How can I get pregnant if I have a cyst?
You mentioned that you have ovarian cysts, and you're wondering if this is going to affect your ability to become pregnant. And the cause behind the ovarian cysts is going to dictate whether you're going to have an issue getting pregnant. Many women with ovarian cysts have no problem at all, but there are some that do, based on the reason for the cyst. Now ovarian cysts are little fluid-filled sacks that form on or in a woman's ovary. And they can be associated with a monthly cycle, because you're body actually releases what's called a follicle, and sometimes the follicle grows but does't release an egg, and instead turns into a cyst. Or if you get pregnant, then sometimes the egg is released and the cyst can stay on the ovary for a long time. So just normal a menstrual cycle can cause ovarian cysts, and so can pregnancy. But there are other causes. There's dermoid cysts that actually can contain fat, hair, and teeth, which all sounds really weird, and sometimes doctors feel like those need to be taken out, but they're not necessarily harmful to your health. There's ovarian cysts caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome (or PCOS) and this actually can cause infertility issues. And it's a metabolic syndrome, it affects a lot of different things in your body. And so again it would just be best for you to talk to your doctor, and they can decide what the cause is behind the ovarian cysts, and based on that, give you the best guidance and direction, and tell you whether or not it's going to affect your ability to become pregnant. Now even women who have PCOS (or polycystic ovarian syndrome) can get pregnant, but sometimes it does require the help of a physician who's prescribing medications and helping them to understand the process better and increase their chances of fertility. if you have any other questions for me though, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page, and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Should I Be Concerned About Ovarian Cysts?
Should I be concerned about ovarian cysts? In this video, Mark P. Trolice, M.D., a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist and founder of Fertility CARE: The IVF Center describes the different types of cysts and why most of them are not a cause for worry. “Ovarian cysts cause more stress and confusion than probably anything else that we work with,” says Dr. Trolice. “Any woman in their reproductive years must have cysts on her ovaries. Cysts come in various sizes, shapes, and appearances. But all reproductive women need to have follicular cysts that represent microscopic eggs.” “When we do an ultrasound, we count the number of small cysts on the ovary. They represent microscopic eggs, and we want to see them in good numbers. The less antral follicles we see, the greater the ovarian aging (called an antral follicle count (AFC). When the follicles are less than 10 mm, there is nothing to worry about.” “What about a growing follicular cyst?” asks Dr. Trolice. “That’s what we do when we stimulate you with clomiphene citrate or letrozole or Genotropin injections. We are pushing those little antral follicles to get larger to grow mature eggs.” “What about if we see a cyst that is neither of those?” Dr. Trolice continues. “Those cysts can be either simple or complex. The simple ones look just like a little circle; it’s black inside with clear fluid and is nothing to worry about, as long as you’re not having any pain. Sometimes you can have cysts on the side of your ovary, called a para ovarian cyst or a cyst on the side of the tube called a paratubal cyst - these are also no cause for concern.” “There is a hemorrhagic cyst which occurs every time a woman ovulates. When you release the egg from the follicular cyst that‘s growing, the egg gets released from the surge of the pituitary hormone (HCG trigger), and that cyst left behind in the ovary is making progesterone and other hormones critical for implantation. We’ve got to have that cyst (known as a corpus luteum), which develops from the time of ovulation until your next period. When you get your period, sometimes that cyst can hang around causing some discomfort, minor bleeding, or hemorrhaging requiring surgery. When you look at the ultrasound of a hemorrhagic cyst, it may look scary or very simple. But the best thing to do is wait for six to eight weeks on average to see if it goes away.” “The cysts we get a little more concerned about are complex cysts,” says Dr. Trolice. “They appear solid or mixed simple and solid. Complex cysts are not common, but if they hang around and do not resolve, we’ll have you see your gynecologist for evaluation. It doesn’t mean that you have cancer, but we need to examine it if it doesn’t go away.” “Two cysts that we see a lot of are endometriosis cysts and dermoid cysts. Endometriosis cysts sometimes implant in the ovary and have a ground-glass appearance, which is very symmetrical smooth but not simple. Endometriosis cysts are often associated with pain and potentially represent significant endometriosis inside. If you don’t have any pain, we leave those cysts alone as well.” “A dermoid cyst is an embryological cyst that has many different cell lines in it. It could have hair inside, teeth, neurological tissue, anything. Size is important. We usually leave things alone that are less than 5 cm particularly if they are not causing any symptoms.” “The bottom line is that not all cysts are bad,” concludes Dr. Trolice. “So when we say cysts in the office, please don’t get anxious about it unless we tell you that there is cause for concern.” For more visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/ To learn more about Dr. Trolice visit http://www.myfertilitycare.com/mark-trolice-md/ To learn more about Fertility CARE fertility services visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/our-services/ To learn more about IVF visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/ivf/ To learn more about egg freezing visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/egg-freezing/ To learn more about intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/intracytoplasmic-sperm-injection-icsi/ To learn more about IUI visit https://www.myfertilitycare.com/infertility-treatment-options/ Dr. Mark P. Is it possible to conceive after Ovarian Cyst removal? - Dr. Suhasini Inamdar
Ladies who have undergone ovarian cystectomy always have a question will i become pregnant, it is very easy for the women to become pregnant after ovarian cyst, because we just remove the cyst and preserve the ovaries. so ovaries are functioning and she as good as any other lady with two ovaries. Yes she should plan pregnancy whenever she wants to if it is a simple cyst and does not have a problem while removing it like there are no adations and it is not a very huge infected cyst. But if a lady has undergone cyst of endometrioma which is endiometriosis of ovary then she should conceive as early as possible. The treatment modalysis to keep endometrioma in control is pregnancy where in she does'nt ovulate then endometrioma does'nt reoccur. The time frame for endometrioma is pregnancy as early as possible. Otherwise the couple can plan and get pregnant. After the removal of cyst it is not at all difficult to become pregnant because the ovary is not removed it is the cyst wall which is removed. The ovaries are still intact and functioning.

Trying to conceive with endometriosis| Improve your fertility| Dr. Morris tips
Dr Randy Morris MD-The BOARD CERTIFIED fertility expert with weekly TTC tips on InfertilityTV Endometriosis is when the tissue which grows inside your uterus, starts to grow outside of the uterus in your abdomen. Endometriosis can cause pain and infertility or both. Diagnosing endometriosis can be tricky. Not all women with painful periods have endometriosis. Women with more severe forms of endometriosis will usually have endometriosis cysts in their ovaries that can been on ultrasound. Women with a less severe stage, however, cannot be diagnosed with ultrasound. For these women, surgery to look inside the abdomen is the only way to prove whether endometriosis is present or not. If you have endometriosis, it can be more difficult to conceive. The more severe the endometriosis, the more difficult it may be. There are several options for trying to conceive with endometriosis. Surgery to vaporize endometriosis is an effective option to improve fertility. Word of caution, not every woman will get pregnant simply by vaporizing her endometriosis. In fact, for women with mildest forms of endometriosis, you would have to do surgery on 11 women to get one extra pregnancy. Women with most severe forms of endometriosis, who have endometriosis cysts in their ovary, should not have surgery if their ovarian reserve is poor as it can further lower the number of viable eggs they have remaining. The use of fertility pills such as Clomid or injections such as Follistim with either intercourse or inseminations are commonly to used to treat infertility but their effectiveness in women with endometriosis remains questionable. Finally, IVF has become a go to option for women with endometriosis. Its effectiveness is well proven compared to other treatments but questions remain over whether pregnancy rates are as good as they are compared to couples with other types of fertility problems. OVARIAN CYSTS TREATMENTS An Open Letter to Any Woman Looking for Effective Relief From Ovarian Cyst Symptoms Without Resorting to Birth Control Pills, Pain Killers, or Surgery” http://www.mojoreview.club/ovarian Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled growths in a woman’s ovaries. The development of an ovarian cyst/s may happen in just one or both of the ovaries. Usually ovarian cysts are harmless and will go away on their own, but sometimes ovarian cysts can become so large that they rupture, or cause damage to the ovary. Very large ovarian cysts can cause displacement of the reproductive organs. Damage from a ruptured ovarian cyst may cause scar tissue build-up, and/or the formation of adhesions, attaching the ovary to other parts of the internal body. Ovarian cysts are most common in women of childbearing years, but can rarely develop in postmenopausal women. A woman’s ovaries are about the size and shape of an almond. It is amazing that something so small and delicate can hold thousands of eggs at birth. It is also quite amazing that something so small can develop a cyst. Thankfully, there are natural remedies that can help the body to rid itself of the cysts naturally, without surgery. Types of Ovarian Cysts Functional Ovarian Cysts A woman’s ovaries contain thousands of follicles that house immature eggs (ovum). During the menstrual cycle each month, as ovulation nears, a select number of follicles are signaled to grow (mature) for ovulation. An ovarian cyst that forms due to a malfunction in follicle maturation is known as a functional cyst. There are two types of functional cysts: Follicular cyst: This happens when the follicle fails to rupture and release the egg at ovulation, instead it continues to grow, forming a cyst. Corpus Luteum cyst: After ovulation, once the egg is released, the follicle changes to what is called the corpus luteum. The development of a corpus luteum cyst happens when the opening in the follicle where the egg was released seals off and then causes the corpus luteum to accumulate fluid and grow into a cyst. Other Types of Ovarian Cysts There are other types of cysts that form on the ovaries, but they are not related to the menstrual cycle. _________________________________________________________________ ovarian cysts treatments at home, ovarian cyst treatments alternative, ovary cyst treatments, ovarian cysts treatment options, ovarian cysts treatment natural, ovarian cysts treatment for pain, ovarian cysts treatment without surgery, ovarian cysts treatment during pregnancy, ovarian cysts treatment cost, ovarian cyst treatment guidelines, ovarian cysts symptoms, ovarian cysts pain, ovarian cysts causes, ovarian cysts cure, how to cure ovarian cysts, how to treat ovary cysts, _________________________________________________________________ Dermoid cyst: These cysts are considered complex and develop from cells that produce human eggs. Because of this, these types of cyst may contain hair, teeth, or skin. They are rarely cancerous. Cystadenomas: This type of cyst develops from ovarian tissue and is filled with liquid or mucous. Endometriomas: This type of cyst forms when displaced endometrial cells attach to the ovary and form a growth (endometriosis). This type of ovarian cyst is commonly called a chocolate cyst. Polycystic ovaries: A polycystic ovary develops many small cysts in a row, on the surface of the ovary, which looks like a strand of pearls. Polycystic ovaries are associated with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). In the case of polycystic ovaries, the ovaries may become enlarged, typically twice the size of normal ovaries. PCOS is fast becoming a leading endocrine disorder among women. Not all women diagnosed with PCOS have ovaries that have these types of cysts. What Causes Ovarian Cysts? • Irregular menstrual cycles • Hormonal imbalance • Hypothyroidism • Cigarette smoking • Early menstruation (11 years or younger) • BMI above 30 • Infertility treatment with gonadotropins has been found to cause multiple large ovarian cysts in some women • Use of Clomiphene (Clomid, Serophene) has been shown to increase the risk for development of Corpus Luteum cysts • Use of Tamoxifen for breast cancer Signs and Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts Most women that have ovarian cysts don’t even know; typically there are no signs or symptoms. Most ovarian cysts are discovered during a routine physical exam. intro music Credits : http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/freemusictracks/aisearchtracks.aspx?stxt=intro Ending Voice : http://www.fromtexttospeech.com/ And http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/freemusictracks/aisearchtracks.aspx?stxt=intro Subscribe us: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc-Np29NUqD7QBQVtMe2LeA/videos

Trying to Conceive - TTC - with Clomid | Infertility TV with Dr. Randy Morris MD
Dr Randy Morris MD-The BOARD CERTIFIED fertility expert with weekly TTC tips on InfertilityTV If you are trying to conceive, the fertility medication known as clomiphene citrate or Clomid may be an option for you. Clomid is used in two circumstances. First, Clomid is used for women who don’t ovulate to try to induce ovulation. But clomid is also used for women who already ovulate to try to further improve their chances for getting pregnant. The protocol for treating women with Clomid varies from doctor to doctor. I am going to tell you about the highly effective methods we use at IVF1. First, it is important to perform a baseline ultrasound of the ovaries and some baseline blood tests. Women who get their periods can do this on the 2nd or 3rd of menstrual bleeding. Women who don’t get periods can do the baseline at any time. As long as everything looks okay, a woman may then start to take the Clomid pills. The starting dose is usually 1 to 2 pills a day for five days. Women who don’t ovulate may use a higher dose up to 5 pills a day or use them for a longer period of time such as 7 or 10 days. After the last pill is taken, it is time to start monitoring for ovulation. With clomid, monitoring can be done by using a home ovulation predictor kit which allows a woman to test her urine every morning. A positive result means ovulation will follow in 12-24 hours. Another popular method for ovulation monitoring is to have it done at the doctor’s office. Eggs mature inside of a cyst known as a follicle. As the egg matures, the follicle grows larger. This can be seen and measured on ultrasound. The cells that make up the follicle produce estrogen that can also be measured using blood tests. After the last pill of clomid is taken, follicle ultrasounds and estrogen blood tests can be performed every few days. At times, the eggs will reach maturity without the body triggering ovulation. To get around this problem, doctors will instruct the patient to take an injection of a medication called hCG. Thirty six hours after the hCG is given ovulation will occur. About a week after ovulation was predicted, another blood test called progesterone can be drawn to confirm ovulation. A week after that a pregnancy test can be performed and then -- fingers crossed. With what size of follicle in PCOS can one conceive?-Dr. Geeta Komar
The size of the follicles in the PCOS is not important or not relevant. In PCOD the, the ovaries are enlarged and there are multiple ovaries that are subcentric in size. So the size of the follicles does not hold any relevance to your chances of conceiving.

During a women’s menstrual cycle, the egg grows in a sac called as follicle. The sac is located inside the ovaries. This follicle or sac breaks open and releases an egg. But if a follicle breaks open, the fluid inside the follicle can form cyst on the ovaries. The most common types of ovarian cysts is called the functional cyst. The cysts are described as functional cysts. The cysts are described as functional because they develop during a menstrual cycle. These are of two types. The follicular cysts and the corpus luteum cysts. These usually go away on their own in one two three months. Thee cysts are formed when an egg doesn’t get released as expected. So the follicle keeps growing. Corpus luteum cysts go away on their own. These cysts are forced on their own, break open and an egg is released in the process called as ovulation. The follicle reseals and the follicle starts to build within it. They can enlarge, cause pain, bleed and twist the ovary. Fertility medicines used to promote ovulation such as clomiphene can increase the chances of developing these types of cysts. Ovarian cysts can be related to endometriosis or formed from the outer surface of the ovary called as cyst adenoma or non-ovarian tissue called as dermoid cyst.

How long after a gynaec Laparoscopy can you get pregnant? - Dr. Shefali Tyagi
It depends on why the laparoscopy was done. What was the indication for laparoscopy? Laparoscopy can be done in various conditions. Suppose if you are planning pregnancy and have been trying for sometimes and it doesn’t succeed, that is for infertility. Second is of you have any cysts in the ovary that is for endometriosis, or any other cysts that needs to be removed like dermoid cysts, then you might require laparoscopy. Third condition is myomectomy has to be done for fibroid uterus, then you require laparoscopy. So it depends on the condition on which laparoscopy has been done then you can plan pregnancy again, if it is simple cyst, which has been removed in the ovary, then 2 cycles after laparoscopy has been done then you can start conceiving again, that means you can wait for 2 months after tour laparoscopy to start planning again. But if it is a condition like myomectomy where the fibroid has been removed, then you have wait for minimum of 6 months , then you can start planning again. So your doctor will clearly tell you how long you should wait for trying to plan again.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS, is a common HORMONAL disorder affecting about 10% of all women of reproductive age. PCOS is diagnosed when AT LEAST 2 of the following symptoms are present: - IRregular periods due to MISSED ovulation. - excess male hormone (androgen) as evidenced by lab tests or physical signs, such as excess facial and body, severe acne, and baldness. - presence of numerous small fluid-filled cysts in the ovaries which can be seen as dark circles on an ultrasound image. This is the symptom that originally gave the condition its name but is NOT always present in PCOS patients. PCOS is highly heritable, but the inheritance pattern is complex, with multiple genetic factors implicated in the susceptibility to the disease. While the exact cause of PCOS is unknown, disturbances in a number of hormones are thought to be responsible. PCOS patients usually have EXCESS luteinizing hormone, LH, together with a relatively LOW level of follicle-stimulating hormone, FSH, and increased levels of insulin. An ovary contains hundreds of thousands of IMMATURE eggs, each of these is enclosed in a structure called a follicle. Each month, a number of these follicles develop, compete with each other; and one of them survives and gives rise to a MATURE egg that is released during ovulation. Follicle development is mediated by FSH, a pituitary hormone. In PCOS patients, FSH deficiency results in ARREST of follicular maturation: the follicles stop halfway through their development and become cysts. IMPAIRED follicular development means NO mature egg produced or released, hence the ABSENCE of ovulation. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas and is necessary for consumption of blood glucose by the body’s cells. INcreased insulin level in PCOS patients is a result of the body compensatory response to insulin RESISTANCE associated with PCOS. Excess insulin, together with high levels of luteinizing hormone, induce and maintain overproduction of androgen by the ovaries. Common complications of PCOS include: infertility, miscarriage or premature birth, type 2 diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, mood disorders, and endometrial cancer. While the choice of treatment may depend on the patient’s individual concerns, treating insulin resistance is generally recommended for all women with PCOS. Life style changes such as exercise, dieting and weight loss, and medications such as metformin, can LOWER both insulin and androgen levels, thus reducing the risks of type 2 diabetes, and improving ovulation. Patients who want to get pregnant may also be prescribed anti-estrogen medications such as clomiphene. On the other hand, when fertility is not the goal of treatment, hormonal birth control, a combination of estrogen and progestin, is usually prescribed to regulate the menstrual cycle and reduce risks of endometrial cancer.

(Tamil) Learn more about the Follicular Study to assess a woman's internal organs
Follicular tracking involves scanning the ovaries regularly during the menstrual cycle and observing the follicles as they increase in size. A follicular study examines the ovarian follicles using a transvaginal scan. The tissues containing eggs and the thickness of the endometrial lining are studied to determine the period that the patient is likely to ovulate. When the eggs are mature, patients are advised to have planned relations or Intrauterine Insemination or proceed with egg collection in case of an In-Vitro Fertilization Cycle. Generally, these scans will start around day 9 of the cycle and continue till day 20 that is around 8 to 11 scans. It is a vital process for getting pregnant including through fertility treatments like IVF.
