Magical drink to reduce cholesterol in 2 weeks. With Only Half Cup A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! With Only 3 Tablespoons A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by your body and found in certain foods. Your body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly, but having too much (high cholesterol) puts you at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. The extra cholesterol that isn’t used by your body builds up in blood vessel walls, causing blockages. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having high cholesterol doubles your risk of heart disease. Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglycerides  LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body.) The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. They’re also fairly straightforward and can be done at any age. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats. Quit smoking. It’s important to remember that everyone is different. Family history and whether or not you have other conditions, such as diabetes, plays a role in your individual risks. Talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels and ask what he or she thinks your numbers should be. how to reduce cholesterol quickly how to lower cholesterol without medication lower cholesterol diet how to lower your cholesterol in 2 days supplements to lower cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally home remedies foods to avoid with high cholesterol how to control cholesterol in indian diet how to prevent heart attack with food how to prevent heart attack naturally how to avoid heart attack while sleeping how to prevent heart attack when alone how to prevent a heart attack while it's happening how to prevent heart attack at night how to prevent heart attack from happening how to avoid heart attack symptoms how to prevent a stroke naturally foods that prevent stroke how to stop a stroke in progress how to prevent a stroke after a mini stroke how to prevent a stroke aspirin how to prevent a stroke or heart attack how to prevent a stroke from happening again stroke prevention diet To view more, click here: https://goo.gl/ONjJau SUBSCRIBE: Click here: https://goo.gl/wsOEBM Connect with me on: Email: muskaanhamad@gmail.com Muskaan Science Academy: https://goo.gl/ndG6eG Google Plus: https://goo.gl/6bNOp4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/muskaan.hamad Blog: http://beautyandmakeuptips2016.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: https://naturalhomeremedies.tumblr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muskaanhamad/ Vine: Search "Muskaan Hamad" on vine! What is the BEST DRINK to LOWER CHOLESTEROL? LOWER Your CHOLESTEROL NATURALLY By Drink this DRINK!

11:12
Drinks to Lower Cholesterol. High levels of bad cholesterol and total cholesterol increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. Total cholesterol takes into account levels of both low-density lipoprotein, or bad cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein, or good cholesterol. According to the Mayo Clinic, your diet plays a critical role in reducing cholesterol levels. Adding particular beverages to your diet may be beneficial. Green Tea Green tea contains the highest levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, several studies show that this beverage can lower LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. It also boosts levels of HDL cholesterol, which sweeps bad cholesterol from your arteries. Researchers believe that green tea’s polyphenols inhibit absorption of cholesterol in the intestines and enhance its excretion from your body. Berry Juice Berries help reduce blood cholesterol levels, but some are more effective than others. In a study conducted by the University of California at Davis, researchers found that fresh berries significantly decreased LDL cholesterol. Blackberries were the most effective, followed by red raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. More research is needed to determine the amount of berries or juice people should consume to lower cholesterol. However, drinking more berry juice on a regular basis may be beneficial. Tart Cherry Juice Tart cherries are loaded with antioxidants that provide several benefits, including reducing cholesterol levels. In a study conducted at the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center, rats that received whole tart cherry powder as part of a high-fat diet had significantly lower levels of cholesterol than other rats. Cherry juice is readily available at supermarkets and natural health stores. However, you can also make your own at home using dried cherries or cherry powder. Ginger Tea Ginger has been used medicinally for centuries to treat health problems such as nausea and diarrhea. Preliminary studies also indicate that it may also help lower cholesterol and prevent atherosclerosis, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, which recommends not consuming more than 4g of ginger daily. Caution While green tea and ginger tea are generally safe, in some cases they may cause side effects. For instance, drinking too much green tea may cause insomnia, dizziness or irritability. Ginger tea may cause heartburn or stomach upset. Also, these drinks can interact with certain medications. Consult your doctor about consuming these drinks to control your cholesterol levels.

How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer

08:06
Please Be Sure to Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week! http://www.thomasdelauer.com How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer... Good vs. Bad Cholesterol: LDL cholesterol is not bad. HDL is not cholesterol and neither is LDL. “High” and “low” refer to the relative proportion of protein to fat in the bundle. HDL stands for High Density Lipoprotein. LDL stands for Low Density Lipoprotein. (There are three other lipoproteins; chylomicrons, VLDL and IDL) Cholesterol and fat are not water-soluble so they need to be carried around the body in something to do their vital work. The carriers of such substances are called lipoproteins. (4) Lipoproteins: Lipoproteins travel round the bloodstream and act as transporters. So LDL and HDL are carriers of cholesterol, as well as triglycerides and phospholipids and proteins. LDL is the carrier of fresh cholesterol and HDL is the carrier of recycled cholesterol. VLDL, LDL, and HDL: The liver is central to the regulation of cholesterol levels in the body. Not only does it synthesize cholesterol for export to other cells, but it also removes cholesterol from the body by converting it to bile salts and putting it into the bile where it can be eliminated in the feces. Chylomicrons and VLDL deliver TAG to cells in the body. Two types of lipoproteins are triglyceride-rich: the chylomicrons and VLDL. Chylomicrons are synthesized by enterocytes from lipids absorbed in the small intestine. VLDL is synthesized in the liver. The function of these lipoproteins is to deliver energy-rich triacylglycerol (TAG) to cells in the body (pink pathway). TAG is stripped from chylomicrons and VLDL through the action of lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that is found on the surface of endothelial cells. HDL is involved in reverse cholesterol transport. Excess cholesterol is eliminated from the body via the liver, which secretes cholesterol in bile or converts it to bile salts. The liver removes LDL and other lipoproteins from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis. It travels in the circulation where it gathers cholesterol to form mature HDL, which then returns the cholesterol to the liver via various pathways. LDL delivers cholesterol to cells in the body. As VLDL particles are stripped of triacylglycerol, they become more dense. These particles are remodeled at the liver and transformed into LDL. The function of LDL is to deliver cholesterol to cells, where it is used in membranes, or for the synthesis of steroid hormones. Cells take up cholesterol by receptor-mediated endocytosis. LDL binds to a specific LDL receptor and is internalized in an endocytic vesicle. Receptors are recycled to the cell surface, while hydrolysis in an endolysosome releases cholesterol for use in the cell. LDL is what we call a carrier protein, and one of its important jobs is to carry a fundamentally important chemical to every cell in the body. This chemical is a critical component of cell membranes, serves as a brain antioxidant, and is the raw material from which your body manufactures vitamin D, cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Study - The British Medical Journal (BMJ): The research team — comprised of experts from seven different countries — evaluated data collected from 19 studies on a total of 68,094 older adults. The team was seeking to determine if LDL cholesterol is associated with death in the older adults. According to the cholesterol hypothesis, it should directly relate. According to the BMJ study, it doesn’t. Researchers say almost 80 percent of the participants in the studies who had high LDL cholesterol did not die because of their cholesterol level. On the other hand, researchers discovered people with low levels of LDL cholesterol, or LDL-C, had the highest rates of death related to cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. 2 Best Exercises For Lowering Cholesterol

04:29
See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourCholesterolBy30Points =============================== 2 Best Exercises For Lowering Cholesterol =============================== The best part is that it requires no money and can be done anywhere, anytime... But before I start with the exercises, I want to first discuss the REAL CAUSE of high cholesterol… something that most doctors don’t know Back in 1998 my parent’s blood work both showed high cholesterol levels. To make a long story short, we tried everything… Cholesterol lowering “statin” drugs - but these just had a ton of negative side-effects, as I’m sure you know. Change in lifestyle -- better diet, exercise, rest, etc.. -- this did help in the long-run, but it requires a lot more discipline and sacrafices Supplements, herbs and vitamins - most were just a waste of time and money. Only about 6-7 key ingredients had a magical effect. And I’ll tell you which ones at the end of this short presentation What I discovered through all of these things we tested is that the real cause of high cholesterol is genetics and the change in your HORMONES due to AGING! And this is why the older we get, the higher the cholesterol levels. And why women who go through menopause, all of a sudden have high cholesterol… Again, the change in hormones. And this is why teenagers and people in their 20’s rarely have cholesterol problems and yet, they live a very unhealthy life-style. Exercise And this is where the correct type of exercise can make improvements in your “youth hormones”, which will eventually cause an improvement in your cholesterol and lipid levels. One of the best ways to improve your “youth” hormones and help reverse aging, is by utilizing “resistant exercise”. Basically, lifting weights! This can be done with free weights, cables, machines or even your own bodyweight. Thus, this can be done almost anywhere, anytime -- no machines or gyms. When you lift weights, you increase testosterone, growth hormones, thyroid hormones and other “youth” hormones, which naturally help “fix” many health problems over time -- one of them being high cholesterol. And don’t worry, you’re not going to get “buffed” out - especially women. That’s just genetics and lots of steroids. Walking The next best exercise is walking. Again, you can do it anywhere, anytime. Walking is great because it is AEROBIC (with oxygen), while lifting weights is ANAEROBIC (without oxygen). You need both. The REAL benefit with walking is that it helps lower your stress hormones, such as cortisol -- which is an “aging” hormone. As far as how much, how often and how long? Start off lifting weights 3x a week, 20-45 min max. That’s all you need. And walk 3-4x weekly, 20-45 min. Start low and build up over time. You can do your walking and lifting weights on the same day or on alternate days … or whenever. What’s important is that you just do it! The Unprecedented Reduction of LDL Cholesterol: Top 10 Medical Innovations 2018

01:17
Low-density lipoprotein (“LDL”) cholesterol is known as bad cholesterol, bringing about fatty deposits that can clog arteries. With certain new drug combinations, LDL levels are reduced by 75 percent. While this stat is remarkable, many patients and doctors wonder how low is too low? A number of trials have been in progress recently testing this theory. So far, the floor has yet to be found. New studies reported a 20 percent reduction in the risk of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction or stroke for patients who took statins combined with a new class of cholesterol-lowering drugs (PCSK9 inhibitors) to reach ultra-low LDL levels.

6 SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL

05:02
Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. But sometimes high cholesterol depends on our genes. About 1 in 500 people have a specific genetic mutation that leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in their blood. These people suffer from high cholesterol regardless of their lifestyle. if you suspect that you may have high cholesterol then please start eating a healthy diet and get levels checked out at the hospital. Cholesterol Levels Chart Explanation - HDL and LDL cholesterol

04:23
In this video, you will find out what is the optimum cholesterol level and how HDL and LDL should be balanced. And if you want to discover a proven way to lower cholesterol naturally, click this link: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/cholesterolchart-choleslo And if you want to watch another video called "What is a normal cholesterol level?", click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1TEIwTUaeQ =============================================== Cholesterol Levels Chart - Balance between HDL and LDL =============================================== Hi … this is Dr. Sam Robbins Today’s question is from Debbie and she asks “Can you please explain and simplify the cholesterol numbers and charts?” This is a good question because I think we should all know more about how our body works because nobody will care more about your health than you will. First we have your “Total Cholesterol” numbers, which is the sum of all the cholesterol in your blood. As you can see from the chart, your goal should be less than 200mg/dL. However, I’d like to point out that I personally believe that anything less than 150mg/dL is TOO LOW! And yes, your cholesterol can be “too low” and I think that’s just as bad as “too high”, which is over 240mg/dL What most people don’t know or understand, is that your body NEEDS cholesterol and it has many important functions, such as: ● Producing your “sex hormones”, such as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, DHEA and similar “youth” hormones ● Utilizing Vitamin D and other fat-soluble vitamins, which help your bones, nerves, metabolism, skin elasticity, strong immunity and so forth. ● Proper brain function, memory, cognition, balancing dopamine, serotonin and other “feel good” neurotransmitters. And this is a major problem with cholesterol lowering “statin” drugs and why they cause: ● Impotence ● Memory loss ● Accelerated aging ● Depression ● Etc. In a minute I’ll show you how you can easily improve your cholesterol levels naturally, WITHOUT the use of these harmful drugs or a restrictive diet. However, what I’d like to point out is that what matters most is the CORRECT BALANCE in your lipid levels, which is what I want to talk about next and that’s your HDL/LDL ratios... =HDL= First I’d like to start with your HDL, which is short for “high density lipoprotein”. Your HDL is considered the "good" cholesterol because it can help decrease the cholesterol buildup in the walls of your arteries, that causes narrowing of their openings. Generally speaking, the higher your HDL, the better. For example, after giving my mom some specific herbs that I’ll tell you about in a minute, I was able to raise her “good” HDL from 52 mg/dL to 94 mg/dL Her cardiologist and I are very happy because sometimes my mom’s TOTAL cholesterol goes in the “borderline high” range (200-239 mg/dL). However, we’re okay with that because her “good” HDL is so high and thus, very protective. =LDL= Lastly, I’d like to finish with your LDL, which is short for “low density lipoprotein”. Your LDL is considered the "bad" cholesterol because the risk of heart disease goes up if you have high levels of LDL. So you want this to be LOW This is basically the OPPOSITE of what HDL does. =Summary= Remember, your goal is to have healthy cholesterol levels between the range of 150-200 mg/dL. Too LOW is just as bad as too HIGH. And what matters most with your cholesterol numbers is your HDL/LDL ratios. You want your “good” HDL to be high and “bad” LDL to be low. A good way to remember this is the “H” in HDL for HIGH and “L” in LDL for LOW. I hope this video was helpful and gave your more clarity. If you’d like more information on about this topic, please subscribe to this Youtube channel because I’ll be making more highly researched videos aimed at keeping your entire body and mind healthy, so you can look and feel young! 🍐 Most Powerful Fruit Lowers Your Cholesterol In Only 7 Days - Clinically Proven!

Discover the REAL cause of high cholesterol and a simple formula my parent’s have used since 1999 to lower their cholesterol naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/CholesterolSecret Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodsForCholesterol References: 1. https://www.avocadocentral.com/nutrition/avocado-nutrition-health-facts-label 2. Arch. med. Res. 1996:27(4);519-523 3. Journal of the American Heart Association 2015; 4:e001355 4. http://www.naturalnews.com/029202_olive_oil_smoke_point.html ======================================= 🍐 Avocado - The Most Powerful Fruit To Lower Your Cholesterol In Only 7 Days - Clinically Proven! ======================================= Now if you’ve been following my work, watching my videos or reading my articles, you’d know that I’m not a big fan of fruit because of the sugar content. This is because the fructose sugar in fruits, can actually increase your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while also increasing your risk for diabetes. All bad for your heart. Anyway, if fruit isn’t really that good for your health - then why am I promoting “fruit” in today’s topic? Well, the fruit I’m referring to is an Avocado! Now, most people call it a vegetable because it’s green. However, the avocado is technically a fruit, and even more specifically, a single-seeded berry. Personally, I categorize an avocado under FATS because one medium size avocado (150 grams) has about1: 240 calories 12 calories (3 grams) from protein 12 calories (3 grams + 9 grams fiber) from carbohydrates 216 of calories (24 grams) being from fat (90% of the calories) Now, the TYPE of fat is the key to avocado’s “cholesterol lowering” secret and I’ll get to that in a minute. As far as clinical proof for improving your cholesterol… One study2 saw a 16% decrease in total cholesterol after only 7 days of a diet high in monounsaturated fat from avocados and a 22% decrease of both the “bad” LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides, along with an 11% increase the “good” HDL cholesterol. In a second study3, the participants saw an average drop of 14 points in “bad” LDL cholesterol with a higher avocado diet The “Secret” Heart-Healthy Fat Now, the reason for avocado’s working so well is that 66% of the fat is from monounsaturated fats!1 Most people like olive oil as the main source of monounsaturated fats. However, I don’t because most olive oil is rancid and processed. It’s “fake”. Most of the healthier, “extra virgin oils” break down at a lower heat temperature and thus, it’s best kept UNCOOKED and eaten raw. My favorite monounsaturated fat to cook with is macadamia oil because it’s not processed very much and also has a high heat capacity, so it’s great for cooking.4 Summary So if you want a healthier heart and lower your cholesterol, decrease your sugars and increase healthy monounsaturated fats from my favorite heart-healthy fruit, an avocado! ======================================== Thank you for watching. What Is LDL Cholesterol And Why It's Called The BAD Cholesterol

04:02
►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourCholesterol - See how my parents lowered their cholesterol 100% naturally and how you can do the same starting today! =============================================== What Is LDL Cholesterol Why Is It Bad And How Can I Lower It Quickly And Naturally?? =============================================== A comprehensive lipid panel or “Cholesterol” blood test, provides information about the amount of cholesterol carried by different lipoproteins in your blood. There are 5 major types of lipoproteins; -Chylomicrons (ky-lo-mi-crons) typically triglycerides -very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), -intermediate-density lipoprotein (IDL), -low-density lipoprotein (LDL) -high-density lipoprotein (HDL). Today I’m going to quickly cover your LDL, which is called low-density lipoprotein because LDL particles tend to be less dense than other kinds of cholesterol particles. This type of cholesterol is produced primarily by your liver, which is an important fact for you to know and I’ll tell you why in a few seconds... Now, this LDL cholesterol and is very important in the creation of cell walls, your hormones, and digestive juices. So, LDL is needed for a healthy body. Unfortunately, LDL is also known as the “Bad Cholesterol” because when your LDL level is high, it can start to form a plaque-like substance on the walls of your cardiovascular system (arteries and veins), blocking the natural flow of blood and leaving you at severe risk for a heart attack and stroke As seen in the chart presented in the video! Your goal is to have “lower” LDL levels, which is the OPPOSITE of HDL (high-density lipoprotein)... and I’ll cover HDL in a different video. An easy way to remember this is to think of the “L” in LDL as LOW and the “H” in HDL as HIGH And thus your goal is to have lower LDL and higher HDL How To Lower Your “Bad’ LDL Cholesterol A proper diet and exercise will help improve your LDL levels…. And i’ll discussed these two topics in detail in a different video. But what’s important to know is that as stated earlier, most of your cholesterol is made in your liver (80%)… and NOT from the foods you eat. Now, this doesn’t mean you can go eat pizza and ice cream every day…. But most people are doing the WRONG things to improve their cholesterol levels And this is why most of us aren’t getting the positive results we expect And we’re frustrated with the lack of results and sadly, we give up and take harmful medications. I know this because this is exactly the problems I ran into with lowering my parent’s cholesterol, levels back in 1998 I talk about this in further detail in a special video that you can click to watch in the description area below this video. How To Lower Cholesterol Without Medication

Lower Your Cholesterol Without Medication: http://infousa1.com/lower-cholesterol-without-medication Visit The Webpage Now. This video provides info to answer the question How To Lower Cholesterol Without Medication? Choose The Link Options To Visit That Website Now. What is cholesterol? A very simple explanation is that cholesterol is a waxy, fat like, substance. It is predominately found within the bodies of humans and many animals. It is in our bloodstream and throughout our body's cells. We need cholesterol to help our brain, skin, and other organs grow and work the way they should. The liver makes cholesterol for the body. Plus, people also add excess cholesterol into their bodies through the foods that they choose to eat. Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) is considered the “bad” cholesterol because too much of it can turn into a thick, hard deposit called plague. It can clog arteries which can lead to many health problems including a heart attack or stroke. High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) is considered “good” cholesterol because it actually helps to remove the LDL cholesterol. So the real objective is not just simply lowering cholesterol. It is to maintain a good level of HDL. While reducing the presence of the LDL in you blood system. And, just like many things with our health, diet plays a very important role. There are foods that can help you do this naturally without drugs. Here are 5 that you will see over and over again. Oatmeal: Switching up your breakfast to regularly having a bowl of plain oatmeal can lower LDL cholesterol. Whole oats have a substance that absorbs the LDL. Your body then excretes it. Blueberries: There has been research that suggests blueberries may actually turn down the liver's production of cholesterol in your body Salmon, Tuna Mackerel, Trout: Omega-3 has numerous health benefits to the brain, heart, joints, and more. But on the topic of cholesterol Omega-3 has been shown to significantly increase the HDL while simultaneously lowering LDL. Walnuts, Almonds, Pistachios: Walnuts are high in a type of acid that has been shown to reduce LDL plague build up. A study showed pistachios lowers total and LDL cholesterol and can reduce the risk of diabetes-related disease in the arteries. Another study showed the more almond that were eaten the lower LDL dropped. Black Beans: Beans are also considered a Super Food. And there are many other health beneficial beans. But black beans have the richest source of soluble fiber which is a proven LDL cholesterol lowering agent. Exercise: Yes... there's just no escaping it. When it comes to health, you have to move your body. Exercise has been proven to lower cholesterol. 9 Foods You Should Eat to Lower Bad Cholesterol (LDL)

16:15
High Cholesterol Treatment With 5 Natural Herbs A high LDL cholesterol level is medically known as hypercholesterolemia. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over one-third of American adults have high levels of LDL or bad cholesterol. This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and heart attacks. People of all ages, ethnicities and genders can have high cholesterol. Please note: The content provided below and elsewhere on this video is not intended nor should it be construed as providing professional medical or nutritional advice. Do not rely on information provided on this video for your health problems. instead, consult a qualified medical professional for advice. Here are the top 10 super foods to lower cholesterol. 01:02 Oatmeal 02:05 Almonds 03:09 Orange Juice. 04:07 Salmon 05:06 Soybeans and Soy Products. 06:06 Green Tea. 07:06 Olive Oil. 08:06 Avocados. 09:06 Garlic. 10:06 Dark Chocolate. Having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast daily is another easy way to lower your high cholesterol level. The high soluble fiber content in oatmeal helps lower LDL. It reduces the absorption of cholesterol into your bloodstream. Fiber also fills you up quickly and helps you avoid mindless eating. The heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and fiber in almonds help raise good HDL cholesterol and reduce the bad LDL levels. A 2011 study published in Nutrition Review found that consumption of tree nuts like almonds help reduce LDL cholesterol, a primary target for coronary disease prevention, by 3 to 19 percent. In addition, a 2015 study published in the Journal of American Heart Association states that daily almond consumption may be a simple dietary strategy to prevent the onset of cardio-metabolic diseases. Sweet, tangy and juicy oranges are another superfood that has cholesterol-lowering properties. In a 2000 study published in the American Society for Clinical Nutrition journal, researchers found that orange juice improves blood lipid profiles in people who have hypercholesterolemia. This happens due to the presence of vitamin C, folate and flavonoids like hesperidin in oranges. The omega-3 fatty acids called EPA and DHA found in salmon provide protection against high cholesterol. It helps lower triglycerides and boosts good HDL cholesterol slightly, thus lowering the risk of heart disease. In addition, salmon is low in cholesterol and saturated fat. Soybeans and other soy products offer a complete plant-based protein that is great for those who suffer from high cholesterol. Although soy may not lower total cholesterol to a great extent, it can still lower bad LDL cholesterol. This high-protein food contains high levels of polyunsaturated fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals as well as low levels of saturated fat. Essential Oils To Reduce High LDL Cholesterol Naturally And Fast

03:40
Cholesterol is an organic molecule with an important role in metabolism. Without it, the organism can’t function correctly. High cholesterol is one of the most debated health problems in the world, particularly since the obesity percentage in the modern population has raised dramatically. Cholesterol level reflects chronic inflammation in your body; the more inflammation you have, the higher your total cholesterol tends to be. This happens because the human body makes cholesterol to "patch up damages" from this ongoing inflammation. However, high LDL cholesterol is also one of the major risk factors for heart disease, the number one killer in the United States. The higher your cholesterol, the greater your risk of developing heart disease or having a heart attack. Therefore, if you're worried about your cholesterol level and have already started exercising and eating healthier foods, using an essential oil can further help reduce your LDL and total cholesterol numbers. 1) Lemongrass essential oil is a potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent known to have chemical compounds which can enhance the immune system. This oil can be taken internally or topically. 2) Basil oil works gradually, but effectively, in lowering LDL cholesterol in the body. 3) Oregano essential oil works as an antiseptic and decongestant, and it has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce pain. 4) Rosemary essential oil is cardio-supportive and it reduces total cholesterol levels because of its unique antioxidant properties. 5) Coriander essential oil is effective for loss of appetite, upset stomach, toothaches, bacterial infections, and as an anti-inflammatory agent. 6) Cypress essential oil lowers LDL cholesterol because it improves circulation in the body. 7) Bergamot essential oil contains various flavonoids which make it effective in lowering cholesterol. 8) Cinnamon essential oil reduced serum glucose, LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, triglyceride, and total cholesterol in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, according to a study issued in the Diabetes Care journal. 9) Myrrh essential oil helps reduce bad cholesterol and lower high blood pressure due to strong anti-inflammatory properties. 10) Grapefruit essential oil can be useful for preventing bloating and water retention as well as it can also help dissolve fat. 11) Clove essential oil can be a good choice for regulating immune processes in the body. It has an active compound called - eugenol, that is a powerful platelet inhibitor, helping to prevent blood clot formation. Tip The 1st step to preventing a heart attack is knowing which fats raise LDL (bad) cholesterol and which don't. Trans fats (junk foods), saturated fats (meat, eggs, and dairy products), and dietary cholesterol raise blood cholesterol. Nevertheless, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats do not. Actually, when they are included in your regular diet, these fats (usually found in plants) may even help to lower LDL levels. Thank you. This was our list of essential oils for cholesterol. Dr. Ronald Krauss on LDL Cholesterol, Particle Size, Heart Disease & Atherogenic Dyslipidemia

01:21:18
Dr. Ronald Krauss, M.D. is the director of atherosclerosis research at Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute, Adjunct Professor at UCSF and UC Berkeley. Dr. Krauss is really one of the pioneering scientists that changed the way we all think about cholesterol. He developed an assay that allows the quantification of low-density lipoprotein particle size and concentration (known to the wider world mostly as just "LDL cholesterol") based on a technique which determines the size of the particle based on physics...meaning the speed at which it flies through the air. This test which has not yet been fully adopted into all clinical practice in the manner that the total LDL cholesterol test has is known as the "ion mobility" test. In this episode, Rhonda and Ron discuss what HDL and LDL cholesterol are, what they do in the body, critical distinctions between the particle sizes of LDL and HDL, and how they play a role in heart disease. We talk about what small, dense LDL particles are, how they form, what effect eating saturated fat versus refined carbohydrates have on LDL particle size and heart disease risk and more generally what the main risk factors for heart disease are. Ron also talks about the good, bad and the ugly of LDL-lowering drugs known as statins, what the characteristics are of atherogenic dyslipidemia, riffs on the manner in which inflammatory cell wall components of bacteria, such as lipopolysaccharide, may interact with cholesterol to make it more harmful, and the effects of sugars on lipid production, and so much more. ▶︎ Get the show notes and transcript! https://www.foundmyfitness.com/episodes/ronald-krauss ▶︎ Join my weekly newsletter: http://www.foundmyfitness.com/?sendme=nutrigenomics ▶︎ Crowdfund more videos: http://www.patreon.com/foundmyfitness ▶︎ Subscribe on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=foundmyfitness ▶︎ Subscribe to the podcast: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/foundmyfitness/id818198322 ▶︎ Twitter: http://twitter.com/foundmyfitness ▶︎ Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/foundmyfitness ▶︎ Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/foundmyfitness

Take the Quiz: https://www.drberg.com/evaluation2 Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY Dr. Berg talks about the 13 serious side effects of low cholesterol. 1. Increase risk of getting cancer 2. Anemia 3. Increase risk of a stroke 4. Adrenal failure 5. Increase risk of infection 6. Increase risk of viruses 7. Increased risk of dying from all causes 8. Chronic inflammatory condition 9. Chronic liver disease 10. Depression 11. Increases the risk of respiratory diseases 12. Aortic dissection 13. Predisposes the critically ill to sepsis (blood poisoning) and adrenal failure. What is considered low cholesterol? Less than 160! The truth is that high cholesterol is not nearly as dangerous compared to low cholesterol. Your body makes cholesterol (3000 mg a day) and when you consume less, your body makes more, and when you consume more, your body makes less. Cholesterol is made to build hormones, build cellular membranes, builds brain and nerves, the immune system and even to make bile. HDL & LDL Cholesterol

06:29
Cholesterol is a waxy substance present in our body and it’s produced from what we eat – mainly from fats and carbohydrates. Some people have the ability to make more cholesterol than others. But what is cholesterol? And does it have a function? Like I said, cholesterol is a waxy substance. It helps the functions of our cells. 1. It strengthens the wall of a cell. 2. It helps the formation of bile, which is produced by the liver to properly digest fats. 3. It helps the formation of vitamin D, which is being produced in the skin after sun exposure. And then cholesterol jumps in to help the formation of an active form vitamin D, that’s D3. Vitamin D is a very important vitamin and it helps several functions in our body. 4. The fourth function of cholesterol is that it helps the formation of male and female sex hormones. Cholesterol in general is not a harmful substance as some people might think. It has good and bad types. Generally speaking, cholesterol has two main types. HDL- that’s High Density Lipoprotein, and LDL – Low Density Lipoprotein. HDL has molecules that are big. And LDL has molecules that are small. Let’s understand more of this by illustrating it on our model. Here: Cholesterol is integrated into the cell wall and appears here as these yellow balls. This is HDL, and it’s responsible for strengthening the cell wall. The other part – LDL – looks like this tiny Christmas tree with spikes. These spikes are bad. How? For illustration purposes let’s imagine this sock as a blood vessel. LDL molecules stick to the blood vessel’s wall and if it accumulates in large quantities it may cause arthrosclerosis – that’s hardening of the blood vessel wall, and thrombosis – that’s clots blocking the blood flow. However, HDL molecules (these big yellow balls), in spite of being so big, they have smooth edges, and they travel easily in the blood stream. HDL helps remove LDL from the blood vessel’s wall – that’s why we should increase HDL and decrease LDL. Have more of HDL and less of LDL. If we undergo a blood cholesterol test, we will have three readings in our reports. You’ll find HDL, LDL, and total cholesterol (after adding HDL to LDL values). As a healthy person you must keep the LDL low and the HDL as high as possible within the normal ranges. Then see if the total cholesterol is elevated or not. This will affect your future health, especially your heart and blood vessels. If the total cholesterol is elevated you’re at higher risk of getting arthrosclerosis, heart disease and stroke at an older age. As I mentioned before, the source of cholesterol is mainly fats. And there are good fats and bad fats. Good fats will produce useful cholesterol for you, and the bad ones will produce harmful cholesterol. How can we differentiate between the good and the bad ones? So, the good fats are: any liquid fats at room temperature or in the fridge, such as plant oils. All solid fats at room temperature or in the fridge are not good, contain LDL: Butter, hydrogenated fats or margarine. All these are not healthy because they form the harmful LDL. If we want to lower our bad cholesterol and increase our good cholesterol, what should we do? First of, we should add liquid fats to our diet, like plant oils. Add them to your salad and avoid heating them. Also avoid using solid fats that are solid at room temperature or in the fridge. There are medicals that we can use under medical supervision. There are also studies that show the benefits of omega-3, which is present in nuts and fish oils. Nuts and fish oil help in lowering the level of bad cholesterol, because they belong to the good cholesterol producing food groups. Don’t forget to practise regular exercise, as this helps in getting rid of the bad cholesterol and maintains good cholesterol within the normal range. I wish you good health! 💓 A Clinically Proven Way To Lower Cholesterol Using Cinnamon

Discover the REAL cause of high cholesterol and a simple formula my parent’s have used since 1999 to lower their cholesterol naturally. 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/CholesterolFormula Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodsForCholesterol And the clinical studies can be seen here: 1. http://www.kickthecan.info/files/documents/JAMA%20The%20Journal%20of%20the%20American%20Medical%20Association%202010%20Welsh.pdf 2, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=14633804 ======================================= 💔 A Clinically Proven Way To Lower Cholesterol Using Cinnamon ======================================= “I heard that cinnamon is good for lowering cholesterol. Is this true? If yes, what’s the best type and how much should I take?” Most people associate using cinnamon for lowering blood sugar levels - and it’s very effective for that. However, most people don’t know that cinnamon is also good for lowering cholesterol levels. And it does so indirectly, due to the direct cause of lowering blood sugar. And this is because high blood sugar levels - mainly caused from sugars, fructose and high glycemic index/load carbohydrates - decreases your “good” HDL cholesterol and also increases your fatty triglycerides.1 Best Type & Amount In 2004, a randomized controlled trial2 tested 40 days of cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) in 1, 3 and 6 gram doses–that’s 1/5 teaspoon, 2/3 teaspoon, and 1.25 teaspoons. In both the 3 and 6 gram doses, there was a drop in cholesterol and triglycerides after 40 days, by 23% to 30% respectively. So there you have it - use about 1 big teaspoon daily of cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) and you’ll see an improvement in your cholesterol, triglycerides and blood sugar levels. Additionally, if you’re looking for a proven way to lower your cholesterol without changing your diet or exercise, make sure you click the link below for a bonus video about the REAL cause of high cholesterol and a proven formula my parents have used to lower their cholesterol naturally, since 1999 And most importantly, do YOURSELF a big favor and make sure you visit the link in the description area below, about the bonus video on how I improved my parent’s cholesterol in less than 30 days, naturally and how can copy the same proven formula. Supplements To Lower Cholesterol Tips

02:29
One way to lower cholesterol is with supplements. Choosing a good supplement should know the ingredients in the supplement. Here are some tips before you buy supplements for cholesterol : Fish oil. It can help lower triglyceride levels by 30%, thanks to the omega-3 they have in them such as EPA and DHA. You will need a high dose - 2-4 grams of fish oil EPA and DHA per day. Ask your doctor about a safe and effective way to try. Psyllium. Fiber is a cholesterol-buster large and part of a healthy diet. Fiber also helps to lower triglycerides and total cholesterol, especially for people with diabetes type 2. If you do not, or can not, get enough fiber from foods - such as vegetables, fruits, and grains - psyllium can fill the void. This will whisk away the cholesterol, but like other fibers, can make you need to go to the bathroom more often or cause constipation if you do not also increase your water intake. Soy protein supplements. Soy can lower total cholesterol and LDL a little. Eating soy protein instead of animal protein (such as meat and full fat milk) will also help. Niacin. Vitamin B can raise HDL "good" cholesterol and LDL "bad" cholesterol and triglycerides - but only use them if your doctor advised you to. Red rice yeast. This supplement has the same active ingredient found in cholesterol-lowering statin drugs. However, the FDA has classified as a drug and has banned the sale as a supplement in the United States, saying it needs more regulation because of side effects. Remember, that before deciding to buy and use a supplement, it is better that you consult your doctor, in order to get the best results. We wish you healthy always. ► What Is VLDL Cholesterol ?

09:31
How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/LowerCholesterol ====================== What Is VLDL Cholesterol? ====================== There is also something called VLDL, which stands for Very Low-Density Lipoprotein. The main purpose of VLDL is to distribute the triglyceride produced by your liver. Because VLDL contains a high level of triglyceride, having a high VLDL level means you may have an increased risk of coronary artery disease, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Higher amounts and large VLDL particles are also associated with an increased risk of high blood pressure and stroke. This is a subject that’s very important to be because both my parents were diagnosed with “high cholesterol” over 15 years ago and my father also had a stroke a couple years ago. So, I’m very familiar with this topic… And what I’ve discovered over the past 20 years is that your goal should be to create TOTAL heart health… The 4 Healthiest, Fastest, Easiest & Safest Ways Of Lowering Your “Bad” VLDL/LDL Cholesterol Naturally… 1. DIET Of course you know your diet is very important, so let me give a quick overview and summary. Carbohydrates – Eliminate or at least limit all man-made carbohydrates – such as cakes, crackers, breads, chips, etc. Anything that comes in a “box”, isn’t good for you. Stick to natural carbohydrates such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, sweet potatoes and a small amount of steel-cut oatmeal. Proteins – Americans eat way too much animal protein. Reduce the protein and limit it to vegetable sources, grass fed bison and wild-caught fish such as salmon. Please stop eating dairy and soy because they cause negative hormonal changes by reducing your thyroid, increasing toxic estrogens and stress hormones – and all of this leads to excess body fat and cancer. Fats – They are very important for proper hormone function. The best are RAW almonds, walnuts, avocados, fish oil and extra virgin coconut oil. Stay away from the man-made, super market oils such as soybean, sesame, canola, corn, sunflower and similar oils and products. Definitely NO margarine either. ALL these fats cause imbalances in hormones and lead to heart disease with long-term usage. Fiber – Eat lots of fiber, about 10-25 grams daily. The best sources would be from vegetables, legumes, fruits with skin, and nuts (walnuts are best). 2. EXERCISE All you need is 20-30 minutes of “something”, 3-4x a week. Walking is a great start… Lifting weights has many hormonal benefits. Swimming, playing sports, etc. are all very helpful. Pick something fun and stick to it. Be consistent! 3. STRESS MANAGEMENT The topic of “stress” is big, can be complicated and requires its own space and I’ll discuss this topic in the future. But stress really does “kill” because of all the negative hormonal changes. My only advice here is that YOU must manage how your REACT to stress. Do you best to spend your time on the SOLUTIONS in life, rather than complain about “the problems”. 4. NATURAL HERBS & VITAMINS [important!] This made the biggest difference for my own parents. There are about half a dozen really good, scientifically researched herbs and natural ingredients that help create healthy cholesterol levels, triglycerides and improve your HDL/LDL ratios. But there’s something else I want you to consider… The BIG Picture Did you know that heart disease is the #1 killer2, killing more people each year than ALL the other diseases COMBINED?!!2 So, improving your cholesterol levels is very important… but it’s just ONE factor out of many, when it comes to decreasing and turning-back heart disease. You also need to improve your HDL/LDL ratios, triglycerides, homocysteine and other lipid levels. Ultimately, your goal isn’t even to lower cholesterol or to reduce heart disease – but to NOT have a heart attack or stroke. It’s to NOT die prematurely. The “Problem” Managing your lipid profiles is probably one of the most important aspects to health, longevity and disease reduction. What Is HDL Cholesterol & Why it's Called The Good Cholesterol?

03:17
►http://drsam.co/yt/RaiseYourGoodCholesterol - See how my parents increases their good cholesterol 100% naturally and how you can do the same starting today! =============================================== What exact is HDL cholesterol and why does my doctor want this cholesterol to be HIGH? I thought cholesterol was bad and it needs to be low? =============================================== First, cholesterol is NOT “bad”. Cholesterol is very important in the creation of cell walls, your hormones, and digestive juices. Cholesterol is also needed for improving your mood and a positive sense of well-being. This is why cholesterol lowering statin drugs have so many negative side-effects, because they lower cholesterol too low. In fact, having “low” cholesterol levels can be just as bad as having “high” cholesterol. Your HDL (high-density lipoprotein) is considered the "good" cholesterol because it can help decrease the cholesterol buildup in the walls of your arteries, that causes narrowing of their openings. While LDL (low-density lipoprotein), is considered the “bad” cholesterol because when your LDL level is high, it can start to form a plaque-like substance on the walls of your cardiovascular system (arteries and veins), blocking the natural flow of blood and leaving you at severe risk for a heart attack and stroke The “good” HDL basically helps clean up your “bad” LDL. Generally speaking, the higher your HDL, the better. An easy way to remember this is to think of the “L” in LDL as LOW and the “H” in HDL as HIGH And thus your goal is to have lower LDL and higher HDL For example, after giving my mom some specific herbs that I’ll tell you about in a minute, I was able to raise her “good” HDL from 52 mg/dL to 94 mg/dL Her cardiologist and I are very happy because sometimes my mom’s TOTAL cholesterol goes in the “borderline high” range (200-239 mg/dL). However, we’re okay with that because her “good” HDL is so high and thus, very protective.
