The Antibiotic Nuclear Time Bomb

Antibiotic resistance is a huge problem! Antibiotics are supposed to kill bacteria, but in the end are they going to kill us? Evolution of bacteria with immunity to antibiotics has plenty of causes, but livestock overuse and human overuse of antibiotics lead to many issues for people who actually need the antibacterials. Antibiotic soaps are BAD too!

6 Healing Benefits Of Probiotics | Why Are Probiotics GOOD for You? MOST Recommended Probiotic Foods

08:28
http://HomeRemediesTV.com/Best-Supplements Why Are Probiotics GOOD for You? The MOST Recommended Probiotic RICH Foods. Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of bacteria as something that causes diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Natural & Organic Vitamins & Dietary Supplements: https://bit.ly/2lwR2Mx ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best HAIR Nutrition Supplements: https://bit.ly/2lwNRom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Mens Multivitamin & Supplements: https://bit.ly/2lwTCSS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Women Multivitamin & Supplements: https://bit.ly/2lwYrLT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Probiotics Supplement: https://bit.ly/2lwYGXj ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Eye Multivitamin & Vision Support: https://bit.ly/2lf5d6r ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Memory Supplements & Brain Boost: https://bit.ly/2leYQ2W ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Health Booster Supplements: https://bit.ly/2lx44tL What are probiotics and how do they work? Probiotics are live microorganisms that may be able to help prevent and treat some illnesses. Promoting a healthy digestive tract and a healthy immune system are their most widely studied benefits at this time. These are also commonly known as friendly, good, or healthy bacteria. What is a prebiotic and probiotic? Prebiotics are nondigestible carbohydrates that act as food for probiotics. When probiotics and prebiotics are combined, they form a synbiotic. Fermented dairy products, such as yogurt and kefir, are considered synbiotic because they contain live bacteria and the fuel they need to thrive. Do probiotics have side effects? Probiotics' side effects, if they occur, tend to be mild and digestive (such as gas or bloating). More serious effects have been seen in some people. Probiotics might theoretically cause infections that need to be treated with antibiotics, especially in people with underlying health conditions. Do probiotics help fight infection? Probiotics vs. Antibiotics. Unlike antibiotics, which means “to destroy life,” probiotics literally means “life giving.” In more practical terms, antibiotics destroy without prejudice — killing the bad bacteria that can cause infection, while also destroying the good bacteria that help fight infection. Can you get diarrhea from probiotics? While probiotics are generally well tolerated, including probiotic-rich foods or adding probiotic supplements might infrequently cause side effects. Although diarrhea is not a typical side effect, probiotics can sometimes cause related symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, bloating or gas. Do probiotics make you feel bloated? In the short-term, adding probiotics to your diet may cause gas, flatulence, belching and bloating. If you have irritable bowel syndrome, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or fructose malabsorption, adding probiotics to your diet is likely to worsen your bloating. What is a prebiotic food? The best natural sources of prebiotics include: acacia gum (or gum arabic) raw chicory root. raw Jerusalem artichoke. raw dandelion greens. raw garlic. raw leeks. raw or cooked onions. raw jicama. What is a prebiotic fiber? In short, the prebiotic is a specialized plant fiber that beneficially nourishes the good bacteria already in the large bowel or colon. While probiotics introduce good bacteria into the gut, prebiotics act as a fertilizer for the good bacteria that's already there. What does the lactobacillus do? Lactobacillus is a type of bacteria. There are lots of different species of lactobacillus. These are "friendly" bacteria that normally live in our digestive, urinary, and genital systems without causing disease. Lactobacillus is also in some fermented foods like yogurt and in dietary supplements. What are probiotics used for in adults? Probiotics have been used to treat bowel problems (such as diarrhea, irritable bowel), eczema, vaginal yeast infections, lactose intolerance, and urinary tract infections. Probiotics are available in foods (such as yogurt, milk, juices, soy beverages) and as dietary supplements (capsules, tablets, powders). Do probiotics kill off bad bacteria? Probiotics and fecal transplants can help restore the healthy bacteria that antibiotics can kill off. Antibiotics can save live... 😍😍😍😍😍 Like, Share and Subscribe Our Channel if you think these video is informative and helpful. Raw Milk Won't Help Lactose Intolerance, Study Shows

Crude Milk Won't Help Lactose Intolerance, Study Shows. In spite of FDA notices against drinking unpasteurized, "crude" drain, a few guardians keep on choosing it for their families, refering to various wellbeing claims including that it is a gentler option for lactose narrow minded individuals. Another examination distributed in the Annals of Family Medicine has found, in any case, that no such connection with lactose bigotry exists. More from Time.com: Just a little populace of individuals drink unpasteurized drain, otherwise called "raw" drain, however its expanding fame has some restorative gatherings concerned. Some crude drain advocates contend that it's more beneficial for us since crude drain contains no anti-toxins or hormones, while others say it's better for individuals with lactose hypersensitivities. As far as concerns its, the FDA prompts against drinking crude drain, which can contain microbes from fecal issue and now and again be deadly, and has since quite a while ago expressed that it doesn't help with lactose narrow mindedness. In any case, another investigation distributed in the Annals of Family Medicine is conclusively jabbing openings in the hypersensitivity hypothesis, by announcing that lactose-narrow minded individuals have similar side effects from crude and sanitized drain. Promoters for crude drain guarantee that it contains great microorganisms that can help with lactose assimilation. "When I heard that claim it didn't sound good to me on the grounds that, paying little respect to the microscopic organisms, crude drain and purified drain have a similar measure of lactose in them," said think about creator Christopher Gardner, an educator of prescription at the Stanford Prevention Research Center in an announcement. "However, I loved taking this on since it appeared like a generally direct and liable inquiry in light of the fact that the manifestations of lactose-bigotry are immediate." The examination was little, with just 16 lactose-bigoted members. Each of the 16 attempted three unique sorts of milk– crude, purified, and soy– over various eight-day time spans. For eight days, the members were haphazardly allocated to one of the three milks, and they drank an expanding measure of that drain as the examination time frame went on. They at that point detailed their hypersensitivity side effects, which were normally gas, looseness of the bowels, and cramping, and appraised them on a size of 0 to 10. Their breaths were additionally estimated for hydrogen, which can show undigested lactose in the colon and narrow mindedness. After the initial eight days of drinking one sort of drain, the members took seven days off where they drank no drain, and afterward began up again with an additional eight days of an alternate kind of drain. To veil which kind of drain members were drinking, scientists randomized the request and included sans sugar vanilla syrup. Soy, which doesn't contain lactose, went about as the control. Scientists found no distinctions in the hydrogen breath tests between expending purified or unpasteurized drain. Members additionally appraised their side effect seriousness the same, paying little heed to the sort of drain they drank. Recovering from Antibiotics

05:31
“How to recover from antibiotics.” – What does that mean? If you’ve been treated with a course of antibiotics for a long or a short time, or if you’ve been using food that has antibiotics in it, without you knowing, or if you’ve been misusing antibiotics in any way, you might start to have health problems. You might suffer from certain complaints that will make your life a little bit more difficult. Side Effects of Antibiotics Let me discuss the complaints that you might have from use of antibiotics. The most affected organs would probably be your intestines. That’s because the antibiotics are going to kill the bacterial flora, which is the friendly bacteria in your intestines that is responsible for digestion and making vitamin K, which is important for you. So, you will notice that you’re having trouble in your gut, so, you will start to have bloating, gas, irregular bowel movement, so, you will have constipation, then diarrhea and then bloating again and so on. You might also suffer from heartburn and feeling generally unwell. You might also start to notice bleeding from the gums or from the nose. That’s also related to the lack of vitamin K. You might also suffer from yeast infections, which is a fungal infection that can be anywhere on your body, either on your skin or in your mouth or in the genital area. All that is because your bacteria flora – the friendly bacteria in the gut – has been affected by the antibiotics. So, what we need to do now is correct the level of bacterial flora in your gut. How do we do that? First of, you will need to lead a healthy lifestyle. So, you drink a lot of water. Avoid bad foods. Bad foods are rich in sugar, carbohydrates that are unhealthy, like pasta, packed foods, processed foods – these are all unhealthy foods. Instead of that you should eat vegetables, fruits, grains, healthy fats (that’s vegetable oils mainly). Probiotics and Prebiotics You can also use probiotics. These are very healthy foods that are fermented, so that helps the growth of the good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics are mainly: yogurt, kefir and yeast. If you are suffering from any problems with kefir or yeast, I would suggest that you take it slowly. So you start with very small amounts, like one spoon a day, and then increase it gradually. If you go to the shop and want to buy probiotics, look for the name lactobacillus on it – that’s the good bacteria for you. You can also use foods that are called prebiotics. Prebiotics are foods that help the growth of bacteria, because they don’t get absorbed in the body, they stay for a long time in the intestines. Like, leeks (garlic, onions), honey, bananas, these are all very good foods for your bacteria flora. You can also try fermented fresh vegetables. That means, pickles that are pickled in a healthy way. So, you can try to pickle at home. So, try for example the ginger, to pickle it at home, or maybe cucumbers, also are healthy. But don’t add too much salt. So, pickled vegetables are very good for your gut flora. If you’re a fan of soups you can try bone broth or gelatin soups. You can buy bones from the butcher, and what’s inside – the broth – you can make soups with it, and that’s very good for your gut flora. You can also add onions to it, or any vegetables of your choice. It’s very important to know that your gut flora affects the function of your intestines, and healthy intestines affect the whole body. So it’s very important to replace the gut flora that has been affected by your antibiotic abuse. I wish you all the best! Alyaa Gad

Cats Prefer Their Antibiotics Mixed Into Yogurt

01:14
I've been having to take a lot of medication lately, first because I had an infection, then because I'd just had surgery. Like any sensible cat, I hate having my mouth pried open and things thrown down my throat. Even my veterinarian doesn't get away with that. Fortunately, my humans figured out how to grind up my pills and mix them in with yogurt. I LOVE yogurt! (Lots of cats wind up developing lactose intolerance as they get older, but I never did, probably in part because I kept eating milk, cheese, ice cream and other dairy products regularly enough that my body never stopped being used to digesting them. Even some cats -- and humans -- who are lactose intolerant can still handle yogurt, especially in small quantities.) It's a good idea to eat yogurt while taking antibiotics, for humans as well as cats, so that all the "good" bacteria in our digestive systems, like acidophilus, doesn't get killed off. The yogurt I was served in this video was Stonyfield Farm's peach-flavored YoBaby. Mmm, organic cream-on-top really helps the medicine go down! Om nom nom nom.

Dairy and Milk sugar Lactose and Galactose

06:05
Daniel W. Cramer of Harvard Medical School and his coworkers. Five years ago, Cramer linked galactose consumption with increased risk of ovarian cancer. To look for hints that this sugar might also affect fecundity. His team compared published data from 36 countries on rates of fertility, per capita milk consumption, and hypolactasia -- the adult inability to digest lactose. In the February 1 American Journal of Epidemiology, they now report a correlation between high rates of milk consumption and waning fertility, begining in women just 20 to 24 years old. The strength of that association -- and the rate of fertility decline -- grew with each successively older age grou studied. In Thailand, for instance -- where 98 percent of the adults are hypolactasic -- average fertility in women 35 to 39 is only 26% lower than peak rates (at age 25 to 29). By contrast, in Australia and the United Kingdon, where hypolactasia affects only about 5% of adults, average fertility by 35 to 39 is fully 82% below peak rates. Cataracts: Cataracts are also linked to dairy products. The galactose also appears to damage the lens of the eye, leading to cataracts. Digestive Disease and Science 1982;27;257-64. Lactose Intolerance: Food Allergies: Milk is on the most common food allergies.(ie. migraies and asthma) Toxins: Like other products from animals, breast secretions contain frequent contaminants, from pesticides to drugs. About a third of all milk products are contaminated with antibiotic traces. Milk will produce lower abdominal cramps, gas and watery stools in lactase deficient individuals. MILK THE DEADLY POISON!

05:42
This is a 1998 Hard Copy Special on MILK. What the government doesn't want you to know about milk. Don't drink milk, we know it contains fat and cholesterol but did you know it contains the protein CASEIN (which is basically a glue which leads to a lot of mucous build up and other health problems like asthma and congestion), milk also contains.. powerful growth hormones, viruses, a host of deadly chemical and biological bacterial agents, bovine proteins that cause allergies, insecticides, antibiotics, all this can trigger the growth of cancer and contributes to today's problem of obese children (ever notice why young girls breasts develop faster?). Cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been well documented as a cause in diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia, skin rashes, atherosclerosis, and acne. It is the primary cause of recurrent ear infections in children. It has also been linked to insulin dependent diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, and leukemia. Milk and refined sugar make two of the largest contributions to food induced ill health in our country.

What To Eat During Loose Motion | Home Remedies For Lose Motion And Diarrhea

05:06
How To Cure Loose Motion. Home remedies for loose motion in adults In simple terms, loose motion means you are having watery stools that occur more frequently than usual. It is also known as diarrhea, which most people have experienced. It can be acute or chronic. Please watch this video until the end to know the complete information. This common problem occurs when the food and fluids you ingest start passing too quickly or in too large an amount through the colon. Along with frequent loose, watery stools, you may even have symptoms like abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, a fever, bloating and weakness. Due to having too frequent bowel movements, there may also be itching, burning, soreness or pain in the rectal area. There can be many reasons behind this sudden change in your bowel movements, including a viral infection, bacterial infection, parasitic attack, food poisoning, a side effect of antibiotics and lactose intolerance, to name a few. In most cases, loose motion last a couple of days. However, if it continues for a week or more, it is important to consult a doctor. It can be a sign of a serious digestive disorder. Plus, it can lead to dehydration and weakness, which is not good for your overall health. To reduce the frequency of loose motion and bring your bowel movements to regularity, there are many simple and easy home remedies. 1. Yogurt. Yogurt is a good source of probiotics-strains of bacteria that are similar to the healthy bacteria normally found in your digestive system. These bacteria help restore the good bacteria in your gut. This in turn helps fight the diarrhea-causing germs in your digestive tract. A 2010 study published in Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews states that, when used alongside rehydration therapy, probiotics have beneficial effects in shortening the duration and reducing stool frequency in acute infectious diarrhea. When it comes to probiotics for diarrhea, yogurt is the best option. It promotes a healthy environment of microorganisms in the digestive tract for better digestion. Eat 2 to 3 cups of yogurt a day when suffering from loose motion. 2. Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is a great remedy to stop loose motion. This natural antibiotic helps cure diarrhea by killing the diarrhea-causing organisms in the intestine. Its high pectin content soothes the irritated lining of the colon. Plus, it helps maintain proper pH level in the stomach, which in turn helps restore regularity. Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a glass of lukewarm water. Add a little honey and stir. Drink it 2 or 3 times a day until your condition improves. 3. Bananas. Both raw and ripe bananas can help treat diarrhea due to their pectin content. This water-soluble fiber helps absorb fluids in the intestines, which in turn helps add bulk to the stool. Being high in potassium, it even helps replace electrolytes that may be lost during diarrhea. A 2001 study published in Gastroenterology found that the pectin in green bananas is useful in the dietary management of persistent diarrhea. It can reduce the amount of stool, frequency of vomiting and duration of diarrhea, as well as reduce the need for oral rehydration solutions or intravenous fluids. Another 2012 study published in the Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry also confirms that intake of bananas is beneficial for people suffering from diarrhea. When dealing with loose motions, eat a ripe banana every few hours. You can even have ripe banana and yogurt smoothies, 2 or 3 times a day. 4. Stay Hydrated When suffering from loose motions, there is a high chance of becoming severely dehydrated. Hence, it is important to take necessary steps to stay hydrated, as even minor dehydration can worsen your condition. Sip boiled or filtered water throughout the day. If going out, do not forget to carry your own water bottle. Coconut water also helps keep you hydrated when experiencing loose motion. Drinking 2 to 3 cups of green tea is also beneficial. You can also drink pulp-free juices, clear chicken broths and caffeine free soda. Electrolyte powder mixed in water is another good option. Thanks for watching. Please like, comment, subscribe and share my videos with your friends and family. I am amy. And i will see you all in my next video.

Alyaa Gad - Irritable Bowel Syndrome

08:57
Alyaa Gad - Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic disorder that affects the large intestine (colon). Spastic colon is another term for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), The term "spastic" describes spasms of muscles in the small and large intestines. But this term spastic colon isn't always accurate, because IBS may also be associated with decreased motility/movement of the intestine. The symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome vary from person to person. The most common symptoms are: Abdominal pain or cramping Feeling bloated Gas Diarrhea or constipation Mucus in the stool For most people, IBS is a chronic condition. The symptoms might get better or worse or even disappear completely over time. But there are symptoms that may indicate a more serious condition, such as: Rectal bleeding Abdominal pain that progresses or occurs at night Weight loss Diarrhea and constipation can aggravate hemorrhoids. Also, when you avoid certain foods, you may not get enough of the nutrients your body needs. IBS may negatively affect your quality of life, leading to discouragement or depression. Diagnosis Because there are usually no physical signs to definitively diagnose IBS, your doctor will diagnose it by ruling out other conditions. If you don't respond to that treatment, you'll likely require more tests. So, be ready for a lengthy process of diagnostic tests sometimes, like: Imaging tests: and Laboratory tests: Treatments and drugs Because it's not clear what causes irritable bowel syndrome, treatment focuses on the relief of symptoms so that you can live as normally as possible. In most cases, you can successfully control mild problems of irritable bowel syndrome by learning to manage stress and making changes in your diet and lifestyle. If your problems are moderate or severe, you may need more than lifestyle changes. Your doctor may suggest medications. Dietary changes: Eliminating high-gas foods. items as carbonated beverages, vegetables — especially cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower — and raw fruits, should be avoided. Eliminating gluten. Research shows that some people with IBS report improvement in diarrhea symptoms if they stop eating gluten (wheat, barley and rye). Eliminating FODMAPs. Some people are sensitive to types of carbohydrates found in certain grains, vegetables, fruits and dairy products. You may be able to get relief from your IBS symptoms on a strict low FODMAP diet and then reintroduce foods one at time. Talk to your dietitian about it. Fiber supplements. Anti-diarrheal medications. Antidepressants. Antibiotics. & Counseling. Lifestyle and home remedies simple changes in your diet and lifestyle can provide relief from irritable bowel syndrome. Although your body may not respond immediately to these changes, your goal is to find long-term, not temporary, solutions: 1- Chew very well on your food. Take the time to chew your food into smaller and smaller pieces until it's essentially a liquid before swallowing. The interaction that your saliva has with your food is very important for the digestion process. It will make 2- Experiment with fiber. Although it helps reduce constipation, it can also make gas and cramping worse. So, the best approach is to slowly increase the amount of fiber in your diet over a period of weeks. Foods that contain fiber are whole grains, fruits, vegetables and beans. 3- Avoid problem foods. Keep a food diary, find out what upsets your colon, and eliminate it from your diet. If certain foods make your signs and symptoms worse, don't eat them. These may include alcohol, chocolate, caffeinated beverages such as coffee and sodas, medications that contain caffeine, dairy products, red meat, and sugar-free sweeteners such as sorbitol or mannitol. If gas is a problem for you, foods that might make symptoms worse include beans, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. Fatty foods also may be a problem for some people. Chewing gum or drinking through a straw can lead to swallowing air, causing more gas. Take care with dairy products. If you're lactose intolerant, try substituting yogurt for milk. Or use an enzyme product to help break down lactose. Consuming small amounts of milk products or combining them with other foods also may help. In some cases, though, you may need to stop eating dairy foods completely. In this case, make sure to get enough protein, calcium and B vitamins from other sources. Herbs. Fresh Peppermint and peppermint may provide short-term relief of IBS symptoms. Probiotics. Probiotics are "good" bacteria that normally live in your intestines and are found in certain foods, such as yogurt, and in dietary supplements. If you have irritable bowel syndrome, you may not have enough good bacteria. Adding probiotics to your diet may help ease your symptoms. Milk Contains Dangerous Antibiotics and Steroids | పాలు ఇంత ప్రమాదమా ?

A glass of cold, fresh milk is an inviting wholesome image seen daily in the media. This marketing image belies the fact that modern milk production is a cornerstone of processed food production. Unless you purchase organic milk, the milk you buy in the supermarket or at the corner grocer is no longer “natural,” but undergoes a host of processes including pasteurization and homogenization. The resulting product is a pale image of its former self, its digestibility and nutritional value having been compromised, often contributing to human ailments ranging from lactose intolerance and heart disease to life-threatening allergies. What follows are some problems brought about by conventional dairy processing. ఈ వీడియో మీకు నచ్చితే తప్పకుండా షేర్ చేయండి .. Antibiotics aren't a cure all!

05:20
pic I mentioned! http://www.damnlol.com/meanwhile-at-the-doctors-office-43514.html Seriously, stop using antibiotics for everything. One they do nothing against viruses, only bacterial infections. Secondly they kill the GOOD bacteria in your body necessary for digestion (hence PRObiotics being advertised in yogurt commercials) and thirdly over using them create super bugs that are immune to antibiotics! Getting sick sucks, but it's just something we all have to live with.

Is Cheese Healthy? - Part 3 Dairy

10:44
Is Cheese Healthy? Americans especially are eating far too much cheese but more importantly the wrong kinds of cheese and as a result of this, amongst other toxic processed foods, diabetes and obesity along with disease & illnesses are a dilemma here and this is part of the problem. -------------------- Visit Bill Farr on 🌺 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theartofunity/ 🌺 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theartofunity 🌺 Twitter https://twitter.com/BillyFarr 🌺 Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/TheArtofUnity/ 🌺 Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Theartofunity 💜 SUBSCRIBE on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/c/theartofunity?sub_confirmation=1 -------------------- Listen to your body There is not a definitive yes or no because although some cheeses have been shown to have a lot of nutrients many people have allergies and don’t even know it and most cheese is low quality and terrible for you so if I have to give an answer I will tell you that I don’t eat it and for most people I do not suggest it. You have to go out of your way to buy raw organic cheese and it’s expensive, around $30 a pound and up, so if you are not sure if your cheese is high quality, organic, or raw, then it’s not. Organic The reason you should always buy cheese organic is that fat carries the largest doses of the hormones and antibiotics that are used in non-organic livestock. Organic grass-fed cheese is free of antibiotics and growth hormones. And Non-organic most often has gmo’s in it. Rennet An ingredient in cheese called Rennet is an enzyme used to turn milk into curd for cheese making. There are two types of rennet that are commonly used. 1. Is animal rennet which is traditionally used and it’s taken from calfs, yes baby cows since you can’t get this from adult cows, so if you wouldn’t eat veal because of the abuse of animals such as taking away baby cows from their mother and killing them, or you are vegetarian, than don’t eat cheese. But most cheese especially in the US from: 2. Vegetable or fermented rennet. Most vegetable and all fermented or FPC rennet is genetically modified or GMO this is illegal in cheeses sold in Europe, but is legal in the US. If you want to avoid the abuse of animal situation, then avoid it all together or else look for organic cheese from vegetable rennet. Food Combining Another a big cause of stomach issues having to do with cheese is poor food combining. Mixing cheese with meat or cheese with starch like pasta is bad food combining since meat, dairy and starch are digested in different areas of the body with different enzymes so this can cause gas, bloating acid reflux and other digestive problems leading to sickness or disease. That means avoiding cheeseburgers, meat sauce with cheese, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, pizza but for more on this see my blog on food combining. Cheeses to especially avoid: 90% of standard grocery store cheeses are made from the milk of CAFO cows or factory farms, which are terrible for the cow, for us, and the environment. - Avoid American Cheese – not cheese but a “cheese food” since it is not 100% cheese. It has food colorings and other unhealthy ingredients like yellow 6 and tartrazine. See more in the blog Allergy Warnings Those with an actual milk allergy must strictly avoid dairy in any form, including cheese. Symptoms of a milk allergy can include asthma, eczema, gastrointestinal distress, as well as bleeding, pneumonia, and even anaphylaxis (shock). Different from both allergies and lactose intolerance, some people have a sensitivity to the casein (a type of protein) in milk. This sensitivity can trigger inflammation throughout the body, which may produce symptoms such as sinus congestion, acne flares, skin rash and migraines. ☀️ Official Website: https://theartofunity.com/ 💜Meditations - https://theartofunity.com/meditations/ 💜Chi Gong - https://theartofunity.com/chigong/ Videos on #spirituality, #consciousness, #meditation, #mindfulness, #health and much more. 5 Types Of Bad Breath—And What They Say About Your Health

03:08
5 Types Of Bad Breath—And What They Say About Your Health Chances are, you already know the basics when it comes to keeping your breath minty-fresh. You brush, floss, and maybe do a quick rinse with mouthwash a few times a day. You wouldn't dream of ordering garlic bread on a first date, and you always pop a stick of sugar-free gum shortly after downing your morning coffee. But let's say you do all those things, yet your breath still stinks. That's the case more often than you might think, as poor oral hygiene is not the most common cause of bad breath. Most chronic bad breath is actually due to dry mouth: When you don't have enough moisture, the bacteria that live in your mouth thrive. When you sleep at night there's little or no saliva production. That's what causes dryness and morning breath. If morning breath is your only issue, you don't really have a problem. But many people have dry mouth that lingers all day, often thanks to a medication they're taking. Seventy-five percent of prescription drugs, including antidepressants, antihistamines, and blood pressure drugs, have dry mouth as a side effect. So if you find people frequently backing away when you're talking, ask your doc if your meds might be to blame. If so, sipping more water, chewing sugarless gum, or maybe switching to a different drug could help. In other instances, chronic bad breath could signal that something is amiss elsewhere in your body. And—believe it or not—the specific scent may provide clues that can help your doctor or dentist figure out what's wrong. If your breath smells like mothballs... You might have allergies, post-nasal drip, or a sinus infection. When you have chronic sinus issues, the bacteria in your mouth can convert the proteins in mucus into a compound called skatole. Taking allergy medication, rinsing your sinuses with a neti pot, or starting antibiotics should help. If your breath smells fruity... You might have diabetes. Sugar in your bloodstream normally heads into your cells, where it's used for energy. If that doesn't happen, blood sugar rises, and your cells start burning fat for energy. The byproduct of that process is ketones, which can make your breath smell fruity. If your breath smells like sour milk... You might be lactose intolerant. This odor might indicate that you're not breaking down the protein in dairy proteins properly. Of course, you'll also likely have other symptoms, such as diarrhea, cramps, and gas after indulging in milk products. If your breath smells like a dirty diaper... You might have a tonsil stone. Bacteria and debris can get stuck in your tonsils and form a visible "stone" in the crevices. It's really rotten, like a dirty diaper, your primary care doctor can probably remove the offending particle with a swab or forceps. If your breath smells like something's rotting... You might have a lung disease. A very foul odor—"much worse than traditional bad breath"—could be a sign of a lung problem ranging from an infection to cancer. Interestingly, breath tests designed to identify the odors associated with cancer are currently in the works. If you suspect you might have any problem with your lungs, see your doctor for an exam. After listening with a stethoscope, she might refer you for blood work, a chest x-ray, or other tests.

6 Steps to Heal Leaky Gut and Autoimmune Disease Naturally

05:47
Leaky gut syndrome is a condition that millions of people have, and don’t even know it. From the sound of it, you might think leaky gut syndrome only hurts the digestive system, but it can lead to many other health conditions. Think of the lining of your digestive tract like a net with very small holes in it that only lets some things pass through. Your gut lining works as a wall to keep out the bigger pieces that can harm your system. When someone has leaky gut, the “net” in the digestive tract gets damaged, which causes bigger holes to form in the net, so things that usually can’t pass through are now able to. Some of the things that can now pass through are proteins like gluten, bad bacteria, and undigested food pieces. Toxic waste can also leak from the inside of your intestinal wall into your bloodstream, causing an immune reaction. This leads to swelling throughout your system and causes things like: Bloating Food sensitivities Thyroid conditions Fatigue Joint pain Headaches Skin issues Digestive problems Weight gain Syndrome X If left unfixed, it can lead to worse health problems like inflammatory bowel disease (IBS), arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, migraine headaches, muscle pain, and chronic fatigue. Leaky gut syndrome has been linked to other psychological disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. So, in many cases, if you can heal the gut, you can heal the brain. Studies show that the cause of your food allergies, low energy, joint pain, thyroid disease, autoimmune conditions, and slow metabolism could be leaky gut symptom spreading through your body. Another problem with leaky gut is that it can stop important minerals and nutrients, like zinc, iron, and vitamin B12, from being taken in. There are four main causes of leaky gut, including: 1. Poor Diet Foods that have a lot of lectins are a bigger problem. Some of the lectins and foods that cause leaky gut are wheat, rice, spelt, and soy. While you are trying to cure leaky gut, stay away from all grains, especially those that contain gluten like wheat. Cow’s milk is another food that can cause leaky gut. The component of dairy that will harm your gut is the protein A1 casein. Also, the pasteurization process will kill important enzymes, making sugars like lactose very hard to digest. Sugar is another thing that can harm your digestive system. Sugar will feed the growth of yeast, candida, and bad bacteria, which will hurt your gut even more. 2. Chronic Stress Stress weakens your immune system over time, which ruins the body’s power to fight bad bacteria and viruses. This leads to swelling and leaky gut. To lessen stress, it’s a good idea to get more sleep, add fun into your week, and practice meditation. 3. Toxins We meet up with over 80,000 chemicals and toxins every single year, but the ones that cause leaky gut are antibiotics, pesticides, tap water, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory drugs. 4. Dysbiosis One of the main causes of leaky gut is a condition called dysbiosis, which means uneven levels of good and bad bacteria in your gut. Using too much prescription antibiotic drugs, tap water with chlorine and fluoride, and the lack of probiotic- rich foods adds to the unevenness of good and bad bacteria. If you have leaky gut syndrome, you should think of trying a leaky gut diet. Here are six foods and supplements to heal your leaky gut. #1 Bone Broth #2 Raw Cultured Dairy #3 Fermented Vegetables #4 Coconut Products #5 Sprouted Seeds #6 Supplements If you like the video, give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends! Is Dairy Really Good For You? | #AskWardee 077

Is Dairy Really Good For You? | #AskWardee 077 | Transcript at http://TradCookSchool.com/aw077 | FREE Thick Raw Milk Yogurt Recipe http://TradCookSchool.com/freeyogurt It’s frustrating… One person says milk and dairy products are good for you, others say to eat only raw dairy, and still others say to avoid dairy completely. Who do you believe? Who do you follow? You might already know that I’m in the middle camp (consume only raw dairy)… However, I am 100% in favor of doing what’s best for your body. I’m not going to throw dairy under the bus with a blanket statement that it’s all bad, yet I do think it’s possible that some people should avoid it for health reasons. **The Question Stephanie L. asks: "I keep going back and forth on dairy, having read The Untold Story of Milk by Ron Schmid a few years ago. I know that raw milk is good for you, but so many of the health summits I’ve listened to online the past couple years repeatedly state for optimal health, “get off sugar, gluten, dairy, etc…” Can dairy truly benefit us? My husband is lactose intolerant which weighs in, too. Having read a little from the Fermentation purchase I made last year, maybe we could overcome that." ** My Answer: Yes, Raw Dairy Is Good For You*! Those health researchers are mostly speaking to the general public who are consuming conventional dairy. Ok, yes, maybe in some cases, they’re speaking to an audience that is consuming raw dairy (or fermented raw dairy like yogurt or kefir). Unfortunately, they don’t qualify their statements as whether they’re referring to conventional or artisan dairy. So, I take their recommendations with a grain of salt. Because… if they are talking about conventional dairy, they’re absolutely right. Conventional dairy should be avoided as much as possible. It’s no longer a real food! The animals are raised in abhorrent, sick conditions; the milk is often laced with pesticides, GMOs, antibiotics, and hormones. Then, it’s pasteurized and/or homogenized. This destroys enzymes, probiotics, and vitamins — it’s totally denatured. On the other hand, raw dairy — especially pasture-raised raw dairy — is abundant with probiotics and enzymes. The notable enzyme is lactase, which is essential for digesting the milk sugar (lactose). Pasture-raised dairy, from animals that are healthfully feasting on rapidly growing green grass, is also rich with healthy saturated fats, Omega-3s, and the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and K2. **When Should Raw Dairy Be Avoided? Although I’m not a doctor and can’t give medical advice, I know of some situations where people are advised to avoid dairy (even raw) for good reasons. Perhaps the individual is trying to heal the gut… Lactose (milk sugar) feeds undesirable organisms and therefore should be avoided completely. Fermented raw dairy, however, with lactose reduced 100% — such as 24-hour yogurt or kefir — might be fine to introduce! Be sure to follow the recommendations of your natural physician or healing protocol. Casein (milk protein) can be hard to digest for someone with compromised digestion. Therefore, to heal and reduce irritation, that person avoids milk and dairy. Children with autism often do better when their parents eliminate food allergens in the diet such as milk protein and/or milk sugar. People with health conditions that involve insulin sensitivity, like diabetes or PCOS, often need to scale back or eliminate the actual milk in favor of long-fermented dairy with lactose reduction. Someone who is simply allergic to casein or lactose (or other components of milk) will feel better not eating dairy — raw or otherwise. Finally, there is a genetic defect which affects the protein in the milk of conventional cows such as Holsteins. While heritage cows are not always free from this defect, many are. Holstein cows’ milk protein is called A1, and heritage cows’ milk protein is called A2. Some people cannot consume A1 milk, but they can consume A2 milk. **What About Lactose Intolerance? Often, lactose-intolerant individuals are able to consume raw dairy because it “comes with” lactase, the enzyme required to digest it. This lactase is destroyed during pasteurization, yet abundant in raw milk. Or, if this person still has trouble with even raw milk, they could add these lactase drops to raw milk. Lactose can be naturally reduced through culturing — especially by making raw milk yogurt that ferments for at least 24 hours. What is Diarrhoea? Causes, Signs and Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment.

03:38
Diarrhea, also spelled diarrhoea, is the condition of having at least three loose or liquid bowel movements each day. It often lasts for a few days and can result in dehydration due to fluid loss. Signs of dehydration often begin with loss of the normal stretchiness of the skin and irritable behaviour. This can progress to decreased urination, loss of skin color, a fast heart rate, and a decrease in responsiveness as it becomes more severe. Loose but non-watery stools in babies who are exclusively breastfed, however, are normal. The most common cause is an infection of the intestines due to either a virus, bacteria, or parasite – a condition also known as gastroenteritis.[2] These infections are often acquired from food or water that has been contaminated by feces, or directly from another person who is infected. The three types of diarrhea are: short duration watery diarrhea, short duration bloody diarrhea, and persistent diarrhea (lasting more than two weeks). The short duration watery diarrhea may be due to an infection by cholera, although this is rare in the developed world. If blood is present it is also known as dysentery. A number of non-infectious causes can result in diarrhea. These include lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, hyperthyroidism, bile acid diarrhea, and a number of medications. In most cases, stool cultures to confirm the exact cause are not required.

Giardiasis - Dr Krithi Vidyasagar

05:57
Giardiasis - Intestinal Infection by a Parasite What is Giardiasis? Giardiasis is an intestinal infection that is caused by a parasite known as Giardia Lamblia or Giardia Intestinalis. This is an infection that is found worldwide especially in developing countries where poor sanitation and contaminated water sources are prevalent issues. Now it can affect people of all age groups, but is seen more commonly in children. How infection occurs? How does this infection occur? Now, the parasite exists in two forms, what we call the trophozoites and the cysts. The cysts are infectious forms as they have a protective shell and when they are shed in the stools of an infected individual or animal., they can survive for a long period of time out of the body in soil, water and food. The trophozoites are released from the cysts upon ingestion where they invade the intestine and produce the symptoms of giardiasis. Considering their ability to survive out of the body, they can be spread by water contamination, food contamination and person to person transmission. Transmission via water and food Now, the transmission via water can happen when the sources of water contaminated by the feces of infected people or animals can be lakes and streams where campers and hikers may consume it, municipal water supply, which is inadequately sanitized or contaminated with sewage, swimming pools and recreational water parks where there is accidental adulteration by people with diarrhea or babies in diapers, some well water in rural and lower socioeconomic areas which are improperly stored and untreated. Now, in the transmitted via food - when there is consumption of improperly cooked food, which may not destroy the parasite if present, ready to eat raw food which is washed with contaminated water or if the food is handled by an infected person especially with improperly washed hands. Person-person transmission In the transmitted from person to person, when an infected individual does not wash his/her hands thoroughly after toilet use then they can leave behind the cyst on the surfaces of things or in food that they handle henceforth putting the other people around them at risk of picking up the infection. Now, the individuals or groups at risk of getting this infection include - caregivers changing diapers of infected individuals, child care setting and family members of an infected person. Symptoms In terms of symptoms, some people infected with this parasite may have no symptoms and the infection can resolve on its own. Other may show some of the following symptoms anywhere between 1-4 weeks after ingestion of the cysts. The symptoms include - stools can be bulky, greasy, frothy and foul smelling, there can be episodes of watery diarrhea with abdominal pain, there can be abdominal distension and gaseousness, there can be loss of appetite, there can also be lactose intolerance and malabsorption which can lead to weight loss, anemia and failure to thrive. Diagnosis Diagnosis can be made by examining the stool sample, preferably a fresh sample, for ova and parasite, but it may be difficult to pick up in a single sample, and hence your doctor may advise you to give 3 samples in 3 different days. If your child has symptoms of giardiasis and it is not evident on stool test, then further investigations may be recommended like an endoscopy. Treatment Your doctor may prescribe an antibiotic for symptomatic patients and for those who are not symptomatic but are at risk for transmission like day care workers, food handlers etc. Depending on the type of antibiotic or antiparisitic prescribed, it may be taken either as a single dose or for 5-7 days. Now, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance should be corrected using measures as we have mentioned in the topic of “gastroenteritis and dehydration”. Your body needs these bacteria to keep your digestive system healthy and efficient. Eating probiotic foods helps restore the natural balance of your gut bacteria and treat digestive problems ranging from constipation to diarrhea. They may also help reduce abdominal bloating and flatulence caused by irritable bowel syndrome and symptoms associated with lactose intolerance. Moreover, probiotics are useful when taking antibiotics, which tend to kill both good and bad bacteria indiscriminately, thus reducing the amount of good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics are beneficial for your immune system as well, because they help maintain immune system activity. Some probiotics also help prevent allergies and eczema. Studies suggest that probiotic dietary interventions can help alter mood, anxiety, stress and pain sensitivity. A 2014 study published in the British Journal of Nutrition found that probiotics can also help you lose weight. Previous studies had already found that the intestinal flora of those who are obese is different from that of people who are lean and thin.
