Say Goodbye Cholesterol With This 8 Foods That Lower Cholesterol

03:14
http://serious-fitness-programs.com/weightloss Follow Us On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheSeriousfitness Individuals that are overweight and obese are more prone to cardiovascular diseases because of the high cholesterol level in their blood. Therefore, it is recommended that they lose some weight to help reduce their cholesterol level. To help keep cholesterol low, it is important to eat a healthy diet that is low in unsaturated fat. However, cholesterol levels can be reduced when you include the following super 8 foods that lower cholesterol. 1. Oats: Having a bowl of oatmeal or oat-based cereal for breakfast is an easy first step to improving your cholesterol. It provides you with 1g to 2g of soluble fiber and an extra 0.5g each if you add a banana or some strawberries. The daily recommendation for fiber is 20 to 30 grams with 5 to 10 grams obtained from soluble fiber. 2. Barley and other whole grains: These assist in lowering the risk of cardiovascular diseases, just like oats and oat bran, mostly through their supply of soluble fiber. 3. Nuts: Nuts are rich in fiber, vegetable protein, healthy fats, vitamin E, potassium, magnesium, natural plant sterols and many other plant nutrients that are beneficial. Taking about 30-35g of nuts daily could lower cholesterol by up to 5%. 4. Beans and Other Legumes: Beans, lentils, peas and peanuts are also super sources of soluble fiber. According to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition (November 2007), it was discovered that eating half a cup of cooked dried pinto beans (2 grams of soluble fiber) every day for 12 weeks consistently decreased LDL cholesterol by almost 7%. 5. Soy: Soy is another super food that is high in fiber, low in saturated fat and free of cholesterol. It is the only complete plant-based protein, which implies that it’s an equal swap for animal sources like meat and dairy. Substituting foods that are high in saturated fat with daily Soy intake has the ability to lower LDL cholesterol by almost 8 to 10% - according to a study published in The Journal of Nutrition (2010). 6. Vegetable oils: Another way to reduce cholesterol is by cooking with liquid vegetable oils such as sunflower, canola, safflower and others instead of butter or lard. 7. Citrus fruits, Grapes, Apples and Strawberries: These fruits are very rich in pectin, a type of soluble fiber that helps lower LDL. 8. Avocados: Avocados contain monounsaturated fats that help in lowering LDL and increasing HDL, most especially in persons with mildly elevated cholesterol. Add a few slices of avocados to salads and sandwiches, or mash with garlic, salsa and lemon juice for a great guacamole. There are many other foods that lower cholesterol levels but these eight are a good place to start if you are dedicated to forming eating habits that are healthy. Generally, stay away from unsaturated fats and eat more of fiber, Omega-3 and monounsaturated fats, - doing this will definitely help improve your cholesterol level. ► 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven]

05:39
See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. What is the BEST DRINK to LOWER CHOLESTEROL? LOWER Your CHOLESTEROL NATURALLY By Drink this DRINK!

11:12
Drinks to Lower Cholesterol. High levels of bad cholesterol and total cholesterol increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. Total cholesterol takes into account levels of both low-density lipoprotein, or bad cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein, or good cholesterol. According to the Mayo Clinic, your diet plays a critical role in reducing cholesterol levels. Adding particular beverages to your diet may be beneficial. Green Tea Green tea contains the highest levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, several studies show that this beverage can lower LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. It also boosts levels of HDL cholesterol, which sweeps bad cholesterol from your arteries. Researchers believe that green tea’s polyphenols inhibit absorption of cholesterol in the intestines and enhance its excretion from your body. Berry Juice Berries help reduce blood cholesterol levels, but some are more effective than others. In a study conducted by the University of California at Davis, researchers found that fresh berries significantly decreased LDL cholesterol. Blackberries were the most effective, followed by red raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. More research is needed to determine the amount of berries or juice people should consume to lower cholesterol. However, drinking more berry juice on a regular basis may be beneficial. Tart Cherry Juice Tart cherries are loaded with antioxidants that provide several benefits, including reducing cholesterol levels. In a study conducted at the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center, rats that received whole tart cherry powder as part of a high-fat diet had significantly lower levels of cholesterol than other rats. Cherry juice is readily available at supermarkets and natural health stores. However, you can also make your own at home using dried cherries or cherry powder. Ginger Tea Ginger has been used medicinally for centuries to treat health problems such as nausea and diarrhea. Preliminary studies also indicate that it may also help lower cholesterol and prevent atherosclerosis, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, which recommends not consuming more than 4g of ginger daily. Caution While green tea and ginger tea are generally safe, in some cases they may cause side effects. For instance, drinking too much green tea may cause insomnia, dizziness or irritability. Ginger tea may cause heartburn or stomach upset. Also, these drinks can interact with certain medications. Consult your doctor about consuming these drinks to control your cholesterol levels.

Magical drink to reduce cholesterol in 2 weeks. With Only Half Cup A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! With Only 3 Tablespoons A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by your body and found in certain foods. Your body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly, but having too much (high cholesterol) puts you at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. The extra cholesterol that isn’t used by your body builds up in blood vessel walls, causing blockages. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having high cholesterol doubles your risk of heart disease. Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglycerides  LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body.) The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. They’re also fairly straightforward and can be done at any age. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats. Quit smoking. It’s important to remember that everyone is different. Family history and whether or not you have other conditions, such as diabetes, plays a role in your individual risks. Talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels and ask what he or she thinks your numbers should be. how to reduce cholesterol quickly how to lower cholesterol without medication lower cholesterol diet how to lower your cholesterol in 2 days supplements to lower cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally home remedies foods to avoid with high cholesterol how to control cholesterol in indian diet how to prevent heart attack with food how to prevent heart attack naturally how to avoid heart attack while sleeping how to prevent heart attack when alone how to prevent a heart attack while it's happening how to prevent heart attack at night how to prevent heart attack from happening how to avoid heart attack symptoms how to prevent a stroke naturally foods that prevent stroke how to stop a stroke in progress how to prevent a stroke after a mini stroke how to prevent a stroke aspirin how to prevent a stroke or heart attack how to prevent a stroke from happening again stroke prevention diet To view more, click here: https://goo.gl/ONjJau SUBSCRIBE: Click here: https://goo.gl/wsOEBM Connect with me on: Email: muskaanhamad@gmail.com Muskaan Science Academy: https://goo.gl/ndG6eG Google Plus: https://goo.gl/6bNOp4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/muskaan.hamad Blog: http://beautyandmakeuptips2016.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: https://naturalhomeremedies.tumblr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muskaanhamad/ Vine: Search "Muskaan Hamad" on vine! This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and heart attacks. People of all ages, ethnicities and genders can have high cholesterol. Please note: The content provided below and elsewhere on this video is not intended nor should it be construed as providing professional medical or nutritional advice. Do not rely on information provided on this video for your health problems. instead, consult a qualified medical professional for advice. Here are the top 10 super foods to lower cholesterol. 01:02 Oatmeal 02:05 Almonds 03:09 Orange Juice. 04:07 Salmon 05:06 Soybeans and Soy Products. Having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast daily is another easy way to lower your high cholesterol level. The high soluble fiber content in oatmeal helps lower LDL. It reduces the absorption of cholesterol into your bloodstream. Fiber also fills you up quickly and helps you avoid mindless eating. The heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and fiber in almonds help raise good HDL cholesterol and reduce the bad LDL levels. A 2011 study published in Nutrition Review found that consumption of tree nuts like almonds help reduce LDL cholesterol, a primary target for coronary disease prevention, by 3 to 19 percent. Sweet, tangy and juicy oranges are another superfood that has cholesterol-lowering properties. In a 2000 study published in the American Society for Clinical Nutrition journal, researchers found that orange juice improves blood lipid profiles in people who have hypercholesterolemia. This happens due to the presence of vitamin C, folate and flavonoids like hesperidin in oranges. The omega-3 fatty acids called EPA and DHA found in salmon provide protection against high cholesterol. It helps lower triglycerides and boosts good HDL cholesterol slightly, thus lowering the risk of heart disease. In addition, salmon is low in cholesterol and saturated fat. Soybeans and other soy products offer a complete plant-based protein that is great for those who suffer from high cholesterol. 🍐 Most Powerful Fruit Lowers Your Cholesterol In Only 7 Days - Clinically Proven!

Discover the REAL cause of high cholesterol and a simple formula my parent’s have used since 1999 to lower their cholesterol naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/CholesterolSecret Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodsForCholesterol References: 1. https://www.avocadocentral.com/nutrition/avocado-nutrition-health-facts-label 2. Arch. med. Res. 1996:27(4);519-523 3. Journal of the American Heart Association 2015; 4:e001355 4. http://www.naturalnews.com/029202_olive_oil_smoke_point.html ======================================= 🍐 Avocado - The Most Powerful Fruit To Lower Your Cholesterol In Only 7 Days - Clinically Proven! ======================================= Now if you’ve been following my work, watching my videos or reading my articles, you’d know that I’m not a big fan of fruit because of the sugar content. This is because the fructose sugar in fruits, can actually increase your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, while also increasing your risk for diabetes. All bad for your heart. Anyway, if fruit isn’t really that good for your health - then why am I promoting “fruit” in today’s topic? Well, the fruit I’m referring to is an Avocado! Now, most people call it a vegetable because it’s green. However, the avocado is technically a fruit, and even more specifically, a single-seeded berry. Personally, I categorize an avocado under FATS because one medium size avocado (150 grams) has about1: 240 calories 12 calories (3 grams) from protein 12 calories (3 grams + 9 grams fiber) from carbohydrates 216 of calories (24 grams) being from fat (90% of the calories) Now, the TYPE of fat is the key to avocado’s “cholesterol lowering” secret and I’ll get to that in a minute. As far as clinical proof for improving your cholesterol… One study2 saw a 16% decrease in total cholesterol after only 7 days of a diet high in monounsaturated fat from avocados and a 22% decrease of both the “bad” LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides, along with an 11% increase the “good” HDL cholesterol. In a second study3, the participants saw an average drop of 14 points in “bad” LDL cholesterol with a higher avocado diet The “Secret” Heart-Healthy Fat Now, the reason for avocado’s working so well is that 66% of the fat is from monounsaturated fats!1 Most people like olive oil as the main source of monounsaturated fats. However, I don’t because most olive oil is rancid and processed. It’s “fake”. Most of the healthier, “extra virgin oils” break down at a lower heat temperature and thus, it’s best kept UNCOOKED and eaten raw. My favorite monounsaturated fat to cook with is macadamia oil because it’s not processed very much and also has a high heat capacity, so it’s great for cooking.4 Summary So if you want a healthier heart and lower your cholesterol, decrease your sugars and increase healthy monounsaturated fats from my favorite heart-healthy fruit, an avocado! ======================================== Thank you for watching. Top 10 Foods That Naturally Lower Your Cholesterol - Low down your high cholesterol naturally with foods. HOW TO REDUCE BAD CHOLESTEROL WITH FOOD?

01:32
WATCH this video to know HOW TO REDUCE CHOLESTEROL with FOODS by dietician Jyoti Chabria. How to reduce cholesterol? I’m sure we all want to know more about it! Cholesterol is a substance which is found in every cell of your body. Your body requires a certain amount of cholesterol to make hormones, vitamin D, and to help you digest foods.  The body produces all the cholesterol it needs. However, cholesterol also is found in some foods as well. Cholesterol is transported throughout the body by 2 kinds of lipoproteins.  We have the LDL which is the bad Cholesterol and the HDL which is the good cholesterol.  How to reduce bad Cholesterol:  In order to reduce bad Cholesterol, we have come to terms with ourselves regarding our diet. Eating anything and everything which looks appetizing and tasty may not be the solution. # Let us take a look at some really healthy foods that can prevent bad Cholesterol:  1. Olive oil: Try using 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil in your food per day. It is safer than other oils and helps reduce LDL levels.  2. Whey Protein: This is a dairy products and is known to lessen LDL considerably.  3. Oatmeal; Another wonderful food which cuts down LDL because of its soluble fiber. This fiber is also found in apples, prunes, pears, barley and kidney beans.  4. Walnuts, almonds and other tree nuts: They can reduce levels of bad cholesterol.  They are full of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids and also help keep blood vessels healthy.  5. Avocados: These are again great foods that improve LDL levels in people who are obese.  # How to control cholesterol: - As we grow older we must start monitoring what we eat. After a certain age, there are some foods which can cause serious illnesses for us. So why take the risk?  # Let's have a look and see what types of food should be avoided to control cholesterol.  1. Liver: It is rich in fat and can increase the LDL levels tremendously.  2. Muffins: If they are made at home in whole milk and eggs, are not at all advisable.  3. Margarine: This product is full of fat and will only add to the existing problem.  4. Microwave popcorn: This popcorn prepared in a microwave with lots of butter, oil and salt is not recommended either.  5. Cakes: Avoid cakes and cookies as much as you can as they contain transfats.  So how to lower cholesterol is the question. We need to have those types of food, which can really help. # Garlic is a wonderful remedy for cholesterol. Consuming 2- 3 pods of garlic every morning on an empty stomach can do the trick! For more benefits of garlic, check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pyq8nzRbYGI # Aloe Vera juice is also useful to control cholesterol, as it is rich in anti oxidants.  # Flax seeds are another option as well.  # Oats contains a substance called beta-glucan which absorbs LDL that your body later excretes.  # Omega-3 fats are scientifically proven to reduce bad cholesterol too.  # Olive Oil, tea, fish and nuts are equally helpful and aid in protecting the body against LDL cholesterol levels.  Source @ http://www.stylecraze.com/articles/si... Tell me in the comments below: what do YOU do to manage your cholesterol levels? Have you been diagnosed with this problem and if so, what do you do to care for yourself? Is there a particular food you eat? A diet you maintain? Or do you exercise regularly to manage this issue? Let me know as I really want to hear what is working for you! Heart disease is preventable, yet millions of people die yearly from a disease that is largely in your power to prevent. Take the steps today to get control of your health, your well-being and your longevity and begin including these foods in your diet as soon as possible~ Your heart will thank you for it~ Have a wonderful Monday and I look forward to sharing time with you again next week~ xo B

Does Exercise Lower Cholesterol?

06:11
Discover what Dr. Sam Robbins, a leading natural health expert, has to say about how exercise can help and what are the best type of exercises to quickly lower your cholesterol with less effort and time. http://drsam.co/yt/Exercise-Choleslo **************************** Does Exercise Lower Cholesterol? ************************** Most people focus on dietary changes to help lower cholesterol, but exercise can also help tremendously. Different ways that exercise helps lowering your cholesterol levels: 1. Weight loss / Management Being overweight causes an increase in your “bad” LDL cholesterol. 2. Improved blood sugar / Insulin levels When you exercise, especially anaerobically with “weights”, you help lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. This helps you lose weight, but also reduces your triglycerides. 3. Improved Lipoproteins Exercise increases the size of the protein particles that carry cholesterol through the blood. 4. Increase in “good” HDL levels 5. Improved hormone levels When you exercise properly, you improve your hormones (testosterone, estrogen, insulin etc.). While also lowering the stress hormone, “cortisol”, which is the most important aspect of exercising. Your hormones literally control how your body looks, feels and performs! The goal is to exercise daily for at least 20-30 minutes, but rarely more than an hour because too much exercise causes an increase in your stress hormones. You don’t need a gym! You can do all of this at home if you want to, any time of the day and it really won’t cost much. Improving your cholesterol levels is very important but it is just one factor out of many, when it comes to preventing and reversing heart disease. You also need to improve your HDL/LDL ratios, triglycerides, homocysteine and other lipid levels. Managing your lipid profiles is probably one of the most important aspects to health, longevity and disease prevention. Making dramatic life-style changes — such as eating much better, eliminating lots of different foods and exercising daily — is very important but for many people can be difficult to start and it takes a longer time to see results. Do you know how to start easier and get faster results? CholesLo ™ contains ingredients that have been scientifically research and clinically tested to help support healthy cholesterol levels. How to Reduce Bad Cholesterol

02:29
Watch more Healthy Eating videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/432350-How-to-Reduce-Bad-Cholesterol A little attention to detail never hurt anyone and may have benefits if it involves monitoring what you put in your body. Reduce your bad cholesterol through simple disciplined measures that are proven to help. Step 1: Disrupt fat with exercise Use exercise to naturally disrupt the metabolism of fat. Eating less helps, but excess body fat will keep cholesterol up until you actually lose pounds by breaking a sweat. Moderate walking and workouts five days a week can raise good cholesterol by 10 percent. Tip The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health suggests everyone 20 and over should check their levels of bad cholesterol every five years. Step 2: Relax and reflect Relax and reflect periodically, rather than give in to the high tension that constricts arteries and raises blood pressure. If you're constantly stressing out, consider making some long-term changes that will eliminate some of your stres for good. Step 3: Get good greens Drink green tea, full of compounds that can help lower bad cholesterol. Eat leafy greens as well, for soluble fiber that sponges up cholesterol in the digestive tract. Step 4: Consume nuts Consume nuts instead of cheese, meat, or croutons in salads. According to the Food and Drug Administration, a daily handful of 42.5 grams of nuts may reduce cholesterol and the risk of heart disease. Step 5: Substitute fish Substitute meat with fish twice or three times weekly. Consuming fish can profoundly lower cholesterol and triglycerides. Step 6: Choose smart fats Select smart fats for your diet, substituting canola or olive oils for vegetable oil, butter, margarine, lard, or shortening. It's not merely fats, but the kind of fats you eat, that make the difference. Tip Eggs do not drastically increase cholesterol. Step 7: Take drugs to lower cholesterol Take a cholesterol-lowering drug if you have evident cardiovascular risks. Beforehand, consider alternatives like niacin, bile acid resins, and fibrates. Step 8: Commit to win Resolve to make changes, and live a healthy lifestyle. It's your life -- only you can make the changes to lower your bad cholesterol. Did You Know? In 2010, researchers identified nearly 100 gene variants possibly linked to as much as one third of hereditary factors influencing cholesterol production.

🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol

04:47
How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Normal-Cholesterol Or you can see the most powerful fruit for lowering cholesterol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFY4Vl19Fo ======================================= 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol ======================================= Heart disease is the #1 killer in the world and has been for decades. Many people think that high cholesterol is the cause - but it’s not. It’s just ONE of many factors. Sadly, doctors immediately try to prescribe you cholesterol lowering statin drugs when there’s no need. High AND low cholesterol are both bad for your health. Cholesterol is needed for hormone production and every single cell in your body needs cholesterol - including brain cells. Unfortunately, many people eat what they think are “healthy foods”, but are actually not good for them and are causing high cholesterol levels. So today I’m going to reveal 5 foods you should avoid, especially if you want to have HEALTHY cholesterol levels: 1 - Baked Foods/Carbs Stay away from baked foods like muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… As well as “packaged” foods such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. The combination of fats and sugars in these foods increases cholesterol and plaque buildup even more, in addition to higher triglycerides, inflammation, high blood sugar and blood pressure. ALL of these combined is what causes heart disease. 2 - DAIRY I’m a firm believe that regardless of anything you read, you should stay away from dairy or at least limit it. This is because milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows. We are the only animals who continue to consume milk products after the initial “baby” stage. It’s NOT natural. Besides, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! These toxins stress your liver and cause an increase in cholesterol. Remember, 80% of your cholesterol is made IN YOUR LIVER. 3 - Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shellfish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-and-nutrition/NU00202 4 - Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated, saturated and omega 6 fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It may be easy and good for your wallet because they’re cheap foods -- but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay a higher price later in life. http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Cholesterol/PreventionTreatmentofHighCholesterol/Cooking-for-Lower-Cholesterol_UCM_305630_Article.jsp#.WCd_XySlGFU 5 - Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages the structure of the fat. However, the egg yolk can actually increase your “good” HDL cholesterol and this is done when you eat the yolk that’s still soft and runny. Raw eggs are great or soft boiled. Make sure it’s organic, pastured, free-range eggs. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. This is "bad" cholesterol, since high LDL levels are linked to increased risk for heart disease. • High-density lipoproteins (HDLs) carry excess cholesterol back to the liver, which processes and excretes the cholesterol. HDLs are "good" cholesterol: The more HDL you have, the lower your risk for developing heart disease. 15 Natural Ways and 5 Best Foods to Lower Cholesterol for Better Heart Health

13:46
15 Natural Ways and 5 Best Foods to Lower Cholesterol for Better Heart Health. It’s a great idea to lower your cholesterol naturally, and if you make the proper adjustments to your diet and lifestyle you may not need to go on prescription medication to get the job done. In some cases natural methods may not be enough, and your cholesterol may be at a dangerous enough level that you need to intervene with pharmaceuticals. That’s why it’s always a good idea to work with your doctor and let them know you’d like to handle this as naturally as possible. Here are a variety of ways you can start using to get your cholesterol under control. 1. Increase Activity Levels:. The absolute most natural way to lower cholesterol is to get your body moving more. It’s natural for the human body to move, and in today’s society our level of activity has hit all time lows. We’re presented with a world that comes to us and requires very little action on our part. We sit in our cars, at our desks, and on our sofas, and getting exercise has become like a chore. But it wasn’t always like this, and some of the lowest rates of high cholesterol come from cultures where daily activity is built into the lifestyle. 2. Get More Fiber:. Eating more fiber is one key to lowering your cholesterol, and is very natural as well. Earlier humans used to eat plenty of fiber, as their diet consisted mostly of fruits growing in trees, and later plants that they found while foraging in a hunter-gatherer lifestyle. Only in modern times has the standard diet become so devoid of fiber. Since meat is so easily obtained now and forms the cornerstone to most meals, with fruits and vegetables relegated to side dishes, the amount of fiber consumed daily has been reduced to very low levels. Increase your intake of natural fiber sources and you’ll do wonders for your cholesterol. 3. Reduce Saturated Fats:. Saturated fat is the bad kind of fat, the kind that hardens arteries and raises your bad levels of cholesterol. If you reduce the amount of saturated fat you eat, all else being equal you should notice a reduction in your cholesterol levels. One of the easiest ways to help clear out some of the saturated fat in your diet is it change your cooking methods. Bake your food instead of frying it, or grill it. These two ways of cooking drastically reduce the amount of oil you’re using, which will naturally help you reduce the saturated fat, and have lower levels of cholesterol as a result. 4. Watch the Salt:. Today’s foods are already loaded with sodium, yet still we add salt to them in order to flavor them up, sometimes without even tasting them first to see if they need it. The problem is that ordinary iodized salt is going to contribute to your sodium levels, which could increase levels of hypertension, which when combined with high levels of cholesterol can spell trouble. If you need to use salt, make sure it’s sea salt or Himalayan salt, and not the refined salt you see on restaurant tables across the country and in great big blue cylindrical containers at the store. Lower Your Blood Sugar Level Instantly With These 11 Foods

04:21
Lower Your Blood Sugar Level Instantly With These Foods Maintaining healthy levels of your blood sugar can protect you against diabetes and other health conditions, such as stroke, blindness, and heart attack. What you eat can impact your blood sugar levels. The following foods, along with your doctor’s recommendations, can help you manage your blood sugar levels, so you can live a healthy life: 1. Avocados: Several people avoid avocados because of the fat content, but this fat is actually good for everyone – even those with high blood sugar levels. The fat is known as monounsaturated fat, which slows down the distribution of sugars in your bloodstream, therefore resulting to lesser release of insulin. 2. Olive Oil: Just like avocados, this type of oil contains monounsaturated fat that helps with insulin resistance and belly fat growth. 3. Blueberries: In 2010, the Journal of Nutrition found out that blueberries can reduce the risk of developing diabetes, even for those who are already at risk. Blueberries have bioactive ingredients that can help in increasing your sensitivity to insulin. 4. Cinnamon: Diabetes Care conducted a study in 2003 that claimed how cinnamon causes the liver and muscles to be ready when in contact with insulin. Foods that lower cholesterol fast - Eat These 4 Foods Every Day To Lower Your Cholesterol

Foods that lower cholesterol fast - Eat These 4 Foods Every Day To Lower Your Cholesterol Eat These 4 Foods Every Day To Lower Your Cholesterol What is cholesterol and what is its significance in your life? The fats in your blood have waxy substance in it known as cholesterol. Unfortunately, you can inherit high cholesterol. You can prevent it from getting worse, though, by working out or refraining from smoking. Eating a balanced diet is the best way to keep your cholesterol levels in check. Read on to find out what foods to eat to ensure your cholesterol levels stay within normal range. 1. Whole grains Examples of grain products are any food made from corn, oats, rice, wheat, or another cereal or grain. You can keep your cholesterol levels low by consuming a diet rich in brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa, rye, wild rice, and whole wheat. Whole grains are an excellent source of important vitaminssuch as folate, niacin, thiamin, and vitamin B2. Your blood will no longer be depleted of oxygen as whole grain increases iron levels. It is crucial that your iron levels are high since your body already struggles in transporting oxygen-rich blood because of your narrowed blood vessels. Hence, eating foods rich in viscous fiber like barley and oats can make all the difference. Why? They lower down LDL cholesterol levels (a.k.a. bad cholesterol) and the blood pressure aside from improving insulin response and glucose levels. You can also benefit from the prebiotic effect you can get from grains rich in insoluble fiber such aswheat because it normalizes blood pressure and glucose levels. You should never skip breakfast if you want your cholesterol levels to remain in normal range. Doing so likewise lowers down your caloric requirement for the entire day. Studies support this notion as your cholesterol levels can drop by4.6 points if you consume a lot of whole grains and a further 6.5 point reduction if you eat a lot of oats. The Apple-Cinnamon Granola is a great recipe for starters. Protect your heart and still be able to enjoy a tasty treat. It is better to make your own granola at home rather than purchase commercially sold ones to ensure it is low in sugar and thus healthy for your heart. 2. Apples The doctors were never wrong in promoting daily apple intake as it was also found that it is also helpful in keeping bad cholesterol at bay. It makes for a sweet snack as it contains antioxidants and pectin that reduces inflammation and reduce LDL cholesterol levels. These two conditions predispose you to premature aging and a long list of chronic and debilitating ailments. Aside from antioxidants, apples are also a good source of vitamins A and C that are helpful against deadly free radicals. FYI, free radicals are molecular by-products of digestion. Apple is also a good source of soluble fiber that helps in reducing blood sugar levels along with that of cholesterol.I 3. Garlic Not exactly the most pleasant scent you want to smell, garlic works wonder in fighting oxidation and reducing inflammation.Naturally rich in antioxidants, garlic fights oxidation thereby preventing the cells from getting damaged. It is also effective in stabilizing cholesterol and triglyceride levels, common complaints among the elderly. Mixingabout 20 grams of crushed garlic in lemon juice to prevent hyperlipidemia and maintain normal blood pressure, lipid, and fibrinogen levels in a group of people between the ages of 30-60 as shown in one study. 4. Dark chocolate This is perhaps the most exciting and sweetest solution to reducing high cholesterol levels. Chocolate is made of cocoa. There are certain chemicals in cocoa that protect the cells from pathogens. There was an 11% reduction of the LDL cholesterol levels among patients who participated in a study published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology. This result has been observed 15 days after they started taking 100 grams of dark chocolate daily. Take Everything in Moderation Your diet plays a huge role in maintaining normal cholesterol levels. Eating everything in moderation and preferring a diet high in healthy fruits and veggies and staying well hydrated is sometimes all you need. For better results, eat more whole grains, apple, garlic, and dark chocolate and you’ll soon start seeing positive results in your health. foods that lower cholesterol fast how to lower cholesterol cholesterol cholesterol diet how to reduce cholesterol lower cholesterol low cholesterol diet foods that lower cholesterol high cholesterol cholesterol levels how to lower your cholesterol how to lower cholesterol naturally how to control cholesterol high cholesterol foods high cholesterol diet ldl cholesterol reduce cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally lower cholesterol naturally ways to lower cholesterol low cholesterol recipes how to lower cholesterol fast how to lower ldl how to reduce ldl cholesterol
