02:55
Some people take sleep inducing drugs which makes you addictive. If you don’t take it any day then you may not get sleep. Vitamin B12 helps in producing the melatonin, which is the sleep inducing hormone itself. Other B vitamin such as B5, B9, they also help in taking away the stress or the anxiety and making you to sleep. So take all those Vitamins. These vitamins were available on the whole cereals and the legumes. They were available on the outer grain. These days these grains are processed and refined and that’s how we have these deficiencies. So it is better to have these grains which nature is producing. Nowadays lot of people are suffering from sleeplessness, insomnia, mainly because of deficiency of these B vitamins mainly because of these deficiency of these B vitamins. So taking B Vitamins will help in sleeping. So take whole legumes, pulses, eat curd, which has Vitamin B which is more than sufficient. If you are not eating balanced diet, that is you are eating outside all the time, then it is better to take vitamin B supplement. So supplements are of 2 types, synthetic supplements and natural supplements. So natural supplements are far better and more healthy.

Vitamin D, Deep sleep & Gut Bacteria w/ Dr. Stasha Gominak

Dr. Stasha Gominakdiscusses how vitamin D (from the sun) is needed to improve the stability of gut bacteria, which in turn help synthesize B vitamins necessary to facilitate deep sleep. Does ours? 22:05 Why Did It Take 2 Years to Become B Deficient? 23:44 Each B vitamin has an intestinal bacterial source and a food source. 26:02 Wanted: Gut Bugs 31:39 You can fix your own bacteria with vitamin D levels above 40 and take B100 or B50 for 3 months. 32:58 The sodium linked multivitamin transport system pumps 3 vitamins, pantothenic acid, alpha lipoic acid and biotin, into our digestive system and our brain. 36:24 Dr. Gominak sees a correlation between autism and vitamin D deficiency. 38:27 The development of sexual dysmorphism and sleep. 42:34 When a child cannot get out of bed in the morning, this is may be the brain demanding that they go back to sleep to get REM. 44:03 A lack of REM sleep cheats a child of their normal development. 47:15 Children and adults normally make small subtle movements and tiny vocalizations, not talking, walking or falling out of bed. 48:27 Taking the Weston A. Price westernization theory to another level. 56:02 Breastfeeding enlarges nasal passages. 57:28 Dr. Gominak believes that vitamin D is trophic to the bacteria that we are supposed to have in our gut. 59:24 Pantothenic acid not only makes acetylcholine, it makes cortisol. 60:11 Acetylcholine is a chemical used by the vagus nerve. 01:07:46 A test result of pantothenic acid levels will parallel magnesium levels. It tells you what is in the blood, but not what is in the stores. 01:09:10 Perhaps we are completely self-healing with REM sleep. 01:12:26 Dr. Gominak’s Morning Routine 01:13:31 The ketogenic diet helps people to live longer. Being ketogenic during REM sleep helps us repair. We were probably designed to go into ketosis for at least 12 hours every night. 01:15:08 A new theory is that the tricarboxylic acid/CREB cycle, which is used when you are using fats as your energy supply, may have a different purpose. It may not be about making ATP. 0101:19:33 Dr. Gominak’s desert island herb, nutrient or supplement: Her choice is vitamin D, even on a desert island. 01:30:35 Dr. Gominak’s Elevator Pitch: We can impact our children, especially children of color. It they don’t go outside, they don’t make enough vitamin D.

Better than Sleeping Pills: Natural Remedy to Sleep Better

03:09
Are you having trouble getting a good night’s rest? We all do at times. With all the stress around us, it can be hard to fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up feeling rested. Stress and electromagnetic frequencies from cellphones, computers, and other electronics don’t help the case. Bright lights, and other things, can change our nervous system and sleep hormones, and lessen how much good sleep we get. When you don’t get enough sleep, you lose out on what your body can do to work properly. Your cognitive thinking skills get worse, your motor skills slow down, your energy drops, and you’re at more risk for diseases and health conditions like obesity, diabetes, and cancer. You’ll feel better, work better, and block disease by getting at least eight hours of sleep each night. The easiest thing to do is grab a sleeping pill, but is that a good idea? It may work for a little while, but it’s really harming your body’s health and natural abilities. Sleeping pills can come along with dizziness, constipation, stomach pain, a hard time paying attention, memory problems, and harm to the central nervous system. If you do not want the bad things that come with sleeping pills, what can you do? The answer is banana cinnamon tea. Using the soothing value of banana, the banana peel, and cinnamon is a great way to push insomnia and other sleeping disorders aside. Bananas are full of potassium and magnesium. Most people do not know that the banana peel has even more potassium and magnesium than the banana, and they just throw it away. Not anymore! With this simple recipe, you can get the help from the potassium and magnesium in the banana peel. Potassium and magnesium are helpful to the nervous system and are great for soothing the muscles. In fact, magnesium is the most important mineral to ease muscles and can lessen muscle cramps and other aches and pains. Cinnamon is great because it evens out blood sugar levels. When blood sugar levels are even, your hormones can work in a way that lets you sleep better. If your blood sugar levels are off, then you may have energy at night, or be tired during the day. Here’s the recipe: Ingredients: 1 organic banana (with peel) 1 small pot of water A sprinkle of cinnamon (if you’d like) Step 1: Cut off both ends of the banana (top and bottom) Step 2: Put the banana into a pot of boiling water. It’s even better if the water is spring water or filtered in some way. Boil it for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle some cinnamon in the water as well. If you’d like to add some stevia for sweetening, do so. Stevia helps to even out blood sugar levels, and will not raise blood sugar levels before bed. Step 3: Add more cinnamon if you’d like, and enjoy! Put Garlic Under Your Pillow and This Will Happen to You

03:18
Garlic is a very common food found in many kitchens throughout the world and has been around for hundreds of years. While it has been used to season food, it has also been placed in many home remedies for years. Because garlic is such a versatile ingredient, it has many beneficial qualities. Garlic has been used to flavor dishes, get rid of pests, and even play into superstitions of chasing away vampires. Whatever the reason, we do know that garlic is a nutrient-dense food. It has many important qualities and can benefit your health in many ways. Garlic is actually a food that is high in calories, up to 100 calories per 100 grams. However, no one truly consumes that much garlic so it is nearly impossible to gain weight eating garlic alone. Garlic has both complex carbohydrates and proteins that both improve your physical performance and mental health. Garlic is also high in vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin B, Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium. It also is high in Allicin, which is a compound composed of sulfur. Garlic can treat infections, metabolic disorders, and respiratory problems. It contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatories which assist in cardiovascular health. It reduces the body's cholesterol levels and regulates the body's blood pressure. It can also help with increasing the body’s blood flow and preventing premature aging. It can also kill germs better than some prescribed antibiotics. It can also help fight fluid buildup in the body and inflammation in the body's tissues. Garlic can improve pretty much every aspect of your bodily functions. Why would I put garlic under my pillow? This is an old family secret that has been used to improve sleep for generations. This is especially helpful to people who have difficulty falling asleep. Garlic's sulfur containing compounds and its strong aroma have a calming effect and can help your quality sleep. Garlic's aroma is strong and can be difficult; however, after a few days, you will get used to it and you will be sleeping so soundly, you will not even notice. Garlic also has a positive effect on your performance throughout the day and it helps at night to recharge for the next day. Another way to experience of the benefits of garlic's ability to help sleep involves preparing a natural drink that will help you relax: Ingredients: - 1 glass milk - 1 clove garlic, crushed - 1 teaspoon honey Directions: - Combine the garlic and milk in a saucepan and heat until boiling. - Let boil for 3 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool. - Add the honey and drink. - You should drink it around 30 minutes before bed for best results. In addition to being one of the best seasonings, garlic is a powerful ally for your health and will treat sleep problems. If you like the video, give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends! What Are Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms?

06:05
For more info: https://draxe.com/vitamin-d-deficiency-symptoms/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Apr-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=vitaminddeficiency In this video I’m going to talk about the benefits of vitamin D as well as symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. In certain studies, Americans has been found to be the #1 population in vitamin D deficiency. Some of the main symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are a weakened immune system, candida or bacterial overgrowth, emotional ups and downs, hormone imbalance, trouble putting on muscle or losing weight, weakened bones or teeth, cancer, heart disease, or diabetes. Vitamin D supports having a healthy immune response, digestive health, hormone balance, and more. The biggest causes of vitamin D deficiency are not getting enough sunlight, certain chemicals from plastic bottles (bpa), and toxicity. Try to get outside everyday for about 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. Certain foods that are sources of vitamin D are wild caught fish, raw fermented milk, mushrooms, and eggs. However, there are small amounts in the food you eat. For a good supplement, I would recommend a high quality vitamin D supplement. You don’t want to take vitamin D2, but you do want to take vitamin D3. For supplementation, take about 2000-5000 IUs a day. However, if you have a severe deficiency, then for 1-2 months, you may take 5000 IUs twice daily. Lastly, you want to take your vitamin D3 with some form of fat like coconut oil or avocado to help absorption in your body. By drinking just one glass of this juice before bed, you will lower your fat levels- especially your belly fat. If you drink it every night, and after waking up you do some cardio workouts for about 30 minutes, you will see it get better in just a few days. Because the ingredients in this drink are all shown to speed up the metabolism, so when you drink it before you go to bed, your body keeps breaking things down quickly. Cucumbers are very good for fighting fat. They are an important part of any weight loss plan. One full cucumber has just 45 calories and they are full of fiber and water, two things that are important for burning fat. Plus, they are very cooling, and give this drink a great taste. Parsley and cilantro are very low in calories, and they are both full of antioxidants, as well as vitamins and minerals that are very good for easing water that stored up. Therefore, they are good for flattening a blown- up stomach. Ginger helps the body break down materials faster and stops constipation, two things that are very powerful for fighting off that belly fat you don’t want. This ingredient will help burn off fat while you sleep. Lemon juice is good for flushing out toxins that have built up in the body. When you drink lemon juice, you will be able to get rid of body fat. You’ll also feel a whole lot better because the toxins that have built up in your system will be cleaned out. Another thing that’s good for weight loss is aloe vera juice. It is full of antioxidants and helps block free radicals, which lead to swelling and bloating. This juice also helps boost how fast your body breaks down materials, which can help lower your body mass index. Sip this healthy drink before bed and you’ll wake up feeling lighter and more energetic. With these simple ingredients, which you can pick up at your grocery store, you can make this weight loss drink in no time. Warning Signs That You're Zinc Deficient

05:53
For more info: https://draxe.com/zinc-deficiency/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Feb-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=zincdeficient Today I’m going to share with you the five warning signs that you’re zinc deficient. About 75% of people in the world are deficient, so being deficient in zinc is very common. The 5 warning signs you’re zinc deficient: 1.) If you get sick a lot or have immune system issues 2.) Have leaky gut (http://draxe.com/7-signs-symptoms-you-have-leaky-gut/) 3.) If you struggle with diarrhea or IBS 4.) Thinning hair 5.) Inflammatory skin issues like acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis One of the biggest factors in causing zinc deficiency is high levels of emotional stress. The second most common cause of zinc deficiency is over-exercise. The third most common reason your zinc deficient is if you’re pregnant or breast feeding. Lastly, if you’re older, you may tend to have malabsorption, which causes a zinc deficiency. In order to get more zinc in your diet, you need to consume more zinc-rich foods. The top 5 zinc-rich foods are pumpkin seeds, oysters, grass-fed beef, sprouted nuts and seeds, and peas. Additionally, probiotics are a key supplement to take when zinc deficient because it can help your overall absorption of nutrients. For more information on zinc deficiency, you can check out this article: http://draxe.com/zinc-deficiency/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer

07:50
How to Get the Most out of Vitamin Supplements- Thomas DeLauer: When should you take your vitamins? To learn more about how I can help you, head to http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Many factors play a role on how available vitamins and supplements are when you take them. Fat-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamins A, D, E and K- These are stored in the liver and fat stores in your body, so you do not need to consume these every day. They are easy to get from food as they are not easily broken down by heat when cooking. These are the most important vitamins to eat with food, as the name implies, they are only absorbed and used by the body in the presence of fat. These vitamins dissolve in fat and are then delivered to the bloodstream for use in the body. Not much fat is needed, but if taking a supplement, or even eating fruits and veggies, but sure to have some fat added. If you make a healthy smoothie, add some almond butter or you favorite oil, such as macadamia nut oil. When eating salads, do not use fat-free salad dressings! Olive oil and lemon juice are great options. Be careful if you supplement these vitamins and be sure to check with your doctor if you feel you may need to do so. These vitamins are only needed in small quantities and can build up to a dangerous level if too many are taken. Vitamin D is the main fat-soluble vitamin in the US where deficiencies are common. This is due to inadequate exposure to sunlight. Fortified foods and supplements can help. Try to obtain 5-15 minutes of direct sunlight twice per week to avoid a deficiency, and if this is not possible then talk to your doctor about supplementation. Water-Soluble Vitamins: Vitamin C and B-complex vitamins are water soluble vitamins that you need to be sure to include in your diet daily. Unlike fat-soluble vitamins, these vitamins are not stored in your adipose tissue or liver and are in essence washed from your body daily. Food storage and preparation are important when making sure to get sufficient quantities of these vitamins. Deficiencies are uncommon, however vegans do not have a natural source of vitamin B12 and usually need to supplement. While deficiencies are not common, it is still important to consume daily for bodily functioning. As these vitamins dissolve in water, you do not need to take these with foods, although you can if you want to. Minerals: Calcium and Magnesium (2,4) - These are best taken with food and good to take at night. Calcium is linked to improved sleep due to its muscle relaxing abilities and magnesium has calming effects on the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Zinc (2,4) - Take with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. Do not take with dairy as calcium hampers absorption. Also avoid taking with iron as large quantities of iron can also hurt your body’s ability to absorb zinc. Avoid taking excess zinc, which can lead to anemia through suppression of copper absorption. Iron (4) - Best to take on an empty stomach. Avoid taking with zinc, calcium and vitamin E as these can decrease absorption. If you have a sensitive stomach you may not do well when taking iron on an empty stomach. If so, take with a light meal. Probiotics (4) - Best to take 30 minutes before a meal as this is when digestive enzymes, bile salts and stomach acid are at low levels. These levels peak after a meal, so this is the worst time to take a probiotic. Fiber (2) - Be sure to separate taking fiber from other nutritional supplements as fiber can hamper mineral absorption. Fish Oil (4) – Fish Oil is best to take with food and with your multivitamin, or other fat-soluble vitamins, if you take them. The fat in the food that you eat can help to aid in digestion and absorption. As fats take a long time for your body to digest, it is best not to take fish oil pills or eat a fatty meal pre-workout. This can cause digestive upset. Multivitamins: As these contain both water- and fat-soluble vitamins, take with plenty of water and some food with fat in it, but try not to take with dairy as this can reduce your absorption of zinc. 10 Important Signs Your Body Is Asking For Help

04:42
10 Important Signs Your Body Is Asking For Help. 1. PERSISTENT DRY SKIN Dry skin is often uncomfortable and annoying. Our largest organ, the skin will crack, itch and scale if we are not consuming enough vitamins – particularly, Vitamin E – in our daily meals. To alleviate some of these symptoms, try adding more fish, nuts and healthy oils to your diet. 2. BRITTLENESS OF THE HAIR AND/OR NAILS Similar to dry skin, brittle hair or nails usually indicates a nutrient or vitamin deficiency. Low levels of calcium and/or vitamin B can cause these areas to crack, dry, and scale. The solution is to include one or more of the following: whole-grain bread, whole grains, milk, legumes, or potatoes. 3. INCREASED DESIRE OR CONSUMPTION OF SODIUM OR SALTY FOODS Most minerals have a salty composition; so, when the body is craving salt-laden foods (e.g. potato chips, peanuts, dry meat, etc.), it is often an indication that additional mineral supplementation is needed. Also, craving salty foods may be a sign that there is inflammation or an infection somewhere in the body. 4. INCREASED DESIRE OR CONSUMPTION OF SUGARY FOODS Similar to other cravings on this list, the impulse to eat more sugar generally indicates a lack of proper dieting. This aside, there are plenty of ways to counteract these cravings: drink lots of water, eat fresh and leafy greens, and/or eat more healthy and frequently. 5. INCREASED DESIRE OR CONSUMPTION OF RAW FOODS Raw foods (e.g. sushi, sashimi, cheese) may indicate some imbalance within the gastrointestinal or digestive system. The reason: raw foods are effective in alleviating uncomfortable conditions such as gastroenteritis or cramping. Supplement these foods with fresh and leafy vegetables and fruits. 6. INCREASED DESIRE OR CONSUMPTION OF SEAFOOD Here, the problem can be two-fold; either there is a lack of nutrients or minerals (most likely protein), or there is some kind of iodine deficiency. Seafood – in many forms – is a healthy dietary choice. However, be sure to include fresh cuts of meat or poultry, or some sort of substitute for vegans/vegetarians, to ward off such cravings and balance your diet. 7. PSORIASIS Similar to other manifestations of dry skin, the presence of scaling or psoriasis on the arms or elbows is indicative of insufficient vitamin and/or minerals. Vitamins A and C are common culprits. This in mind, try to include foods such as apricots, carrots, or oranges. 8. CRAMPING, POOR SLEEP OR INSOMNIA Of all symptoms, these three are often the most troublesome. Magnesium – a known inhibitor of neuronal activity, and potassium – an important nutrient for brain, heart and muscle health, can alleviate many of these ailments. Foods such as green and leafy vegetables, almonds, nuts, apricots, plums, bananas, and many others, can help suppress or eliminate such physical and psychological symptoms. 9. BLEEDING FROM THE MOUTH OR GUMS Bleeding from the mouth or gums often occurs because of a lack of vitamin C. However, ensuring the proper practice of oral care is essential as well. Vitamin C can be found in many sources: fruits (especially oranges), veggies and garlic. 10. AN INCREASED DESIRE FOR SOUR FOODS AND/OR BEVERAGES Hormonal changes (e.g. in pregnant women) can result in desiring more sour foods or drinks. Additionally, the ingredients contained in sour foods stimulate the liver and gallbladder – potentially indicating a problem with one or both. ......................... Most Important Supplement Category (OVERLOOKED!)

03:42
Get the same supplements used by today’s top athletes http://athleanx.com/x/top-trusted-supplements The most important supplements when it comes to building muscle and making gains should fall into the category of muscle recovery. If you are a natural, unassisted lifter you need to do everything you can to maximize the rate of recovery that your muscles can achieve between workouts. Strength and size changes can occur if you can tip the balance of recovery in your favor. If you can slow muscle breakdown or enhance the rate of muscle repair and regrowth you can achieve a net balance of protein synthesis needed to see visible changes. Too often however, we under recover and don’t see the gains that we would like to. You can improve your body’s ability to recover from your workouts in a few key ways. First, you want to be sure that you are getting in high quality, restful sleep each night. The amount of sleep can vary from person to person, but anywhere between 6-9 hours can be enough provided you are not restless and can sleep deep and uninterrupted. Your nutrition plays a major role in your rate of muscle recovery as well. Provide your muscles with the nutrients that it needs throughout the day and most importantly prior to going to bed, and you can certainly tip the scales in your favor. In this video, I show you some a couple of examples of how we attack the muscle recovery supplement category with our joint recovery and muscle repair supplements. You must remember that complete recovery occurs when both facets are addressed. Joints and muscles are obviously intimately connected since they work in concert to facilitate movement. All too often, people look for shortcut supplements that do nothing to help speed up muscle repair. They try to take testosterone boosters thinking that they can make themselves bigger and speed up muscle growth, not realizing that this type of supplement is dangerous in the first place. They also don’t appreciate the fact that you can have a bigger impact by speeding up repair as long as you are training hard enough in the first place to cause enough damage to spark growth. At ATHLEAN-X, we have the complete ATHLEAN-Rx supplement line that is used by today’s top professional athletes to improve recovery and performance. You can use the same exact supplements to take your training to the next level by heading to http://athleanx.com and getting your complete supplement bundle. Warning Signs You Are Vitamin D Deficient

03:10
Did you know that Vitamin-D isn’t actually a vitamin? It’s a steroid hormone that our bodies produce when we get enough sunshine. We can also get it from certain food sources or from supplements. Whatever it is, getting enough Vitamin-D is vital. Vitamin-D deficiency has been linked to heart disease, breast, colon and prostate-cancer, depression, weight-gain and more. While doctors can’t say for sure that a lack of Vitamin-D causes these conditions, it has been proven that people with higher levels of Vitamin-D have a lower risk of these diseases. In addition to lowering your risk of illness, Vitamin-D plays some very specific roles in the body such as: • Contributing to the formation and preservation of strong and healthy bones • Boosting the immune-system and fighting infection • Helping the muscles function • Helping circulation and heart health Certain categories of people are more at risk of developing Vitamin-D deficiency than others. If you fall into one or more of the following categories, you should get your Vitamin-D levels checked. You’re Over 50 – as we age, our skin doesn’t make as much Vitamin-D from the sun. Our kidneys also convert less Vitamin-D into the form our bodies need it in. You Have Dark Skin – because skin pigment acts as a natural sunscreen, the darker your skin, the more sun exposure you need. It’s estimated that African Americans need as much as 10-times the sun exposure of those with pale skin, to meet Vitamin D needs. You’re Overweight or Obese – Vitamin D is fat-soluble, meaning the more body fat you have, the more Vitamin-D you’ll need. You have Digestive Issues – if you suffer from digestive problems that affect your intestines ability to absorb Vitamin-D from your food, then you may be deficient.  Type of Climate – naturally, if you live in a climate with little or no sun, then your body won’t be able to make all the Vitamin-D it needs from sunshine. Still worried you might be Vitamin-D deficient? Here are some signs you should be watching out for: 1.Depression or Anxiety Low levels of Vitamin-D have been linked with depression and anxiety. The bottom line is, if you’re struggling with low moods or cognitive problems, then it can be a sign you’re lacking in Vitamin D. 2.Achy, Weak or Broken Bones When it comes to bone health, the two most important nutrients are calcium and Vitamin D. If you’re constantly getting achy bones (known as osteomalacia), fractures or breaks, then a Vitamin D deficiency might be to blame. 3.Problems Sleeping If you can’t nod off despite following a perfect night time routine, filling your bedroom with plants to help you sleep and employing a whole host of natural sleep remedies, then it might be that you’re lacking in the sunshine vitamin. Low Vitamin D levels can seriously mess up your sleeping pattern and cause sleep disorders like insomnia, sleep apnea, REM related apnea, unexplained awakenings and inappropriate body movements during sleep. 4.Frequent Infections Since Vitamin D plays a vital role in a well-functioning immune system, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that frequent infections (cause by poor immunity) signal a lack of Vitamin D. German researchers have found that Vitamin D increases your immune function by up to 5 times, while boosting your ability to fight off infections and viruses. 9 Fascinating Things That Happen to Your Body While You Sleep

05:05
How to fall asleep fast? How to wake up easily in the morning? Which sleeping position is better for your health. Did you know that you have four to six dreams at night which is about two thousand dreams per year? Two thousand – what an incredible number! Unfortunately, we forget 80% of all our dreams. At least we can understand what happens to our bodies when we are in the arms of Morpheus. How muscles are paralyzed during sleep. 0:32 When you enter the deepest sleep of all, the muscles of your limbs become paralyzed completely. There is a sleep disorder in which this paralysis is maintained for a few seconds or minutes after waking up. Why do your eyes move during REM sleep? 0:58 All phases of sleep serve a purpose in keeping your body and brain healthy and relaxed. There are five stages of sleep, and each one is deeper than the previous. How does sleep help you grow taller? 1:31 Human growth hormone, known as HGH hormone, is responsible for the regeneration of your bones, muscles, and tissue. When you sleep, this hormone is produced all over your body. Your throat narrows. 2:00 When you sleep, the muscles of your throat relax; therefore, its size decreases. This is one of the reasons you snore. What's sexual arousal during sleep? 2:55 Both men and women experience sexual arousal during sleep. Your brain needs more oxygen, and therefore, a faster flow of blood. This boost affects each organ of your body, including the most intimate ones. What happens to your brain during sleep? 3:21 Your recent experiences combine with the information you’ve stored for years – memories, traumas, emotions, and feelings. This combination creates mysterious and sometimes absurd dreams. Why do I hear sudden explosions while I sleep? 3:58 If it ever happens to you, you’ll feel like a loud explosion made you wake up. You might experience high levels of fear and distress, but in reality, nothing has happened. Does my brain need sleep? 4:28 While you sleep, your brain flushes out the waste that builds up during the day. This mechanism is called the glymphatic system. 💪 The Vitamin That’s Clinically Proven To Increase Your Testosterone After Exercise

04:30
My favorite, clinically proven formula for naturally increasing your testosterone and sex drive: 🤜 http://drsam.co/yt/TestTheFormula You can also watch this video on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_z5fqph5YU Refference: 1. Vijayprasad S, et al, "Effect of vitamin C on male fertility in rats subjected to forced swimming stress." J Clin Diagn Res. 2014 Jul;8(7):HC05-8. ======================================= 💪 The Vitamin That’s Clinically Proven To Increase Your Testosterone After Exercise ======================================= Today I’ll reveal a very common vitamin, that when used at a specific dosage, is clinically proven to increase your testosterone and libido, after you exercise. Most people don’t know, but exercise actually DECREASES your testosterone levels. This is especially true for “endurance” exercises such as running, jogging, biking, etc. Even though lifting weights can actually INCREASE your testosterone levels, for many people this is temporary. Afterwards, there is a big drop in testosterone. So, why does this happen? Well, there are lots of reasons. Lower blood sugar due to glucose depletion in your muscles, increases your cortisol levels and can cause a decrease in testosterone. Stress on your nervous system (CNS) due to an exhaustive or overly strenuous workout, increases your cortisol and will cause a decrease in your testosterone. Not eating well, being depleted of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, causes stress on your body and again, raises your cortisol and decreases your testosterone. As you see - the common problem is STRESS and the increase in your cortisol hormone. There are 3 ways to fix this problem and reduce this from happening: Make sure you have enough food in your body, before AND after exercise. This means have a good, light meal about an hour or two before exercise. And make sure to eat carbs and protein soon after your workout, to replenish your empty glucose and protein levels. Keep your workouts short. No more than 30-45 minutes. No more than 3-4x weekly. Don’t kill yourself. You should leave the gym feeling GOOD and refreshed. Not as if you just got done wrestling Kingkong and you’re dead tired. Take vitamins and herbs after your workout, that are clinically proven to reduce cortisol and increase your testosterone. And one of the simplest ways to do this is to take Vitamin C. Recent research shows that taking about 500 mgs of Vitamin C, before AND after your workout,1 can Decrease your stress hormone, cortisol. Dramatically reduce the drop in testosterone levels. Improve sperm count and the desire to have sex. There have been many other clinical studies showing how powerful Vitamin C is at reducing stress. Combined with other ingredients that boost your testosterone, and you have a winning formula. Personally, here’s what I’ve been doing for years. An hour before exercise: I have a light meal, maybe a protein shake. I take 1000 mgs of Buffered Vitamin C 2 pills of AlphaViril to boost my testosterone. 30-60 minutes after my workout: I have another meal, carbs + protein. More calories. I take more Vitamin C, this time 2000 mgs And I take another 2-3 pills of AlphaViril to decrease my negative hormones and boost my testosterone even further. You can find out more about how AlphaViril works, by clicking the special link to a bonus video about it. Combined with high dose Vitamin C, even 500 mgs before and after your workout, the combination makes dramatic improvements in your testosterone, muscle mass, fat loss and sex drive. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. Paid Partnership Www.philipstein.com How lack of Sleep Can Affect You | Home Remedy and Tips to Get Good Sleep Hello! My Tribe, Are you one of those, who is so tied up with work commitments and responsibilities that you don’t get enough time to sleep? Is sleep the last thing on your priority list? Or perhaps you think it’s okay to cover up on sleep on a weekend? Well, it’s a fact that we’re not sleeping enough. Our fast-paced lives demand more time, and often that comes at the expense of our sleep. We insert coffee, wade through foggy mornings, and suffer from darkened eyes and irritability. However, it’s time to wake up and realise that not getting enough sleep can impact our lives way beyond feeling grumpy during the day. So let me explain how seriously lack of sleep can impact your health. Well, there’s a huge list of things that happen when you don’t get enough sleep: • Short term memory and learning problems • Irritability • Skin Aging • Weight gain and impulse control problems • Alzheimer’s-linked toxin build-up in the brain • Vision problems • Heart disease risk • Slowed reactions • Immune system issues • Bad decision-making • Depleted physical drive and function • Frequent Colds • Risk of Cancer • Genetic Disruption • Gastrointestinal Problems • Migraines • Lack of alertness • Blood Pressure • Diabetes • Depression • Obesity • Hormonal Imbalance So next time you want to skip sleep to be on schedule, or you want to compromise it for another hour of binge watching a show, consider how it is hampering your health. Well, now that we know the hazardous impact of less sleep, let’s look at five things you can do that can help you sleep better 1) Schedule a sleep appointment 2) Practice a relaxing bedtime ritual 3) Make your surroundings comfortable 4) Try aromatherapy 5) Take a hot bath 6) Wear a Phillip Stein sleep bracelet If you find it challenging to sleep well, try sleep bracelet from Philip Stein. Go on their website www.philipstein.com type on UMA10 to get 10% discount on all PS products. And one more thing! Please don’t find a quick fix in caffeine. Because caffeine might help you stay awake when you need to, but it is not going to help you in your health journey. Instead, start with cultivating healthier habits one by one, so that you can follow it in the long run and live a better life. Think of sustainability and not short-cuts. I believe, a good night’s sleep is one of the biggest success formulas, and the best habit you can cultivate in your life. So sleep well yourself, and educate the people around you to do the same. Your heart, your fluid, your energy, your nutrients in and out of the cell is dependent on the sodium and potassium pump. However, potassium is the most difficult to get from the diet. High levels of cortisol (stress), insulin, sugar, diuretics, excessive salt, surgery, all can deplete potassium. However, you need between 7-10 cups of salad or veggies to get your daily requirement of 4700mg. Hey guys, Dr. Berg here. I want to do a video on the most important electrolyte. Let me explain what an electrolyte is, if you ever take salt and put it in the water and dissolve it, the sodium and chloride disconnect and they become two separate minerals and that fluid is very electrically conductive. Basically electrolytes have to do with minerals that help conduct electricity in the body. They help with a lot of different things. As far as the electrolytes, it will be like potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, chlorides, and all those minerals. Potassium out of all the electrolytes is the one that we need in a very large quantities. Why is that? Why do we need potassium in a large amount? I am talking 4,700 mg to 6,000 mg every single day and that is equivalent to 7 to 10+ cups of salad or vegetables every single day. Let’s go dig further into exactly to why we need potassium. There are something in the body called sodium-potassium pump. It is built in a little protein connected to an enzyme, it forms a whole enzyme in the surface of your cells and you will have between 8,000 to 30million of this little tiny pumps and they are little generators that generate electricity to allow things to go through the cell so it take a lot of energy, in fact the energy of 1/3 of your diet goes to running those pumps. You also have another pump in the stomach called the hydrogen potassium ATPas, it is basically another pump that is built with a potassium that allows you to create stomach acid to help you digest. This pumps are also in the muscles, nervous systems and the pumps in the nervous system used about 60% of your body’s chloric intake of energy. In other words, these pumps are really critically important in exchanging nutrition, glucose, amino acids and other minerals to allow them to transport in other cell. Potassium is essential for building the pumps to allow these functions right here, they charge the cell electrically, so your cells have a certain voltage to allow things to work and go in and out of the cell to create different energy. In fact your energy that you have that controls your metabolism is controlled partly by these little pump. So it charges the cell electrically, it gives you energy. It helps the muscle contracts and relax because it allows calcium to go into the cell as well. It controls the transport of calcium.
