Review How To Get Natural Allergy Sinus Relief Remedies. Stops Claritin, Zyrtec, Sudafed, Dimetapp
Testimony From One Of Our Desert Willow Botanicals Customers Who Stops Using Claritin, Zyrtec, Sudafed, Dimetapp and all Over the Counter Medicine That Was Not Working For Our Allergy and Sinus Formula. All Natural Allergy & Sinus Relief Remedies! Desert Willow Botanicals extracts are technically tinctures, though they are stronger than many tinctures available on the market. A big difference in the production of our extracts is that we make sure our plants are harvested at the peak of their potency. For instance, if the root of a particular herb is what is being used, the best time to harvest the root is when the plant is dormant with no flowers or leaves visible. This is the time when all of the plant’s energy is in the root. With many herbs, this is what makes a big difference in the potency of the product. Our extensive knowledge in maximum potency harvesting times for each herb used in our extracts is very important. The herb is then ground and mixed with grain alcohol and distilled water and extracted for over a month. It is then pressed out, along with the concentrated extracted plant juices. No heat is used in the process. (602) 451-5252 To talk to a real person! Is it safe to take over-the-counter allergy medication while nursing?
There are many different over-the-counter medications that can help alleviate the symptoms associated with seasonal allergies. But if you're nursing, then of course you're going to think "what's safe for me to take?" The best thing to do would be to call your pediatrician and they can give you the best information. They can talk to you about what would be safe for your baby and also discuss different ingredients in over-the-counter allergy medications to steer clear of because they can affect your milk supply. Good luck with everything and if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/intermountainmoms and recommend us to your friends and family, too.

Barbara Grubbs Nurse Practitioner PO Box 210062 Columbia, SC 29221 barbara@barbaragrubbs.com FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/forpreventionsake TWITTER https://twitter.com/PreventionSake YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMtwG2XoohI9XEb9rMWpqgQ Nasal congestion is a very common symptom often related to colds or allergies. Antiboitics do not help colds or allergies and may make them worse. In this video I'm going to discuss over the counter solutions for nasal congestion. Decongestants may help your symptoms of nasal congestion by making the blood vessels in the lining of your nose smaller. This vasoconstrictive effect reduces swelling ,inflammation and mucus formation in the nasal passages and makes it easier to breath. The bad part about many decongestants is that they don't only make the vessels in your nasal passages smaller but they affect the vessels in your entire body as well which can lead to an elevated blood pressure. For Americans that already have high blood pressure, this could be dangerous. Common decongestants are Phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine. Sometimes these medications are kept behind the pharmacy counter. They are not prescription medications so you just need to ask your pharmacist for them. Many of the multisymptom cold and flu concoctions available on the market today have one of these decongestants in them. It's important to look at the ingredients and understand what you are taking so that you don't overdose and so that you know how your body responds to certain ingredients. Decongestants can make some people feel jittery or have trouble sleeping. Those with high blood pressure may want to steer clear of oral decongestants. You should only treat the symptoms you have. Any and all medications carry with them possible risks and side effects. That being said, if you don't treat some cold symptoms they may worsen. Thick Germy secretions that sit in your sinuses for a prolonged period of time can become bacterially infected and this is what we are trying to prevent. So it's a balancing act. Be aware that many medications combine different types of ingredients into one product. Many antihistamines have decongestants with them. Usually they will have a D attached to the name. Some common combinations are Allegra-D, Claritin-D, and Zyrtec-D. This is why I'm trying to get you familiar with the generic names of drugs and looking at the ingredients in everything you buy. It can all become very confusing, overwhelming and expensive!! Instead of an oral decongestant you could also try a nasal decongestant such as Afrin (oxymetazoline), Nasal decongestants especially can start making your symptoms worse if used longer than 3 days. It's very important to use these medications correctly. Other nasal sprays that are now on the market as otc options include nasocort and flonase. These are nasal steroids. They too work by reducing swelling and mucus in the nasal passageways and they are safer to use for longer periods. A nasal spray with xylitol has been shown to be effective with keeping the nasal cavity moisturized. If you are going to use nasal sprays then you should know how to administer them correctly. You should blow your nose prior to using them. A common mistake is to spray the septum of your nose which separates your two nostrils. If you do this it may cause bleeding. That is not a side effect of the medication. It's improper administration. Instead you should gently tilt your head forward pointing your nose toward your toes and spray the medication in your nostril but aimed straight back or a little towards your ear. Gently breath in or sniff the medication while spraying it so that it doesn't drip back out but be careful not to sharply inhale it or it will just go down the back of your throat. Nasal irrigation works wonders to clean out your sinus cavities and remove contaminants and irritants directly. It's cheap and it's available over the counter.
Tips for managing allergies!!
FOR THE TL;DR CROWD: 1- Use a new-gen allergy pill like allegra, claritin, zyrtec, etc for at least 2 weeks prior to allergy season. Take it daily until allergy season is over. also... 2- Use a nasal steroid spray. There is an OTC called Nasicort now for $20, and you can get Flonase with prescription, or another generic. They all help fight nasal/sinus inflammation. Use a week prior to allergy season and it will make your life better. 3- Keep a "pollen free zone" in your home. Don't wear street clothes on your bed, and don't wear outside clothes into your room. Shower after being outside!!

Topical Corticosteroids Although not recommended half as often, this is another option, one that your doctor may suggest if you are dealing with allergies. These work by helping to control the itching, swelling and inflammation caused by allergies. Treat Sinus Infections and Bronchitis with One Little Trick
A simple homemade recipe that requires only two ingredients can eliminate a headache as well as other sinus issues naturally without resorting to medications that have harmful side effects. These are also ineffective treating the actual problem. A sinus infection is an inflammation of the paranasal sinus cavities that affects the membranes that cover the nasal bones. It occurs after someone doesn’t fully recover from a cold, and is brought about by a fungus or virus affecting the inflamed area. There are two types of sinus infections: acute and chronic. The last one normally occurs after an acute sinus infection that wasn’t treated correctly, causing the problem to turn chronic. People that suffer from sinus infections face periodic relapses, especially in the winter and when climatic changes happen. Have you ever notice that normally people who deal with sinus infections suffer more in tropical climates? The good news is that these infections can be treated with a very special recipe, that we’d like to teach you now. It’s made with turnips or horseradish, and it’s highly effective, bringing about surprising results—even for those who don’t really believe in natural remedies. Horseradish is a powerful nasal decongestant. Turnips are also a good substitute. They are rich in sulfur, with natural anti-biotic properties to fight infections. At the same time, they work as an anti-bacterial expectorant, opening up the breathing passages, heating up the body and stimulating the immune system. The recipe is very simple. Grate a fresh medium size turnip or horseradish. Put it in a jar with a lid and pour a little vinegar over it. Cover it completely. Close the lid, sealing the jar tightly and keep it on the shelf at room temperature for ten days. After ten days, the remedy will be ready for use. So, how should you use it? It’s pretty simple too. You simply open the lid to the jar and inhale the aroma for five minutes. Do this several times a day. You can also pour a little bit of the mixture on a washcloth, and at bedtime, place the washcloth on your forehead to alleviate a headache. This mixture should last for ten days, which should also be sufficient to treat a sinus infection or alleviate a headache that this type of infection causes. You could also inhale the vapor of the turnip. To do this, boil two liters of water with one hundred grams of turnip and breathe in the vapor deeply while keeping your head covered with a towel.
