Wellbutrin review

06:00
I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and a generalized anxiety disorder. I've tried bupropion better known as its name brand Wellbutrin in the past as my main antidepressant and it didn't work very well when I was prescribed 300 mg of Wellbutrin. The first time around I experienced a lot of paranoia and anxiety. The good thing about Wellbutrin, in my opinion, is once you appear dosage by 100 mg over time and hit that 300 mg a day mark you start to lose a lot of weight. When I first started bupropion I was a little over 400 pounds and when I stopped taking it four months later I was down to 370 pounds. I recently started taking Bupropion xl 150mg along with my other bipolar and anxiety medication and after giving it a few weeks to kick in my depression is finally lifting again. Many people ask how long does it take to see results on Wellbutrin and I suggest you give it at least a month before you make any decisions. My current Wellbutrin side effects are: I have been more physically active, happier, my anxiety is up a little bit, I haven't been taking my normal daytime naps since I haven't been as sleepy, and my weight loss is continuing but that started prior to taking Bupropion XL My current medication stack that my psychiatrist has prescribed for me to battle my bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder and sleeping issues are: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Cymbalta used to treat my depression. It also helps with my arthritis pain. 300 mg of Lamotrigine aka Lamictal my mood stabilizer 150mg of Bupropion XL usually referred to as Wellbutrin used to treat my bipolar depression. 200mg of Quetiapine which is an antipsychotic better known as Seroquel 1 mg of Alprazolam which you probably know as Xanax as needed for my anxiety issues. I really try to avoid taking it though. 10 mg of Zolpidem commonly referred to by its name brand of Ambien for my sleep. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. Bupropion: What You Need To Know

Bupropion is an antidepressant and a smoking cessation aid. The drug has been tested in many other conditions, including ADHD, obesity, and seasonal affective disorder. It has multiple pharmacological mechanisms and it's still not entirely clear how bupropion works. Some recreational use has been reported, though the substance usually isn't very pleasant and it can be dangerous. Depression Medication. Paxil versus Wellbutrin, my Experience.

10:38
This is a blog telling you guys about my experience with both paxil and wellbutrin, as well as talk a bit about zoloft. It might come as a surprise to my viewers that I have been diagnosed with depression, but I feel that this is an important topic, as people with depression should take medication because it has changed my life and could potentially change theres. I forgot to mention that Wellbutrin is slightly more expensive than Paxil. With our insurance, paxil (10 mg) was only about 15 cents for a month supply, and Wellbutrin (150 mg) is about $9.50 for a month supply. I don't know how much this varies depending on your insurance, but I know that Paxil is known for being cheap. Also, with Wellbutrin you CANNOT drink alcohol. I drank one (yes, one) beer when I started taking wellbutrin and it made me throw up all night. Horrible. so, if you drink you might want to consider that when choosing an anti-depressent. Paxil did the same thing to me, but not as immediate as WellButrin. DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. DO NOT SELF-PERSCRIBE ANYTHING TO YOURSELF, AND CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT WHICH DEPRESSION MEDICATION COULD POTENTIALLY WORK BEST FOR YOU. THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE, AND YOURS COULD VARY COMPLETELY.

Prozac, Paxil & Drug Interactions With Amphetamines for ADHD

This Prozac and Paxil interaction have lived on my clinical radar since '96 - and is the most frequently denied drug interaction in thousands of second opinions. If you take either of these two antidepressants together with an amphetamine, watch out. You can significantly become overdosed on the amphetamine. Often the interaction can unpredictably occur several months later. The patient becomes toxic to the amphetamine, angry, irrational, can't sleep, can't eat, and can become dangerously destructive. The Adderall or Vyvanse often gets blamed. CBD Oil Side Effects Warning (Do Not Buy CBD Until You See This)

01:45
3 simple tips to follow before buying: 1. Always check the CBD purity, it should be 50% and more. 2. Choose products made in the US or Canada. Due to strict regulations this is your quality guarantee. 3. Do not expect to purchase quality and safe to use CBD oil for pennies. High quality CBD oil should cost at least $45-$50. Choose another product if that amount puts you into an uncomfortable situation financially. Brands that I trust and recommend: 1. Verified CBD Oil (http://verifiedcbd.com). This is probably the oldest brand of CBD I know. Tons of success stories and quality I have tested myself - these are the reasons I have been recommending this brand to my friends and family for years. The only downside is that due to their recent TV "fame" they are often out of stock and can be hard to get. Official website: http://verifiedcbd.com Benefits and Side Effects of CBD Oil Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is commonly known, is a very interesting chemical. And it is responsible for many people changing their views on marijuana use for medicinal purposes. While everyone has heard of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), not many are aware of CBD. The two chemicals are both contained in marijuana, but they serve very different purposes. While the THC in marijuana is will get you high, CBD is a chemical with many benefits from a medicinal point of view - and it does not have the same side effects on the body as THC. What are the Health Benefits of CBD Oil? The ingredient CBD has been used for many years to make several products. One of these products is CBD oil. According to many studies which have carried out on this product, there are many different health benefits associated with it. First and foremost, it can help people who are experiencing excessive nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy or some other type of medical treatment. It is also great at reducing the seizures some people get on a regular basis. Another benefit of CBD oil is how it helps combat inflammation and neuro-degenerative disorders. It is also great for anxiety and depression sufferers. So if you are suffering from one of these conditions, you may want to talk to your physician about the possibility of getting on CBD oil for a few months. CBD oil also contain various o nutrients like carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins such as vitamin B1, B2, B6, D and E, trace minerals such as calcium, iron zinc, magnesium potassium, and several other compounds required by the human body for healthy functioning, such as chlorophyll, carotene, ketones, glycosides, nitrogen-based compounds, etc.. Unlike THC, CBD oil doesn't make you high. The CBD in these this product will not make you feel the same as the THC does. This is because THC is a psychoactive chemical whereas CBD is not. It does not act in the same manner when it comes into contact with your brain's pathways. It does not interfere with your psychological or psychomotor functions either. For those who want a simpler explanation: CBD oil is 100% safe and won't get you high! Are there Any Side Effects of CBD Oil? Whereas CBD oil has been proven safe for human consumption, some researches done on it have identified a possibility of side effects in patients taking the oil. One study which was published in 1886 in the International Journal of Neuroscience showed that CBD oil could cause some mild side effects in patients with dystonia. These side effects include dry mouth, hypotension, sedation, psychomotor slowing, and lightheadedness. However, there are no side effects which have been reported when CBD is taken in high doses. As you can see, you should not worry when taking CBD oil as its side effects are very mild. Buy CBD oil today and experience the many benefits associated with it. Prozac: The Military's Secret Weapon

03:26
U.S. combat troops are taking daily doses of antidepressants to calm nerves strained by repeated and lengthy tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. The medicines are intended not only to help troops keep their cool but also to enable the already strapped Army to preserve its most precious resource: soldiers on the front lines. Data contained in the Army's fifth Mental Health Advisory Team report indicate that, according to an anonymous survey of U.S. troops taken last fall, about 12% of combat troops in Iraq and 17% of those in Afghanistan are taking prescription antidepressants or sleeping pills to help them cope. Escalating violence in Afghanistan and the more isolated mission have driven troops to rely more on medication there than in Iraq, military officials say. At a Pentagon that keeps statistics on just about everything, there is no central clearinghouse for this kind of data, and the Army hasn't consistently asked about prescription-drug use, which makes it difficult to track. Given the traditional stigma associated with soldiers seeking mental help, the survey, released in March, probably underestimates antidepressant use. But if the Army numbers reflect those of other services — the Army has by far the most troops deployed to the war zones — about 20,000 troops in Afghanistan and Iraq were on such medications last fall. The Army estimates that authorized drug use splits roughly fifty-fifty between troops taking antidepressants — largely the class of drugs that includes Prozac and Zoloft — and those taking prescription sleeping pills like Ambien. In some ways, the prescriptions may seem unremarkable. Generals, history shows, have plied their troops with medicinal palliatives at least since George Washington ordered rum rations at Valley Forge. During World War II, the Nazis fueled their blitzkrieg into France and Poland with the help of an amphetamine known as Pervitin. The U.S. Army also used amphetamines during the Vietnam War. The increase in the use of medication among U.S. troops suggests the heavy mental and psychological price being paid by soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pentagon surveys show that while all soldiers deployed to a war zone will feel stressed, 70% will manage to bounce back to normalcy. But about 20% will suffer from what the military calls "temporary stress injuries," and 10% will be afflicted with "stress illnesses." Such ailments, according to briefings commanders get before deploying, begin with mild anxiety and irritability, difficulty sleeping, and growing feelings of apathy and pessimism. As the condition worsens, the feelings last longer and can come to include panic, rage, uncontrolled shaking and temporary paralysis. The symptoms often continue back home, playing a key role in broken marriages, suicides and psychiatric breakdowns. The mental trauma has become so common that the Pentagon may expand the list of "qualifying wounds" for a Purple Heart — historically limited to those physically injured on the battlefield — to include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Defense Secretary Robert Gates said on May 2 that it's "clearly something" that needs to be considered, and the Pentagon is weighing the change. Which means that any drug that keeps a soldier deployed and fighting also saves money on training and deploying replacements. But there is a downside: the number of soldiers requiring long-term mental-health services soars with repeated deployments and lengthy combat tours. If troops do not get sufficient time away from combat — both while in theater and during the "dwell time" at home before they go back to war — it's possible that antidepressants and sleeping aids will be used to stretch an already taut force even tighter. "This is what happens when you try to fight a long war with an army that wasn't designed for a long war," says Lawrence Korb, Pentagon personnel chief during the Reagan Administration. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1811858,00.html

Recovering from childhood abuse

20:26
This is video number two of my mental health journey playlist. Today I will be talking about recovering from childhood abuse. That abuse can be childhood sexual abuse, childhood physical abuse, verbal abuse a.k.a. emotional abuse or psychological abuse, parental neglect and parental abandonment. Adults after childhood abuse tend to have low self-esteem, anxiety issues, depression, other psychological issues and stagnate personal growth and development. I was inspired by the #MeToo movement to share my story and be part of the #Metoo man movement by sharing my childhood abuse story with you. Yes, a man can be a victim of sexual abuse too! If you are a victim of child abuse or trauma I encourage you to seek treatment and speak up so that we can help fight such a senseless and terrible thing. Also, do not let toxic parents or toxic family members control you anymore. Even if that means having to cut ties with them completely because only then can you begin healing from trauma. I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and various phobias. My current medication combination is: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. Cannabis and Depression. Is it a Natural Cure?

Depression is an all too common mental disorder that is loosely defined as going through at least two weeks of “low mood” which is constant through most situations. Depression is usually accompanied by feelings of low self-esteem/self-worth, low energy, loss of interest in usually pleasant activities, and even strange aches and pains that seemingly do not have a clear cause. This type of disorder can also alter perceptions as folks suffering from depression occasionally report having false thoughts or seeing or hearing things that others cannot. There are several different forms of depression such as major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorder (manic depression), dysthymia, and seasonal affective disorder. While they all may present different types of symptoms they all have the potential to take over someone’s life and make even the simplest of daily activities a sometimes insurmountable hassle, negatively impacting a person’s personal life, education, or career, as well as sleep, eating habits, overall health, and happiness. It is estimated that approximately 350 million people across the globe suffer from a form of depression with 2–8% of adults with major depression end up committing suicide and about 50% of people who die by suicide had suffered from depression or another type of mood disorder. Does Cannabis Help Fight Depression? cannabis and depression Does Cannabis Help Fight Depression? legal weed news marijuana and depression marijuana legalization Marijuana News medical marijuana programs weed and depression weed newsDepression can stem from a number of different causes such as genetics, loss, abuse, stress, as well as other negative major life events and is typically treated with a combination of counseling and antidepressant medications. However due to the potential negative side effects of many antidepressants, folks have been turning to medicinal cannabis in order to help fight their depression. So how exactly does cannabis actually help one combat this mood disorder? Cannabis is a completely natural remedy that stimulates a person’s endocannabinoid system and accelerates up the growth of nervous tissue with minimal (if any) side effects. It can also enhances one’s mood while simultaneously eliminating anxiety and the insomnia that often accompany depression. It also provides the patient with added focus and energy which are often affected when a person is suffering from depression. This occurs due to the plant’s significant influence over the endocannabinoid system and the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2. The cannabis plant contains over a hundred different cannabinoids with the most well known and researched being Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). When these cannabinoids enter the human body they quickly latch on to the body’s cannabinoid receptors and help regulate a person’s mood when suffering from a mental illness such as depression. Does Cannabis Help Fight Depression? cannabis and depression Does Cannabis Help Fight Depression? legal weed news marijuana and depression marijuana legalization Marijuana News medical marijuana programs weed and depression weed newsSeveral studies have gone on to research the effects medical cannabis has on individuals that are suffering from different forms of depression and the majority of the results point to how effective the cannabis plant can be for treating these types of conditions. According to a 2006 study by Montreal’s McGill University folks that are suffering from depression and used cannabis even occasionally reported significantly lower symptoms than the participants who had been undergoing different forms of treatment. The study also showed that low doses of CBD and THC can help produce serotonin which acts as the body’s all-natural mood stabilizer and helps combat depression and its symptoms. Another study conducted by the University Medical Center Utrecht in the Netherlands which investigated the effects THC has on the human brain showed that the cannabinoid reaches the endocannabinoid system in the brain directly and has the potential to change the response it has to negative thoughts and emotions or even images that were created by traumatic events. A separate study also showed that folks that were suffering from bipolar disorder had notably improved cognitive function after using cannabis medicinally. Don't let a doctor prescribe you a benzo medication like klonopin, here's a good reason why.

08:32
If you get even one prescription of a benzodiazepine medication like klonopin (clonazepam), valium (diazepam), xanax (alprazolam), and ativan (lorazepam), etc. your brain will likely become physically dependent on them after a few weeks use and you could end up like me here or worse. You could end up with countless pill bottles of something that might be helping for a couple weeks, but then it stops working as well and you then up the dose. You get your dose high enough to where your breathing starts to become too depressed. Then you decide you want to come off the meds. But guess what, you can't just stop them. No, you are in for what is going to likely be over a year of trying to taper off your medication because even the smallest cut in dose is going to bring complete hell of withdrawal side effects. These meds change the gaba properties in your brain, the chemical that helps calm your nervous system. When you start cutting the benzo medication out, your brain takes it harshly and takes a long time to adjust back to controlling gaba on its own again. Please trust me when I say do not touch a benzo unless its your last hope. You may end up like me, or countless other people duped by their doctors into getting hooked on something that you are given no warning about its effects both during use and the complete hell of trying to come off of them.

My mental health journey | Episode 1: panic attacks, anxiety and phobias

22:19
I have decided to start sharing more of my personal stories and struggle in my mental health journey. This is episode 1 of my official mental health journey YouTube playlist. This video discusses panic attacks, anxiety, and phobias. I will share briefly a little bit about anxiety and some of the root causes that triggered mine like being abused as a kid and dealing with death. I suffer from bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and various phobias. My current medication combination is: 120 mg of Duloxetine DR a.k.a. I am going to attempt to do more personal videos like this in order to help in the stigma of mental illness as well as to let others know they are not alone. The Hidden Enemy Documentary Trailer

The Hidden Enemy - Inside Psychiatry's Covert Agenda This documentary shows how the army is exploited as Psychiatry's testing ground for drugs and other inhumane "treatment" which have resulted in exponential growth of military suicides. Currently, more US soldiers die from suicide than from combat. "The battlefield is safer than psychiatry. You understand that? Statistically you are less likely to be shot by an enemy than to be killed by a pharmaceutical drug. That's the truth about psychiatry." —Mike Adams "Health Ranger" creator of www.naturalnews.com Our military are being prescribed the following drugs (list not complete): Seroquel, Paxil, Prozac, Abilify, Wellbutrin, Modafinil, Methylphenidate, Xanax, Dexedrine, Effexor, Haldol, Adderal, Stelazine, Depakote, Thorazine, Zoloft, Ambien. 23:16 "You take your meds and you can just start feeling it going down and you're just like bam you're just a zombie....
