How to MAKE Your Body MORE Alkaline, Less Acidic to PREVENT CANCER with NATURAL CURES? Why pH is Crucial to Health? Most of us never consider the acid/alkaline balance of our blood, but a proper pH is a crucial aspect to health. Many doctors stress the importance of pH because a balanced pH protects us from the inside out. Disease and disorder, they say, cannot take root in a body whose pH is in balance. It is an imbalance of acidity and alkalinity that allows unhealthy organisms to flourish, damages tissues and organs and compromises the immune system. So what is proper pH? What we call pH is short for the potential of hydrogen. It is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of our body’s fluids and tissues. It is measured on a scale from 0 to 14. The more acidic a solution is, the lower its pH. The more alkaline, the higher the number is. A pH of 7 is perfectly neutral. The healthiest pH is one that is slightly alkaline. Optimally, we want a pH of 7.365. This number will fluctuate throughout the day, but the normal range is between 6 and 7.5. What affects pH? Normally, the kidneys maintain our electrolyte levels, those of calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. When we are exposed to acidic substances, these electrolytes are used to combat acidity. High degrees of acidity force our bodies to rob minerals from the bones, cells, organs and tissues. Cells end up lacking enough minerals to properly dispose of waste or oxygenate completely. Vitamin absorption is compromised by mineral loss. Toxins and pathogens accumulate in the body and the immune system becomes suppressed. What causes acidity in your body? Alcohol and drug use Antibiotic overuse Artificial sweeteners Chronic stress Declining nutrient levels in foods due to industrial farming Low levels of fiber in the diet Lack of exercise Excess animal meats in the diet (from non-grass fed sources) Excess hormones from foods, health and beauty products and plastics Exposure to chemicals and radiation from household cleansers, building materials, computers, cell phones and microwaves Food coloring and preservatives Over-exercise Pesticides and herbicides Pollution Poor chewing and eating habits Processed and refined foods Shallow breathing What are the effects of acidity on health? Allergies, asthma and congestion Fatigue Frequent colds Headaches Inflammation Joint and muscle pain Skin problems Ulcers Weight gain How Can You Achieve a Proper pH? Even though there are many sources of acidity and toxicity in our environments, the biggest contributor to unbalanced pH is our diet. Fruits and vegetables contain potassium, a natural buffer to acidity. The western diet contains little in the way of fresh and raw fruits and vegetables. Processed foods contain tons of sodium chloride–table salt–which constricts blood vessels and creates acidity. Eating too much animal protein causes sulfuric acid to build up in the blood as amino acids are broken down. All grains, whole or not, create acidity in the body. Americans ingest most of their plant food quota in the form of processed corn or wheat. Our problem is more a matter of not taking in enough alkaline-promoting foods rather than taking in too much acid. Calcium-rich dairy products cause some of the highest rates of osteoporosis. That’s because they create acidity in the body! When your blood stream becomes too acidic, it will steal calcium (a more alkaline substance) from the bones to try to balance out the pH level. So the best way to prevent osteoporosis is to eat lots of alkaline green leafy veggies! Acid-Forming Foods Cold cuts Corn flakes Eggs Lentils Oats Conventional Meats: beef, chicken and pork Milk Pasta Peanuts and walnuts Rice White bread Whole wheat Certain foods on this list, like eggs and walnuts, might be acidic in your body, but don’t let that scare you away from eating them. They contain a host of health benefits like antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. A healthy balance is what we are shooting for where pH is concerned–it is possible to become too alkaline. Alkaline Foods Fruits, mushrooms and vegetables (especially citrus, dates, raisins and spinach) promote an alkaline pH. Strangely enough, acidic fruits such as grapefruit and tomatoes don’t create acidity in the body. They do just the opposite and contribute to an alkaline environment. Raw foods Uncooked fruits and vegetables are said to be biogenic or “life-giving.” Cooking foods depletes alkalinizing minerals. Increase your intake of raw foods, and try juicing or lightly steaming fruits and vegetables. Alkaline Water Alkaline water has a pH of 9 to 11. Distilled water is just fine to drink. Water filtered with a Reverse Osmosis filter is slightly acidic, but it’s still a far better option than tap water or purified bottled water. Adding pH drops, lemon or lime, or baking soda to your water boosts alkalinity.

Hello! My tribe, My heartfelt gratitude to all of you for showering me with so much love. Its so nice to know that you all are loving the content on my blog and channel. Today I am going to talk about something that affects our overall health on a big way. Its about alkalizing our body that can help us loose weight and avoid many diseases. So lets start from the basic, being a certified health coach, I always like to explain thing from the basic level for all of you to understand your body better. I’m sure you must have got the hang of how having a ph balance in the body is so very important! Now that we know balancing ph is important. But how to do that? So let me tell you a few things you can do which are super easy and super effective to help you keep the ph balance! Drink warm water with organic raw apple cider vinegar or a squeeze of lemon in the morning. Apple cider vinegar helps the body maintain a ph balance by restoring the body’s alkaline state. Also, lemon has vitamin C which helps in getting rid of acidity and prevents acid reflux. So including this one drink in your daily routine can work wonders to maintain the ph balance in your body throughout the day. Avoid caffeine sugar and alcohol For most of us, to imagine the start of our day without that mug of coffee, indulging in sweets after a meal and ending the day without having a drink may seem unfathomable. These three things make us feel so good, that giving them up looks quite challenging. But let me tell you, that happens only at first. Although caffeine sharpens our thought process, sugar gives us the feel good high and alcohol relaxes us, these three increase the acid levels in the body and make us more irritable and lethargic in the long run! Plus, consuming these foods cause dependency which is anyway not a great thing for your health. So cut this crap from your diet and balance blood sugar, reduce pathogenic bacteria in the gut and be in a fantastic mood always. Drink fresh organic green smoothies If making drastic changes to your diet is tough, there is one change you can make which is fast and easy and which will make a huge difference – it is also something I do every day! Drink fresh organic green juices and smoothies. I have been living by this habit for years and it has helped me tremendously. Adding a green drink to your routine is a superb way to add more veggies to your diet. This helps alleviate mood cravings and provides you with a burst of nutrition. The rule is pretty simple, if you don’t give your body enough nutrition, cravings kick in, and once you give into those cravings, you’re going to grab unhealthy foods that will cause acidity and disrupt your ph balance. Greens are full of nutrition and also fiber which keep the digestive system on track. So start pumping your body with greens and get the green drink cravings instead! Eat leafy green veggies Green veggies are alkalizing to the body, so increase the amount of green veggies in your diet. Include it in your salad or make a soup of it, but try to add it in every meal. Go for green or dark vegetables such as beetroot, avocado, broccoli, spinach, kale, peas, beans and cucumber. Colourful veggies contain enzymes that help to break down food. Also, green vegetables are great sources of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. So focus on replacing processed foods with steamed, microwaved, roasted or raw vegetables to avoid adding more acid-inducing fat to your diet. Eat slacked nuts and seeds Nuts and seeds are nutrient-dense powerhouses which provide protein, fiber, healthy fats, enzymes and a number of vitamins and minerals. You can eat them whole, in butters or use them as nut creams and nut milks to make sauces or smoothies. Nuts are mostly low acid superfoods that have high levels of enzymes which help to keep the digestive system in place and also reduce food cravings. So to beat the hunger blues and avoid acid reflux, keep a handful of nuts handy. But people suffering from heart diseases should avoid nuts altogether and would benefit from substituting nuts with green veggies instead ! Also to balance the ph levels add that as we learn to listen to our body more on your journey of awareness to better health we will know when we are overdoing any particular foods. Key is eating a colorful diet and variety is the spice of life so keep changing the greens and buy more local seasonal produce . Always remember, our body has a limit, there is no question what we eat, think and do, directly affects our body, so I hope this made you understand our body better for you to start have a balanced approach to everything that you do. If your body's pH is highly acidic most of the time, you can increase your risk for a variety of diseases. A pH balance of 0 to 6 is acid, a pH balance of 7 is neutral, and a pH balance of 8 to 14 is alkaline. If you have been eating a lot of acidic foods, you can adjust the balance by learning how to correct high acid pH with high alkali foods. Monitor your stress level If you made dietary changes and included less acidic foods in your diet and still notice a high acid pH balance, stress could be the culprit. Utilize stress reduction techniques to help reduce acidity. Change your diet Acidic foods may include meat (animal protein), dairy, white rice, wheat and white flour, including pasta. Amaranth, millet, and quinoa are good grains. All meats are acidic though beef, pork and shellfish are the worst. Soy milk is alkaline, green tea and tisanes are alkaline, but black tea and alcohol are acidic. Raw spinach is great, but cooked spinach not so much (though it’s not the worst). Check your medications as certain medications can cause your pH balance to be acidic If you are not sure, speak to your doctor. If the medication is necessary and you cannot avoid it, you may help combat the acidic pH by eating alkaline foods. Use a pH testing strip to test your pH balance. You can either test your urine or saliva. Test 60 minutes before eating a meal and 2 hours after eating. This will give you the best range of pH. Test twice a week. Monitor your alcohol consumption If you have problems with stomach acid, you may need to reduce or even stop drinking alcohol. The biggest culprits are beverages with a low ethanol concentration 5%, such as beer and wine. Fermented alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, champagne, sherry, etc.) are considered powerful stimulators of stomach acid production. No direct link has been discovered between alcohol and stomach ulcers, but people who have ulcers are also more likely to have cirrhosis of the liver, a condition often caused by heavy alcohol consumption. Scott: You talked about being acidic and that that eventually leads to death. What are some of the dangers along the way, though, of being too acidic? What are some of the steps that our body goes through? Dr. Robert O. Young: Well, there's seven steps, or what I call seven stages.  1) The first one is I'm tired. If you're saying that, you're in stage one or step one acidosis.  2) The second one is irritation or sensitivities. You may have allergies or skin outbreaks, acne. This is stage two acidosis, or step two.  3) Stage three is when you start constantly clearing your throat or coughing. Your body is actually neutralizing acids or buffering acids, producing a sticky mucus. This is stage three acidosis, or step three.  4) Step four is when you're in an inflammatory state. You cannot be in an inflammatory state or have pain without acid.  5) Stage five is when the acid that you should be eliminating becomes solidified. This is when it builds up on the walls of the arteries and sets the stage for a stroke. Most people that are in a stage of solidification can check that by testing their cholesterol, because cholesterol increases in the presence of acidity to buffer excess acid to protect the organs that sustain life. It's not that cholesterol is bad. It's trying to protect you against your poor acidic lifestyle and dietary choices.  6) Step six is ulcerations, and finally,  7) Step seven is degeneration. Now you've been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, or a degenerative or osteoporosis, a degenerative condition that's a reflection of what you're eating, what you're drinking, and what you're thinking.

The process starts by reducing the amount of acid you put into your body. Alkalizing foods will help you balance out the acidic foods you do eat and help your body maintain the optimal pH of 7.35 without having to neutralize acid by storing it excess body fat. Alkaline foods have a pH higher than 7.0. Unlike acidic foods that can be as low as 2.5, alkaline foods are usually only slightly above 7.0. This means it can take a lot of alkaline foods to balance out a smaller amount of acidic foods. Mostly all fruits and vegetables are alkaline but to gain maximum benefit one must try and consume high alkaline foods. Foods that are high in alkaline content can help achieve optimal benefits from the food we eat while at the same time keeping our body ph balanced. Children and senior citizens have small appetites and by giving them such foods one can insure that they get enough nutrition even in small portions. To maintain a healthy body ph one needs to consume 60 % alkaline foods and the rest 40% can be acidic but to restore a healthy ph balance the food that is high in alkaline content should make up about 80% of the entire food intake. Onions, barely grass and parsley are also high in alkaline content. Onions can be eaten raw for maximum benefit or cooked with other vegetables. Green vegetables juices are also considered to be part of highly alkaline foods. Salt intake should be limited but always use sea salt which has iodine so as to get alkalized by salt too. A bit of salt can make a glass of vegetable juice quite tingling for the taste buds. Apart from vegetables, fruits are also highly alkaline. Alkaline food is tasty and provides health benefits that genuinely improve our lifestyle in the long run. What is Alkaline food, you ask? THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR BODY'S pH BALANCE Our bodies live and die at the cellular level. The billions of cells in our bodies must maintain alkalinity, in order to function and stay alive. The first line of defense against disease is a proper pH balance. Disease can only grow in an acidic body, which makes a condition favorable for the growth of bacteria, yeast, fungus, mold, viruses, and any other unwanted organisms. Cancer always strikes those with an over-acidic body. An acidic state causes a lack of oxygenation at the cellular level. When the pH level falls below 7.4, there is less than the maximum oxygen in the blood. Blood carries the maximum oxygen at pH 7.4 (alkaline). Without proper oxygenation, unfriendly bacteria, mold, and viruses will prosper. When the human body is in an acidic state, it will try to shield itself from the damaging acid by storing the acid in fat cells. The body tries to prevent the acid from eating holes in tissues. When the acid level is high in the body, calcium is also depleted. Your body may make fat cells in order to store unwanted acid for its own protection. This process may save your vital organs from severe damage. By returning to a balanced pH level, you may lose unwanted fat cells. Osteoporosis is an acidic problem. As the body becomes more acidic, calcium is depleted. The body will then leach calcium from bones, teeth, and tissue to make up for this loss. One of the first warning signs is calcium deposits in the body, which come from the calcium in our teeth and bones and not from nutritional calcium. Most fruits and vegetables, including citrus, make your body alkaline. You need 8 servings of fresh fruit and vegetables to keep your body alkaline. Meat, dairy, and grains make your body acidic. I recommend that your food intake should be 75% alkaline foods. Not only do foods make your body alkaline or acidic. Emotions such as anger, hate, sadness, despair, and loneliness also change your body chemistry to acidic. Happy emotions, such as love, make your body pH alkaline. You can test your ph level by putting pH paper, which you buy at your local health food store, in your mouth and wetting it with your saliva. Then compare the color the paper turns with the given chart. The optimal pH level is between 7.2-7.4.
