 12 Tides event. Look for it at Stillwell and on tap at the brewery all weekend. Daniel Girard from Garrison Brewing and brewmaster Alan Bailey are putting their heads together to brew a Strong Scotch Ale with seaweed, peated malt and other special ingredients. A unique brew for "Dinner on the Ocean Floor" with the The Flying Apron Cookery and Avondale Sky Winery, put on by Taste of Nova Scotia. More details as I get them. On the heels of North Brewing Company and Brooklyn Warehouse's beer dinner during Nova Scotia craft beer they announced a new beer-centric restaurant. They have bought the space where Nectar currently resides which is closing this month. Propeller Brewing Company launched their newest One Hit Wonder Series - Point Pleasant Pale Ale.From Propeller "This single hopped, crisp and balanced brew is true to the American Pale Ale style. Solely Columbus hops were used for the bittering and aroma additions of this brew, and we feel it displays this hop at its best. Enjoy this sessionable Craft Brew!" It is a 27 IBUs and 5% ABV beer. Sea Level Brewing released its seasonal Apple Blossom Ale. This is made annually in celebration of the Apple Blossom Festival in the Annapolis Valley. It is made with Maritime Malt, California ale yeast, a hop called Calypso, and infused with apple flavour. It is a light 4.8% ABV and available now in cans or kegs. Limited time only. Stillwell's Beer Garden is near completion. co-owner Christopher Reynolds is hoping to have a soft-opening on Sunday. Watch their social media for announcements. The long awaited taps at Bishops Cellar are on the way. The growler fill station's fridge has shipped and construction will start in-store next week. They estimate they will be pouring 5 local brews in just over 2 weeks. Thanks for supporting me again this week and until next time, enjoy responsibly.

Candida Case Study: 5 Gerry with Jock Itch

http://www.canxida.com/ - Premium Range of Dietary Supplements for Candida Yeast Infections. This is going to be another case history, and I'm going to read a little bit more out of my book and talk along that. This is case number five. This is a guy called Gerry. Gerry's a 36-year-old male. He's a mechanic and he's also a security guard. He moonlights as a security guard and he's a really nice guy, and he's had really bad heartburn and jock itch and a few other problems. Gerry is a single man. He never married and works as a factory security guard, and he used to be a mechanic, but he does them both a bit. He came to see me some time ago complaining of jock itch, athlete's foot, heartburn and major fatigue, and was sent in by a lady friend who I helped get rid of her yeast infection. Gerry's hobby is stock car racing, which takes up a lot of his spare time and he spends many hours in his garage tinkering with his cars that include a lot of welding and grinding, as well as general mechanical work. Most afternoons during the week, as well as every weekend and at nights, he does his security work. He mentioned that he wears coveralls for several hours a day. And when I questioned him about his diet, it was what I expected. Fast foods that have been nutritionally depleted and over processed. Gerry routinely skipped breakfast, having a cigarette and a coffee instead. For lunch, he would go through the drive through to a fast food restaurant, deep fried chicken, pizzas or burgers, and his evening meal always consisted of a TV dinner, ice cream, and a few cans of beer. Does that sound familiar? Do you know anyone like that? Sometimes I watch football or baseball, and I'll sit down with a can of beer. I think the one I see on American TV is Budweiser. Budweiser is the big beer. The blue-collar beer, I think they call it. Is it any wonder he has a major yeast infection? I mean look at this guy's lifestyle. He's got his groin covered all the time. He's got clothes on that keep the heat in the area and the moisture in the area. He's drinking foods containing sugar and yeast. This is a red flag for a yeast infection. The first change I recommended to Gerry, of course, was to get rid of the coveralls and to wear 100 percent cotton loose fitting clothing around the groin region, 100 percent cotton socks, and to remove them and go barefoot whenever he could. Obviously, not around the tools, but when he could go barefoot to let air and sun around the feet. Gerry had developed the habit of keeping his socks on from early morning until almost bedtime when he was having his bath. I notice that those with athlete's foot also tend to wear shoes, boots, and socks for prolonged periods of time, so when you can, kick them off. I asked Gerry if he could shower daily at the very least, but preferably twice a day. Twice a day is the norm for jock itch. And if it's really bad, I ask people to come home and have a shower at lunchtime as well. He's to shower once on rising and again after work and again once before bed if he wants to get the maximum result. I recommended the use of tea tree oil soap and shampoo because they're very good antifungal personal care products. But the biggest challenge for this guy, what do you think it was? It was having whole foods and a fresh diet to get away from that crap. The first thing I tried to get him to do is to switch from takeout food more to kebobs and Subway kind of food. Like more green stuff. A little bit less of the white stuff and a bit more of the green stuff. This was a good move in the right direction. And to slowly get him away from soda drinks onto juices, from juices onto sparkling water, and generally into the direction of just plain water, maybe herbal teas. It can take a long time for a guy like Gerry to make the change. But once they make changing an improvement, they'll usually generally progress in that area. The other thing I recommended to him was a multivitamin, of course, and a good antifungal product. Lots of blue-collar guys out there that work in factories, that are mechanics, that are plumbers, we call them “tradees” in New Zealand, so “tradees” are the tradesmen or tradeswomen. People that work in trade professions. They can sometimes where clothing that can be very conducive for a yeast infection. They can work long, hard hours. They can work in confined spaces, hot spaces, under a lot of pressure. And then, of course, when they come home, they're tired. They want to have a cold beer or a glass of wine. They want to relax. They're too exhausted to cook food. They'll have a quick TV dinner in the microwave or some takeaway food.
