Wellbutrin review

06:00
I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and a generalized anxiety disorder. I've tried bupropion better known as its name brand Wellbutrin in the past as my main antidepressant and it didn't work very well when I was prescribed 300 mg of Wellbutrin. The first time around I experienced a lot of paranoia and anxiety. The good thing about Wellbutrin, in my opinion, is once you appear dosage by 100 mg over time and hit that 300 mg a day mark you start to lose a lot of weight. When I first started bupropion I was a little over 400 pounds and when I stopped taking it four months later I was down to 370 pounds. I recently started taking Bupropion xl 150mg along with my other bipolar and anxiety medication and after giving it a few weeks to kick in my depression is finally lifting again. Many people ask how long does it take to see results on Wellbutrin and I suggest you give it at least a month before you make any decisions. My current Wellbutrin side effects are: I have been more physically active, happier, my anxiety is up a little bit, I haven't been taking my normal daytime naps since I haven't been as sleepy, and my weight loss is continuing but that started prior to taking Bupropion XL My current medication stack that my psychiatrist has prescribed for me to battle my bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder and sleeping issues are: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Cymbalta used to treat my depression. It also helps with my arthritis pain. 300 mg of Lamotrigine aka Lamictal my mood stabilizer 150mg of Bupropion XL usually referred to as Wellbutrin used to treat my bipolar depression. 200mg of Quetiapine which is an antipsychotic better known as Seroquel 1 mg of Alprazolam which you probably know as Xanax as needed for my anxiety issues. I really try to avoid taking it though. 10 mg of Zolpidem commonly referred to by its name brand of Ambien for my sleep. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. Bupropion: What You Need To Know

09:48
Bupropion is an antidepressant and a smoking cessation aid. The drug has been tested in many other conditions, including ADHD, obesity, and seasonal affective disorder. It has multiple pharmacological mechanisms and it's still not entirely clear how bupropion works. Some recreational use has been reported, though the substance usually isn't very pleasant and it can be dangerous. Depression Medication. Paxil versus Wellbutrin, my Experience.

10:38
This is a blog telling you guys about my experience with both paxil and wellbutrin, as well as talk a bit about zoloft. It might come as a surprise to my viewers that I have been diagnosed with depression, but I feel that this is an important topic, as people with depression should take medication because it has changed my life and could potentially change theres. I forgot to mention that Wellbutrin is slightly more expensive than Paxil. With our insurance, paxil (10 mg) was only about 15 cents for a month supply, and Wellbutrin (150 mg) is about $9.50 for a month supply. I don't know how much this varies depending on your insurance, but I know that Paxil is known for being cheap. Also, with Wellbutrin you CANNOT drink alcohol. I drank one (yes, one) beer when I started taking wellbutrin and it made me throw up all night. Horrible. so, if you drink you might want to consider that when choosing an anti-depressent. Paxil did the same thing to me, but not as immediate as WellButrin. DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. DO NOT SELF-PERSCRIBE ANYTHING TO YOURSELF, AND CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT WHICH DEPRESSION MEDICATION COULD POTENTIALLY WORK BEST FOR YOU. THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE, AND YOURS COULD VARY COMPLETELY.

Prozac, Paxil & Drug Interactions With Amphetamines for ADHD

03:34
This Prozac and Paxil interaction have lived on my clinical radar since '96 - and is the most frequently denied drug interaction in thousands of second opinions. If you take either of these two antidepressants together with an amphetamine, watch out. You can significantly become overdosed on the amphetamine. Often the interaction can unpredictably occur several months later. The patient becomes toxic to the amphetamine, angry, irrational, can't sleep, can't eat, and can become dangerously destructive. The Adderall or Vyvanse often gets blamed. Don't let a doctor prescribe you a benzo medication like klonopin, here's a good reason why.

08:32
If you get even one prescription of a benzodiazepine medication like klonopin (clonazepam), valium (diazepam), xanax (alprazolam), and ativan (lorazepam), etc. your brain will likely become physically dependent on them after a few weeks use and you could end up like me here or worse. You could end up with countless pill bottles of something that might be helping for a couple weeks, but then it stops working as well and you then up the dose. You get your dose high enough to where your breathing starts to become too depressed. Then you decide you want to come off the meds. But guess what, you can't just stop them. No, you are in for what is going to likely be over a year of trying to taper off your medication because even the smallest cut in dose is going to bring complete hell of withdrawal side effects. These meds change the gaba properties in your brain, the chemical that helps calm your nervous system. When you start cutting the benzo medication out, your brain takes it harshly and takes a long time to adjust back to controlling gaba on its own again. Please trust me when I say do not touch a benzo unless its your last hope. You may end up like me, or countless other people duped by their doctors into getting hooked on something that you are given no warning about its effects both during use and the complete hell of trying to come off of them.

Zoloft / Sertraline review (antidepressant) by John Birmingham

08:02
Antidepressant Zoloft / Sertraline review. I took Sertraline for 2 months, 50 mg/day, and describe in this video its affects on the body and mind, including lasting positive effects of weight loss/appetite loss and getting rid of depression. I am not a doctor, nor a psychiatrist, so I recommend getting a professional's advice before changing, adding or stopping any medications. I can however give my honest opinion as to how Sertraline affected me. Review of Citalopram (generic for Celexa, an antidepressant): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdEVgA7cd2c I cannot offer much advice, because I am not a doctor. However, if you have questions, please just watch the whole video and if you are interested my videos on Risperidone (generic for Risperdal) and Citalopram at the above links. I offer insight to anyone taking this medicine or considering taking this medicine for anxiety, depression or other problems. I wish you the best and wish I had the time to help out everyone. All I can suggest is to actually hear all I have already said in the videos, which should answer your questions, as well as ask your psychiatrist. Here and there I try to help by responding to comments, but I have covered most of everything in the videos. Thanks for watching.

What are the results of ADHD Treatment?

03:45
Dr Stephen Humphries of Harley Therapy discusses how significant results are achieved through treatment for ADHD. Sufferers often find treatment helps them calm down, focus more clearly and be less overwhelmed (http://www.harleytherapy.co.uk/adult-...). ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neuro development disorder that more commonly presents in childhood, but can and does persist into adulthood. Dr Stephen Humphries FRC Psych is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Harley Therapy (http://www.harleytherapy.co.uk) Harley Street in London. In this video he talks about how dramtatic results can be achieved through the varying forms of treatment for ADHD. Although less widely diagnosed in adults in the UK than it is in the US or Canada, ADHD is a relatively common condition. Common symptoms can be anxiety, lack of confidence or depression, but standard treatments for these conditions can just make ADHD worse. In our other videos, Dr Humphries discusses what kind of treatments are available for adult ADHD and how medication, in particular, can be spectacularly successful. Dr Humphries can usually see a new patient within a week of a referral with the assessment available within 10 days of the appointment. However there is no obligation to follow up with the treatment. So to book an assessment, contact http://www.harleytherapy.co.uk today. To understand more about Dr Humphries and his work at Harley Therapy, see this video interview (http://youtu.be/Tl9mypLAbSk ). Recovering from childhood abuse

20:26
This is video number two of my mental health journey playlist. Today I will be talking about recovering from childhood abuse. That abuse can be childhood sexual abuse, childhood physical abuse, verbal abuse a.k.a. emotional abuse or psychological abuse, parental neglect and parental abandonment. Adults after childhood abuse tend to have low self-esteem, anxiety issues, depression, other psychological issues and stagnate personal growth and development. I was inspired by the #MeToo movement to share my story and be part of the #Metoo man movement by sharing my childhood abuse story with you. Yes, a man can be a victim of sexual abuse too! If you are a victim of child abuse or trauma I encourage you to seek treatment and speak up so that we can help fight such a senseless and terrible thing. Also, do not let toxic parents or toxic family members control you anymore. Even if that means having to cut ties with them completely because only then can you begin healing from trauma. I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and various phobias. My current medication combination is: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. My mental health journey | Episode 1: panic attacks, anxiety and phobias

22:19
I have decided to start sharing more of my personal stories and struggle in my mental health journey. This is episode 1 of my official mental health journey YouTube playlist. This video discusses panic attacks, anxiety, and phobias. I will share briefly a little bit about anxiety and some of the root causes that triggered mine like being abused as a kid and dealing with death. I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and various phobias. My current medication combination is: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. I am going to attempt to do more personal videos like this in order to help in the stigma of mental illness as well as to let others know they are not alone. Destigmatizing Bipolar Depression | Eric Chase | TEDxToledo

19:33
In 2005 Eric was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, depression, and anxiety; after learning more about his condition, he began to realize how much his dogs helped him cope with symptoms. He knows firsthand about the power of connecting with animals, and is also a huge animal rights advocate. Although he is a Pennsylvania native, after bouncing around for a little while, Eric decided to make Toledo, OH, his home. Opportunities seemingly fall into his lap here and the people are always so warm and open towards him. He most recently hosted a morning talk radio show called, The Morning Rush on Kiss FM, a top 40 station with no music during his segment; a real gutsy thing, but it worked. Many people listened in and called each morning, and the show became a therapy of sorts for the fans. Eric hopes to take the same light hearted listening ear he gained as a radio host and transfer that into using animal therapy to help people living with mental illness. He is already in process of talking with a local healthcare provider to create such a program. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx

Maybel speaks of her experience with IbogaQuest

08:21
Visit www.ibogaquest.com for more information and videos about opiate addiction interruption, depression and mood disorders as well as the search for spiritual integration. Here is Maybel's testimonial one year after her treatment: Hola Barry, It's good to hear from you! How are things going in Iboga Quest? Are you still at Werica? I truly hope that Veronica and you are well and happy. I'm very well! I started an undergraduate program in social work this fall and that keeps me very busy. I'm still very much interested in psychedelic therapy and had some enlightening experiences in the last year. I would like eventually to work with young women and found out that social work is a good fit for me. I do remember often my experience with Iboga. There is no doubt it has been a decisive step, and I feel that I'm intimately bound to the medicine even if I took it just one time. I'm curious to know what kind of journey I would have today... I know it will happen again, I just don't know when. I don't feel the urgency as I did the two years ago, I just know I will connect again with Iboga some day. Please give a hug to Veronica. Warmly, Maybel
