Abilify: A Drug That Will Push Into CRAZY ZONE
Learn more about Abilify dangers here: https://www.levinlaw.com/abilify-lawsuit-lawyer Anyone who has ever dealt with a mental disorder, either personally or cared for someone suffering with one, knows that treatment of these conditions is incredibly difficult. And when you’re dealing with mental health, one of the worst possible outcomes of treatment is when it makes the condition worse, or causes side effects that are nearly equal to the condition they are designed to treat. And that appears to be the case with a medication called Abilify. Mike Papantonio discusses the dangers of this drug with attorney Chris Paulos. Learn more about Chris Paulos here: https://www.levinlaw.com/attorney-profiles/chris-paulos Statistics show that about 1 out of 5 American citizens suffer from some form of mental illness each year. These illnesses run the gamut from depression to Tourette’s syndrome. And with a market of more than 42 million people a year as their potential clients, Big Pharma hasn’t wasted any time creating countless pills they claim will help solve your mental health problems. There are plenty of medications available that do provide relief for people suffering from mental health problems, but there are also a wide variety of pills that have had their efficacy overstated by drug companies who were just trying to cash in on the latest blockbuster market that has opened up. Abilify is an anti-psychotic medication manufactured and marketed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical and Bristol Meyers Squibb. Its used in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, autism and depression. It’s intended to help decrease hallucinations, disorganized thinking, mood swings, depressive thoughts and tics. It's not approved to treat symptoms related to dementia, and can increase the risk of death in patients suffering from dementia. There are numerous lawsuits pending involving their anti-psychotic medication Abilify that clearly show the drug can cause impulse issues in adults, such as chaotic gambling, shopping, binge eating and hypersexuality. And with every one of those issues comes an entirely new set of problems for the people taking it. There have been reports of people losing everything by gambling away their homes, cars, and retirement funds due to the effects of Abilify. People are wrecking their home lives because of the side effects of abilify. What is so remarkable of all that is that the science appears to be absolutely solid that abilify is at the heart of the problem. According to the lawsuits that have been filed against Otsuka and Bristol Meyers Squibb, the company was fully aware of how their medication adversely effected a person’s impulse control and they completely failed to warn the public about these dangers. Documents point to the fact that the company had plenty information to show the problems here with the side effects related to abilify. They over-sold the effectiveness of the drug because and kept quiet about the risks because they wanted a piece of the 42 million customer market. And they were wildly successful. In 2014, Abilify was one of the best-selling medications in the United States, bringing in more than $7 billion for Big Pharma. In spite of all the dangers that have been emerging in the public arena with this medication for more than 4 years, juvenile detention centers have been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars each year buying stockpiles of Abilify so they can medicate juvenile delinquents instead of rehabilitating them. And these drugs are only increasing the frequency of the very behaviors that landed these children in trouble in the first place.

I apologize for the bad quality. By the way, if you are going to comment saying mental illness isn't real or I don't need medication, you are wasting your time. I am seeing a therapist, I have been over 10 years now since I was 8 or 9 (I'm 20 now), and I have tried just about any natural supplement you can possible think of (5-HTP, St. John's Wort, Energy supplements, Tyrosine, SAM-e, and lithium orotate, among many others).

The relatively new Vraylar falls into the family of atypical antipsychotics traditionally prescribed for schizophrenia. An advertising campaign seeks to boost its sales for mania associated with bipolar disorder. Whether this drug actually provides benefits commensurate with the $1400 monthly cash price or roughly $45 a pill remains to be determined. Studies leading to FDA approval failed to demonstrate significant difference between it and Abilify or Risperdal both of which are available as relatively inexpensive generics. Lithium offers an inexpensive option for mania and provides the lowest incidence of re-hospitalization for manic attacks. Atypical antipsychotic drugs often cause severe side effects and should be restricted to those truly in need.

Simulations of treatment discontinuation/interruption - Video abstract: 32735
Video abstract of original research "Management of antipsychotic treatment discontinuation and interruptions using model-based simulations" published in the open access journal Clinical Pharmacology: Advances and Applications by Mahesh N Samtani, John J Sheehan, Dong-Jing Fu, et al. Background: Medication nonadherence is a well described and prevalent clinical occurrence in schizophrenia. These pharmacokinetic model-based simulations analyze predicted antipsychotic plasma concentrations in nonadherence and treatment interruption scenarios and with treatment reinitiation. Methods: Starting from steady state, pharmacokinetic model-based simulations of active moiety plasma concentrations of oral, immediate-release risperidone 3 mg/day, risperidone long-acting injection 37.5 mg/14 days, oral paliperidone extended-release 6 mg/day, and paliperidone palmitate 117 mg (75 mg equivalents)/28 days were assessed under three treatment discontinuation/interruption scenarios, ie, complete discontinuation, one week of interruption, and four weeks of interruption. In the treatment interruption scenarios, pharmacokinetic simulations were performed using medication-specific reinitiation strategies. Results: Following complete treatment discontinuation, plasma concentrations persisted longest with paliperidone palmitate, followed by risperidone long-acting injection, while oral formulations exhibited the most rapid decrease. One week of oral paliperidone or risperidone interruption resulted in near complete elimination from the systemic circulation within that timeframe, reflecting the rapid elimination rate of the active moiety. After 1 and 4 weeks of interruption, minimum plasma concentrations were higher with paliperidone palmitate than risperidone long-acting injection over the simulated period. Four weeks of treatment interruption followed by reinitiation resulted in plasma levels returning to predicted therapeutic levels within 1 week. Conclusion: Due to the long half-life of paliperidone palmitate (25--49 days), putative therapeutic plasma concentrations persisted longest in simulated cases of complete discontinuation or treatment interruption. These simulations may help clinicians better conceptualize the impact of antipsychotic nonadherence on plasma concentrations, and the impact of medication-specific reinitiation strategies after intermittent nonadherence. Benzodiazepines & Antipsychotics Many Problems, Joan Mathews Larson
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Joan Mathews Larson, PhD hates benzodiazepines and antipsychotic drugs the most. Dr. Larson notes... The group of drugs that I abhor the most… Are [really] the benzodiazepines [anti-anxiety drugs like Alprazolam (Xanax)], but I don't talk about those. “We won't even treat people who are bent on benzodiazepines for 20 years and who are 60 years old [because] you cannot get those people off [their drugs]… “You can get them off [those drugs], but they're crazy and they want to sue you, so don't do that. This group of antipsychotics, Olanzapine (Zyprexa), Quetiapine (Seroquel), Risperidone (Risperdal)… These drugs are freely given for sleep in other programs. A study was published in 2006 in JAMA [Journal of the American Medical Association] on these three drugs. The subjects were elderly people [in nursing homes], and over half of them, 54%, were dead within 12 days of starting this study. These drugs can cause nerve damage, weight gain, pounding heart, temporary paralysis. These drugs are not needed to sleep. There are much better ways to sleep. This was noted by Joan Mathews Larson, PhD in a speech she gave in September 2007. For 30 years, Joan Mathews Larson, PhD has been treating addiction, anxiety and depression with natural supplements in order to correct the underlying biochemical problems which cause these conditions. Dr. Larson is the author of "7 Weeks to Sobriety", "Depression Free", and "7 Weeks to Emotional Healing". Angry Mic's SoundCloud: http://tinyurl.com/z2jmdnc MP3 Download: http://tinyurl.com/pbuo7y8 Original Video: http://tinyurl.com/lcl9sb4 Not 100%. These lyrics are a work in progress. Leave suggestions or corrections. LYRICS: To anyone following me on fucking Facebook, YouTube, Twitter STOP… Cause I’m not on that shit and don’t fucking donate either Yo, you’re all fucking nerds, a bunch of [Mark] Zuckerbergs You’re not the drunkard from the suburb or his publisher What up Jerse!? My hunger’s like the Governor's In other words, I’mma be as Big as Punisher So, Beware, use caution 'cause these drugs are wearing off The Reds, I call them Barry Larkin and I take them very often I’m about to drop shit, I’ve been prairie dogging since Intervention And, yo, I can’t hold it any longer The booth becomes a stall, first they “ohhh” and “awww” You have tuned into a tune but that only few can ignore It’s tutelage you’re rude to uproot the root of the cause I’m only using bars, I’m just like punitive laws I ain’t losing, so, you shouldn’t choose a war You ain’t got the fortitude to end up causing a feud that you can’t endure Me? I’m getting Putin involved with nuclear arms Until a mutiny of looting stores, a mutant’s evolved Liquor kills my sorrow, so bitter, the pills I swallow And mixing the pink and orange, must consider me Kilimanjaro So much debt that we borrow, who’s getting the bill tomorrow? Instead of the Monte Carlo, we want the Murciélago Not fiscally responsible, military ???wants a war??? ???Not a use for armor??? , now they need to conquer Kandahar No Kumbaya, just to fuse a lot of drones, human bombs Prez wants to remove Assad, while we're at it, nuke Iran I’m counting blessings instead of countless obsessions We ain’t come out the recession, it’s just about an election I bring an ounce to the session, I can’t get out my aggression So, I get in the ring and I have a bout with depression My Abilify got me high as [Joel] Przybilla Why must I always should feel if I play the role of the villain I really feel like it's silly pride and the flow is so ill-advised Even though it is killing guys, probably can make J Dilla rise Can’t use me like some loopy groupie that I fed some roofies I think these lugies have made me ruder than Andy Rooney My doodie smells like perfume to me, is there lunacy? Presumably, or am I just zooted? So, soon you’ll see To be or not to be, on top like a monopoly By smoking broccoli laced with lots of oxys and OxiClean Throw on tops of shit they made from poppy seeds I’ll not be seen, it’s not my dream to get more checks than a hockey team Asking where the chorus is? Might wanna fast-forward this Then take the recording and shove it right up your orifice Aren’t you bored with the smorgasbord of corporate annoyances? Then why don’t you get a thesaurus, find a word that’s pejorative I don’t need a foreign whip to get more head than corner kicks I’ll Hines Ward your chick, feed her pills like I’m Morpheus Amount of kids that swam through her organs is so inordinate That we can pass an ordinance to call her mouth an orphanage The ship has sailed, I’m moving quick as injured snails Long as finishing entails me being a millionaire Get locked up in a city jail, have someone fucking bring the bail Then laugh at the judge, tell her I’m too big to fail Decadent cultures coalesced into a global wreck I wished it all collapsed but [Henry] Paulson was on Goldman Sachs We could have took this whole thing back to a time When bankers went broke using their roller decks to make these fucking poker bets Why am I not surprised, Occupy got ostracized Inspired by the Arab Spring, no one lost their lives New York Times, they romanticize, press ain’t on your side So long, goodbye to the movement they can’t monopolize Rock-a-bye, go to sleep, kill change, Obamacide Should have said, "no comment", guy, or you shouldn't gotten high No coherent thoughts or why, all you said was 99% Made the world think that my generation has lost it’s mind My tax bracket ain’t change, see no capital gains Don’t have a cabin in Maine, so, I have to complain Rabble, rabble, rabble, how come half the campaigns Is just inaction, then these bastards back to passing the blame Back to this rapping game, you pissed at me? Then bring the beef You’ll be spitting knowledge when I’m knocking out your wisdom teeth Yo, this ain't Chris & Neef, this young gun is indiscreet Took some years off, came back and didn’t miss a beat
