04:18
Vulvovaginitis is the inflammation or the infection of the vagina and the vulva. This is a most common condition which affects the women and girls of all ages. Normally the estrogen present in the body makes the vaginal lining thick and supple. So it also encourages the growth of lactobacilli, which keeps the vaginal flora acidic and keeps the vagina from harmful disease causing bacteria. When the normal balance of the vulva and the vagina gets disturbed, that is when the infection of the vulva and the vagina sets in. the infections of the vulva and vagina cab be due to bacteria, fungus, viral, sexually transmitted disease and also the irritant, chemicals can also cause these infections. The management of Vulvovaginitis depends on the type of infection present. The most common vulvovaginal infection is the yeast infection. It is cause by fungus. It is called candidiasis yeast infection affects 70% women atleast once in their lifetime. Use of antibiotics increases the risk of yeast infection. Yeast infection is common in pregnancy and also in patients who have diabetes and HIV infection. In all these conditions the normal vaginal flora gets disturbed. Yeast infection causes redness and swelling in the vulva, thick white discharge and itching. Infection can be tested by antifungal drugs which is called as fluconazole, also local application of cotrimazole in the form of creams or pesseries. Predisposing causes of candidiasis should be treated. Next common cause of vulvovaginitis is bacterial vaginosis, which is caused by bacteria. It affects atleast 30% women in their lifetime. This infection produces foul smelling, thin watery discharge and itching. It can be treated with antibiotics like metronidazole and clindamycin orally and also local application of antibiotics and pesseries is effective. Trichomoniasis is caused by an infection called trichomonas vaginalis. It is characterized by foul smelling discharge, pain during urination and itching. It is treated with metronidazole and tinidazole. The male partner should always be treated. vulvovaginitis is also common in children and this is due to lack of estrogen. Vulvovaginitis can occur in menopausal conditions also. In post-menopausal women, there is atrophy of the vulvovaginal structures, which causes infections. It is due to lack of hormones. In this condition we give estrogen creams to the patient. These patients will have dryness and itching in the vagina. Proper hygiene is also important to present vulvovaginal infections. Handwash before and after using restrooms, using loose garments and avoiding irritants like talc powder etc.

Bone Infection, Osteomyelitis, Briefly - Everything You Need To Know - Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

03:34
Dr. Ebraheim’s educational animated video describes the condition of Bone Infection and Osteomyelitis in asimple and easy way, telling you all you need to know about those conditions. Chronic osteomyelitis is an infection in a bone. It may be an incurable problem. What happens with bone infections (osteomyelitis)? Usually, bacteria causes infection in the bone. Leukocytes are attracted to the area and secrete enzymes in an attempt to kill the bacteria. Blood flow to the area is decreased and a devitalized, necrotic bone is formed called sequestrum. A sequestrum is infected dead bone resulting from osteomyelitis. Haversian canals surround blood vessels and nerve cells throughout the bone. The sequestrum has no connection to normal bone through the Haversian system (osteon). Due to avascular nature of the sequestrum, antibiotics cannot reach the sequestrum or the bacteria. In fact, the bacteria enters the bone cells and hides inside the bone cells. The involucrum is new bone formation around the sequestrum. The body is trying to seal off the infection by forming new bone. The sequestrum will drain through the sinus. Biopsy of the sinus is not representative. Multiple deep samples are needed. Biopsy of the sinus is important in long standing cases of osteomyelitis to rule out squamous cell sarcoma. Principles of surgical treatment for osteomyelitis: Open the involucrum Remove the sequestrum Saucerize the bone: make sure a pathological fracture isn’t created. Stabilize if needed (external fixator is usually preferred) Fill cavity with bone chips, cement or muscle flap if needed: antibiotics usually for 6 weeks (organism specific). Recurrence of infection is high – about 30%. Dr. Kheya Ghosh Uttam: What is Invasive Candidiasis

02:50
Invasive candidiasis is an infection caused by a yeast (a type of fungus) called Candida. Unlike Candida infections in the mouth and throat (also called “thrush”) or vaginal “yeast infections,” invasive candidiasis is a serious infection that can affect the blood, heart, brain, eyes, bones, and other parts of the body. Candidemia, a bloodstream infection with Candida, is a common infection in hospitalized patients. Dr. Kheya Ghish Uttam tell you to how to prevent Invasive Candidiasis infection. Symptoms of Invasive Candidiasis : People who develop invasive candidiasis are often already sick from other medical conditions, so it can be difficult to know which symptoms are related to a Candida infection. However, the most common symptoms of invasive candidiasis are fever and chills that don’t improve after antibiotic treatment for suspected bacterial infections. Other symptoms can develop if the infection spreads to other parts of the body, such as the heart, brain, eyes, bones, or joints. What Are Childrens Yeast Infections?

07:20
cravings and the presentations. The signs and symptoms will usually dictate what's going on there. You may find that a bit presumptuous or say, "Eric, how can you do that? You're not medically qualified. You're not diagnosing. How the heck can you say it's a yeast infection based on what you're seeing and treating it." I can tell you now clinical observation is the gold standard according to a professor of medicine a few years ago in America. When you get quite experienced in the clinic, you start realizing that you don't need to have paralysis from analysis all the time. You don't need to damn well test every single thing that comes through the door. It's expensive and sometimes a test can even be wrong and put you on the wrong track. What won't deceive you is your own eyes and your own experience. And, generally, you'll find that by working on that sixth sense or that hunch that you get and treating and then seeing the clinical result, you're going to get a lot of positive feedback or negative feedback. You're going to know if you're on the right track or not. Now you may think that's placebo effect. I don't really care what you think. All I care about is the agreement I have with my patient. A patient comes in, pays me a fee, is looking for results, I'm going to try and work to give that patient that result. End off. Let's move on. We've got that out of the way. With the children, I tend to look very carefully at the desire for sugar. Now you may, if you're an older person, know a bit about Dr. Ben Feingold's work back in the '70s on identifying calories and flavorings with children and working out that certain food colors, some preservatives, created behavioral disturbances in children. This is quite important, groundbreaking, early work by a physician who identified some core chemicals in foods that could actually affect the behavior of a person. Feingold went on to do a lot of work, I believe, in the prison system. It was quite useful in helping institutions out on correcting and modifying behavior based on his observations with food. What alarms me today with young people is the amazing amount of soda drinks and energy drinks that young people have in their diets. Liters and liters of this stuff a week laced with caffeine, laced with Taurine, laced with sugars, laced with all these colors and sodium benzoate and caramel and all this crap in these drinks the kids are drinking affecting their mood, their behavior, and their gut functions. All these phosphates they're taking in to ruin their stomach and pancreatic function. We're seeing alarming incidents increase in pancreatic cancers. We're seeing a big increase in autism. We're seeing a big increase in a whole raft of problems. One of the first things I look at is the consumption of soda drinks. It's a key thing. I look at also the consumption of specific foods. We had a patient only about four or five days ago now. A lady brought me this boy about eight years old with major behavioral problems, incredible behavioral problems. I had him in my room here. He was pulling all the books off the shelves. He was banging my guitar and he was grabbing some plants I've got and he was really out of control. The poor mom; the mom is separated, which usually happens when their partner went, and their child's got massive behavioral issues. But when I questioned the mother about the diet, the child was having up to two kilos of cheese per week. That's 2,000 grams of cheese a week and five bananas a day. And the mother thought this to be quite good because these were healthy foods. You can clearly see how some people have distorted views on what healthy really is. This child wasn't having a lot of sweet stuff, but the bananas are a key think underpinning this. Bananas are quite a sugar, starchy food. I look for these strong aberrations, these strong changes in behavior and the desires that the child will have. But more than anything, I look at the behavioral change that happens to the child when the caregiver takes his food or drink away, and that can be quite dramatic. In some cases, I've heard mom's telling me that windows were smashed or chairs were thrown through walls when food's remitted. After a week, the child went out of control. This tells you how these foods can really affect the brain and the gut.

Allergies, Antibiotics & The Immune System w/ Dr. Leo Galland

01:00:55
Episode #136: Leo Galland, MD – The Allergy Solution: learn the top ways to uncover hidden allergies and how to rebalance your immune system. ➢ Dr. Galland's New book http://amzn.to/1VUDNSs ➢ Listen to the Audio in iTunes: http://highintensityhealth.com/itunes The big take-home from this interview and new book, The Allergy Solution, is that our environment has changed. We talked about new research that shows how environmental toxins may actually be causing plants to produce more allergens. Even more, environmental compounds may be causing your immune system to be increasingly susceptible to allergens. So, it’s a vicious cycle. Dr. Galland says the solution is not to suppress allergies with natural compounds, but to remove the triggers and also the prime protective T-regulatory cells. T-regulatory cells help keep inflammation in check. Hear about the top five ways you can give your T-regulatory cells and immune system a boost. --------------------------------------Lets Connect---------------------------------- ● Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MikeMutzelMS ● Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/metabolic_mike --------------------------------------Key Takeaways---------------------------------- 05:02 A New View of Allergies  At the beginning of the century, hardly anyone had allergies. In the US, at least 30% of people suffer from allergies. US government data indicates that over half of Americans will experience an allergic reaction during their lifetime. 12:50: Pollution Makes Pollen More Allergenic   Outdoor air pollution increases the allergenicity of the world in which we live. The US department of agriculture planted ragweed in the inner city of Baltimore, in the suburbs and in the countryside 40 miles away. The inner city urban ragweed plants grew twice as big as the rural plants and produced five times the amount of pollen. 20:45: Antibiotic soaps and Food Allergies When your skin touches Triclosan, the antibiotic soap, it is absorbed and travels throughout your body. Researchers measured the level of Triclosan in nasal secretions. Fifty percent of the people tested, had Triclosan in their nose. Triclosan is supposed to be antibacterial, but it changes the microbiome in the nose to increase the ability of dangerous staph bacteria to attach to human cells. If you have Triclosan in your nose, you have a greater amount of staph in your nose. It is a major cause of sinus infection and staph releases and secretes proteins called super antigens. If you are making them in your nose, they are in the mucus and you are swallowing them. Super antigens screw up your immune system. They inactivate a group of white blood cells called regulatory T-cells or T-regs. T-regs keep your immune system from over-reacting. People with allergies have defective T-reg cells. Studies done in Europe show that people who have nasal polyps, associated with chronic nasal allergies, inflammation and sinus infections, have a very high rate of food allergy. Study participants were more allergic to food than to environmental allergens. Nasal polyps are associated with staph. A study measured the amount of Triclosan in children’s urine. There was a direct relationship between the level of Triclosan in the urine and the likely hood that the children would have allergies. 26:48 The Microbiome: A lack of diversity of microbes in your gut, in your respiratory tract, and in your nasal mucosa is highly associated with allergy. The micobiome or fungal part of the microbiome is now being explored. As our microbial diversity is shrinking, the fungal organisms are taking over. The microbes living in our bodies have a profound affect upon your immune system. Two thirds of your immune system is located in your gut. The gut is the training center for your immune system. The lymphocytes in your gut circulate throughout your body and communicate information, returning to the gut. The gut is where the immune system gets most of its information. Antibacterials, antibiotics, herbicides and pesticides kill bacteria. Glyphosate (in Roundup) is in Roundup Ready GMO foods, because the plants have been designed to resist its effects. Glyphosate is an antibiotic. When chickens eat food containing glyphosate, their gut bacteria is screwed up and it encourages the growth of harmful bacteria.

How To TREAT A VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION IN WOMEN Naturally

01:44
HOW TO GET RID OF VAGINAL YEAST INFECTION? LEARN home remedies to cure yeast infections in women. What causes a vaginal yeast infection? You guessed it: yeast! But did you know that the same type of fungal yeast that grows outdoors on trees and plants is actually very similar to the type that can develop inside the body and lead to an infection? It’s true! A yeast infection, also known as Candida, is basically caused by a group of microscopic fungi or yeast called Candida albicans. It generally affects the vaginal area but can also develop around dentures, under the breasts, lower abdomen, nail beds, and beneath skin folds. Factors that can increase the risk of getting a yeast infection are pregnancy, stress, chronic health conditions, diabetes, rapid use of oral contraceptives, steroids and antibiotics. Vaginal yeast infections are a type of vaginitis, which really means inflammation or infection of the vagina. While there are a number of different health conditions that are categorized together under the broad term of vaginitis (including bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis and non-infectious vaginitis), vaginal yeast infections are the most common type. Women can also get yeast infections after menopause due to declining estrogen levels, which thin the vaginal walls. Most men and women suffer from a yeast infection at least once. Yeast Infection in Men Yeast infections are usually associated with women, but men aren't safe from these infections, either. A yeast infection of the penis is called candidal (or candida) balanitis, or balanitis thrush. The term "balanitis" refers to an infection of the glans penis, which is the head of the penis.Unlike with vaginal yeast infections, penile yeast infections are usually sexually acquired, when a man has sex with someone who has a yeast infection. But yeast infection in men isn't considered a sexually transmitted disease because men can get the infection without having sex. https://www.stylecraze.com/articles/effective-home-remedies-for-yeast-infection/ While the type of yeast that causes vaginal yeast infections as well as yeast infection can be completely un-harmful, at some point its levels can go high enough to take over our body’s “good bacteria” and cause a vaginal infection or worse. Signs and Symptoms Some of the signs of a yeast infection are itching, burning or swelling in and around the affected area. If it is a vaginal yeast infection, there will be pain or discomfort in the vagina during intercourse, a burning feeling when urinating, irritated skin around the opening to the vagina (vulva and labia), redness and swelling , slight bleeding and odourless vaginal discharge.  The good news is there are several natural steps you can take to get rid of a vaginal yeast infection for good. Take a look at these three home remedies I recommend the most to prevent and/or treat this issue that’s too many women just can’t seem to shake. Home Remedy 1: Coconut oil for is effective in yeast infection treatment 1. Make a mixture with equal amounts of coconut oil and cinnamon oil.  2. Apply the mixture on the affected skin area to control the growth of the infection.  3. You can also apply coconut oil externally on the affected areas three times a day. This is the first yeast infection treatment. Home Remedy 2: Apple Cider vinegar for curing yeast infection 1. Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with one cup of warm water and drink it twice daily for a few days. 2. Prepare a hot bath and add some apple cider vinegar. 3. Soak your body in this bath for about an hour. 4. Soon, the skin irritation and itching will lessen. This is the 2nd home remedy for yeast infection. Home Remedy 3: Garlic For Treating yeast infection 1. Crush a few garlic cloves and make a paste out of it. 2. Apply the garlic paste directly onto the affected skin area. If you’re familiar with the symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection already, then you can easily treat the condition at home on your own.

Diaper Rashes in Babies & Infants (Pediatric Advice)

Dr. Paul's FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Paulthomasmd/106480022715622?fref=ts TWITTER: https://twitter.com/Paulthomasmd WEB SITE: http://drpaul.md/ MUSIC BY CASTA: (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/castareid?fref=ts) DIAPER RASHES IN BABIES & INFANTS Diaper rash can be caused by a burning of the skin from the ammonia in the urine or acidity of the stool. The majority of diaper rashes are just in the contact-surfaces where the stool or urine has had contact with the skin. Barrier creams work great to prevent the stool or urine from having direct contact with the skin. Use the white diaper creams with zinc and apply it during every diaper change. Apply generously, like frosting. The second most common rash is from yeast or Candida. Little babies may also have thrush (white on the gums, cheeks, and tongue). The Candida rash is typically in the creases of the thighs, around the anus, and for girls, also in the vaginal creases. I recommend that you alternate two different anti-fungal creams, one each diaper change. This will help to avoid the resistance that some yeast has developed to anti-fungals. The final form of diaper rash is very rare. This is a peri-anal strep infection, and occurs in less than 1% of diaper rashes. Just like you can get strep throat, babies on rare occasions can get a strep infection around their anus. This rash tends to be beefy-red and will require a visit to your doctor for antibiotics.

Cedars-Sinai researchers have discovered that the vitamin has the potential to provide a powerful weapon to fight superbugs and antibiotic-resistant staph infections that health experts see as a threat to public health. B3 is one of 8 B vitamins. It is also known as niacin (nicotinic acid) and has 2 other forms, niacinamide (nicotinamide) and inositol hexanicotinate, which have different effects from niacin. Foods high in Nicotinamide (or Vitamin B3) include Brewer's Yeast, Sunflower Seeds, Raw Peanuts and Beets. Interestingly Beet Juice & Yeast have been shown to have remarkable cancer killing attributes. Possibly due to the sugars in the beets causing a beneficial form of fermentation to occur with the B vitamins in the Brewer's Yeast. The research, published in the September 2012 edition of The Journal of Clinical Investigation, found that high doses of the nicotinamide form of vitamin B3 stimulated a specific gene (CEBPE), enhancing white blood cells’ ability to combat staph infections, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA. “It’s critical that we find novel antimicrobial approaches to treat infection and not rely so heavily on antibiotics,” said George Liu, MD, PhD, a pediatric infectious disease physician at Cedars-Sinai’s Maxine Dunitz Children’s Health Center and co-senior author of the study. “That’s why this discovery is so exciting. Our research indicates this common vitamin is potentially effective in fighting off and protecting against one of today’s most concerning public health threats.” Most staph infections today are caused by antibiotic resistant Staph aureus. The infections can cause serious, sometimes life-threatening illness. The indiscriminate use of antibiotics by doctors has only led to a rapid rise and threatening spread of these resistant germs. In laboratory tests with mice and human blood, Cedars-Sinai scientists found that vitamin B3 increased by up to 1,000 fold the ability of the immune system to kill staph bacteria. A feat impossible via standard antibiotics. Beyond its findings related to vitamin B3, the study indicates that similar targeting of the CEBPE gene with other compounds may offer a new immune-boosting strategy to fight bacterial infections. Kyme and Thoennissen turned to vitamin B3, which has been shown to increase the expression of some other genes in the CEBP family. The results: When studied in human blood, clinical doses of the vitamin appeared to virtually wipe out the staph infection in only a few hours. “There’s more research to be done, but we believe that vitamin B3, and other compounds that are able to increase the activity of this particular gene, have the potential to be effective against other antibiotic-resistant bacteria in addition to strains of staph,” he said. All the B vitamins are water-soluble, meaning that the body does not store them. The body can meet all of its needs for B3 through diet. However, very high doses of B3 are mostly available by prescription, and have already been proven to prevent high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, heart disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis, alzheimer's disease and cataracts. Ironically, patients who are prescribed many antibiotics, are also advised to to avoid vitamin B3 because it interferes with the absorption of the medication. Explainer Video: How to use antibiotics correctly and avoid resistance? Motion graphics

04:07
Antibiotics—what you need to know Antibiotics are medications used to treat bacterial infections. They strategically kill pathogenic bacteria and impede their multiplication, thus allowing your body’s defense mechanisms to gain the upper hand in fighting the infection. The use of antibiotics is an integral part of modern medicine. Listen to your doctor and pharmacist! Over time and through frequent use, bacteria can become resistant to antibiotics. In order to prevent effective antibiotics for fighting off life-threatening illnesses from becoming unavailable in the future, we must handle these essential and life-saving medications responsibly. Antibiotics should only be taken if a doctor has prescribed them for a bacterial or parasitic infection. Proper administration of antibiotics can vary greatly and depends upon the illness and its severity. Doctors prescribe a particular antibiotic in the right concentration and for the suitable treatment duration. Patients should therefore respect doctors' instructions to the letter and not terminate treatment prematurely. Indications regarding the duration, frequency, concentration, quantity, and prescribed medication must be precisely complied with in order to promote treatment success and avoid the creation of resistance. Modern antibiotic treatment is brief but effective, as it is prescribed to counter specific bacteria and is highly dosed. Symptoms thus often improve significantly or even disappear entirely already on the second day of administration. This means that the body has the infection under control, but remaining potent bacteria are still present. In order for the antibiotic to render the bacteria harmless, however, patients must continue to take it as long as the doctor has recommended. Take note of interactions and side effects! Certain foods may weaken the effect of antibiotics. Milk, mineral water rich in calcium, and grapefruit should not be consumed in the course of antibiotic treatment. You should avoid alcohol while taking antibiotics, as the accompanying inflammation intensifies your body’s circulation, causing the alcohol to be distributed much more quickly. Since broad-spectrum antibiotics also attack healthy bacteria, some antibiotics may cause dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. The medication may destroy good bacteria in your gut and in women’s vaginas. The result is frequently diarrhea and yeast infections. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about further potential reactions, interactions with other medications, such as birth control, and prophylactic products for preventing side effects. In ab.coach, you will find indications regarding the correct administration of your antibiotics, potential side effects and their prevention, health tips, and other valuable information. Summary Take antibiotics only if you have a current prescription from a doctor Follow your doctor's instructions regarding: duration and frequency concentration quantity active ingredient Take antibiotics correctly, for the full duration prescribed by your doctor Do not consume milk, mineral water rich in calcium, or grapefruit during antibiotic treatment Avoid alcohol to the greatest extent possible Discuss prophylactic measures and interactions with your doctor and pharmacist Together, we can curb the formation of resistance and provide for a healthier future More information: ab.coach
My Approach to Treatment of PANDAS/PANS with Homeopathy

01:09:20
http://alanfreestone.com In this webinar I share my approach to the treatment of PANDAS/PANS with Homeopathy and what I’ve learned treating hundreds of cases. My methods for treating PANDAS (Pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infection) are similar to those I use treating autism. For any parent coping with a child with PANDAS/PANS, this video webinar may be for you. In it I will share what I’ve learned treating several hundred cases of PANDAS/PANS. I’ll give a quick over-view of treating PANDAS/PANS using homeopathy. I will talk about how I came up with my PANDAS treatment protocol and when I use it & when I don’t. Why kids on the autism spectrum seem to be more susceptible to PANDAS/PANS. What it means if they don’t test Strep positive. What if the antibiotics stop working? Can we reduce the child’s susceptibility to recurring PANDAS? Case-studies – I’ll share my successes & failures. Cases when Strep. infection was clearly the cause & cases when it wasn’t, and cases when the child was also on other forms of medication. What is PANDAS? PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated With Streptococcal Infections) is diagnosed clinically after a patient develops a number of behavioral and physical symptoms following a strep throat infection. My treatment of the PANDAS syndrome are similar to those I use treating autism. I In addition I tend to use the Streptococcal nosode to control the acute flare-ups of PANDAS. The conventional treatment for PANDAS is antibiotics. Often this controls the symptoms, however there are three problems with this approach. Firstly the condition is very often recurring, resulting in repeated doses of antibiotics which can play havoc with the balance of the child’s gut flora. Secondly, it is often autistic children that suffer from PANDAS and almost every autistic child that I’ve ever treated had a compromised gut. Giving repeated antibiotics to an already compromised can often cause real problems and aggravations in the children’s autistic symptoms. Thirdly, sometimes the antibiotics don’t address the PANDAS. One theory for this is that the symptoms are actually being caused by the body’s antibody response to the streptococcal bacteria. My name is Alan Freestone and I am a Homeopathic doctor. I treat a wide range of conditions, but have particular interest in treating children with autism, which I believe to be a reversible condition often caused by toxins (be they from vaccinations, or other medications or sources of heavy-metals). EAR PAIN - Home remedy acts much quicker than pills & antibiotics - this salt thing is a miracle. - (गोलियों, एंटीबायोटिक दवाओं से बहुत तेज कान दर्द से तत्काल राहत प्राप्त करें) Last night my girl child was crying with ear pain. After observing her for half an hour I decided to take her to a hospital but again decided to test this home remedy on her as told by my grandmother. I found this as a home remedy last night which worked for my child. Cook 4 to 5 spoons of salt until brown, put in cloth and hold to ear (blocking out air with salt in towel over ear opening). Careful! Salt is very hot! Put it to the ear opening for a minute. Repeat this 10 to 15 times. My child went back to sleep and pain free for the whole night & she went to school the next day without complaining about her ear. This salt thing is a miracle! Nothing in the ear means no harm and nothing but relief. Try it! Test yourself if you have any ear pain. Much quicker than pills. BUT REMEMBER IF IT DOESN'T WORK CONSULT A DOCTOR BECAUSE FOREIGN BODY MAY ENTER THE EAR WHICH WILL NEED URGENT MEDICAL TREATMENT. If ear pain does not decrease using this technique then take around 3-4 nos. of fresh garlic & heat it slightly & take the garlic juice out by crushing the warm garlic & pour 2 drops of warm (not too hot) garlic juice into the ear suffering from pain to get instant relief from ear pain. For ear pain suffering from fungus apply onion juice into the ear to get relieve instantly.

How To Effectively Treat A SIBO Infection

26:31
Learn how to treat SIBO infection once and for all. Sibo treatment protocol that works! There is a contradiction when it comes to treating SIBO with conventional drugs because often clinicians prescribe antibiotics which are renown as being at least one possible cause of the illness in the first place. Often these drugs are also known for not providing permanent resolution of the bacterial overgrowth and in some cases they are actually understood to make the problem worse. This is because it has now been proven that bacteria are not always the free-floating organisms they were once believed to be, but often they are found to live in communities called biofilms. These biofilms not only resist attack from synthetic chemicals, but they are also able to strengthen their reserves against them and so can contribute to building up resistance toward certain drugs. In nature there are numerous phytochemicals which are also accepted to have properties similar to antibiotics. Yet, unlike the synthetic versions, the good news is that biofilms have less resistance to these natural substances and neither do they build up a defensive response. This gives these herbal treatments at least two advantages over synthetic antibiotics. In an increasing number of studies it has now been shown that natural antibiotics are actually more effective than synthetic versions of the same drugs when it comes to not only treating SIBO but also in ensuring it is treated effectively. This has led many clinicians to look into treating the condition not with prescription drugs such as Rifaximin, but with natural herbal products. The two most effective are these are currently accepted as being garlic and oregano. When both are used in conjunction with dietary changes, such as restricting sugar in the diet and cutting back on alcohol and processed foods, then patients often find that their SIBO infection can not only be eliminated, but also that it does not recur. It also has to be noted that whenever your are using treatments to eliminate gut microflora, whether you are using synthetics or natural substances, then you should also replace the beneficial bacteria. This means taking a good quality probiotic daily during the course of your treatment. Main Causes Of Yeast Infections

11:17
To explain a bit more about the causes, it probably would be good to explain that I find that there are two types of causes with people. What I call the exciting cause and what I call the maintaining cause. The exciting cause is what really starts off the yeast infection; what begins it all. Because when you think about it, something had to cause the whole problem. It had to start for some reason. You didn't just wake up one day and "Oh, I got a yeast infection." It developed and something helped it along. Something created this yeast infection. That's called the exciting cause. If you've had a yeast infection for many years, like a chronic one, it may be hard to remember the exciting cause. We'll come back to that later. The second cause is the maintaining cause. This is what you're doing continually to keep it going. This could be a food or a drink or a lifestyle habit that's contributing to this continuation of the yeast infection. It's important if I'm going to help you permanently eradicate a yeast infection that you address both the exciting and the maintaining causes. Let's talk a little bit about the 11 types of causes which I commonly see in the clinic. The first one is antibiotics drugs. Antibiotics probably are the biggest cause of any yeast infection. And not just of yeast infections, but of many different diseases we have today. I think they're the scourge of pharmaceutical drugs. While so necessary in many cases, I believe they're completely overprescribed and given far too judiciously and handed out like candy to children. In fact, too many people get antibiotics for too many silly reasons. I've been in my business now 25 years and I routinely get mothers coming in, they bring a child in who's had a script for penicillin for seven days for a tiny little cut on the finger or something ridiculous like that; that tea tree oil could solve. If you're one of these people who routinely takes antibiotics, you could be in for a rude awakening. You need to be careful of antibiotics because they certainly create a lot of problems in the body. We don't call them "antibiosis" or "antilife" for no reason. They kill life. They kill a lot of beneficial life. And if you keep taking these drugs, you'll find that bacteria and yeast will become increasingly resistant to the effects of them. It'll be harder and harder for you to counter these bugs down the track. I've raised my four children on no antibiotics at all. They've never had antibiotics and they're in great health. We've always relied on herbal medicines and homeopathies and other treatments, and we've had fantastic results. Then when the kids do get a sore throat or they get sick, we'll give them herbs. We'll do salt water gargles; they'll quickly recover within two days. I've never resorted to these drugs and I don't think that you should jump into them in a hurry. I think you need to be careful about what you're doing. Antibiotics are the prime cause of many yeast infections. I've seen thousands of people come to me who've never been well since a prescription of an antibiotic. The second one is antibiotics in meat. Little do you know that the pork you're eating or the chicken or the beef could well have drugs in it, antibiotics? We know the growth hormone is used in many animals, pork and beef particularly, to stimulate growth. But what you may not be aware of is chicken get loads of antibiotics. If you're buying commercial poultry, it'll be full of antibiotics. The poultry industry will tell you that these drugs are safe, but I can tell you now, they're not safe at all. They cram these chickens into small cages, keep them in the dark, and feed them on high protein foods. They spray antibiotic sprays on the food. If you eat chicken routinely, you're going to get a good load of antibiotics. You need to buy free range or preferably have your own poultry or get free-range birds, and at least you can be there to ensure that you're not going to be taking in drugs continually. Inherited or underlying immune dysfunction. Many people I see come to me with asthma or hay fever or these sort of conditions that their father or mother or somebody else had. They could have inherited a gene there predisposing them to an immune weakness. Other people present with -- when we do blood tests -- things like neutropenia or a very low neutrophil count; something else I regularly see. Others I see have got B-12 deficiencies or folate or iron deficiencies which can predispose them to a weakened immune system. If you've got a weak immune system to start with, imagine you take antibiotics on top of that; you're going to be literally a sitting duck for a Candida yeast infection. A good strong immune system is going to help fight the yeast infection. Just like a good defense force will help to keep a lot of terrorists and invaders out of the country. Read more on my website.

Candida Fungal Infections

01:45
From your tongue to your nails, health experts say candida fungal infections can happen anywhere on your body. Dr. Alfred Gitu, family medicine physician with Lee Memorial Health System, says candida fungal infections have a white coating on the skin or tongue. “It’s a type of a yeast infection, and yeast is a type of fungus. The thing about candida is that most of us carry it. We have it our mouth, we have it our intestines, and we have on our skin.” Things like antibiotics or weak immune systems can cause the yeast to grow and multiply leading to a fungal infection. “It’s a very, very common thing. It’s very irritating when it happens,” said Dr. Gitu. Thrush is a candida fungal infection common in babies. It’s caused by too much yeast in the mouth. “Little babies who get thrush on their tongue, it’s the same kind of fungus that causes vaginal infections in women. The tongue looks white like it’s coated in white, almost like when a baby has been drinking milk but it’s a coating that lasts,” said Dr. Gitu. If the baby is breastfeeding thrush can be spread to the mother’s skin. “Some people can get it on their skin, especially in skin folds that stay moist,” said Dr. Gitu. Candida infections can also happen in nails. “The nail is thicker, it’s more brittle and it’s discolored,” said Dr. Gitu. If the infection spreads on the skin it will look like a rash with a white coating on top. It’s often itchy and very uncomfortable. Patients will need an antibiotic to treat it. To prevent the infection, health experts say it’s important to keep the mouth, hands, and fingernails clean, and limit time spent in warm, damp clothing. HOW TO TREAT KIDS EAR INFECTIONS! | NATURALLY

07:42
Dr. Mainieri has treated 1,000's of kids over his last 17 years in practice. Many children or babies suffer from otitis media or middle ear infections. The eustachian tube gets clogged and the fluid builds up and bacteria grows, and becomes infected. The medical solution is to put tubes in the ears which does have possible side effects. Dr. Mainieri's natural techniques have helped many children heal from ear infections and otitis media without using tubes in the ear. Many children that suffer from ear infections have food allergies to dairy and wheat. These two foods lower kids immune system and cause a slugde build up of mucousin the middle ear. Dr. Mainieri recommends that kids with chronic ear infections are well hydrated with water and are off all processed sugars. Gentle Chiropractic adjustments help to loosen the muscles around the neck and enable fluid to drain out of the estation tubes. Also the chiropractic adjustments help to free nerves that are being pinch around the neck and control the ear. A natural remedy to treat the pain and help kill bacteria is the olive oil and garlic oil. Just 2 drops in the ear will help bacteria in the middle ear and sooth any pain. http://www.lonetreechiro.com https://www.facebook.com/RidgeLineChiropractic Ridge Line Chiropractic 9894 Rosemont Ave. #103 Lone Tree, CO 80124

Invasive Fungal Infections in the Immunocompromised Host -- Aliyah Baluch, MD.

37:33
Dr. Aliyah Baluch focuses on the work-up and treatment of invasive fungal infections in the immunosuppressed patients. Fungal infections have high morbidity and mortality, but can be hard to clinically diagnose. Invasive infections occur in ICU, Diabetes Mellitus, and immunocompromised patients. Dr. Baluch covers both aspects of Candida and non-Candida species infections, including risk factors, symptoms, prognosis, work-up, and treatment in patients with immunosuppressed patients. She includes a review of fungal structure and the mechanism of action of the drug classes used to treat them – Echinocandins, Polyenes, and Triazoles. She covers timelines that indicate which species to expect during each stage of immunosuppression and with different mechanisms of immunosuppression, including differences between stem cell and solid organ transplants. Biomarkers for treatment and international patterns of drug resistance are also discussed. Pneumonia is a common infection of the lungs affecting mostly the microscopic air sacs – the alveoli. The function of the respiratory system is to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide between the body and the environment. This process takes place in the alveoli of the lungs. Inhaled oxygen moves from the alveoli into the blood in the capillaries while carbon dioxide relocates from the blood to the alveoli to be exhaled out of the body. In people with pneumonia, these air sacs are filled with fluid or pus, hindering the gas exchange process, resulting in difficulty breathing and a cough reflex. Other symptoms may include chest pain, fever, chills and confusion. Pneumonia is not a single disease. A large number of various organisms can cause pneumonia. Bacterial pneumonia is the most common, with Streptococcus pneumoniae being the main culprit. Viral pneumonia is more common in young children. A variety of viruses are implicated with each of them predominating in different times of the year. Pneumonia commonly starts as an infection of the upper respiratory tract - a cold or flu, which then spreads to the lungs. The most common routes of transmission are through inhalation of contaminated aerosol droplets and aspiration of oral bacteria into the lungs. The setting in which pneumonia develops is an important information as it helps to identify the source of the causative agent and hence the treatment approach. Generally, community-acquired pneumonia is less dangerous than health care-associated, hospital-acquired, or ventilator-associated pneumonia. This is because an infection contracted outside health care facilities is less likely to involve multidrug-resistant bacteria. Patients who are already in hospitals are also most likely to have other health problems and weakened immune system and are thus less able to fight the disease. Pneumonia is often diagnosed based on physical exams and a chest X-ray. Clinical assessment for children is primarily based on a rapid respiratory rate, a cough, presence of lower chest wall indrawing, and the level of consciousness. Adults are usually checked for vital signs and presence of chest crackles – the rattling noise coming from a diseased lung. Bacterial pneumonia is treated with antibiotics. The choice of antibiotics depends on the patient’s age, health conditions and how the infection was acquired. Viral pneumonia caused by influenza viruses may be treated with antiviral drugs. Hospitalization may be required for severe cases with breathing difficulty, especially for young children, the elderly, and those with other health problems.

Small Skin Infections Better Treated With Added Antibiotics

00:36
A new study shows simple skin abscesses less than five cm have higher cure rates when the abscess is drained and antibiotics are given. According to UPI, the success rates is higher than when an abscess is only drained. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, including MRSA, cause the majority of skin and soft tissue infections. Antibiotics clindamycin and TMP/SMX are commonly used for the treatment of minor skin abscesses. They're low cost and are effective at fighting MRSA. http://www.upi.com/Health_News/2017/06/30/Study-Antibiotics-work-to-treat-small-skin-infections/8581498826024/ http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

Top 4 Antibiotic Essential Oils

Learn more about these 4 antibiotic essential oils on my website here: https://draxe.com/antibacterial-essential-oils/?utm_campaign=Live-Apr-2017&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=antibioticoils Today, prescription antibiotics are wrecking the health of our country. Thankfully, we have essential oils, which can act as natural antibiotics. Getting rid of bad bacteria is the main goal of antibiotics, but prescriptions kill all bacteria in your body — both good and bad, causing serious health problems. Doctors and researchers say that 70 percent of good bacteria is in your gut (or microbiome). Killing this good bacteria can cause leaky gut or autoimmune disease over time. In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I share what I think are the top 4 antibiotic essential oils and how they can help restore your body to health — the natural, gentle way. Chiropractor Pittsburgh PA Ear Infection: Treatment without antibiotics

10:09
http://AskDrGoldberg.com 3322 Babcock Blvd Pittsburgh, Pa 15237 412-367-3778 Ear Infection: An ear infection (otitis media), is most often a bacterial or viral infection that affects the middle (media) ear, the air-filled space behind the eardrum that contains the tiny vibrating bones of the ear. Children are more likely than adults to get ear infections. Why? Because in children the Eustachian tubes are very small and less able to keep germs out. Middle ear infections are the most common. When the germ affects the outer ear, it's called swimmer's ear. However if the ear infection is caused by a virus, then antibiotics can't touch this, and sometimes there's a yeast infection in the ear which is made worse by antibiotics. The Eustachian tubes get longer and usually work better as you get older, but they can still cause problems. If you have allergies or catch a cold, the Eustachian tubes can get blocked up and let germs get in the middle ear. Then the number of germs can grow inside the middle ear and cause an infection. Ear Infection: The Chiropractic Connection There's definitely a chiropractic connection to ear infections. First of all the chiropractic adjustment affects the nerves that go to and innervate the ears. Also an adjustment can be given to the ears which enables the Eustachian tubes to open up and drain. Also the nervous system is "hard-wired" to the immune system, which helps the body fight off the infection, whether it's viral, bacterial or yeast/fungus. Also nutritional supplementation can be used which raises the immune system, such as Vitamin C and even garlic drops into the ear. These procedures can be used as an alternative to antibiotics and tubes in the ears, as over-use of antibiotics can actually lead to a yeast infection. Make sure you take probiotics 2 hours after taking an anti-biotic to replenish your intestinal flora with healthy, friendly bacteria. Since one of the causes of ear infections are allergies, people can and do respond to allergy elimination technique. This is where the offending material is treated and eliminated by stimulating and treating the acupuncture points along the spinal column. It also works by accessing the higher brain centers which is the computer of the body. While the patient holds the allergen in his/her hand a message is sent to the brain-"Heal this condition." Ways to Prevent Ear Infections in Children Take your children to regular chiropractic checkups Breastfeed exclusively for at least 6 months Avoid unnecessary medications; especially antibiotics Don't use pacifiers Don't expose babies or children to cigarette smoke Avoid dairy Limit juice; especially before bed Feed toddlers plenty of fruits and vegetables Don't allow water to pool in your child's ears after bathing or swimming Never insert anything into your child's ears; including cotton swabs Ear Infection: Consult with Dr. Goldberg Give Wellness Associates a call at:412-367-3778, to see if you're a candidate for conservative chiropractic adjustments, allergy elimination and nutrition as an alternative to treating ear infections, without antibiotics and tubes in the ear. Health and wellness, without a prescription and side-effects. An ear infection can effectively be treated with a prescription.
