How I Lost 15 Kg in 2 Months With a Simple Weight Loss Plan (No Diet!)
This is how i shed 15 kg in 2 months with a simple weight loss plan. I didn't follow any particular diet and i exercise moderately. In May 2015, I used to weigh 75 kg and my BMI was above 27. I was not obese, but surely overweight. My blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels were all on the higher side of the normal range. In addition, I used to have severe pain in my feet when I woke up from sleep. I concluded that if don’t reduce my weight soon, my problems may become severe. I decided to shed 15 kg to reach my ideal weight of 60 kg. I planned a daily routine and followed it strictly. This daily routine became a habit. I lost 15 kg in 2 months, and since then I was able to maintain my ideal weight. My plan was simple and easy to follow. I didn’t starve myself. I ate whatever I wanted. My daily routine consists of: I wake up in the morning daily at 5 A.M. Immediately after waking up I drink 1 litre water. I drink the water without brushing my teeth. I store the water in a glass jar and keep it near my bed. In the beginning it was difficult to drink, but slowly I got used to it. I take my breakfast at 6:30 A.M. I prefer south Indian breakfast such as idli, dosa or upma. I eat 70% of my daily carbs in the breakfast. I don’t follow any portion control, but I don’t eat up to my neck. I eat till I’m satisfied and don’t feel uncomfortable. I finish off my breakfast with 3 small sips of water. I reach my office at 7:00 A.M. At 7:30 A.M I drink a cup of hot black coffee without sugar. After that, every half an hour I drink a cup of warm water. At 10:30 A.M, if I feel hungry, I eat a small fruit. I prefer to eat apple, banana or pear. If I don’t feel hungry, I won’t eat anything. At 12:00 P.M, when everyone goes for lunch, I go for a speed walk. I installed Google Fit app on my Android phone. I speed walk till I achieve 25 heart points. It normally takes 20 - 30 minutes. I leave the office at 3:00 P.M and reach home by 3:30 P.M. At 4:00 P.M. I have my last meal of the day. I start the meal with a cup of salad made with a mix of vegetables and fruits. Vegetables include onion, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and tomatoes. Fruits include apple and oranges. I also add a few black pitted olives. I don’t add salt or spices to the salad. For meals, I eat two medium size chapatis along with curry. The curry can be either vegetables, eggs, chicken, mutton or fish. I don’t eat rice daily. I eat rice only on Sunday. Again, I don’t follow any portion size. I eat till I’m content. But I don’t overindulge myself. I eat consciously. After I take my last meal, I don’t eat anything till breakfast next morning. I drink green tea without sugar at 6:00 P.M. I drink water if I feel thirsty, otherwise I don’t. I go to bed at 10:00 P.M. Sunday is my cheat day. I follow the same daily routine on Sunday, but with a small change. I eat rice instead of chapatis, and I finish my meal with a dessert. I have been following this daily routine for the past 3 years and I’m very glad about the results. I’m happy that I lost 15 kg in 2 months and maintaining my ideal weight since then. I’m happy that I’m neither starving, nor preventing myself from eating my favourite foods.
