Cook over medium heat until all the water is absorbed (about 5-7 minutes). Top with strawberries and peanut butter. Calories 492 Macros 67/23/10 Carbs 86g - Fat 14g - Protein 15g VEGGIE SUSHI ROLLS 2 cups cooked white rice 1/2 small avocado (50g) 1/4 English cucumber sliced 1/4 c shredded carrots 1 cup spring greens 2 sheets nori 1 tsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp coconut aminos for dipping (or soy sauce) Lay out your nori sheets and spread the rice evenly over them. Take your avocado and divide it between the two sheets. Smash it into the middle of the roll. Add your cucumber, carrots and greens and roll tightly like a burrito. Cut into sushi pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Dip into coconut aminos. Calories 561 Macros 74/16/9 Carbs 102g - Fat 11g - Protein 14g Potato Fries with Sweet Mustard 4 small-medium russet potatoes (650g) 1/2 tsp garlic powder salt & pepper to taste 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp mustard 2 cup greens ( i use spinach) Preheat oven to 420 degrees F (215C). Scrub your potatoes well and chop into fry like pieces. Toss in garlic powder and add a little salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet and bake 15 minutes. Flip the potatoes and bake again another 15-20 minutes or until soft when pierced with a fork. Mix together your maple syrup and mustard. Place potatoes over your bowl of greens and drizzle with dressing. Calories 603 Macros 90/2/8 Carbs 137g - Fat 1g - Protein 17g GRANOLA BERRY DESSERT 1/2 cup low fat granola 1 cup mixed berries (I used strawberry and blueberries) 1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp walnuts Combine you granola and milk in a bowl. Top with fruit, cinnamon and walnuts. If you want to keep your dessert simple, just have a few pieces of fresh fruit if you are hungry. Keeping your diet simple and easy is very helpful during your weight loss journey :) Calories 264 Macros 63/29/8 Carbs 46g - Fat 9g - 7g DAILY TOTALS Calories 1928 Macros 76/15/9 Carbs 372g - Fat 35g - Protein 53g Remember to get at least 30 minutes of light activity throughout the day such as a brisk walk or bike ride. This will help you feel your best and make you feel confident that you have done something amazing for your body. It is important that we take small steps to care for ourselves and exercise should not be torture, it should be something you do because it makes you feel good and gives you time to reflect on your day :) Be sure to drink at least 2 liters of water throughout the day to stay hydrated! Now if you eat less than 2000 calories per day when your metabolism burns 2000 calories per day then you’re going to start losing weight or burning off fat for energy to make up for the lack of energy from the calories you’re not eating And here’s the main thing you need to realize… When you’re trying to maintain your weight, gain weight or lose weight it’s ALL ABOUT HOW MANY CALORIES YOU EAT and NOT WHAT YOU EAT. Now Since most people like you who want to lose weight need to eat more than 2000 calories per day to maintain their weight or gain weight you’re going to start losing weight fast once you start eating less than 2000 calories of anything you want and if you want to, you can use the Weight Loss calorie Calcualtor at nowloss.com/wlc to see exactly how many calories you need to eat to lose weight… Step 2: Eat Whenever You Want Losing weight is based on how much you eat and not what you eat so weight loss is definitely not based on when you eat so forget about all the crazy myths about eating after 6pm and you don’t have to eat 5 meals per day. You can eat 1-3 bigger meals a day if want to. It does not matter WHEN or WHAT you eat as long as you eat less than 2000 calories per day. Now having said all that… You can burn fat faster if you eat your 2000 calories or less on an intermittent fasting schedule. Step 3: Drink at least 1 liter of water everyday You want to drink at least 1 liter of water every day to prevent you from gaining water weight, getting bloated or gaining what is called “false fat” because believe or not when you don’t drink enough water your body will hold onto excess water weight instead of flushing it out and actually… It’s even better for weight loss if drink half your bodyweight in ounces each day so for example if you weighed 200 pounds you want to drink 100 ounces of water each day but if most your less than 2000 calorie diet is made up of unhealthy foods then you seriously want to drink more than 1 liter of water each day because the foods high in salt & loaded with sugar cause you gain lots of water weight and you can prevent that water weight gain by drinking more than 1 liter per day. Now you can actually burn more calories or burn more fat when you drink ICE COLD water. To be more exact you’ll burn an extra 140 calories for every gallon of ice cold water you drink. Step 4: U need to Track your calories 1 of The most important things when it comes to losing weight is how many calories you eat but on the flip side of that… the #1 reason why you can’t lose weight is because you’re not tracking your calories. So make sure you use a food journal, a website or an app like myfitnesspal, loseit or calorieking.com to help you keep track of how many calories you’re eating every day. 1. So Once you have a way to track your calories you’re going to start off eating less than 2000 calories per day of anything you want. 2. Then if you’re not losing weight or if you’re not losing weight fast enough, You’re going to keep lowering your calorie intake by 250 calories every 3-to-7 days until you find the right amount of calories you need to eat to lose weight 3. But if you’re already eating less than 1500 calories per day and you’re not losing any weight at all then chances are you are not tracking or counting your calories properly so always double and triple check your calorie counts before you lower your calorie intake

Your diet is always the most important part of weight loss, so learning how to accurately track your food intake is SO important to see continued success as you lose weight. FOOD SCALE I USE: https://amzn.to/2u45MZ8 1. Where to Track Your Food: MyFitnessPal! This has been the best app I've used to properly log all of my food. It may not be the prettiest, but it has the best food database available compared to the other apps I've tried. 2. Use A Food Scale. This is SO IMPORTANT, volume measurements will lead to big discrepancies and inaccuracies over time, the nutrition labels go by the weight of the food and not the volume, so this is best to ensure that you're eating the amount you expected. 3. Be Honest and Accurate. You're only fooling yourself when you aren't being truthful with what you're really eating. Those extra servings of this or that can really add up over time and are often the culprit for weight loss plateaus. Stay honest with yourself and be as accurate as possible! Next week we will talk about how to count calories properly for weight loss, for those that wish to. Let’s look at the advantages of NOT counting calories: #1. People are bad at it So bad that studies show subjects underestimating the amount of calories they eat by up to 47%. In another study of women reporting they couldn’t lose weight on a 1200 calorie diet, experts found they were actually eating up to 2500 calories a day in many cases. #2. Counting calories tends to put dieters in the wrong mindset When focus is on counting calories, people begin to ignore the quality of food being eaten.   Yes, you probably can lose weight eating small ramen noodles and twinkies… But do those foods give you good energy?   Or help your skin quality? Or make you feel good. Probably not. By not counting calories, you’re pretty much forced to focus on food quality for weight loss, which is a good thing. #3. It’s much simpler By not obsessing over every macronutrient and calorie you’re consuming life becomes significantly simpler. While counting makes sense for bodybuilders trying to reach -3% body fat or those who have hit a weight loss plateau, it usually becomes a burden for normal people who just want to be generally healthy. Here are 7 Steps for How to Lose Weight WITHOUT Counting Calories Step #1. Pair high protein meals with low carb vegetables Protein and vegetables are the two most satiating nutrients on the planet and have been shown to keep you from having cravings. The fiber from low carbohydrate vegetables combined with high protein foods creates one of the most satisfying meals you can eat. Step #2. Avoid unsatiating foods like the plague On the opposite end processed foods, flour, and sugar have all been shown to be unsatisfying leading to more cravings and thus calories consumption. It’s will be VERY difficult to lose weight if you eat these foods and are not counting calories. Step #3. Drink water like a camel Everyone knows water is important, but drinking more can also help you lose weight.  It has been shown to increase metabolism by 3-11% and eliminate pesky hunger cravings. Step #4. Use Decaf Coffee or Peppermint Tea to Blunt Cravings In order of craving killers, decaf coffee, then peppermint tea, and then regular coffee have all been shown to help blunt hunger cravings. So when you start craving sweets or food you shouldn’t eat, drink one of these. Step #5. Use the craving question Lot’s of people say things like “I’m hungry” and go eat without actually listening to their body to see if that is true or not. When hunger hits ask yourself this question, “Am I hungry enough to eat a salad?” Often times, the answer is no and you’re not actually hungry, you just have a craving. The brain is just trying to get a little hit of dopamine because it’s bored and you need to train yourself to distinguish between real hunger and cravings. Listening to the body is uber important for those not counting calories. Step #6. Sleep like a bear in hibernation Loss of sleep has been directly linked to higher resting cortisol levels and stronger cravings. So get lots and lots of sleep (which you should be doing anyway). Step #7. Mediate Early research has shown that mediation can help with both binge eating and emotional eating. It’s been shown to help dieters naturally eat less by instilling a sense of mindful eating. This is where you’re slowing down to actually enjoy the foods you eat instead of pounding down meals like a humpback whale at a sardine factory. I just mix protein powder + water. - I eat 120g or less of carbs a day, lately my average has been 85g (I count ALL carbs even from fruit, veggies etc). - I try to get as close to 100g of protein each day. Hi Lovely Lot 🌸 Here is another Weight Watcher update. However, this week I have filmed my week differently and included more 'real life', in-the-moment footage. This week I share with you how I found it after doing the 0sp challenge, the rollercoaster of emotions and daily life. Let me know if you like this new formate in the comment box below, or would you prefer me to go back to the sit down, chatty vlogs? I am really enjoying sharing this experience. It is helping me to stay on track. As well as making me more positive and happy about my body image. Throughout my teen years I yo-yo dieted, and in my late teens I went from a size 26 jeans down to a size 12/14!! This was one of the best things I did, for my body and my mind. Since then I have had two beautiful children and gone up and down with my pregnancy weight. When my youngest (Emme) was 6 months old I decided it was time to start trying to be healthy again. That was when I joined Weight Watchers. Since January 2017 I have lost over 3 stone in weight, and completed two 0-5k, 10 week running courses. However, as we all know, it is easy to get complacent and forget to log food. Therefore, I wanted to give myself a ‘kick up the bum’ and do weekly vlogs recording my progress, along with some of my favourite meals and tips for how I am sticking with Weight Watchers.
