Pristiq & Xanax: How I Feel 2 Weeks Into Meds

12:38
I am taking Pristiq (DESVENLAFAXINE) 50mg for depression, and Xanax (ALPRAZOLAM) 0.5mg for anxiety and panic attacks. It's only been slightly over 2 weeks, and in this video I talk about some side effects I'm feeling. I also mention Ativan and how that made me feel, as I recently switched off it. Pristiq is an SNRI rather than the usual SSRI, meaning it affects the reuptake of both serotonin AND norepinephrine as opposed to just serotonin.

Pregabalin (Lyrica): What You Need To Know

19:28
Pregabalin (Lyrica) is a medication in the gabapentinoid class. It has anticonvulsant, anxiolytic, and analgesic properties. As such, it's used for epilepsy, neuropathic pain, anxiety, and other conditions. Despite being a GABA derivative, it doesn't appear to be operating through a GABA-related mechanism. The substance is also used recreationally due to its euphoric, anxiolytic, and pro-social effects. The EXTREME danger of Benzodiazepines. VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

15:02
In this video I am describing the extremely DANGEROUS and life threatening addiction that can result from taking Benzodiazepine Drugs. Benzodiazepines are a class(A category) of drugs. Yes, Drugs are categorized. You may have heard of antihistamines(Allergy Medicines), Barbituates, Narcotics, Amphetamines, SSRI's(Antidepressants, Eg. Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, Celexa, Effexor, Cymbalta, etc etc) NSAIDS(Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug AKA Pain Releivers. Eg. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc etc). All of these "classes" or categories have drugs under them that have the same purpose and work through pretty much the same methods in your brain and body. Benzodiazepines are a class of drugs that are used for the purposes of Anxiety relief, Preventing Seizures, Muscle Relaxation, And Insomnia Releif. If you are a person with any of these problems, There is a good chance that eventually a doctor or psychiatrist will try to prescribe you a benzodiazepine. However, They will most likely not inform you of the DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING withdrawal symptoms that can result from coming off of them once your body has adapted to having them for awhile. I will make more videos going even MORE indepth about this later on. Because there is A lot to explain. Until then, you can leave comments if you have any questions. And I will also keep updating this description with more information. Here is a list of most of the benzodiazepine drugs. I suggest staying away from them unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. And if you do decide to take one. Don't get to used to the nice relief it is going to give because you have to get off of it after 2 weeks or you can start becoming addicted. BENZODIAZEPINE DRUG LIST ------------------------------------------------ Alprazolam Xanax, Xanor, Kalma, Tafil, Alprox, Frontal(Brazil) Bromazepam Lexotanil, Lexotan, Lexomil, Somalium, Bromam Chlordiazepoxide Librium, Tropium, Risolid, Klopoxid Cinolazepam Gerodorm Clobazam Frisium Clonazepam Klonopin, Klonapin, Rivotril Cloxazolam Olcadil (Brazil) Clorazepate Tranxene Diazepam Valium, Apzepam, Stesolid, Vival, Apozepam, Hexalid, Valaxona, Ducene, Antenex Estazolam ProSom . Cycling Backwards (Bipolar 2)

09:16
After a pretty good 1.5yrs of stability - I'm fighting depression again. Partly medication, partly the situation - I'm just sick of cycling and being unstable. I feel like a slave to my medications (200mg Lamictal, 20mg Lexapro, 50mg Trazadone to sleep, Lorazepam for the worst anxiety) - each time they change it seems my personality (and level of mental distress) changes. Suicidal thoughts returning - lots of feelings of running away again - driving into the sunset as fast as I can.

Overpill. When Big Pharma exploits mental health

49:59
More films about America: https://rtd.rt.com/tags/usa/ The US has a highly developed pharmaceutical industry offering treatments for all kinds of mental disorders. Millions of Americans are being medicated for ailments as diverse as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and many others. Even young children are being put on psychiatric drugs. If parents decline such treatment, social services may intervene. Many patients, who’ve been taking these pills for years, insist that they do more harm than good. They have experienced disturbing side effects such as suicidal thoughts, addiction and even neurological damage. A lot of patients were put on their medication as children and by the time they were legally old enough to decide for themselves, they had already become addicted. They testify that breaking their dependency on the drugs is extremely difficult because, like any habit forming narcotic, they cause severe withdrawal symptoms. RTD meets some of the sufferers to hear their stories of battling to shake off prescribed medicines. Father of 5, Josh, was given anxiety medication, it caused Akathisia and Dystonia. Both are physical disorders causing involuntary and uncontrolled body movement and have left him disabled. Olivia’s son was prescribed psychiatric drugs to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD). Olivia soon noticed side effects and refused to continue giving him the pills. He was taken by social services and hospitalised. Denis from Russia used to work for a pharmaceutical company in the US but after meeting his wife, who had suffered from the side effects of antidepressants for most of her life, he started questioning the necessity for such widespread psychiatric prescribing. Their claims are supported by lawyers and medical professionals. Psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin is a vocal critic of psychiatric medication. He is adamant that the drugs are toxic and that many problems people talk to physiatrists about can be treated without resorting to drugs. His book on how to stop taking psychiatric medicines has helped thousands of patients who have struggled with the challenge. RTD meets a few of them. The Danger of Making Benzo Vids in Withdrawal [w/ bonus machete footage]

16:35
The video seems wimpy to me, like, 'Hey Steve, why didn't you just destroy the guy with logic and writing skills like you used to?' But the dude is a benzo user same as me. If I do that, I'm just letting myself get dragged down. The man is coming to grips with the benzo noose around his neck. What am I, if I savage a person with the same problem as me? Now, he pulled this post, so I couldn't find it at first. But I had left the page open on another machine. I then pulled the video it was under because it was boring even to me. He can pull the post, but something about Benzo withdrawal or damage means I can't pull it from my brain that easily. I was trying to HELP this guy. Guy kept telling me what to do, what to talk about in my vids, what not to WATCH on You Tube even! I said, 'I don't listen to advice from ANYBODY'[I meant 'listen' as in, 'You listen Timmy and clean your room!, I don't know what he thought I meant, I assumed like 'listen' as in considering his 'suggestions' for my behavior] Things devolved from there into the below 'final straw' tirade I understand people with no benzo withdrawal experience don't understand the emotional vulnerability, and I did tell the guy that I was 'as thick-skinned as they come', which USED TO BE true.-I like to think of myself as the same as I was before benzo withdrawal, that that's who I really am, but I don't know...there's just something about benzo withdrawal where you don't handle verbal abuse well. I have heard this from other benzo sufferers, how their emotions are like gasoline awaiting a match My dumb ass has CRPS, which means emotional abuse is translated into physical suffering if I leave myself open, be honest and vulnerable with people. So I should know better. But I like talking to people and I like trying to help. I don't want to lose that part of myself for fear of suffering. I have spoken about CRPS, which is an autonomic nervous system disease. And how your autonomic nervous system is hooked into the emotion centers in your brain. You know when you have stress or something hard to do, have nerves, and your stomach feels all tight or you have 'butterflies? That's your autonomic nervous system So I got a nerve disease AND a withdrawal thing that involve the nerves, like a double whammy. So yeah, I'm a little sick from reading what's below yesterday. It might go on for a couple of days. I'm a physical freak that way. I had a similar experience trying to help a person who I gave my email to, and they turned abusive. Mildly abusive, but abusive. I don't get sick from trolls and nonsense, just when I'm emotionally invested and make myself vulnerable

Pristiq Withdrawal: Week 5

02:34
So after tapering off Pristiq 50mg for a month (half a tablet every three days) I stopped taking them altogether a week ago. So far so good. I haven't had any brain zaps which I was fearing the most. I have had terrible insomnia every night and have been taking zopiclone if it becomes unbearable. Sometimes even that doesn't work. Adding to this I get these fucking annoying sensations of irritability all over my body when I am trying to get to sleep. My libido has come back to me which has been by far the most positive thing about getting off pristiq. For me this drug has been a complete waste of time and has actually done more harm to me than good. I will keep posting updates until all side effects have gone completely.

Gustl Mollath erklärt dir die Wahrheit über Psychopharmaka

03:30
