What is Data Entry in Hindi

11:20
here subject is what is data entry in hindi. A data entry work is similar job to a typist in which data entry staff employed to enter or update data into a computer system database, often from paper documents using a keyboard, optical scanner, or data recorder. The keyboards used can often have specialist keys and multiple colors to help in the task and speed up the work. While requisite skills can vary depending on the nature of the data being entered, few specialized skills are usually required, aside from touch typing proficiency with adequate speed and accuracy. The ability to focus for lengthy periods is necessary to eliminate or at least reduce errors. When dealing with sensitive or private information such as medical, financial or military records, a person's character and discretion becomes very relevant as well. Beyond these traits, no technical knowledge is generally required and these jobs can even be worked from home. The invention of punch card data processing in the 1890's created a demand for many workers, typically women, to run key-punch machines. It was common practice to ensure accuracy by entering data twice, the second time on a verifier, a separate, keyboard-equipped machine, such the IBM 056. In the 1970's, punch card data entry was gradually replaced by the use of video display terminals. Excel Tutorial - Cleaning Up Data with TRIM, PROPER, and Text to Columns

13:50
In this Excel tutorial, you'll learn how to clean up data using the TRIM, PROPER, and Text to Columns functions (and more). By http://breakingintowallstreet.com/ "Financial Modeling Training And Career Resources For Aspiring Investment Bankers" Why Do You Need to "Clean Up" Data? Often you've pasted in data from websites or PDFs or other sources, and you get lots of ugly formatting and other problems, such as extra spaces, non-printable characters, etc. Also, data may be grouped together in cases where it's better to be separated (as in the address data here). This happens all the time on the job, and cleaning up the data makes your life easier and makes it 100x easier to manipulate and analyze it. You COULD go in and manually fix it, but you might want to jump off the roof of a tall building after doing that. Instead, we'll use these functions to automate the process: Text Manipulation Formulas (Across all PC and Mac versions): =TRIM Remove extra spaces =PROPER Makes first letter in each word uppercase =CLEAN Removes all non-printable characters from text =UPPER Capitalizes all letters in all words =LOWER Turns all letters in all words to lowercase Alt + A + E / Alt + D + E Text to Columns Ctrl + C Copy (CMD + C on the Mac) Alt + E + S + F Paste Formulas (Ctrl + CMD + V, CMD + F on the Mac) Alt + E + S + V Paste Values (Ctrl + CMD + V, CMD + V on the Mac) Alt + O + C + A Auto-Fit Column Width Alt + H + C + A Center Text How to Clean Up This Data in 5 Steps: 1. First, remove all the extra spaces and capitalize each individual word with TRIM and PROPER - could throw in CLEAN for good measure. 2. Then, separate everything into separate columns with the "Text to Column" function. May have to apply this several times if different characters separate each type of data (commas vs. spaces). 3. Fix anything that still requires fixing in these separate columns - capitalize all state abbreviations, make sure ZIP codes with trailing 0 still work properly (change format to text), and so on. May also need to apply additional TRIMs here. Must be really careful with copying and pasting data as values - have to do that to avoid errors! 4. Add column headers at the top, based on copy and paste of original header. 5. Delete extra rows/columns and shift everything over or up properly. What Next? Go apply this to real data that you're working with... depends a bit on the specific problems with the data, but you can never go wrong with TRIM, PROPER, and Text to Columns! If you're more advanced, you could try automating this entire process with VBA and macros, but that also gets complicated and may not save you much time since you need to know what the data looks like before writing code for that.
How to Write a Resume

02:17
Watch more How to Find a Job videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/2278-How-to-Write-a-Resume Want to get yourself out of a bad situation and into a better one? A solid resume is the first step. Step 1: Write name in bold w/ info Write your name in bold at the top of the page, followed by your address, phone numbers, and email address. Then center the whole thing. Tip It also helps to make your heading slightly bigger than the rest of your resume so it stands out at the top of the page. Step 2: List work history List your work history, starting with your most recent position. Include the place of employment, the dates you were employed there, and the type of job you performed. Tip If it’s your job titles that are impressive, lead with them in bold. If the places you worked are more impressive than what you actually did there, bold them instead. Step 3: Summarize positions Give a brief summary of what you did at each position. Step 4: Adjust to job description Look closely at the description of the job you’re applying for, and adjust what you’ve written to emphasize your most relevant skills and experience. Tip If you’re not applying for a specific job, use an 'Objective' line to describe what kind of work you’re looking for and why you want it. Step 5: Leave spaces Leave at last three spaces between job summations so your resume is easy to read—even if that means shortening some sections. Step 6: List education When you’re done listing former jobs, list your education, including the school you graduated from and the degree you earned there. Step 7: List personal information After your education, list any personal information—like hobbies, interests, or skills—that pertain to the job you’re seeking. But leave out the stupid stuff—if you’re applying for a job as a mortician, nobody cares if you can juggle. Tip The most relevant skills to include are proficiency in a foreign language and knowledge of a specific computer application or platform. Step 8: Offer references Always offer to make 'references available upon request' at the end of your resume. It’s classy—and if you actually have them, it’s even better. Step 9: Spell-check your work Be sure to spell-check your work, and ask a friend to look it over before you print it out. Step 10: Print resume When your resume is letter-perfect, print it out on the special paper of your choice. Did You Know? On average, for every 200 resumes reviewed, only one interview is granted.

#1 Estimating with Excel for the Small Contractor

15:02
In the video I will teach you how to use Excel to build a worksheet for estimating projects for the small contractor. The end result is a very basic, but usable estimating template. I hope to make additional videos to expand on this template and build a complete system of estimating, proposals letters, tracking your hours and materials and invoicing the job. All your information about the job is in one worksheet. I am not selling a product and I am a contractor just like you. I just wanted to teach other contractors how to use Excel in estimating. If I get some interest in the video then I will continue to make more of them. If no one is interested then I'll just stop at one video.

Qlik Sense - Using the Pivot Table Object

07:46
The Pivot Table offers rapid interchangeability of metrics and dimensions, creating different responsive views of the same dataset. Depending on what you want to focus on – you “pivot” dimensions and measures to summarize and group data of interest and hide data that is either too detailed or irrelevant during the analysis. Adding on-the-fly filtering and search, simplifies your analysis by allowing you to focus on what’s important so the necessary data is displayed front and center. When used in combination with other Qlik Sense visualizations, uncovering outliers and spotting areas of interest become even easier. Watch this video to learn how to use this new object.

Create a One Variable Data Table

04:39
Check out my Blog: http://exceltraining101.blogspot.com Ever heard of a variable table? What about a one variable table? Well if you haven't you've step into the right place. A one variable table gives you the ability to put a variable input in and see how that input affects some outputs. For example let's say you are taking out a loan and wanted to see what your payments would be at 1%, 1.5% or etc. Instead of erasing and plugging in a different interest each time, you can just create a table that list the interest rates ranging from 1% to say 7% in .5% increments. This can be done with a one variable data table. View the video to see how it's done. Check out my Blog: http://exceltraining101.blogspot.com

Pehle nirdeshon ko padhe aur tab OMR sheet bharein. Your OMR sheet may get rejected if you have not used the right colour pen (or writing medium, read the instructions in exam and before exam to know more and use a writing medium asked by exam conducting authority) to fill it. Do not write unnecessary text or numbers on the OMR sheet page, it may lead to rejection of your candidature or OMR sheet or may make it unreadable. Do not fill two answer boxes (A, B, C, D) for an answer or it will not be evaluated by the UPSC or the exam conducting authority such as UPPSC, BPSC, MPPSC and others. Sirf gole ko dhyan se bharein OMR sheet me, gole ke bahar ya aas paas kuchh na range ya bhare. Gole ko itna bhi mat bhariye ki OMR sheet phat jaye.

Writing Skills: The Paragraph

14:33
http://www.engvid.com The paragraph is the most important unit of a well-written essay. The paragraph has a specific structure and standards that make it effective and enjoyable to read. In this writing lesson we will look at how to construct good paragraphs and improve writing with better flow and clarity. After the lesson, take the quiz: http://www.engvid.com/writing-skills-paragraph/ TRANSCRIPT Hi, welcome again to www.engvid.com. I'm Adam. Today's lesson is about the paragraph. It's a writing lesson, and I want to show people what a paragraph is and how to construct one, what to do, what not to do so you can write very clear, very tight paragraphs. This is especially important for IELTS, TOEFL, SAT students but everybody has to follow the exact same rules. Now before I even begin, I must say that I'm talking mostly about academic writing or even business writing. Creative writing like novels or short stories, anything fiction, you can do anything you want. Only always remember: somebody has to read what you wrote so it has to be clear. But academic essays, for example, certain rules you have to follow; you have to be very careful about them. So let's begin. In terms of like the actual way a paragraph looks: you have to indent or skip a line. So let me just make sure you understand what an indent is. This is an indent, the first line a little bit pushed in or you can make sure you skip a line between paragraphs. But don't do both. If you skip a line, don't indent. Okay? That's the main thing. Now, that's in terms of the way it looks. In terms of content -- and this, I can't stress this enough -- very, very, very important: one central idea in one paragraph. Okay? I've seen many people, I've seen many essays where you start a paragraph talking about one thing, and then you go off on a tangent and talk about something completely unrelated. So for example: if you start a paragraph and you're talking about apples, continue to talk about apples. If you go to oranges, that's maybe okay because you're still talking about fruit. But if you start with apples, go to oranges, go to bananas, and then end up with monkeys in space there's a bit of a problem; the reader has no idea what you're talking about. One paragraph, one central idea. Now, make sure that you tell the reader what this central idea is. This is your thesis statement. Okay? It's a very general sentence. All it does is introduce the topic of the paragraph, nothing else. All the details comes after. So speaking of details, we'll talk about details in detail, but all other ideas, all the other sentences, all your sentences with the details must directly relate back to the main idea. So let's say here is your thesis statement; very general, every sentence after must relate back to that thesis statement. Okay? You can't go off to another idea. Everything must support this, must talk about the same topic. Very important. Okay? How long should your paragraph be? Technically, a paragraph could be one sentence, but in an academic essay that rarely happens. But it could be any length you want, as long as you're still on that one topic, as long as you still have things to write and things to say about that topic, say it. If you have four sentences, fine; if you have 10 sentences, also okay. Again, for IELTS, TOEFL, SAT students: four, five sentences should be your limit. You can't be too long because you don't have time and you're going to start making mistakes. So now, the details. Very important to have lots of details. Why is this topic important to your overall idea of your essay? Not only tell me what is the topic, what is the thesis statement of the paragraph, make sure you explain to me why this is important to the general idea of the essay. Give me your reasons. Now, why is it important? And then reasons, why you think what you're saying supports this idea. Examples, always use examples because giving me the reasons is okay; examples make me see exactly what you're trying to say. Very easy for me to understand what you're trying to say. Now, in terms of flow, in terms of the way the reader can approach the paragraph, you have to have bridges. What is, what do bridges mean? Basically, when you have one idea in this sentence, you must connect it to the next sentence, you must connect it to the next sentence. Every sentence must have a link to the next sentence. This creates flow, makes it much easier to read and understand, and it keeps you on the one topic. Now, key terms. If you're talking about something specific and you have to use a key term, use it as many times as you need to. Otherwise, avoid repetition. Try not to use the same word more than once in one paragraph. Okay? For example: if you're using the word "moreover" in the paragraph, don't use it, don't use "moreover" again -- use "in addition to", use "furthermore", "another", etc. Try to avoid using one word more than once, especially in the same paragraph.

Biggest common mistakes in resumes!

03:19
There is no such thing as a perfect resume. However, you can avoid some common mistakes that can significantly lower your chances of getting a job or even an interview. Let's review some of the biggest mistakes that you can make on your resume! 1) lying on your resume Did you know that according to a recent study, more than half of resumes have false information? Or did you know that more than 70% of surveyed college students admitted that they would lie on their resume to get a job they want!? The fact is that a skilled hiring manager can easily find the misleading information in your resume. Even if you are qualified for the position, false information can take away the job that perhaps you could have easily got . 2) Not getting a second opinion on your resume You might think that you have got the perfect resume, but the chances are that you are wrong. Ask at least two or three qualified people to review your resume and find spelling errors, important information that is missing or irrelevant information that should be removed from your resume. 3) Lack of specifics and details You should provide details for any claim that you make. If you have increased the company's profit in your previous position, the amount should be clear. If you have managed people or projects, the exact number and details should be provided. In these competitive job markets, lack of such details can cost you dearly. 4) Sharing personal information and having phrases that make you look less professional Sharing too much information can be very costly. This includes providing links to your social media profiles, especially if you have had embarrassing public moments. Sharing interests can also work against you. Assume that a Manchester United fan reviews your resume and you state that you are a die-hard Arsenal fan! chances of getting the job: zero! Also everyone expects that your references are available upon request, so whatever you do, don't put "References available Upon request" on your resume. It makes you look amateurish and less professional! 5) Having a very long resume Hiring managers might even receive several hundred resumes for some positions. Especially, if the company has multiple openings, they have little time to spend on reading your resume. Having more than two pages might really lower your chances of getting an interview, if you are not applying for an academic position. There is also a higher chance of having mistakes in your resume. When you write your resume, think about it like this: can a hiring manager get a good understanding of your skills and capabilities after reviewing your resume for around 30 seconds? If not, you need to start revising it! If you find this video to be useful, please give it thumbs up and share it with your friends! Tell Me About Yourself - Good Answer To This Tough Interview Question

03:08
How to perfectly answer the "tell me about yourself" job interview question. For more in depth information, check out this article on our blog: https://theinterviewguys.com/tell-me-about-yourself-interview-question Most people screw the "Tell us about yourself" type job interview question up so watch our video to learn exactly what you need to do. Here's what you can expect from this Jeff and Mike Job interview tips video: This video uncovers 3 specific job interview tips when it comes to answering this tough interview question. The problem with the Tell me about yourself question is that it leaves things incredibly open ended and can lead job interviewees down a path that can lead to them being disqualified from the job within seconds! It's no surprise so many people are always trying to figure just how they should be answering this question, after all it's one of the most common opening questions you'll face at an interview. I know both Mike and I screwed up this question for years. As you'll see in the video, the interviewer doesn't care about your personal story. They're not interested in the fact that you grew up with a puppy named "Tex" and that you grew up in a sleepy town in Wisconsin... They want to know about your specific work achievements and strengths! Job interview questions are all about discovering whether you can bring to the position, exactly what they're looking for in terms of abilities and qualities. Ones that are going to benefit the company you are interviewing with. Here are some excerpts from the video: Jeff's bad answer: "Well, I'm from Seattle, Washington, I enjoy mountain biking and cooking and my favorite color is..." Jeff's good answer: Well, I've been in sales for the last 5 years. My most recent experience was in the retail industry, where I was a manager at the Comfy Shoe Company. I was personally responsible for a 30% increase in sales over the last year. I'd say that my main strength is my leadership ability, which was evident in the way I mentored my sales team to reach our lofty goals. What I am looking for is a company that values teamwork and the group dynamic, where I can join a strong team and have a positive impact on the team dynamic and sales revenue. 3 Tips to answering the Tell Me About Yourself question: MIKE There are three main points that you need to remember when answering this question...what's the first one Jeff? JEFF Well, as you saw in my bad answer, you absolutely DO NOT want to go on and on about your personal life or hobbies and interests. MIKE Which leads me to point number two. You want to include specific work achievements from your past in your answer. But there's one final trick right Jeff? JEFF That's right Mike. It is always a good idea to mention your strengths and abilities in your answer. Please leave your comments below, share this video with your friends on Facebook and Twitter, and don't forget... As we talk about in the video, if you want to give perfect answers to interview questions that will get you the job....You need to tailor each answer to exactly what the company is looking for. This is the method that the top job seekers in the world use. It's also helped Mike and I get offers from one job interview after another. There's a bit more to "Tailoring" than I can go into in this description or in the video but we've written a brand new special report that explains this incredibly powerful job interview method. The next thing you need to do if you want to get a job from your next interview is read this report immediately... You can get it for free by clicking the link at the end of the video. Thanks, Jeff & Mike "The Interview Guys"

How to Ace a Telephone Interview & Get the Job

02:39
Watch more How to Ace Job Interviews videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/180143-How-to-Ace-a-Telephone-Interview-and-Get-the-Job Step 1: Arrange a good time Arrange a time when you can speak freely without interruptions. That means no kids, dogs, or nosy co-workers anywhere nearby. Tip Keep your resume on hand in case an employer calls unannounced. Step 2: Give good phone Take the call on a landline; cell phones are vulnerable to poor reception and dropped calls. If you have call waiting, check with your phone service about suspending it during scheduled interviews. Whatever phone number you left as your contact, make sure its outgoing message is professional. Step 3: Prepare notes Unlike an in-person interview, you can have notes in front of you. Take advantage by setting up information cheat sheets about the company and your interviewer. Organize your notes in bulleted points so you don't sound rehearsed, and prepare answers to common questions, like, "Why do you want to work for our company?" Tip If your interviewer is in another part of the country, check their local news so you'll have some timely icebreakers ready. Step 4: Know your salary needs Know your salary requirements. Because phone interviews are sometimes a way to narrow an applicant pool, many prospective employers begin the dialogue with that discussion. Step 5: Rehearse Record a mock phone interview with a friend so you can correct any verbal tics like speaking too fast or saying "you know" too often. Step 6: Make silence golden Make sure you're far away from anything that could make a distracting sound, and be sure to mute your computer, cell phone, and PDA to avoid interruptions. Step 7: Give a performance Sit or stand up straight during the interview, wear something professional, and smile when you speak. You may feel silly, but speech experts say it will make you sound more alert and self-possessed. Tip Use a headset if you can. It will allow you to move around and make the gestures you normally make when you speak, which will help you come across as more relaxed and confident. Step 8: Shut up occasionally Don't be a blabbermouth. The interviewer is likely taking notes, so give them some time to do so. Step 9: Send a thank you End a phone interview the way you would end an in-person one – by sending a written note or e-mail thanking the interviewer for their time and reiterating your interest in the position. Did You Know? A candidate who flushed the toilet during a phone interview made a top-10 list of the worst job-hunter blunders.

Best Interview Answer to "Tell me about yourself" YouTube Top Pick

05:10
Watch Don show you exactly how to answer "Tell Me About Yourself." Tell me about yourself is one of the toughest interview questions. This is an open-ended question, but really what the interviewer wants to hear is about your recent work experience and your journey that brought you to this point in your career. Why don't they just ask that question instead? Because they want to see where you will go with an open-ended question. Your answer to "tell me about yourself" tells the interviewer where your mind is. If you start telling him that you are a Cleveland Browns fan, then you are way off base with what he wants to hear and you have just made your first mistake. What do you want the interviewer to know about you when you leave, your work experience or your personal interests? I'm confident their hiring decision will be based on your work experience, save your personal interests for the water cooler after you get the job. Wrong answer to tell me about yourself: 1. "What would you like to know?" This statement completely throws the question back at the interviewer in somewhat of an insulting way and he/she is forced to reword the question. Best answer to tell me about yourself: 1. "What part of my work experience would you like me to talk about?" a. Now the interviewer can reply with a simple straightforward answer. Some interviewers want you to start from your first job and others only want to hear about your most recent job. b. If the interviewer would like you to start from your first job, assuming it has been several years since you had that job, then lightly touch on the jobs that you no longer hold, but expand on your current or most recent job experience and accomplishments. Focus on your answer and talk about your accomplishments from your current or most recent job and lightly touch on your daily duties. These are the things an interviewer really wants to hear. Because if he thinks you were successful at your past job, then you will be successful at this job. Even if you don't feel that you accomplished anything, look deep and think of something you did that helped the company. Or better yet, describe an accomplishment that you contributed to the company, just make sure it's in the same line of work. For example, don't take credit for boosting sales revenue if your job is to fix computers. • Briefly talk about your current employer. • Discuss 2-3 of your most significant accomplishments. • Talk about a few of your key strengths as they relate to the job for which you are applying and how they can benefit from your strengths. • Then discuss how you see yourself fitting into a position at their company. 1. Speak of how you completed projects on time and under budget. 2. Tell them how you increased sales revenues for two straight quarters in a row. 3. Describe of how you came up with a new procedure that saved the company money. 4. "I have been in the customer service industry for several years and most of my experience has been dealing with calls from our customers. I truly enjoy working with the people in this business as well as the challenges. In my last job, the good relationships I formed with my customers resulted in me holding the highest customer retention rate of everyone else in my department." 5. "One of my best strengths is my attention to detail. When I set out to work on a task or project, I always make sure it get's done on time." Be Your Own Boss With Data Entry Business Work At Home

02:17
check out the link below to start making money with legitimate online data entry work http://www.goodinternetmoney.com/How_To_Find_Legitimate_Online_Data_Entry_Jobs.php Be Your Own Boss With Data Entry Business Work At Home Data entry business Work at home is an orthodox data entry that demands the usual managing of data i.e. editing it, writing further details, proof reading it or even making it look more presentable and organized Data Entry Work at home implies the sorting out of the data, adding data, checking it for errors and even writing abstracts, reports and letters while sitting at home. It also includes making up ads for several advertising companies etc. Before going to how data entry works, lets have a look at some of the important aspects to be kept in mind while data entry. First of all, you need to have a strong background of being able to work on word applications, because almost all of the data entry work at home is done using word applications. Therefore, if you do not know how to use them make sure you get yourself some coaching classes before starting up with them. Then of course you need to stay away from scammers as they wont pay you for your hard earned money, therefore it is best to contact the company by your own self before signing up with the contract and starting data entry work at home. And lastly, there are many data entry works which require the use of management skills, therefore you need to use some strong forceful words in your ads to impress the buyer as you would only get paid after someone buys from those ads of yours. Straight away, let's go on how data entry works. Well it's relatively simple. All you need to do is, to find a job online which requires a home data enterer. You contact the company to see if it's a legitimate company and then you apply for the job. And guess what you have the data entry at home job. Start making money while sitting at home and get your family a luxurious life without leaving them. Data entry work at home can be quite easy but it can turn out to be a disaster too for you. I mean like if you can't do the work on proper time or you get scammed by some player. Therefore care must be taken of a few things before initiating with it. But all in all it is a very impressive and much easier way to have a comfortable living while even staying near your loved ones. It's a miracle for those who want to be data entry clerks while sitting at their home places.

Researcher/Microsoft Excel/Data Entry/Adobe Photoshop Expert/Photoshop

01:21
My name is Muhammad Shahin Mridha. I have four years of experience in Adobe Photoshop, Data Entry, Photography and Photo Editing. I am a full-time freelancer. My services include all kinds of photo edits. So, I serve others with my professional skills, from last four years I have worked as a photo editor. My main job is retouching photos like wedding photos and fashion. My profession is to give high quality photo retouching services and want to build a long-term relationship with professional photographers. I am also a data entry expert and have a lot of knowledge of MS office suite like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS AccessYou do not acquire rich experience by sticking to one area, one job, or one mindset. I'm valuable to my clients because I create more space for what is valuable to them. I have approximately 3 years of experience in writing, research, and editing. Of these, I'd say that my research is of the most importance to me. Without that skill, I could never really enjoy the success I have in other areas, particularly ghostwriting. Who I work with: 1. Consultants and visionaries. Innovators who have knowledge to share and market, but are too busy having great ideas to deal with word choice, punctuation, and clean, readable text. 2. Small-business warriors. People who put in long hours to make the nuts and bolts of their operations functional. All they need to top it off are a few imaginative product descriptions or a proper manifesto that will help to define and inspire their customer base. 3. People not entirely unlike myself. Writers who need an extra pair of eyes, writers who need more content quickly, writers who'd like to graft a fresh perspective onto their well-established voice. 4. Everyone, really. Maybe you just need someone to pen a bit of crucial correspondence, personal or professional. A snappy-yet-dignified rebuttal, a sentimental exit letter. I can say whatever you like, just how you like it. What I do: 1. I write articles and blog posts to expand traffic to sites where quality products are sold. 2. I write product descriptions for merchants who want to highlight the best features of the products they offer. 3. I write blog posts and articles to provide extra content for people who are feeling spread a bit too thin to meet their audience's needs. 4. I write motivational blogs and training materials for coaches and business consultants who want to attract the people who need their expertise. 5. I write nonfiction e-books for people who have a lot to say, but too little time to say it. 6. Editing - I've found "editing" to be a rather generic term for how it's applied, but I can re-spin, reorganize, clean up, and punch up work you've completed. I perform all of the above in the style of your choosing - conversational and inclusive, sober and informative, or anything in between. The choice is yours - I'm just your co-conspirator. Over the years, my personal interests and relentless quest for knowledge have left me with a nearly burdensome amount of things to say about various topics. These would include, but are most certainly not limited to: yoga, meditation, nutrition, and general wellness. I have completed an internship in the administrative offices of Habitat for Humanity. My volunteer work includes several hundred hours in assisted living communities and animal shelters.

Watch the sequel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5Ac7ap_MAY 97% owned present serious research and verifiable evidence on our economic and financial system. This is the first documentary to tackle this issue from a UK-perspective and explains the inner workings of Central Banks and the Money creation process. When money drives almost all activity on the planet, it's essential that we understand it. Yet simple questions often get overlooked, questions like; where does money come from? Who creates it? Who decides how it gets used? And what does this mean for the millions of ordinary people who suffer when the monetary, and financial system, breaks down? A film by Michael Oswald, Produced by Mike Horwath, featuring Ben Dyson of Positive Money, Josh Ryan-Collins of The New Economics Foundation, Ann Pettifor, the "HBOS Whistleblower" Paul Moore, Simon Dixon of Bank to the Future and Nick Dearden from the Jubliee Debt Campaign. 1970 U.S. Postal Service Film Reading and Sorting Mail.....Automatically OCR Basics

08:44
1970 U.S. Postal Service Film Reading and Sorting Mail.....Automatically OCR Basics "This 1970 film demonstrates the U.S. Postal Service's Optical Character Recognition (OCR) machines, which allow mail to be sorted automatically." Optical character recognition (optical character reader) (OCR) is the mechanical or electronic conversion of images of typed, handwritten or printed text into machine-encoded text. It is widely used as a form of data entry from printed paper data records, whether passport documents, invoices, bank statements, computerised receipts, business cards, mail, printouts of static-data, or any suitable documentation. It is a common method of digitising printed texts so that it can be electronically edited, searched, stored more compactly, displayed on-line, and used in machine processes such as machine translation, text-to-speech, key data and text mining. OCR is a field of research in pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and computer vision. Early versions needed to be trained with images of each character, and worked on one font at a time. Advanced systems capable of producing a high degree of recognition accuracy for most fonts are now common. Some systems are capable of reproducing formatted output that closely approximates the original page including images, columns, and other non-textual components... History Early optical character recognition may be traced to technologies involving telegraphy and creating reading devices for the blind. In 1914, Emanuel Goldberg developed a machine that read characters and converted them into standard telegraph code.[citation needed] Concurrently, Edmund Fournier d'Albe developed the Optophone, a handheld scanner that when moved across a printed page, produced tones that corresponded to specific letters or characters. In the late 1920s and into the 1930s Emanuel Goldberg developed what he called a "Statistical Machine" for searching microfilm archives using an optical code recognition system. In 1931 he was granted USA Patent number 1,838,389 for the invention. The patent was acquired by IBM. Blind and visually impaired users In 1974, Ray Kurzweil started the company Kurzweil Computer Products, Inc. and continued development of omni-font OCR, which could recognize text printed in virtually any font (Kurzweil is often credited with inventing omni-font OCR, but it was in use by companies, including CompuScan, in the late 1960s and 1970s). Kurzweil decided that the best application of this technology would be to create a reading machine for the blind, which would allow blind people to have a computer read text to them out loud. This device required the invention of two enabling technologies – the CCD flatbed scanner and the text-to-speech synthesiser. On January 13, 1976, the successful finished product was unveiled during a widely reported news conference headed by Kurzweil and the leaders of the National Federation of the Blind.[citation needed] In 1978, Kurzweil Computer Products began selling a commercial version of the optical character recognition computer program. LexisNexis was one of the first customers, and bought the program to upload legal paper and news documents onto its nascent online databases. Two years later, Kurzweil sold his company to Xerox, which had an interest in further commercialising paper-to-computer text conversion. Xerox eventually spun it off as Scansoft, which merged with Nuance Communications.[citation needed] The research group headed by A. G. Ramakrishnan at the Medical intelligence and language engineering lab, Indian Institute of Science, has developed PrintToBraille tool, an open source GUI frontend[4] that can be used by any OCR to convert scanned images of printed books to Braille books. In the 2000s, OCR was made available online as a service (WebOCR), in a cloud computing environment, and in mobile applications like real-time translation of foreign-language signs on a smartphone...

For each part you need to answer a series of questions of one type. - Section 1 (10 questions): social or transactional conversation (2 speakers) - Section 2 (10 questions): talk or speech on social needs (1 speaker) - Section 3 (10 questions): conversation in educational context (2-4 speakers) - Section 4 (10 questions): talk or lecture on topic of general interest (1 speaker) ★ Task types: - completing notes, table, sentences, diagram, flow chart or summary - short-answer questions - various kinds of multiple-choice questions - labelling parts of a diagram - classification matching lists - sentence completion - correcting notes ★ IELTS Listening Tips and Hints: ►- Read the questions before each section of the recording begins. ►- Use the pauses to prepare for the next set of questions. ►- Study the instructions to find out what you have to write and where. ►- Use the example at the beginning of the first section to familiarize yourself with the sound, the situation, and the speakers. ►- Keep listening all the time, looking only at the questions that relate to the part being played. ►- Remember that the topics are non-technical and no more difficult for you than for students of other subjects. ►- Answer questions in the order they appear on the Question Paper - they normally follow the order of information in the recording. ►- You have some time after the tape ends to transfer your answers to the Answer Sheet - check you grammar and spelling as you do so. ►- There may be a variety of English accents and dialects, so practise listening to speakers from different places and backgrounds. ★ Marking the IELTS Listening Test Each question in the IELTS Listening is worth one mark. * Question which require letter/Roman numeral answers ►- For questions where the answers are letters or numbers, you should write only the number of answers required. For example, if the answer is a single letter or number you should write only one answer. If you have written more letters or numerals than are required, the answer must be marked wrong. * Question which require answers in the form of words or numbers ►- Answer may be written in upper or lower case. ►- Words in brackets are optional - they are correct, but not necessary. ►- Alternative answers are separated by a slash (/). ►- If you are asked to write an answer using a certain number of words and/or (a) number(s), you will be penalised if you exceed this. For example, if a question specifies an answer using NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS and the correct answer is 'black leather coat', the answer of 'coat of black leather' is incorrect. ►- In questions where you are expected to complete a gap, you should transfer only the necessary missing word(s) onto the answer sheet. For example, to complete 'in the...', and the correct answer is 'morning', the answer 'in the morning' would be incorrect. ►- All answers require correct spelling (including words in brackets). ►- Both US and UK spelling are acceptable and are included in the Answer key. ►- All standard alternatives for numbers, dates and currencies are acceptable. ►- All standard abbreviations are acceptable. ►- You will find additional notes about individual questions in the Answer key.
