Cymbalta Withdrawal Side Effects

04:26
When you’re struggling with depression…it’s hard. It’s hard to do just about anything. People who don’t understand will say, “Just exercise,” or, “Be positive.” They don’t get it. A lot of TV ads say, “Here’s a drug to fix your depression.” Your doctor says the medication will work wonders. So you take their word. And you know what -- sometimes it really does help you feel a lot better. You might have more energy. More motivation to do the things you love. To be with the people you want to be with. But as time goes by…maybe you suffer side effects. Maybe you just don’t think the pill is necessary. Whatever the reason is…you decide to stop taking the drug. No problem, right? But there is a problem. Antidepressants like Cymbalta carry a warning that reads: “Never stop an antidepressant medicine without first talking to a healthcare provider. Stopping an antidepressant medicine suddenly can cause other symptoms.” But the warning doesn’t explain - what kinds of symptoms - how severe they might be - how to taper the dose - or what a patient should do if depression or other symptoms recur. Is it really that dangerous to stop taking Cymbalta? Just ask the thousands who suffer withdrawal symptoms. Drug manufacturer Eli Lilly ran multiple clinical trials on Cymbalta prior to releasing the drug on the market. They found that roughly 44% of patients experience severe withdrawal symptoms. In a strangely worded label, they stated that “more than 1%” of patients experience severe withdrawal symptoms. A gross understatement. In another trial of more than 1,200 users, approximately 51% of patients experienced withdrawal symptoms. Dr. Joseph Glenmullen, Harvard clinical instructor in psychiatry and author of The Antidepressant Solution, points out that the actual risk is more likely to fall in the range of 66% to 78%, given the drug’s half-life. When a person takes an antidepressant, the body develops a certain dependence on it over time. Then, when the person stops taking the drug, the body reacts because it misses the chemicals in the drug. Half-life refers to the time the body takes to reduce the drug’s presence by half. Cymbalta’s half-life is extremely short -- about 12 hours. When a user stops taking Cymbalta, the sudden absence of the chemicals can result in immediate -- and often severe -- withdrawal symptoms. Share this video with your friends and family to raise awareness of the dangers of discontinuing use of Cymbalta. Millions of Americans take antidepressants. Please warn your loved ones of the serious withdrawal side effects. Share this video today to spread an awareness of the consequences of Cymbalta’s half-life. Pregabalin (Lyrica): What You Need To Know

19:28
Pregabalin (Lyrica) is a medication in the gabapentinoid class. It has anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, and analgesic properties. As such, it's used for epilepsy, neuropathic pain, anxiety, and other conditions. Despite being a GABA derivative, it doesn't appear to be operating through a GABA-related mechanism. The substance is also used recreationally due to its euphoric, anxiolytic, and pro-social effects. Pristiq & Xanax: How I Feel 2 Weeks Into Meds

I am taking Pristiq (DESVENLAFAXINE) 50mg for depression, and Xanax (ALPRAZOLAM) 0.5mg for anxiety and panic attacks. It's only been slightly over 2 weeks, and in this video I talk about some side effects I'm feeling. I also mention Ativan and how that made me feel, as I recently switched off it. Pristiq is an SNRI rather than the usual SSRI, meaning it affects the reuptake of both serotonin AND norepinephrine as opposed to just serotonin.

Overpill. When Big Pharma exploits mental health

49:59
More films about America: https://rtd.rt.com/tags/usa/ The US has a highly developed pharmaceutical industry offering treatments for all kinds of mental disorders. Millions of Americans are being medicated for ailments as diverse as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and many others. Even young children are being put on psychiatric drugs. If parents decline such treatment, social services may intervene. Many patients, who’ve been taking these pills for years, insist that they do more harm than good. They have experienced disturbing side effects such as suicidal thoughts, addiction and even neurological damage. A lot of patients were put on their medication as children and by the time they were legally old enough to decide for themselves, they had already become addicted. They testify that breaking their dependency on the drugs is extremely difficult because, like any habit forming narcotic, they cause severe withdrawal symptoms. RTD meets some of the sufferers to hear their stories of battling to shake off prescribed medicines. Father of 5, Josh, was given anxiety medication, it caused Akathisia and Dystonia. Both are physical disorders causing involuntary and uncontrolled body movement and have left him disabled. Olivia’s son was prescribed psychiatric drugs to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD). Olivia soon noticed side effects and refused to continue giving him the pills. He was taken by social services and hospitalised. Denis from Russia used to work for a pharmaceutical company in the US but after meeting his wife, who had suffered from the side effects of antidepressants for most of her life, he started questioning the necessity for such widespread psychiatric prescribing. Their claims are supported by lawyers and medical professionals. Psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin is a vocal critic of psychiatric medication. He is adamant that the drugs are toxic and that many problems people talk to physiatrists about can be treated without resorting to drugs. His book on how to stop taking psychiatric medicines has helped thousands of patients who have struggled with the challenge. RTD meets a few of them. Antidepressants cause 15X more suicides than FDA claims, Peter Gotzsche, MD

00:55
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Antidepressants cause 15 times more suicides than the FDA claims says Prof. Peter Gotzsche, MD “Under-reporting of deaths in [drug] industry funded trials [of antidepressants] is another major flaw. Based on some of the randomised trials that were included in a meta-analysis of 100,000 patients by the US Food and Drug Administration, I have estimated that there are likely to have been 15 times more suicides among people taking antidepressants than reported by the FDA,” writes Prof. Peter Gøtzsche, MD. Dr. Gøtzsche continues by saying, “[F]or example, there were 14 suicides in 9956 patients in trials with fluoxetine [Prozac] and paroxetine [Paxil] [or roughly 14 suicides per 10,000 people taking these drugs], whereas the FDA had only five suicides in 52,960 patients [or roughly one (1) suicide per 10,000], partly because the FDA only included events up to 24 hours after patients stopped taking the drug. [If you calculate it out, it is really 14.9 times as many suicides as what the FDA claims, or rounded off to 15 times as Dr. Gøtzsche says. ] About Dr. Gøtzsche Dr. Gøtzsche is the author of several wonderful books including Deadly Psychiatry and Organised Denial in which he talks about the problems with psychiatric drugs. He is also author of the wonderful book Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime: How Big Pharma Has Corrupted Healthcare. 200 prescription drugs increase depression

The EXTREME danger of Benzodiazepines. VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

15:02
In this video I am describing the extremely DANGEROUS and life threatening addiction that can result from taking Benzodiazepine Drugs. Benzodiazepines are a class(A category) of drugs. Yes, Drugs are categorized. You may have heard of antihistamines(Allergy Medicines), Barbituates, Narcotics, Amphetamines, SSRI's(Antidepressants, Eg. Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, Celexa, Effexor, Cymbalta, etc etc) NSAIDS(Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug AKA Pain Releivers. Eg. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc etc). All of these "classes" or categories have drugs under them that have the same purpose and work through pretty much the same methods in your brain and body. Benzodiazepines are a class of drugs that are used for the purposes of Anxiety relief, Preventing Seizures, Muscle Relaxation, And Insomnia Releif. If you are a person with any of these problems, There is a good chance that eventually a doctor or psychiatrist will try to prescribe you a benzodiazepine. However, They will most likely not inform you of the DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING withdrawal symptoms that can result from coming off of them once your body has adapted to having them for awhile. I will make more videos going even MORE indepth about this later on. Because there is A lot to explain. Until then, you can leave comments if you have any questions. And I will also keep updating this description with more information. Here is a list of most of the benzodiazepine drugs. I suggest staying away from them unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. And if you do decide to take one. Don't get to used to the nice relief it is going to give because you have to get off of it after 2 weeks or you can start becoming addicted. BENZODIAZEPINE DRUG LIST ------------------------------------------------ Alprazolam Xanax, Xanor, Kalma, Tafil, Alprox, Frontal(Brazil) Bromazepam Lexotanil, Lexotan, Lexomil, Somalium, Bromam Chlordiazepoxide Librium, Tropium, Risolid, Klopoxid Cinolazepam Gerodorm Clobazam Frisium Clonazepam Klonopin, Klonapin, Rivotril Cloxazolam Olcadil (Brazil) Clorazepate Tranxene Diazepam Valium, Apzepam, Stesolid, Vival, Apozepam, Hexalid, Valaxona, Ducene, Antenex Estazolam ProSom . Zoloft Compensation|★Best Zoloft Lawyer★|Zoloft Lawsuit Info Go Here ➽➽ http://zoloftattorneys.net Did you take Zoloft, also known generically as Lustral or Sertraline Hydrochloride during pregnancy? Do you believe that you or your baby were effected as a consequence? It is important to know that you are not alone. There are a large group of mothers and family members who are preparing lawsuits against the Pharmaceutical company Pfizer, the maker of this Anti Depressant. During the 1990s, concerns emerged that the drug led to increased thoughts of suicide and violent behavior. Pfizer faced lawsuits over increased suicide risks. Use of the prescription drug became an issue in a high-profile murder case involving a South Carolina teen. In 1999, a Zoloft lawsuit gained media attention when a Zoloft user, Brynn Hartman killed her husband, comedian Phil Hartman, and then killed herself. The lawsuit on behalf of Mr. Hartman's estate alleged that Mrs. Hartman's Zoloft use caused her to engage in violent behavior and take her husband's life. The lawsuit alleged Pfizer did not adequately warn Mrs. Hartman of Zoloft's side effects. Pfizer settled the lawsuit with the estate for an undisclosed amount. Zoloft Compensation|Best Zoloft Lawyer|Zoloft Lawsuit Info Hundreds Zoloft birth defect lawsuits have been filed, and the numbers keep growing. In June 2012, 38 Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit claiming the SSRI antidepressant Zoloft caused birth defects in their newborns. Their lawsuit alleges that Pfizer, the drug's manufacturer, failed to properly warn consumers and medical professionals about Zoloft's potential harm on developing fetuses. The Plaintiffs further accuse Pfizer of actually marketing Zoloft to pregnant women, ignoring evidence of congenital abnormalities demonstrated in clinical trials. The initial warning concerning Zoloft and its link to birth defects was issued in 2006 by the FDA. This made potential consumers and the medical community aware of the dangers and elevated risk of high blood pressure in infants of mothers who used Zoloft while pregnant. The expansion of the Zoloft lawsuit MDL regarding Zoloft birth defects continues. It was created in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in April 2012. To date, there are approximately 250 Zoloft birth defect lawsuits pending in the MDL, all of which were brought on behalf of children who were born with severe congenital abnormalities after their mothers took Zoloft during pregnancy. This warning raised concern about using Zoloft and other antidepressants and these possible pregnancy side effects. At that time, advocacy groups began to urge those with children suffering from Zoloft birth defects to find a Zoloft lawsuit attorney with experience in Zoloft birth defects lawsuits for sound and helpful advice. Concern continued to increase after more studies have been done about the link between SSRI antidepressants like Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro and Prozac and birth defects. It was noted in 2010 in the American Journal of Nursing that it is highly likely that the child of a mother using Zoloft or other antidepressants will suffer from very dangerous and potentially fatal heart defects. There are many other injuries that are associated with the drug. Mirtazapine (Remeron) increases suicide 9.5-fold

01:26
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews People taking mirtazapine for depression were 9.5-times more likely to commit suicide over 5 years Research shows that antidepressants increase the risk of suicide. People given a diagnosis of depression who were taking mirtazapine (Remeron) were 9.5-times more likely to commit suicide over the next five (5) years compared to people given a diagnosis of depression who were taking no antidepressants according to a recent analysis. Subjects Subjects: 238,963 patients from 687 medical practices who were diagnosed with depression Subjects included were 238,963 patients from 687 medical practices who were diagnosed with depression from 1 January 2000 to 31 July 2011. A total of 88,272 patients were excluded from the study cohort because they had schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or other psychoses or had been prescribed lithium or antimanic drugs and/or had been prescribed an antidepressant before the study entry date aged less than 20, or more than 36 months before the recorded date of depression. Suicide rates highest during first month Suicide rates highest during first month on drug and first month after stopping drug Suicide rates tended to be highest in the first 28 days after starting treatment and remained increased in the first 28 days after stopping treatment. “The results of this study indicate that patients taking antidepressant drugs should be carefully monitored, especially during early treatment with antidepressants and when stopping treatment,” the authors of the paper concluded. Calculation The calculation used was Hazard Ratio of 3.70 for mirtazapine divided by 0.39 for those taking no antidepressants equals 9.5 times the risk of suicide.
