There is no Actos recall but there is an Actos Lawsuit (a class action lawsuit) due to side effects or development of bladder cancer. Go to http://www.Actos-Lawsuitx.com to see if you qualify for compensation. Have you taken Actos? The US Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers that the popular Diabetes drug Actos may increase the risk of bladder cancer. Actos was supposed to be a safe diabetes drug but recent studies have linked Actos to a higher risk of bladder cancer. The FDA issued a warning in June 2011, five days after France and Germany pulled Actos from the market over similar concerns. The cancer warning will appear on the Actos label the FDA said. The warning label is based on the FDA's review of the data of an ongoing study. The study found that Actos increased bladder cancer risks in patients taking the drug for long periods at high dosage. Another study in the American Heart Association Journal, Circulation, found that patients taking Actos and Avandia increased risks of heart attacks, heart failure, or death by 4%. If you took Actos and suffered from bladder cancer or a heart attack you may be entitled to compensation. So act now and go to http://Actos-Lawsuitx.com to see if you qualify. Actos Diabetes Drug - Cancer Causing Side Effects | Saunders & Walker

01:28
Attorney Joe Saunders shares information about the diabetes medication Actos and how this drug can increase the risk of bladder cancer. The manufacturer of Actos, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, has known of the risks of bladder cancer from taking this diabetes medication for quite some time. In early clinical drug trials, laboratory animals were developing bladder cancer and Takeda Pharmaceuticals was made aware of these results. However, they chose to ignore those studies and instead decided to bring their drug to market without ever conducting any human clinical drug trials. Essentially, Takeda Pharmaceuticals used its customers as their guinea pigs to determine whether their diabetes medication would actually cause bladder cancer in humans. Sadly, Actos should have never been made available and put on the market. Takeda Pharmaceuticals put its own corporate greed and profits ahead of consumer safety. At Saunders & Walker P.A., we are filing Actos class action lawsuits against the manufacturer on behalf of consumers who developed bladder cancer after taking their diabetes medication. If you took Actos and have developed bladder cancer, please feel free to reach out to attorney Joe Saunders by calling (727) 579-4500 to schedule a free consultation or by visiting our website today to see whether we can file an Actos lawsuit for you at https://www.saunderslawyers.com/practice-areas/actos/

More Diabetes Drugs Found to Cause Cancer

05:36
The Journal of the National Cancer Institute in August published an article showing that both Avandia and Actos increase bladder cancer by more than 400% compared to baseline incidence in diabetics. These drugs account for more than 20% of all drugs used to treat type 2 diabetes. Actos ranks 9th in the sales of all pharmaceutical drugs. This is remarkable considering it also has an increased incidence of congestive heart failure. Avandia increases the risk of heart attack by more than 50% and is also associated with 50% more deaths from heart attacks! Germany and France have removed Actos and Avandia from the market. What is the US FDA waiting for? It looks like the FDA is doing just the opposite as it appears to approving it for over-the-counter sales when its patent runs out. Actos News Update: Judge Overturns $6.5 Million Award to Actos Lawsuit Plaintiff

01:12
Visit http://www.rotlaw.com/takeda-actos/ for more information on Actos and other dangerous drugs. Less than a week after a jury recommended a $6.5 million damages award to the plaintiff in the nation's first Actos trial, the judge in the Los Angeles Superior Court case disregarded the verdict and ruled for the manufacturer. Judge Kenneth Freeman issued his decision on May 1, after Takeda Pharmaceuticals persuaded him that plaintiff Jack Cooper had not provided legally sufficient evidence that use of the diabetes drug for four years had caused him bladder cancer. The Rottenstein Law Group encourages those looking to file Actos lawsuits not to be disheartened by the ruling, and notes that one disregarded verdict does not make a trend. There are currently about 3,000 Actos lawsuits pending across the nation. Are there any warnings for Actos? Learn about the Drug's Link to Bladder Cancer

01:06
Are there any warnings for Actos? The Food and Drug Administration issued a "Black Box" warning -- its strongest possible warning -- for the diabetes drug Actos in 2011. The FDA based its warning on a review of 5 years of data from a study conducted by the manufacturer, Takeda Pharmaceuticals. The FDA warned that Actos may increase the risk of bladder cancer and that caution should be taken when prescribing the drug to patients with a history of bladder cancer. Studies linking Actos with an increased risk of bladder cancer have led other countries to ban the drug altogether, including France and Germany. The FDA has said it will continue to review study data on Actos and will update the public accordingly.

Visit us online at ‪http://www.molllawgroup.com‬ For free consumer safety information, visit http://www.legalnewsnetwork.com/‬ Diabetes drug Actos may raise the risk of bladder cancer. Actos manufactured by Takeda (the largest drug maker in Japan) and marketed by US drug maker Eli Lilly, is one of the most popular diabetes drugs in the world. The FDA has issued a formal warning stating Actos may increase the risk of bladder cancer when used for more than a year. In a study involving more than 193,000 patients, those who took Actos for longer then 12 months were associated with a 40% increase for bladder cancer. In 2010, more than 2 million patients were taking these drugs. The American Cancer Society estimates approximately 75,000 new cases of bladder cancer and 16,000 deaths in 2014. There are over 5,500 Actos personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits pending in the United States. In a recent Actos trial, a jury awarded over $9 billion in damages to a single plaintiff. It was alleged that Takeda officials purposely destroyed potentially damaging documents related to Actos. In France, the agency for safety of health products recalled Actos from the market. Regulators in Germany recommended that physicians not prescribe it. However, in the United States Actos is still available. Our goal at Moll Law Group is to inform consumers of potentially dangerous products and provide assistance with the filing of claims. Recent Lawsuit Filed Against Maker of Diabetic Drug Byetta

01:24
Many lawsuits have been filed against the maker of a Type II Diabetes drug, Byetta. I'm Attorney JoAnn Spinks Coleman and I am here to speak with you regarding a recent lawsuit that has been filed. 23 year old Elizabeth Childress filed a lawsuit in May of this year against drug makers Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly in federal court. She alleges that the companies failed to adequately warn her about type 2 diabetes drug Byetta's connection to thyroid cancer. Elizabeth Childress was prescribed Byetta in January 2007 to treat her type 2 diabetes, and continued to take it through August of that year, according to court documents. In May 2011 she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and attributes it to her use of Byetta, a drug that has been linked to both thyroid cancer and pancreatic cancer in women. Childress alleges that the drug makers were aware of the risks but did not notify patients of them. Many healthcare professionals believe that while Byetta's daily injection may stabilize blood sugar levels, the chemical action of Byetta may actually leave patients defenseless against certain cancers. There has been a recent increase in lawsuits from patients who took Byetta and developed pancreatic cancer, thyroid cancer and pancreatitis. If you or someone you know has taken Byetta and are now suffering from any of these very serious medical conditions then you should seek legal advice immediately. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Metal on Metal Joint Replacement Surgery Complications - Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFGT3WD_Ndg -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
