What is the Sinclair Method? Is Naltrexone and Vivitrol the Addiction Cure?

09:37
I've had some clients in my addiction treatment center ask me what is the Sinclair Method and is Naltrexone / Vivitrol the addiction cure. This is a topic that we need to discuss more because there's a narrative out there that this opioid blocker can cure drug addiction and alcoholism. In this video, you'll see a clip from the Sinclair Method Ted Talk with Claudia Christian who is a recovering alcoholic. She used Naltrexone as a way to treat her alcohol use disorder. ______________________________________________________ Need to talk about your addiction, anxiety, depression or any mental illness? I personally used Naltrexone, but not in the way you'd think. Drug abuse is the biggest epidemic we've ever seen and alcoholism is a huge problem as well, so we need to discuss what works and what doesn't. Low Dose Naltrexone and Depression

19:48
Read more at https://www.biobalancehealth.com This may seem like a doctor problem and not a patient problem, but I think understanding the key differences in types of depression can guide patients to understand the cause of their depression (the neuro-chemical that is missing) and can guide you and your doctor to the right medication faster than the usual trial and error method of depression medication choices. You don’t have to be a neuro-psychiatrist to understand this type of depression that you are experiencing. Many people have a mixed depression but that is often why we see depressed patients taking multiple medications to treat both deficient brain chemicals or neurotransmitters. Today you will learn how to recognize different types of depression and how medicine addresses these deficiencies. Recent research has divided depression into categories based on the neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) that are deficient. These deficiencies cause the depressed moods that people experience and that doctors call depression. • Serotonin deficiency—low serotonin levels • Dopamine deficiency—low dopamine levels • Epinephrine and norepinephrine low levels of each • Endorphin deficiency—low brain opioid levels • Hormone deficiencies—low oxytocin, prolactin, thyroid, testosterone We will describe all of the types and the specific medications, foods, and supplements that help replace the missing neuro-chemicals. Serotonin deficiency depression has a specific symptomology. You can tell by asking a depressed person certain questions about how they feel and the foods they crave. The foods craved by S-Depression are bananas, dairy and high carb foods. Serotonin deficient patients obsess and worry, and have trouble sleeping and are all in pain. If they are suicidal they tell their doctors they want to end it all because life is painful, or they are in pain, and they want it to stop. Supplements that improve Serotonin deficient depression include 5_HT, Magnesium, Tryptophan, B Complex Vitamins and B3, Zinc and St. John’s Wort. Drugs that increase just Serotonin are: Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, Lexaro, Brintellex, Viibryd. Dopamine deficient patients are missing the “feel good” hormone, this and is associated with pleasure and reward. In mental acuity, motivation and arousal this hormone is necessary. Dopamine is a stimulant neurotransmitter in the category of catecholamines where norepinephrine and epinephrine are filed. A disease that is caused by chronically low dopamine is Parkinson’s disease, which occurs as we age and takes away our facial expressions of joy and responsiveness to social attachments. Dopamine is necessary for people to feel love, attachment to loved ones and generosity. Dopamine deficient patients complain of dissatisfaction, apathy, boredom, difficulty thinking, and loving as well as trouble with concentrating and critical thinking. Dopamine deficient depressed people sleep a lot, they are apathetic and cannot get going in the morning. When these patients talk about suicide they say, “I have nothing to live for, there is nothing in life that gives me a reason to stay.” For these patients, life is grey, boring, and disorganized. Dopamine deficient patients crave foods with the building blocks of dopamine that can add value to the medication they are taking. These include strawberries, raw almonds, dark chocolate, apples and bananas. Stimulant deficient depression involves a lack of norepinephrine and epinephrine and these patients say, “ I am sooo tired!” or “I can’t get out of bed and don’t want to go to work or to a party or anywhere! Or I am disorganized and can’t get anything finished because I can’t concentrate long enough to do so!” Medicine treats these problems with stimulants such as Modofinil and stimulants like Dexadrine, Ddderal, and other well- known stimulants. Combo medications that increase both serotonin and epinephrine levels include Effexor, Cymbalta, Pristiq. They take away the pain and offer energy and motivation.

Jordan Peterson - How to Solve addiction simply

03:19
Bible Series X: Abraham: Father of Nations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y6bCqT85Pc&t=641s Set your goals and stick to them! If you make your long term goals priority and always think about what it is your doing and whether or not it progresses you towards your goal you should be ok What is smartphone addiction? Smartphone addiction, sometimes colloquially known as “nomophobia” (fear of being without a mobile phone), is often fueled by an Internet overuse problem or Internet addiction disorder. After all, it’s rarely the phone or tablet itself that creates the compulsion, but rather the games, apps, and online worlds it connects us to. Smartphone addiction can encompass a variety of impulse-control problems, including: Virtual relationships. Addiction to social networking, dating apps, texting, and messaging can extend to the point where virtual, online friends become more important than real-life relationships. We’ve all seen the couples sitting together in a coffee shop or restaurant ignoring each other and engaging with their smartphones instead. While the Internet can be a great place to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, or even start romantic relationships, online relationships are not a healthy substitute for real life interactions. Online friends tend to exist in a bubble, not subject to the same demands or stresses as messy real-world relationships. Since few real-life relationships can compete with these neat, virtual relationships, you may find yourself spending more and more time with online friends, retreating from your real world family and friends. Compulsive use of dating apps can change your focus to short-term hookups instead of developing long-term relationships. Online compulsions, such as gaming, gambling, stock trading, online shopping, or bidding on auction sites like eBay can often lead to financial and job-related problems. While gambling addiction has been a well-documented problem for years, the availability of Internet gambling has made gambling far more accessible. Compulsive stock trading or online shopping can be just as financially and socially damaging. eBay addicts may wake up at strange hours in order to be online for the last remaining minutes of an auction. You may purchase things you don’t need and can’t afford just to experience the excitement of placing the winning bid. Information overload. Compulsive web surfing, watching videos, playing games, searching Google, or checking news feeds can lead to lower productivity at work or school and isolate you for hours at a time. All this compulsive use of the Internet and smartphone apps can cause you to neglect other aspects of your life, from real-world relationships to hobbies and social pursuits. Cybersex addiction General warning signs of smartphone addiction Trouble completing tasks at work or home. Do you find laundry piling up and little food in the house for dinner because you’ve been busy chatting online, texting, or playing video games? Perhaps you find yourself working late more often because you can’t complete your work on time. Isolation from family and friends. Is your social life suffering because of all the time you spend on your phone or other device? If you’re in a meeting or chatting with friends, do you lose track of what’s being said because you’re checking messages or updates on your phone? Have friends and family expressed concern about the amount of time you spend on your phone? Do you feel like no one in your “real” life—even your spouse—understands you like your online friends? Concealing your smartphone use. Do you sneak off to a quiet place to use your smartphone? Do you hide your smartphone use or lie to your boss and family about the amount of time you spend online? Do you get irritated or cranky if your online time is interrupted? Have a fear of missing out. Do you hate to feel out of the loop or think you’re missing out on important news or information if you don’t check you phone regularly? Do you need to compulsively check social media because you’re anxious that others are having a better time, making more money, or leading a more exciting life than you? Do you get up at night to check your phone? Feeling of dread, anxiety or panic if you leave your smartphone at home, the battery runs down or the operating system crashes. Or you feel a phantom vibration—you feel your phone vibrating but when you check, there are no new messages or updates.

Revia is prescribed to prevent drug or alcohol abuse

Revia is prescribed to prevent drug or alcohol abuse : http://drugs-buy-cheap.online/tablet-antialcohol Revia is prescribed to prevent drug or alcohol abuse The intake of alcohol, to persons under the age of 21, is absolutely not desirable. I would like to dwell a little on this prohibition. The main danger in drinking alcohol by children and adolescents (persons under 21 years of age) is the colossal pathological effect of alcohol on the brain of a young organism. Until the age of 21, the brain is actively developing, and its metabolic processes are finally formed, which at this age are not yet stable. Therefore, during this period the brain is especially vulnerable to various external influences, and especially chemical poisoning (alcohol, drugs and other psychoactive substances, toxins). Alcohol disrupts the unstable biological processes of the brain much easier, faster and more strongly. Easier difficult to heal and incurable neurological damage is formed. The consequences of these neurological diseases manifest themselves in the form of various mental disorders, more often it is personality disorders or other organic brain disorders, which seriously affects character formation, behavior and learning ability. Therefore, the consequences of alcohol use by people under the age of 21 are much more pronounced than for people at a more mature age. Taking medication is necessary in order not to aggravate the condition. Prescription drug abuse is a huge problem in the United States, and my addiction started off by taking my girlfriend's medications. We need to realize that most opioids and the opioids epidemic starts with these types of medications. Luckily, my addiction to prescription drugs like prescription painkillers didn't turn into a heroin drug addiction. A heroin problem is much harder to come back from. What we need to realize is doctors give us prescribed drugs that are just synthetic heroin. This is the "doctors heroin" that they get away with. I don't blame my drug abuse or depression from my addiction on anyone, but by talking about this, more people may find recovery from addiction from heroin and other drugs. We need to start discussing how addiction is a disease because there are far too many people saying addiction is not a disease. If you want to know what is addiction and what the addiction definition is, please watch this video in it's entirety so you can understand how I became addicted and also recovered. Alcoholism Pt. 3: Medication

03:07
Part 3 of 3 of Dr. Bud Holcomb's Series on Alcoholism Two medications area used to help alcohol use disorder. The first is Naltrexone. This blocks Opioid receptors and so reduces the pleasure people get when they drink. This is intended to cut back the amount people drink. Instead of ‘two have been good, so three must be better’. Pretty soon a thousands not enough. It comes in an affordable generic pill. It;s also available in a very expensive once a month shot called Vivitrol. In my experience, this medication is not that effective because for people with alcohol use disorder, alcohol is just too addicting. The other mediation that is used for alcoholism is Disulfiram. This is a medication that has been FDA since 1951 and I believe is very helpful and greatly underutilized. This is a medication that doesn’t do anything when you take it, unless you drink alcohol. Then it interrupts the breakdown of alcohol so it gets stuck k in the acetaldehyde or ‘paint thinner’ stage. Paint thinner is disgusting and makes people pretty sick. It’s been shown that this medication helps reduce impulses to drink because people know it just not an option. It is highly effective right away and people can stop it about a week in advance if they want to be able to drink on a special occasion. This medication is dirt cheap and can even be obtained without a prescription on the global market. To summarize: 1. Alcohol is very addictive and is a severe health problem worldwide. 8-10 drink equivalents per week is considered an acceptable health risk for women and 12-14 drink equivalents per week is not too unhealthy for men. We need social support and community to stop drinking, which is why Alcoholics Anonymous has been so wildly successful. AA meetings come in all sorts of flavors, so don’t make excuses. ‘One meeting will change your drinking forever’ Benzodiazepines like Lorazepam and Clonazepam are very helpful to treat dangerous alcohol withdrawal symptoms. Finally, please consider taking Disulfiram as a sure fire way to immediately get sober. I have seen hundreds of people get sober over my career. I have never seen anyone regret no longer being alcoholic. --- Managed by suporacarr.com

CALL: +44 330 777 1482 Irish patient came to Dr Vorobiev clinic in order to cure his heroin addiction. He found the clinic by researching online, after which patient decided it would be the best choice for him. He is very satisfied with the service he received in Dr Vorobiev clinic and says that it helped that he was picked up from the airport, which made the experience easier for him. Patient found the treatment itself very good and painless. Along detox treatment, he also opted for naltraxone implant, to stop him from using drugs in the future. He is happy he was able to have that procedure, because he found it hard to find the same opportunity in Ireland. Patient will return to the clinic in 3 months for a check-up.

Baclofen was approved for use in the treatment of alcoholism

02:00
Baclofen was approved for use in the treatment of alcoholism: http://drugs-buy-cheap.online/tablet-antialcohol Baclofen was approved for use in the treatment of alcoholism The intake of alcohol, to persons under the age of 21, is absolutely not desirable.
