Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews 200 prescription drugs used in the U.S. increase the risk of depression or suicide. Two hundred (200) prescription drugs used in the U.S. list depression or suicidal symptoms as possible adverse effects according to a new paper from researchers at Columbia University in New York, NY, USA. The percentage of people reporting depression using drugs with depression as a possible side effect were: 4.7% of people taking no (0) risky drugs 6.9% of people taking one (1) risky drug 9.5% of people taking two (2) risky drugs 15.3% of people taking three (3) risky drugs These include some blood pressure drugs including Metoprolol (beta blocker), Atenolol (beta blocker), Enalapril (Vasotec — ACE inhibitor), Quinapril (ACE inhibitor). Seroquel Serious Side Effects

08:58
I was prescribed Seroquel for Anxiety as well as a possible mood disorder. I had HORRIBLE side effects from Seroquel. I gained over 10 pounds in a week, felt like I had the flu constantly, had horrible headaches, felt like my blood sugar was out of whack, super sleepy but couldn't sleep still, joint pain and swelling, and numbness with tingling in my feet. Then, I woke up to find my face swollen along with 3+ pitting edema in both legs. The Doctor had me stop the Seroquel instantly without weaning down and didn't have me on anything for 3.5 weeks. I felt crazier than I have ever felt in my entire life. I keep on fighting and I know that any of you going through any sort of mental illness can do so too!

Liver damage is serious and can even be fatal, so it's important to recognize what the symptoms are as soon as possible. Generally speaking, there are often no early signs of liver damage. The liver is a remarkable organ that can continue to function even though it has suffered significant harm from any number of biological or chemical threats and diseases. It can literally take years before any symptoms of liver damage present themselves. When liver damage symptoms do begin to appear, however, they usually include one or more of the following: abdomen pain in the upper right part of the stomach abdominal distention, caused by a condition called ascites, which is the buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity darkened urine depression, malaise, or a vague feeling of illness diarrhea fatigue and listlessness generalized itching hypoglycemia or low blood sugar jaundice, which is apparent in a yellowing of the skin. Jaundice is often the result of cholestasis, which is the blockage or stoppage of bile flow. Jaundice is often the first symptom of liver damage. light-colored stools loss of appetite lowered of sex drive low grade fever muscular pain and aches nausea unusual weight loss or weight gain varicose veins (enlarged blood vessels) vomiting Sleeplessness, confusion and mental disorientation are symptoms of severe liver problems. The patient may even go into a coma Although liver damage may be caused by physical trauma, such as a severe blow to the body, it more often occurs gradually as a result of liver disease or some other form of liver disorder. These typically include hepatitis B, hepatitis C, over indulgence in alcohol, cirrhosis, poor diet and nutritional habits drug abuse, including an overdose of acetaminophen and reactions to certain prescription medications. Certain foods can cause liver damage, especially poisonous mushrooms. Alcohol abuse is, of course, one of the most prevalent causes of liver damage around the world. And even overuse of certain over-the-counter drugs may harm the liver. And then there are illegal drugs that can be especially devastating. Once again, the liver is an extremely efficient, sturdy and resilient organ, liver damage symptoms may not begin to appear as soon as damage begins.

Latuda Medication Alternative 1-888-566-8774

01:03
Looking for an alternative to Latuda? https://ktcpartnership.com/ LATUDA is an atypical antipsychotic approved to treat adult patients with bipolar depression. In the last decade, KETAMINE has been used to treat patients with bipolar depression, major depression, and postpartum depression with a greater than 70% success rate within hours to days (not weeks to months like most oral medications/pills). Important Safety Information for LATUDA: • Antidepressants (like LATUDA) have increased the risk of suicidal thoughts and actions in some children, teenagers, and young adults. Patients of all ages starting treatment should be watched closely for worsening of depression, suicidal thoughts or actions, unusual changes in behavior, agitation, and irritability. • LATUDA can cause serious side effects, including stroke, that can lead to death. • Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) is a rare but very serious condition that can happen in people who take LATUDA. NMS can cause death and must be treated in a hospital. Some of these symptoms of NMS include: high fever, excessive sweating, rigid muscles, confusion, or changes in your breathing, heartbeat, or blood pressure. • Tardive dyskinesia (TD) is a serious and sometimes permanent side effect reported with LATUDA. Tell your doctor about any movements you cannot control in your face, tongue, or other body parts, as they may be signs of TD. TD may not go away, even if you stop taking LATUDA. TD may also start after you stop taking LATUDA. • Increases in blood sugar can happen in some people who take LATUDA. Extremely high blood sugar can lead to coma or death. • Increases in triglycerides and LDL (bad) cholesterol and decreases in HDL (good) cholesterol have been reported with LATUDA. • Some patients may gain weight while taking LATUDA. • Tell your doctor if you experience any of these: feeling dizzy or light-headed upon standing, decreases in white blood cells (which can be fatal), or trouble swallowing. • LATUDA may raise the level of prolactin. Tell your healthcare provider if you experience a lack of menstrual periods, leaking or enlarged breasts, or impotence. • Tell your healthcare provider if you have a seizure disorder, have had seizures in the past, or have conditions that increase your risk for seizures. • Tell your healthcare provider if you experience prolonged, abnormal muscle spasms or contractions, which may be a sign of a condition called dystonia. • LATUDA can affect your judgment, thinking, and motor skills. You should not drive or operate hazardous machinery until you know how LATUDA affects you. • LATUDA may make you more sensitive to heat. You may have trouble cooling off. Be careful when exercising or when doing things likely to cause dehydration or make you warm. • Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while you take LATUDA since these can affect the amount of LATUDA in the blood. • Tell your healthcare provider about all prescription and over-the-counter medicines you are taking or plan to take, since there are some risks for drug interactions with LATUDA. Tell your healthcare provider if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of LATUDA or take certain medications called CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers. • Avoid drinking alcohol while taking LATUDA. • Avoid breastfeeding while taking LATUDA. • The most common side effects of LATUDA include nausea, sleepiness or drowsiness, restlessness or feeling like you need to move around (akathisia), and difficulty moving, slow movements, muscle stiffness, or tremor. • These are not all the possible side effects of LATUDA. Far and away the most common experience with KETAMINE infusions (at KETAMINE TREATMENT CENTERS) is to have NO SIDE EFFECTS in between treatments. ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION REGARDING LATUDA IS TAKEN VERBATIM FROM www.latuda.com KETAMINE is a medicine developed more than 50 years ago for anesthesia during surgery, and has been used for that purpose since that time in children, adults, and animals. More recently, KETAMINE has been found to be a valuable and highly effective treatment for major depression, bipolar depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and certain pain disorders such as fibromyalgia. https://ktcpartnership.com/ Latuda Medication Alternative 1-888-566-8774

6 Muscle Gaining Mistakes (SLOW OR NO GROWTH!!)

14:00
Gain muscle fast by training like an athlete here… http://athleanx.com/x/muscle-gaining-workout-plan When it comes to gaining muscle, it’s not just about the workouts and exercises that you do but how you do them. In this video, I cover this and many other muscle gaining mistakes that could be holding you back from building the mass you should be from your workouts. You don’t even have to be a beginner to benefit from this video, as many advanced lifters can still be making many of these mistakes. The first big workout or muscle gaining mistake is to overtrain. Now despite what you may have been told, overtraining is a very real thing that befalls many lifters during their attempts to build muscle mass fast. They fall for the concept of more is better not realizing that if they are going to attempt to lift without the assistance of ped’s then their capacity to recover will be limited. With a healthy respect for one’s ability to recover from hard workouts, you can carefully walk the line between overtraining and not overtraining and use that to build as much muscle as you can naturally. That said, the next mistake is even more rampant than the first and that is under training. Simply attending a gym does not grant you the right to build muscle. You actually have to put in the work when you are there if you want to see appreciable muscle gains. Many people will hit the gym and never bring enough intensity to their training to see their muscles grow and grow quickly. In fact, once you master the balance between over and under training you will see that it is actually not that difficult to tip in your favor. By trading in workout length for intensity you will be able to build muscle mass while working out less. Your increased exercise and workout intensity will lead to faster muscle growth and more time to allow your body to recover and grow back strong. Speaking of strong, no solid physique is built without becoming strong on your foundation exercises like the bench press, deadlift and squat. That said, many people who struggle to gain muscle are often the same people who skip out on doing these exercises. There is a valid reason for it. These exercises can be intimidating to those who lack the strength and technique to perform them. Opting for easier versions however like concentration curls and pushups is not the answer long term. Start performing these exercises and build your confidence with them and you will see your muscles build and grow as well. Nutritionally, eating either too few calories or not enough nutrient dense calories will derail your pursuit of more muscle. Nutrition is and always will be a very important part of the equation. If you want to gain muscle you need to have your diet plan and meal plans in place to support your new muscle growth. Stop thinking that just because you are getting in enough calories that you have the goods to grow muscle. You may not. If you don’t have enough quality, nutrient dense calories coming in you will find it almost impossible to gain muscle fast or at all. For a complete workout and nutrition program that helps you to gain muscle by training like an athlete, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. For more videos on how to build muscle fast and how not to be a skinny hardgainer, be sure to subscribe to our channel here on youtube at http://youtube.com/user/jdcav24

Caring for women with epilepsy

10:03
Epilepsy affects approximately 1 percent of the population. In the United States, that adds up to about 3 million people. Half of those are women, and of those about 24,000 give birth each year. Studies show that most healthcare professionals do not know that sex hormones can affect seizures in women, and many could not report which seizure medications can cause contraceptive failure. UC Irvine Health epileptologist Mona Sazgar, MD, explains how the hormones can affect women with epilepsy, and what women and healthcare providers should know about seizure medications, pregnancy, birth control and more. How To Use Watermelon As a Natural Viagra Alternative

01:56
Most people believe that men's sexual performance and sexual function issues must be cured by medication, such as Viagra. However, a natural and home-made remedy is just as effective, if not better. That is because this remedy is made from aphrodisiacs, which encourages sexual feelings.  Here's how to make the homemade Viagra:   Ingredients:   - Freshly squeezed lemon juice - Watermelon   Preparation:   - Cut the watermelon in tiny pieces. - Blend the pieces of watermelon until you get watermelon juice, about a liter of it.  - Put the juice in a pot and boil it for several minutes.  - Add the lemon juice to the watermelon juice.  - Mix the juices well and boil until the whole amount reduces to a half.  - Set the mixture aside for an hour, so that it cools down.  - Pour the juice in a clean glass bottle.  - Store in the refrigerator.    Watermelon is great for your health. Specifically, for sexual health, it contains lycopene and citruline. Both of these nutrients are aphrodisiacs and improve your sexual performance.  When preparing to consume this mixture, be sure to limit your intake of sugars and salts, as they can reduce the effects.  Consume any amount of this drink, starting from 2 tbsp to 1/3 of a cup. This should be taken in the morning, on an empty stomach, or in the evening. When consumed on a regular basis, you will soon notice an increase in your sexual potency and performance. Both men and women, alike, can benefit from this drink, regardless of age.  Disclaimer: The materials and the information contained on Natural Cures channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. Excitotoxins, Neurotoxins & Human Neurological Disease Lecture - Dr. Russell Blaylock

37:42
Excitotoxins, Neurodegeneration and Neurodevelopment By Russell L. Blaylock, M.D There are a growing number of clinicians and basic scientists who are convinced that a group of compounds called excitotoxins play a critical role in the development of several neurological disorders including migraines, seizures, infections, abnormal neural development, certain endocrine disorders, neuropsychiatric disorders, learning disorders in children, AIDS dementia, episodic violence, lyme borreliosis, hepatic encephalopathy, specific types of obesity, and especially the neurodegenerative diseases, such as ALS, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, and olivopontocerebellar degeneration.1 An enormous amount of both clinical and experimental evidence has accumulated over the past decade supporting this basic premise.2 Yet, the FDA still refuses to recognize the immediate and long term danger to the public caused by the practice of allowing various excitotoxins to be added to the food supply, such as MSG, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and aspartame. The amount of these neurotoxins added to our food has increased enormously since their first introduction. For example, since 1948 the amount of MSG added to foods has doubled every decade. By 1972 262,000 metric tons were being added to foods. Over 800 million pounds of aspartame have been consumed in various products since it was first approved. Ironically, these food additives have nothing to do with preserving food or protecting its integrity. They are all used to alter the taste of food. MSG, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and natural flavoring are used to enhance the taste of food so that it taste better. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener. These toxins (excitotoxins) are not present in just a few foods, but rather in almost all processed foods. In many cases they are being added in disguised forms, such as natural flavoring, spices, yeast extract, textured protein, soy protein extract, etc. So, what is an excitotoxin? These are substances, usually acidic amino acids that react with specialized receptors in the brain in such a way as to lead to destruction of certain types of neurons. Glutamate is one of the more commonly known excitotoxins. MSG is the sodium salt of glutamate. This amino acid is a normal neurotransmitter in the brain. ...glutamate, as a neurotransmitter, exists in the extracellular fluid only in very, very small concentrations -- no more than 8 to 12uM. When the concentration of this transmitter rises above this level the neurons begin to fire abnormally. At higher concentrations, the cells undergo a specialized process of delayed cell death known as excitotoxicity, that is, they are excited to death. ...in most instances the effects are subtle and develop over a long period of time. While the food additives, MSG and aspartame, are probably not direct causes of the neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's dementia, Parkinson's disease, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, they may well precipitate these disorders and certainly worsen their pathology as we shall see. It may be that many people with a propensity for developing one of these diseases would never develop a full blown disorder had it not been for their exposure to high levels of food borne excitotoxin additives. Some may have had a very mild form of the disease had it not been for the exposure. Likewise, food borne excitotoxins may be harmful to those suffering from strokes, head injury and HIV infection and certainly should not be used in a hospital setting. How Excitotoxins Were Discovered In 1957, two opthalmology residents, Lucas and Newhouse, were conducting an experiment on mice to study a particular eye disorder.3 During the course of this experiment they fed newborn mice MSG and discovered that all demonstrated widespread destruction of the inner nerve layer of the retina. Similar destruction was also seen in adult mice but not as severe as the newborns. Then in 1969, Dr. John Olney, a neuroscientist and neuropathologist working out of the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis, repeated Lucas and Newhouse's experiment.4 His lab assistant noticed that the newborn of MSG exposed mice were grossly obese and short in statue. Further examination also demonstrated hypoplastic organs, including pituitary, thyroid, adrenal as well as reproductive dysfunction. Physiologically, they demonstrated multiple endocrine deficiencies.. When Dr. Olney examined the animal's brain, he discovered discrete lesions of the arcuate nucleus as well as less severe destruction of other hypothalamic nuclei. ...We know that when brain cells are injured they release large amounts of glutamate from surrounding astrocytes, and this glutamate can further damage surrounding normal neuronal cells. This appears to be the case in strokes, seizures and brain trauma. But, food born excitotoxins can add significantly to this accumulation of toxins.

How to Get Rid of Parasites in the Body Naturally

04:56
For more info: https://draxe.com/parasite-cleanse-top-5-treatments-naturally-2/?utm_campaign=Youtube-May-2012&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=parasites I would estimate that 50% or more of all Americans carry or have carried parasites. They can be picked up from many sources, but most people get them from eating pork or travelling to countries where clean water isn't widely available. Parasites can cause fatigue, digestive issues, and other health problems. I explain how I would fight off parasites in my body through good diet, supplements and cleansing. Supplements: 1. A broad spectrum anti-microbial, anti-yeast, and anti-parasitic formula designed to regain and maintain a healthy gastrointestinal environment 2. A tincture of black walnut, wormwood, olive leaf, garlic I recommend consuming these supplements for 2 weeks, taking 1 week off, and consuming them again for 2 more weeks. Diet: 1. To kill off bad bacteria and fungus, which parasites live off of, eliminate all sugar and grains and limit fruit intake. Consume organic meats, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. a. Breakfast: coconut smoothie with coconut milk, chia seeds, and protein powder b. Lunch: large vegetable salad c. Dinner: meat and double serving of vegetables 2. Pumpkin Seeds: #1 foods to kill off parasites -Eat 1 c. per day -Try my spicy roasted pumpkin seeds: https://draxe.com/recipe/spicy-pumpkin-seeds/ -Consume pumpkin seed oil Additional Recommendations: -Colonics: 1 per week for 3 weeks while on a 2-4 week parasite cleanse -Follow this protocol very strictly for one month. Episode 30 Holly Higgins talks about her own experiences with psychiatric drugs and withdrawal...

48:27
This week, we talk to Holly Higgins. Holly shares her own experiences of the psychiatric system and psychiatric drugs, how she approached withdrawal from the drugs and talks about how she became a nutritional therapy practitioner. Holly now supports others in managing their mental health using nutrition and her excellent website Pills to Paleo provides a wide range of helpful resources for those that want to improve their mental health without resorting to psychiatric drugs. In this episode we discuss: Holly's difficult childhood experiences that led to low mood and anxiety issues How, at 25, Holly experienced a breaking point leading to intense anxiety and experiencing irrational thoughts and panic attacks That between the therapist, a social worker and a psychiatrist, Holly was diagnosed with 10 different mood disorders and medicated with psychiatric drugs How Holly was told medication would be a 'life jacket' and that she would need to take the drugs for the rest of her life That Holly spent the most time on Zoloft, Lamictal and Xanax, an SSRI antidepressant, a mood stabiliser and a Benzodiazepine How Holly felt excited because she believed that the drugs would help her out of a very bad place and they would treat her diagnosed mood disorders That Holly bought into the idea that she was 'broken and that her brain chemistry was out of balance How the medical professionals downplayed adverse effects and that Holly feels that there was no informed consent because she was given so little information about the drugs That Holly's treatment journey felt like a rollercoaster in that every time the drugs stopped working, the psychiatrist responded by increasing the dosage or adding another medication How that combination of drugs, taken at high dosages made Holly feel very unwell, her mood flatlining and leading to weight gain and losing her libido, which in turn affected her self confidence and her sense of self That, after 18 months of the drug treatment, Holly realised that she needed to get off the drugs and she started to do more internet research although it was the early days and there wasn't very information available at the time That Holly's Psychiatrist was supportive of Holly reducing her drugs but her goal seemed to be lowering doses rather than stopping completely That even a 12.5mg reduction of the Zoloft caused a strong reaction leading to vomiting, nausea, shaking, cold sweats, dizziness, headaches and irritability That Holly managed to find an integrative Psychiatrist who agreed to help Holly taper off her medications How Holly managed to find help from the books The Antidepressant Solution by Joseph Glenmullen and Will Hall's Harm reduction guide to coming off psychiatric drugs That Holly started to taper by the Prozac bridging method, switching to Prozac helps because it is more slowly eliminated from the body which reduces withdrawal effects That even that taper was still too fast and Holly's Psychiatrist wasn't keen to help her find a compounding pharmacy or eager to titrate down in smaller doses That Holly ended up coming off everything within two months, leading to dizziness, extreme fatigue, headaches, vomiting and leading to substantial time away from work How Holly experienced a return of depressive symptoms but it was a withdrawal effect That Holly felt that she started to stabilise after another month or so and realised that she needed to lose the excess weight, trying several different diets but with limited success How Holly came across the diet, the Whole 30, a version of the Paelo diet which was radically different to anything else that she had tried The diet required Holly to eliminate all grains, all dairy, all soy, all legumes, all refined sugars and oils and focus on humanely raised animal protein, vegetables, frats, healthy fast and nuts and seeds That after a month, Holly started to see some weight loss and also felt her mood lifting so she continued with the diet leading to more weight loss and improvement in her mood How Holly came to realise the significant connection between nutrition and mental health and that she felt angry because medical professionals had not once talked about nutrients and their impact on her wellbeing That Holly went on to study Nutritional Therapy, becoming a certified practitioner and also using her own lived experience, now specialising in nutrition for mental health That nutritional changes can support the tapering process and reduce withdrawal effects because they eliminate the most common inflammatory foods such as gluten, sugar and refined oils That the cytokine model of depression shows the major contribution of chronic inflammation to depression and other mental health problems and that if you can reduce that inflammation you can improve your mental health without drugs That lowering inflammation can also heal the gut and that a Paleo diet can also stabilise your blood sugar

What Is The Ketogenic Diet / Keto Diet?

03:42
Victoria Whiteley, clinical lead Dietitian at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, UK, provides an overview about what is the ketogenic diet and who it is for. Come join us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MyketogenicdietUK What is the ketogenic diet? The ketogenic diet is used in the management of epilepsy that doesn’t respond to medication. It is another way of trying to help improve your seizures or even possibly stop them altogether. It is the complete opposite to what you may think of as a healthy balanced diet. It is a special diet which is very high in fat, low in carbohydrate and with enough protein for growth and repair of body tissues. How does the ketogenic diet work? In the ketogenic diet, the aim is to change the way your body works by encouraging it to use fat instead of carbohydrate as its main source of energy. When carbohydrate is eaten, it is broken down (metabolised) by the body to produce glucose to fuel your brain and other body cells. When the body breaks down fat it produces ketone bodies instead of glucose as the main energy source. It is these ketones that seem to stop or reduce seizures although how or why this happens is not fully understood. The ketogenic diet involves eating only very small amounts of carbohydrate foods (sugars & starches e.g. chocolate, sweets, bread, potato, pasta etc.) and a lot of fat (e.g. mayonnaise, butter, oil etc.) every day. It is very important you eat enough of the foods high in fat to enable your body use this for energy instead, by producing sufficient ketones. The ketogenic diet is tailored to meet individual requirements. It may require some adjustment or ‘fine tuning’ to make it just right for you to achieve the best level of ketones to help with seizure reduction. If the ketogenic diet is effective after an initial 3-month trial period, people with drug resistant epilepsy usually stay on it for up to 2 years, then may be advised to return to a normal diet. However if necessary, you can stay on the diet for longer. For those with the metabolic conditions Glucose Transporter type 1 (Glut-1 DS) and pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency syndrome (PDHD), the ketogenic diet is used as first line management and you will be advised to continue with it long term. It is very important that the ketogenic diet is undertaken alongside medical and nutritional supervision. For more detailed information about the ketogenic diet please refer to your ketogenic team. Who is the ketogenic diet for? The ketogenic diet is for the dietary management of epilepsy that doesn’t respond to medication in children and young people when two or more anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) have failed. The diet has also worked for adults that do not respond to medication and there are developments for its use in other neurological disorders. The ketogenic diet is not effective for everyone and there can be varying degrees of success. For some it may result in complete seizure control. For others, improved seizure control may be achieved, and possibly fewer side effects than other treatments, enabling a better quality of life. You should determine your own personal goals for the diet along with your dietitian and ketogenic team to ascertain whether the diet is working for you. You will likely have to continue with your medication when starting the diet. However, if the diet is helpful in the management of your epilepsy, your ketogenic team may review the amount of medication that you need, and may recommend they be slowly withdrawn. 7 Cystic Acne Home Remedies that Really Work

05:19
One of the worst kinds of acne is cystic acne. This type of acne feels like soft, fluid- filled lumps under the skin’s covering. These big, red lumps can be painful and can cause harm to the skin, and will probably leave scars. They usually come on your face, chest, back, upper arms, or shoulders. Taking proper care of your skin and a healthy lifestyle are very  important for treating cystic acne. There are also some simple home cures that can help treat  it by bringing down swelling and fighting infection. 1. Turmeric To get rid of cystic acne, you can use turmeric. This spice has curcumin, which naturally brings down swelling and eases pain. Also, it kills bad germs and fights the infection. Add a little water or unrefined sesame oil to 1 to 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder to make a paste. Put this paste on the hurt area and leave it on for about 1 hour before washing it off. Do this one or two times a day for a few days. 2. Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is another great cure for cystic acne. Because it’s an astringent, it helps get rid of extra oil to cure acne and ease pain and swelling. It also helps clean the skin and balance the skin’s acid level. Mix equal amounts of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and water. Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and put it on the hurt skin. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then wash it off with water. Do this two times a day for a few days. 3. Tea Tree Oil Tea tree oil goes into the skin easily to help unblock  the sebaceous glands, clean pores, and dry out the acne. Put 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton ball and pat it gently onto the hurt area. Leave it on for a few hours or overnight. People with sensitive skin should mix 1 part tea tree oil with 3 parts water before putting it on. Use this once a day for a week. Note: Some people are allergic to tea tree oil, so test it on a little bit of skin before using it. 4. Baking Soda Another great cure for cystic acne is baking soda. This is because it kills germs and brings down swelling. Baking soda can pull extra oil out of blocked pores and clean away dead skin cells. It also evens out the acid level of your skin, leaving it healthy and glowing. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with enough cucumber juice to make a thin paste. If you do not have cucumber juice, you can use plain water. Put it on the hurt area. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Do this one or two times a week. Note: Make sure to moisturize your skin after using baking soda. 5. Fuller's Earth Fuller’s earth is a type of clay that is good for curing cystic acne. It helps get rid of extra oil and dead skin cells, leaving clean and smooth skin. It even lowers the chance of scars forming. Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of fuller’s earth with enough water to make a paste. Mix in a ½ teaspoon of honey. Put it on your face. Let it dry on its own, then wash it off with water. Do this one or two times a week. 6. Indian Lilac Indian lilac, also called neem or margosa, is a popular Ayurvedic cure for cystic acne. It kills germs and bacteria to help fight the cause of the problem. It also eases signs like pain and swelling. Taking neem into the body even helps wash out poisons and cleans your blood. Put the paste of neem leaves on the hurt area of the skin. Let it dry on its own before washing it off with warm water. Do this two times a day for a few days. 7. Dietary Changes By making some changes to your diet you can stop any type of acne, including cystic acne. Here are some things you should change. Follow a low-glycemic diet with whole grains, beans, fresh fruits, and green vegetables. Eat nuts and seeds that are full of vitamins A and E. Drink a lot of water throughout the day to flush harmful poisons out of your body. Eat little or no dairy, like milk and cheese, until the acne is gone. Don’t eat oily, fatty foods and spicy foods that can make the acne worse. Don’t eat junk foods and foods full of sugar. My Daily Chemical Romance

Accepting that you need medication to be happy can be a hard pill to swallow. It feels like you’re covering up the real you, even if being the “real you” was an emotionally painful way to live. It can be even harder to let go of the love of your own sadness, which set you apart from the world before you were medicated. However, treatment is meant to let you break free of your mind’s limitations, so you can truly thrive and live your life to its fullest. It’s not meant to be a quick fix. There is no fix, because you’re not broken. The Great Gildersleeve: The House Is Sold / The Jolly Boys Club Is Formed / Job Hunting

The Great Gildersleeve (1941--1957), initially written by Leonard Lewis Levinson, was one of broadcast history's earliest spin-off programs. Built around Throckmorton Philharmonic Gildersleeve, a character who had been a staple on the classic radio situation comedy Fibber McGee and Molly, first introduced on Oct. 3, 1939, ep. #216. The Great Gildersleeve enjoyed its greatest success in the 1940s. Actor Harold Peary played the character during its transition from the parent show into the spin-off and later in a quartet of feature films released at the height of the show's popularity. On Fibber McGee and Molly, Peary's Gildersleeve was a pompous windbag who became a consistent McGee nemesis. "You're a haa-aa-aa-aard man, McGee!" became a Gildersleeve catchphrase. The character was given several conflicting first names on Fibber McGee and Molly, and on one episode his middle name was revealed as Philharmonic. Gildy admits as much at the end of "Gildersleeve's Diary" on the Fibber McGee and Molly series (Oct. 22, 1940). He soon became so popular that Kraft Foods—looking primarily to promote its Parkay margarine spread — sponsored a new series with Peary's Gildersleeve as the central, slightly softened and slightly befuddled focus of a lively new family. Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor. In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity. Many of the original episodes were co-written by John Whedon, father of Tom Whedon (who wrote The Golden Girls), and grandfather of Deadwood scripter Zack Whedon and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog). The key to the show was Peary, whose booming voice and facility with moans, groans, laughs, shudders and inflection was as close to body language and facial suggestion as a voice could get. Peary was so effective, and Gildersleeve became so familiar a character, that he was referenced and satirized periodically in other comedies and in a few cartoons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Gildersleeve
