9 Hormonal Imbalance Signs Everyone Should Know

07:41
Here are the 9 most common symptoms of hormonal imbalance that can negatively affect you. If you suspect that you have any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor immediately! The rhythm of life, with all its stresses and environmental problems, doesn’t let you fully take care of your physical health. Despite this fact, your body and the way you look may be sending you signals about major health concerns that need to be dealt with. We all want to look our best but this doesn’t necessarily have to involve overpriced salon services, cosmetics or exercise. Your own hormones can “speak” for themselves. The development of the human body greatly depends on the function of hormones. These tiny signaling molecules are responsible for our mood, emotions, behavior and even our looks. TIMESTAMPS Acne 1:07 Excess weight 1:47 Fatigue 2:32 Sweating 3:16 Dark circles under the eyes 3:53 Depression 4:39 Breast changes 5:24 Hair loss 5:59 Unwanted hair 6:37 SUMMARY - Outbreaks of acne can be the result of improper skin care, an unbalanced diet, or your menstrual cycle. However, if acne has become a consistent foe, it’s probably a symptom of a hormonal disorder. - Many people struggle with their weight their whole lives, resisting food cravings and doing exercise; others are thin without any particular effort. Hormone-related problems are most likely to be the culprit of this injustice. - Always feeling tired despite no changes in your habits or environment is a much more serious problem known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which can be a result of hormones that are off balance. - If you have fluctuations in your body temperature, the issue could be both neurological and hormonal. Again, contact a health professional if you feel like you’re experiencing these symptoms. - Chronic insomnia may be the result of testosterone insufficiency in men and progesterone insufficiency in women. The good news is that sleep deficiency due to hormonal imbalance can be cured! - Depression can be another symptom of fluctuating hormone levels. Anxiety and depression can occur just before a woman’s menstrual cycle, during pregnancy, and during menopause. If you’re having more frequent panic attacks and anxiety, talk to an endocrinologist. - Low levels of estrogen can make breast tissue less dense whereas excessively high levels of this hormone can cause lumps or cysts. If you notice any changes in your breasts or you feel any lumps in your breast tissue, consult a doctor immediately. - Excessive hair loss is one of the most common symptoms of hormonal imbalance. Take control of your eyesight and headaches. Worsening vision and frequent headaches may signalize instability in the pituitary gland, the hormone epicenter. Don’t just give up and blame it on stress and hard work. Get yourself checked out! Taking care of your health should be top priority. Know your body and listen to the signals it’s sending to you so that you can be in tip-top shape. How Hormones Work in the Body Animation - Endocrine System Anatomy & Physiology Video - Hypothalamus

01:52
The endocrine system is primarily composed of glands that produce chemical messengers called hormones. Glands of the endocrine system include the pituitary gland, the thyroid gland, the parathyroid glands, the thymus, and the adrenal glands. Other glands are also included within the endocrine system since they contain endocrine tissue that secretes hormones. These include the pancreas, ovaries and testes. The endocrine and nervous systems work very closely together. The brain continuously sends instructions to the endocrine system, and in return receives feedback from the endocrine glands. Because of this intimate relationship, the nervous and endocrine systems are referred to as the neuroendocrine system. The hypothalamus is known as the master switchboard because it’s the part of the brain that controls the endocrine system. The pituitary gland, which hangs by a thin stalk from the hypothalamus, is called the master gland of the body because it regulates the activity of the endocrine glands. The hypothalamus detects the rising level of the target organ's hormones then sends either hormonal or electrical messages to the pituitary gland. In response, the pituitary gland releases hormones, which travel through the bloodstream to a target endocrine gland, instructing it to stop producing its hormones. Here's how the endocrine system keeps itself in check: eventually, the hypothalamus detects the rising level of the target organ's hormones, and sends a message to the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland then stops releasing certain hormones, causing the target organ to stop producing its hormones. The endocrine system constantly adjusts hormone levels so that the body can function normally. This process is called homeostasis. The endocrine system is the collection of glands of an organism that secrete hormones directly into the circulatory system to be carried towards distant target organs. In humans, the major endocrine glands include the pineal gland, pituitary gland, pancreas, ovaries, testes, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, and adrenal glands. In vertebrates, the hypothalamus is the neural control center for all endocrine systems. The field of study dealing with the endocrine system and its disorders is endocrinology, a branch of internal medicine. Special features of endocrine glands are, in general, their ductless nature, their vascularity, and commonly the presence of intracellular vacuoles or granules that store their hormones. In contrast, exocrine glands, such as salivary glands, sweat glands, and glands within the gastrointestinal tract, tend to be much less vascular and have ducts or a hollow lumen. A number of glands that signal each other in sequence are usually referred to as an axis, for example, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. In addition to the specialized endocrine organs mentioned above, many other organs that are part of other body systems, such as bone, kidney, liver, heart and gonads, have secondary endocrine functions. For example, the kidney secretes endocrine hormones such as erythropoietin and renin. Hormones can consist of either amino acid complexes, steroids, eicosanoids, leukotrienes, or prostaglandins. The endocrine system is in contrast to the exocrine system, which secretes its hormones to the outside of the body using ducts. As opposed to endocrine factors that travel considerably longer distances via the circulatory system, other signaling molecules, such as paracrine factors involved in paracrine signalling diffuse over a relatively short distance. The human endocrine system consists of several systems that operate via feedback loops. Several important feedback systems are mediated via the hypothalamus and pituitary. TRH – TSH – T3/T4 GnRH – LH/FSH – sex hormones CRH – ACTH – cortisol Renin – angiotensin – aldosterone leptin vs. insulin Endocrine glands are glands of the endocrine system that secrete their products, hormones, directly into instastial spaces and then absorbed into blood rather than through a duct. The major glands of the endocrine system include the pineal gland, pituitary gland, pancreas, ovaries, testes, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, hypothalamus and adrenal glands. The hypothalamus and pituitary gland are neuroendocrine organs. The Hypothalamus Essentials The portion of the brain that maintains the body’s internal balance (homeostasis). The hypothalamus is the link between the endocrine and nervous systems. The hypothalamus produces releasing and inhibiting hormones, which stop and start the production of other hormones throughout the body. Pituitary Gland Essentials: The hormones of the pituitary gland help regulate the functions of other endocrine glands. The pituitary gland has two parts—the anterior lobe and posterior lobe—that have two very separate functions.

What Does Sugar Do To Your Body? 10 Proven Negative Effects of Sugar

05:05
To support our channel and level up your health, check out: Our Fast Weight Loss Course: http://thehealthnerds.com/the-science-of-fast-weight-loss-course Our Better Health Basics Course: http://thehealthnerds.com/food-health-happiness Today, we’re going to be answering the question of what does sugar do to your body and the 10 negative effects of sugar. #1. Sugar can give you wrinkles and adds age to your face Scientists from the Leiden University Medical Centre, in the Netherlands, measured the blood sugar levels of 600 men and women aged between 50 and 70. In fact, for every 1mm/liter increase in blood sugar, the perceived age of that person rose by five months. http://www.research.leiden.edu/news/looking-older-blood-sugar-plays-a-role.html #2. Sugar is Also Associated With Acne Foods ranked high on the Glycemic Index such as sugar and refined carbs have been associated with greater amounts of acne on the face and body according to the latest research. A study of Australian men showed that those who ate a diet with a low glycemic load saw a great reduction in overall acne. It was a small study with only 23 men but is still food for thought. https://www.aad.org/media/news-releases/growing-evidence-suggests-possible-link-between-diet-and-acne #3. Sugary drinks cause an 83% increase in developing type II diabetes In one study of 91,249 women showed those who consumed 1 sugar-sweetened beverage a day had an 83% increased risk of developing type II diabetes compared to those who had only 1 a month. #4. People who eat sugar are at a much higher risk of cancer There has been a direct link seen between breast, and colon cancer with sugar consumption. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0306987783900956 http://cebp.aacrjournals.org/content/6/9/677.short This is likely due to the fact that insulin is one of the key factors behind the growth and multiplication of cells, and sugar spikes insulin to abnormally high levels. #5. Sugar Can Ruin Your Teeth A study by the American Journal of clinical nutrition showed that sugar destroys the healthy bacteria in our mouth. This can cause tooth erosions and may dim that bright smile. http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/78/4/881S.full What about sugar and weight gain? There are 5 proven reason sugar leads to added weight gain... #6. Sugar is the premier definition of empty calories. It has no real nutritional value, no nutrients, no minerals, no proteins, and no fiber. Because of this lack of nutrients… #7. Sugar makes you feel hungry In a study by Yale University, those that consumed sugar had an INCREASED appetite and desire for more food. http://yaledailynews.com/blog/2013/01/15/overeating-linked-to-sugar-consumption/ So not only does sugar fill you with empty calories, it makes you want more of those calories. This process happens because sugar screws up hormonal levels in the body. Which leads to #8. Sugar blocks leptin and raises insulin to supernatural levels Leptin is a hormone in charge of telling us we’re full and need to stop eating. It also tells us we have energy and should go out and use that energy. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18703413 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15111494 Sugar consumption blocks this hormone from doing its job and from reaching the brain. http://nutritionandmetabolism.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1743-7075-2-5 9. Sugar causes belly fat Numerous studies have shown direct links from sugar to increased accumulation of belly fat. Despite knowing all this, it’s hard to stop eating sugar because http://www.jci.org/articles/view/37385 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19248858 #10. Sugar is addictive Similar to drugs like cocaine, scientists have now shown that sugar causes a very similar release of dopamine in the brain. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2235907 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2851032/ Studies on neuroplasticity have shown that drug users have similar behavioral addictions to those addicted to sugar. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3139704/ Point black. Sugar is ADDICTING and comes without the immediate social repercussions of frequent drug use. That’s why it’s so hard to stop eating it. How much should you eat per day? None. There is not a reason to be eating this food in your diet, but only on the rare occasion as a treat. What about fruit? Fruit has fiber, vitamins, minerals, water, and tons of nutrients that refined sugar does not have. http://www.bmj.com/content/347/bmj.f5001 Sticking to whole sources like apples, oranges, and berries are a better idea. What should you do if you can’t stop eating sugar? I think this subject needs to be covered in greater detail, so either next week or sometime soon we will be making a video about breaking sugar addiction if that’s something you guys want.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped ENDOCRINE gland located in the neck. It is wrapped around the trachea, just below the thyroid cartilage –the Adam’s apple. The two major hormones of the thyroid are triiodothyronine, T3 and thyroxine, T4. The numbers 3 and 4 indicate the number of iodine atoms present in a molecule of each hormone. T3 and T4 are collectively referred to as THYROID hormones. Thyroid hormone secretion is under control of thyroid-stimulating hormone, TSH, from the anterior pituitary. TSH, in turn, is induced by thyrotropin-releasing hormone, TRH, produced by the hypothalamus. The amount of circulating thyroid hormones is regulated by a negative feedback loop: when their levels are too high, they SUPPRESS the production of TSH and TRH, consequently INHIBITING their own production. Thyroid hormones act to INCREASE the body’s metabolic rate. They stimulate appetite, digestion, breakdown of nutrients and absorption. They also increase oxygen consumption, raise the breathing rate, heart rate and contraction strength. As a result, the body’s HEAT production is INCREASED. Thyroid hormone secretion usually rises in winter months to keep the body warm. Thyroid hormones are also important for bone growth and fetal brain development. There are 2 major groups of thyroid problems: HYPOthyroidism: when the thyroid does NOT produce ENOUGH hormones, resulting in a LOW metabolic rate, combined with SLOW respiratory and cardiovascular activities. Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain despite poor appetite, cold intolerance, slow heart rate, heavy menstrual bleeding and constipation. Iodine deficiency and Hashimoto's thyroiditis are the most common causes. Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease in which the thyroid gland is gradually destroyed by the body’s own immune system. Hypothyroidism, especially when caused by iodine deficiency, may lead to swelling of the thyroid gland, known as GOITER. In an attempt to fix the low levels of thyroid hormones, the pituitary produces MORE TSH to further stimulate the thyroid gland. The thyroid, while UNable to make hormones WITHOUT iodine, responds to TSH by GROWING in size. Hypothyroidism is managed with thyroxine hormone replacement. HYPERthyroidism: when the thyroid gland produces TOO MUCH hormones, resulting in a TOO ACTIVE metabolism, together with respiratory and cardiovascular rates that are HIGHER than necessary. Common symptoms include irritability, insomnia, weight loss despite good appetite, heat intolerance, heart racing and diarrhea. Hyperthyroidism is most commonly caused by Graves' disease, another autoimmune disorder characterized by presence of an antibody, called thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin, TSI. TSI, similar to TSH, stimulates the thyroid gland to produce hormones. Unlike TSH, however, TSI is NOT regulated by negative feedback mechanisms, leading to UNcontrolled production of thyroid hormones. TSI also stimulates the thyroid gland to grow, which MAY lead to formation of a goiter. Hyperthyroidism may be managed with drugs that suppress thyroid function, radioactive iodine that selectively destroys the thyroid gland, or surgery that removes part of the gland.

Human Growth Hormone Explained: Everything You Need to Know (Made Simple to Understand)

The emphasis is understanding these hormones and ways to promote them naturally. Please like, subscribe, comment and share! SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/DrJohnKiel FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/medicinelifestyle TWITTER: https://twitter.com/LifestyleMedYou This peptide hormone, also known as somatotropin, human growth hormone or HGH, is a physiologically active hormone that has a significant role in multiple processes of the human body. Growth hormone synthesis, production and regulation occurs in the hypothalamus-pituitary axis. These two glands, located in the brain, are responsible for a wide variety of hormone regulation that includes thyroid function, reproductive hormones such as estrogen and testosterone, adrenaline, dopamine, and others in addition to growth hormone. The regulatory process is somewhat complex and has an entire medical specialty dedicated to it known as endocrinology, so I won’t dive any deeper into that discussion but I would encourage you to look it up if you want to know more. This is an anabolic hormone; in other words it ‘promotes growth’. While this includes skeletal muscle, it’s certainly not limited to it. It’s worth noting that it is not androgenic, as opposed to testosterone, meaning it doesn’t promote male sex characteristics such as facial hair and deeper voice. The most prominent effect of this hormone is that it promotes bone growth and is the primary hormone responsible for growing to an adult size. In children, it’s largely responsible for determining height, and is modulated by several mechanisms. Secretion peaks during puberty, where the most bone growth occurs, and then declines with age (like most hormones). Along with bone growth, it promotes bone mineralization and calcium retention. Other functions include: Skeletal muscle proteins synthesis, specifically sarcomere hypertrophy Increase in lean body mass Fat breakdown (lipolysis) Protein synthesis elsewhere (not just muscle) Decrease cellular uptake of glucose Increased glucose synthesis (gluconeogenesis) Release of insulin-like growth factor 1 (will discuss separately) Growth of other organs Pancreas regulation Immune system stimulation Promotes thyroid activity

Endocrinologist Explains How Hormones Function And Affect Our Bodies

12:35
Why is it so important to have your hormones in a balance? Hormones have profound effects on your mental, physical and emotional health. These chemical messengers play a major role in controlling your appetite, weight and mood, among other things. Normally, your endocrine glands produce the precise amount of each hormone needed for various processes in your body. However, hormonal imbalances have become increasingly common with today's fast-paced modern lifestyle. In addition, certain hormones decline with age, and some people experience a more dramatic decrease than others. Bloating, fatigue, irritability, hair loss, palpitations, mood swings, problems with blood sugar, trouble concentrating, infertility -- these are just a few symptoms of hormone imbalance. These compounds affect every cell and system in the body. Hormone imbalance can debilitate you. Some hormonal shifts are normal, like monthly fluctuations responsible for menstruation and ovulation or the changes that occur during pregnancy. Menopause is another time for a normal hormonal shift in a woman's life. Other times these fluctuations may be due to a medication or a medical condition. Cortisol is an important hormone that may become imbalanced with stress or illness. Low intensity exercise can help lower elevated cortisol levels. Stress impacts adrenal function and hormone levels. Get acquainted with hormone imbalance symptoms and signs so you can notice when things in your body and mind don't seem right. Want to know about other hormones and how to find out if they are out of balance? Watch this video till the very end! 10 Easy Ways to Boost Testosterone Naturally

09:06
How to boost testosterone naturally? There are many misconceptions when it comes to testosterone. Some people connect it with aggressive behavior; some believe that the more testosterone a man has, the more “macho” he is. In any case, there are men who want to have as much testosterone in their system as possible. Luckily, it's not that difficult. TIMESTAMPS: Try weight lifting and exercising 1:25 Keep stress and cortisol levels to a minimum 2:27 Follow a balanced diet rich in proteins, carbs, and fat 3:05 Get enough sunlight or take a vitamin D supplement 3:59 Get enough restful sleep 4:47 Take mineral and vitamin supplements 5:33 Take natural testosterone boosters 6:16 Lead a healthy lifestyle, and avoid estrogen-like compounds 6:53 Review your medications 7:36 Lose weight 8:07 #hightestosterone #hormones #lowtestosterone Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - As you know, exercising regularly can help you avoid many diseases connected with a sedentary lifestyle. Surprisingly, it will also boost testosterone levels! - The level of testosterone in your body depends on how stressed you are. Here is the connection: if you're suffering from long-term stress, the level of cortisol (a stress hormone) goes up. The higher the level of cortisol, the lower the level of testosterone. - According to one famous saying, you are what you eat. Interestingly, your testosterone level also depends on what you eat. Both severe dieting and overeating can disrupt testosterone production. - The importance of vitamin D has come to light in recent years. It’s no wonder, as it has a lot of advantages and health benefits. For example, it works as a natural booster of testosterone. - Getting the proper amount of high-quality sleep is a necessary condition for increasing testosterone levels. Sure, everybody has their own perfect sleep duration. But a 2011 study into the effect that one week of sleep restriction had on the testosterone levels of healthy young men showed interesting results. - Certain vitamins and supplements can also boost the production of testosterone. For example, magnesium supplements will restore the levels of testosterone if the cause of the drop is a deficiency of this mineral. - There are also herbs and spices that can effectively boost your testosterone level. The best ones are ashwagandha and ginger. - Testosterone levels can be negatively affected by estrogen-like chemicals. If you’re overexposed to parabens, BPA, and some chemicals often found in plastic, try to reduce this exposure to a minimum. - When your doctor prescribes medicine, you can be sure that it’ll help you deal with a particular health condition. Unfortunately, medications are a pretty common reason for low testosterone levels. - According to several studies, there's a connection between how much a man weighs and his testosterone levels. Men who are a bit on the heavy side have less testosterone than those whose weight is within the norms. Hormones In The Body

37:19
Hormones In The Body https://www.thelifeco.com/en/therapies/well-aging-therapies Hormones in the body are part of a very complicated system. The hormonal system is far more complex than most people realize. When people think of hormones, they think of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid as these are the most common. The truth is, there are many more hormones than these mentioned. Even the heart makes a hormone that deals with salt balance in our body. Our brain has hormones that go to the pituitary gland and that that gland makes more hormones. How important are hormones and how powerful are they? Well, if you took a 10-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy and just put on shorts and cut their hair very short, you couldn’t tell which was which. Fast forward to three years later and you can tell the difference easily. So, what happens in those three years? Hormones happened. Hormones change a boy into a man and a girl into a woman. Without the hormonal intervention, while we are still in the womb, we would all be females. That’s how important and powerful hormones are to us. A hormone is a chemical that is produced in one place and has its effect in another place in the body. We help balance hormones naturally at our center, contact us for more details here; https://www.thelifeco.com/en/therapies/well-aging-therapies https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMbRh6FGJl0YqpWKl-1I3GldlrAM1R95f https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV3cs0wtJUNOZ_iLXl7UYUw/videos

♂ 4 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Your Testosterone Levels, Naturally

07:32
My favorite, clinically proven formula for naturally increasing your testosterone and sex drive: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/MoreTestosterone Or you can look at this complete A to Z video about testosterone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wAaxL3UMuY #testosterone, #erectiledysfunction =============================================== 4 Clinically Proven Ways To Increase Your Testosterone Levels, Naturally =============================================== Healthy testosterone levels is important for optimal health, bone density, positive mood, sex drive, maximum muscle and strength, and also disease and cancer prevention for BOTH sexes. The good news is that many people, including doctors are aware of the numerous benefits of optimal testosterone levels. Unfortunately, many people are looking for a quick fix with “exogenous” (outside) testosterone -- such as injections, creams and pills. Unfortunately, when you add testosterone into your body, it has many negative side-effects if it’s not managed properly. It can actually cause the OPPOSITE effects over time. Doing it naturally is much better because you won’t have the negative effects and you’ll easily be able to maintain all the benefits long-term. Besides, even if you wanted to take exogenous testosterone (injections, creams, pills, etc.), utilizing today’s “natural” methods will only ENHANCE the positive effects and give you even more benefits. Diet What you eat, is just as important as what you DON’T eat. Food controls your hormones. PROTEIN About 25-35% of your protein source should be from fish, eggs and free range, grass fed bison/buffalo. All the other sources, even the “free range” chicken and cow/beef, still have lots of negative hormones -- despite what the government or “label” tells you. Make sure you also have WHOLE eggs daily because the cholesterol is needed to produce testosterone and other sex hormones. Just make sure it’s free range eggs. CARBS Have about 40-50% of your diet from healthy carbohydrates -- vegetables, fruits, lentils, yams, quinoa, and some white rice is fine in small amounts. FATS Make sure you have some healthy fats, about 25-30% of your diet. It helps produce many of your sex hormones, including testosterone. Most people eat the WRONG forms of fats, which can lower testosterone.13,14,15 Good fats are RAW coconut oil, macadamia oil, hemp oil, avocado, raw nuts/seeds and egg yolks. Exercise The RIGHT type of exercise can have dramatic effects on your hormones -- positive OR negative. Lifting heavy weights (6-10 repetitions) increases testosterone. You only need 3-4x weekly because too often will do the opposite because it’ll increase your stress hormone, Cortisol. Eliminate intense cardio such as running because it lowers testosterone and increases Cortisol, your stress hormone. Life-Style Lifestyle changes has to do more with stress management and rest. Sleep is very important. Most of us don’t get enough. So try to get to bed earlier. Squeeze in a little nap in the day as well if you can. This means negative thoughts, information, media … as well as negative people. You can’t eliminate it, but you can certainly REDUCE some of the negatives in your life. Supplements -- Natural Herbs & Vitamins Most of us are deficient in numerous herbs, vitamins and minerals. In fact, it’s estimated that we would need to eat at least 27,575 calories daily to get all the nutrients our bodies need. Because of this, I HIGHLY suggest you take specific herbs, vitamins and minerals to help boost your testosterone levels naturally, from within. Not only will your libido and sex drive increase, but you’ll feel younger, have more energy, increase your muscle mass and lose belly fat because of the naturally higher testosterone levels. And because this all happens naturally from WITHIN your own body, it’s safe for long-term use. Some of most effective and clinically proven herbal remedies boosting your testosterone are: Testofen® Fenugreek Extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum; 50% fenusides, 50% Saponins) Avena Sativa Extract (Oat Straw 100:1) Tongkat Ali Extract (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack 100:1) Maca Root (6% Extract) Bulgarian Pro-Tribulus™ Terrestris Extract (90% Sapongenins + 40% protodioscin) Stinging Nettle (95% Extract) (Urtica Dioica) L-Arginine Zinc + Copper Click here for a proven, 100% natural solution: ►http://drsam.co/yt/MoreTestosterone Or you can watch other videos related to erectile dysfunction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_z5fqph5YU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGfazrFHi70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT8_UoaqTC4 ========= Thank you for watching. How Does Pituitary Gland Work? Hormones of Hypophysis Functions & Disorders Animation -TSH FSH Video

03:00
The pituitary gland is often referred to as the "master gland" of the body, since it regulates many activities of other endocrine glands. Located above the pituitary gland is the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus decides which hormones the pituitary should release by sending it either hormonal or electrical messages. In response to hormonal messages from the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland releases the following hormones: GH (growth hormone) – increases size of muscle and bone TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) – stimulates the thyroid gland to release T3 and T4 to stimulate metabolism in other cells throughout the body FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) – stimulates ovarian follicle production in women; stimulates sperm production in men LH (luteinizing hormone) – stimulates ovaries to produce estrogen in women; stimulates sperm production in men Prolactin – stimulates breast tissue in nursing mothers to produce milk ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) - causes the adrenal glands to produce important substances that have properties similar to steroids In response to electrical messages from the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland releases the following hormones: ADH (antidiuretic hormone) - stimulates the kidneys to reabsorb fluid and produce less urine Oxytocin – initiates labor, uterine contractions and milk ejection in mothers The pituitary gland, or hypophysis, is an endocrine gland about the size of a pea and weighing 0.5 grams (0.018 oz) in humans. It is a protrusion off the bottom of the hypothalamus at the base of the brain. The hypophysis rests upon the hypophysial fossa of the sphenoid bone in the center of the middle cranial fossa and is surrounded by a small bony cavity (sella turcica) covered by a dural fold (diaphragma sellae). The anterior pituitary (or adenohypophysis) is a lobe of the gland that regulates several physiological processes (including stress, growth, reproduction, and lactation). The intermediate lobe synthesizes and secretes melanocyte-stimulating hormone. The posterior pituitary (or neurohypophysis) is a lobe of the gland that is functionally connected to the hypothalamus by the median eminence via a small tube called the pituitary stalk Hormones secreted from the pituitary gland help control the following body processes: Growth Blood pressure Some aspects of pregnancy and childbirth including stimulation of uterine contractions during childbirth Breast milk production Sex organ functions in both males and females Thyroid gland function The conversion of food into energy (metabolism) Water and osmolarity regulation in the body Water balance via the control of reabsorption of water by the kidneys Temperature regulation Pain relief Sleeping patterns (pineal gland) Some of the diseases involving the pituitary gland are: Central diabetes insipidus caused by a deficiency of vasopressin. Gigantism and acromegaly caused by an excess of growth hormone in childhood and adult respectively. Hypothyroidism caused by a deficiency of thyroid-stimulating hormone. Hyperpituitarism, the increased (hyper) secretion of one or more of the hormones normally produced by the pituitary gland. Hypopituitarism, the decreased (hypo) secretion of one or more of the hormones normally produced by the pituitary gland. Panhypopituitarism a decreased secretion of most of the pituitary hormones. Pituitary tumours. Pituitary adenomas, noncancerous tumors that occur in the pituitary gland. Somatotrophins: Human growth hormone (HGH), also referred to as 'growth hormone' (GH), and also as somatotropin, is released under the influence of hypothalamic growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), and is inhibited by hypothalamic somatostatin Thyrotrophins: Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), is released under the influence of hypothalamic thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) and is inhibited by somatostatin. Corticotropins: Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), and Beta-endorphin are released under the influence of hypothalamic corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH). Lactotrophins: Prolactin (PRL), also known as 'Luteotropic' hormone (LTH), Gonadotropins: Luteinizing hormone (also referred to as 'Lutropin' or 'LH'). Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), both released under influence of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) The intermediate lobe synthesizes and secretes the following important endocrine hormone: Melanocyte–stimulating hormone (MSH). This is also produced in the anterior lobe. When produced in the intermediate lobe, MSHs are sometimes called "intermedins". Posterior: Magnocellular Neurons: Antidiuretic hormone (ADH, also known as vasopressin and arginine vasopressin AVP), the majority of which is released from the supraoptic nucleus in the hypothalamus. Oxytocin, most of which is released from the paraventricular nucleus in the hypothalamus.

Female Reproductive System | मादा प्रजनन प्रणाली | Science | Vivek Kumar Srivastava | YouTube

Subscribe Our Youtube Channel #Vivek_Kumar_Srivastava for every topic: https://youtube.com/c/VivekKumarShreevastava The female germ-cells or eggs are made in the ovaries. They are also responsible for the production of some hormones. identify the various organs in the female reproductive system. When a girl is born, the ovaries already contain thousands of immature eggs. On reaching puberty, some of these start maturing. One egg is produced every month by one of the ovaries. The egg is carried from the ovary to the womb through a thin oviduct or fallopian tube. The two oviducts unite into an elastic bag-like structure known as the uterus. The uterus opens into the vagina through the cervix. The sperms enter through the vaginal passage during sexual intercourse. They travel upwards and reach the oviduct where they may encounter the egg. The fertilised egg, the zygote, gets implanted in the lining of the uterus, and starts dividing. We have seen in earlier sections that the mother’s body is designed to undertake the development of the child. Hence the uterus prepares itself every month to receive and nurture the growing embryo. The lining thickens and is richly supplied with blood to nourish the growing embryo. The embryo gets nutrition from the mother’s blood with the help of a special tissue called placenta. This is a disc which is embedded in the uterine wall. It contains villi on the embryo’s side of the tissue. On the mother’s side are blood spaces, which surround the villi. This provides a large surface area for glucose and oxygen to pass from the mother to the embryo. The developing embryo will also generate waste substances which can be removed by transferring them into the mother’s blood through the placenta. The development of the child inside the mother’s body takes approximately nine months. The child is born as a result of rhythmic contractions of the muscles in the uterus. #ScienceVideoLecture prepared by #Navya #Radha #Abhi #Ram & #VivekSrivastava

6 Ways To “Naturally” Boost Human Growth Hormone

04:32
How Any Man or Woman OVER 35 Can Shrink & Incinerate Stubborn Fat Cells in 12 Minutes FLAT: http://gl12.net/ytboosthghreport Hey, everybody. Shaun Hadsall here, with Get Lean in 12. And inside this video, I'm going to cover about a half a dozen ways that you can naturally increase human growth hormone inside your body. This is your anti-aging fountain of youth hormone that can help you live longer, look younger, and burn more belly fat. Now, if you're watching this, you're not familiar with me, I'm a 45-year-old stubborn fat expert. I'm a grandpa to three beautiful grandkids. I've been in the health and fitness industry over 20 years. I've taken a couple of my products to the online Top 10 bestseller list in the Clickbank marketplace. And over the last five years, I've helped over 100,000 people across the globe. So let's talk about growth hormone and how you can naturally increase growth hormone, just by manipulating a few things with your exercise and diet. The first one is to make sure that you're low in belly fat. So losing weight is probably the number one way to increase growth hormone, because research shows that the more belly fat, the more body fat or the more visceral fat that you have, the less likely you are to have optimal growth hormone levels. And conversely, people who are leaner, have higher growth hormone levels. So those belly fat first. The second one is intermittent fasting, which is very trendy in today's day and age. It's not for everybody. I believe the best protocol to follow is to fast for 12 to 16 hours four or five days of the week. So if your last meal was at 8 PM at night, the next day, you would break your fast between 8 AM noon. Now, if you are a male, you're going to get more benefits by waiting as close to noon as you can. If you're a female, you want to keep the window 12 to 14 hours, because your hormones are a lot different than men. And fasting over 14 hours could potentially be detrimental to your hormones. The other method to use with intermittent fasting is just called the cheat fast. So one day a week-- and it works best after a cheat day-- is to fast for 18 to 24 hours afterwards. You just consume water, tea, and coffee with no calories in it. And by doing this, studies have shown that your growth hormone will increase significantly. In fact, I was looking at a chart here. There's a study that showed that somebody who actually fasted for three days-- so a three day fast-- increased growth hormone levels by 300%. And after one week of fasting-- which I would obviously never recommend-- levels had increased by a massive 1,250%. So again, going back to the basics, 12 to 16 hours four or five days of the week is the easiest one to use, and the most healthy. And then a cheat fast for one time a week where you do 18 to 24 hours, can also be very effective. The next one is reduce sugar intake. Pretty obvious, but excessive sugar kills your growth hormone levels. The next one after that is don't eat directly before bed. When you eat directly before bed, it's not necessarily going to make you fat. But it does spike insulin. Insulin is your storage hormone. It's the antagonist to growth hormone. So when insulin levels are elevated, growth hormone levels are lower. Conversely, when you keep insulin stable or low for long periods of time, you'll see growth hormone levels rise. So by eating about two hours before bed, you allow insulin to stabilize after your last meal, allowing you to not only release more melatonin while you sleep, but to release more growth hormone. Speaking of melatonin, the next tip to increase your GH is to get seven to eight hours of sleep per night. People who sleep six hours or less, it only takes a couple of weeks before their cortisol levels skyrocket. Remember, when cortisol is elevated like that, it's going to be almost impossible for your body to produce adequate growth hormone levels. And the last and final method is to use high intensity exercise. And there's specific movement patterns that are done for specific durations at specific intensity levels that you can use to release up to 700% more growth hormone in only 12 minutes. Somewhere around this video, you're going to see a link to click or tap and you're going to go over to my website. And you're going to learn about this 12 minute fountain of youth metabolic trick that can reactivate your declining fat loss hormones and elevate growth hormone up to 700%. So somewhere around this video, you'll see a link to click or tap, where you'll get access to that. Thanks for watching this, and keep going strong.

Estrogen is a naturally occurring set of hormones responsible for female reproduction and the development of sexual characteristics. Males also produce small amounts of estrogen. The HealthyWomen website notes that estrogen has effects on metabolism, sexual functions and mood. Lower levels of estrogen, such as during menopause, can alter physiological processes and can alter bone density and cause urinary problems. Many women use estrogen replacement to combat these effects.

IT OFTEN OPERATES IN CO ORDINATION WITH NERVOUS SYSTEM. CHARACTERISTICS OF HORMONES : The hormones are secreted in small amounts by the endocrine glands. The hormones are poured directly into the blood and carried throughout the body by blood circulatory system The hormones have their effect at the sites different from the sites where they are made. So, they are also called chemical messengers.. The hormones act on target organs. The hormones coordinate the activities and the growth of the body. The excess or deficiency of hormones has a harmful effect on our body. DIFFERENT ENDOCRINE GLANDS PRESENT IN THE BODY HYPOTHALAMUS GLAND AND PITUITARY GLAND The pituitary gland is a pea-sized gland located in the center of the skull. The pituitary gland acts as a master controlling gland, releasing a number of hormones that activate other glands. Hypothalamus gland is present in the brain. Hypothalamus produces 'releasing hormones' and 'inhibitory hormones'. Hypothalamus controls the pituitary gland. PINEAL GLAND OR THE VESTIGIAL ORGAN The pineal gland which is present in the brain has no such function. Pineal gland is supposed to be a vestigial organ. ( Vestigial organs are those organs which no longer function.) The thyroid gland, located in the neck, secretes the hormone thyroxine. Thyroxine increases body metabolism, in which food is broken down and converted into heat and energy. The parathyroid glands are four small glands located in the neck behind the thyroid gland. These glands secrete a hormone that regulates the body's use of calcium and phosphorus to maintain healthy bones. Parathyroid hormone also affects muscle contraction and the conduction of nerve impulses. Thymus gland lies in the lower part of the neck and upper part of chest. Thymus gland secretes thymus hormone which plays a role in the development of the immune system of the body. The pancreas is a long, narrow gland located in the abdomen behind the stomach and beneath the liver. The pancreas secretes insulin, a hormone that regulates the body's use of sugar The adrenals are two small glands, each located on the top of one kidney. The adrenal glands releases the hormone epinephrine, which speeds up heart rate and increases blood pressure to help the body cope with emergencies. And also releases hormones that control the level of salts and water in the blood and help regulate the use of sugar. It also secretes small amounts of male sex hormones, or androgens, in both males and females. Males have sex glands called testes that secrete androgens, male sex hormones. In addition to contributing to male sexual characteristics, androgens contribute to the production of sperm and the development of the prostate gland. Females have sex glands called ovaries that release hormones called estrogens. These hormones contribute to the development of female sexual characteristics, including skin, hair, and breast development. Estrogens work with certain pituitary hormones to control the menstrual cycle. 8 Serious Diseases Signaled by Our Skin

10:09
Here are the most common skin problems which can appear if there is something wrong inside your body. It is very important to be aware of the signals our skin can give us! Usually, we don't think that much about our health, until there's something wrong with it. A lot of the severe illnesses progress quietly in early stages, so you find out the truth only when you visit a doctor for a regular appointment or, even more horribly, when it becomes way too serious. TIMESTAMPS Dark spots 1:04 White patches 1:53 Rashes 2:57 Edemas 4:05 A great number of new moles and tags 5:12 Acne, blackheads, clogged pores 6:09 Flaking 7:23 Excessive sweating 8:30 SUMMARY - If you noticed dark spots, which all of the sudden popped up on your skin, this could be a symptom of adrenal insufficiency or Addison’s disease. Your adrenal glands do not generate enough steroid hormones. Addison's disease may be caused by various factors, including stress. - Another signal of health problems is white patches that start to appear on your skin. In this case, your skin loses pigmentation, and this disease is called vitiligo. It develops when cells called melanocytes are killed by the body’s immune system, causing the area of skin to turn white because the cells no longer make pigment. - Any sudden rashes on your skin show that there is something wrong with your body. It could be an allergy to food, home chemicals, medical drugs, or even a contagious disease, such as chicken pox. In any case, it is better to turn to a doctor because allergic reactions can lead to serious consequences. One of them is a Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which is a severe skin reaction. - If you have edemas every day, it is worth seeing an endocrinologist because they can be a sign of hypothyroidism. This condition can occur when the thyroid gland fails to produce sufficient quantities of hormones. The following symptoms can accompany this disease: dry skin, face and limb edemas, hair loss, fragile nails, and weight gain. - There are many reasons why moles can appear on the skin. A basic and most common one is heredity. If your parents have big birthmarks, you may also have them. Other reasons can be either excessive ultraviolet exposure or hormone imbalance. In most cases, moles are harmless.  - Pretty much everyone suffered from acne at one point or another. And don't get me started on blackheads, this thing is unavoidable. Today numerous commercials and cosmetic brands show us an unbelievable amount of products that claim to clear your skin from acne and blackheads completely. And people usually trust them buying more and more, without realizing that clogged pores are just the consequence and not the main reason. Of course, it's easier just to wash your face and hope it will all go away instead of going on a strict diet and figure out the main root of your skin problems, but if you want to have a fresh and free-from-acne skin, visiting the doctor is inevitable. - In most cases, flaking is not that big of a deal. It is a temporary condition with an easy treatment. However, when the flaking is intense and accompanied by other symptoms, it can be a sign of a serious disease. The reasons for flaking can be a vitamin deficiency, hormone imbalance or allergic reaction. - If you are inside a well-ventilated space with optimal temperature and you are not nervous, then you shouldn’t be sweating as if running a cross-country race. If you find yourself in such situation constantly, it's time to sound the alarm. The reason for excessive sweating can be the toxic diffuse goiter, or Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. All of us are quite busy and can be a bit scared to go to the doctor with some problems, thinking that maybe they will just go away as suddenly as they appeared. Sometimes this happens, but other times your condition may silently progress. Don't put off visiting a doctor, if you are feeling a certain serious discomfort. If it's nothing much, then great! But if there's something wrong, it's better to find it in the early stages, when it's way easier to treat it. 4 Easy Ways To Optimize Your Body’s #1 Fat Burning Hormone – LEPTIN

04:05
FREE REPORT: The OVER 40 Stubborn Fat Sequence (discover how to burn more belly fat in 12 minutes than an entire hour of low intensity cardio—for people OVER 35): http://gl12.net/ytleptinreport Inside this short fat loss video I'm going to talk about your body's number one master fat burning hormone-- Leptin. And if you're not familiar with Leptin, Leptin is basically a hormone that regulates how many calories your body burns and how much calories your body stores. And what's happening in today's day and age with our lifestyle is there is a Leptin resistance epidemic, similar to insulin resistance. And there's about four or five things I'm going to share with you inside this video that you can use to optimize your Leptin sensitivity. The first thing is is if you're following a low carb diet to lose belly fat five or six days of the week, you must have a cheat day or a cheat meal. Because what ends up happening is after six days of low carb dieting, Leptin levels can plummet by as much as 50%. This slows down your metabolism, it stops your body from burning belly fat, and it negatively impacts other hormones, like your thyroid and your testosterone to estrogen ratio. So having a cheat meal or a cheat day once per week as a reward for being good the other six days of the week will reset Leptin levels and help you with your Leptin sensitivity. The second thing is to reduce inflammation. So the main thing that causes inflammation is inflammatory vegetable oils and processed sugar. So by avoiding high fructose corn syrup, which has been shown to decrease Leptin sensitivity, processed fructose-- this is totally different from the fructose found in fruit, which has vitamins and minerals and fiber in it. Avoid processed fructose, it's one of the main sweeteners. And avoid all sugars and processed foods. And this will help you improve your Leptin sensitivity. The third thing is to control insulin. And the best way to control insulin is to balance your meals. So never eat sugars or certain ripe fruits or starches by themselves. If you want to eat them, that's OK if they're from nature and they're a healthy food. Just make sure you're combining those insulin spiking foods with protein and vegetables, and/or a small amount of friendly fat. This will help you stabilize insulin levels. And when you are in control of your blood sugar and your insulin, your Leptin sensitivity will improve. Now, the fourth thing is there was a study done where they put a group of people on an aerodynamic bike. OK? I think this will work with any machine. And they did specific movement patterns for certain durations and certain intensities. And the group that did a high intensity strategic 30 second exercise boost actually had higher Leptin sensitivity and Leptin signaling post-workout than their group who used low intensity work. Now, somewhere around this video you're going to see a link to click or tap. And I'm going to give you access to my free report called the Over 40 Stubborn Fat Sequence that takes this 30 second trick and implements it into a 12 minute workout to help you reset Leptin signaling. This is specifically designed for people over 35 years old, where Leptin resistance is more common. Remember, after 35 your fat loss hormones decline rapidly. This 12 minute trick is going to teach you how to reactivate those fat burning hormones while resetting Leptin signaling and optimizing your Leptin sensitivity.
