I have Dr. Douglas Graham to thank for this highly Delicious, Extremely Nutritious drink as I discovered the recipe (I adapted it slightly) while reading his wonderful health book, The 80/10/10 Diet! This drink is loaded with fiber which helps to absorb and remove toxins from the body as well as increasing the bio-accessibility of micro nutrients and antioxidants into the cells. Also, it is a fantastic source of "Living" Bio-Available water therefore truly hydrating the cells of the body. As a pre-biotic and alkalizing combination it feeds the healthy gut flora (probiotics) as well as neutralizing acids, thereby increasing the body's natural immune function. RAW SAVORY GREEN SOUP = Happy Cells, Happy Tissues, Vitality & Optimal Health
This is one of my favorite meals (Scott's too!) It is a very delicious and satiating way to infuse the body with an immense amount of nutrients without overtaxing the digestive system thereby freeing up the energy needed for the cells to perform their myriad of tasks, including building healthy blood, tissues and organs; repairing our incredible bodies as a whole and removing toxic build up as well as metabolic waste in a timely fashion. HAVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY GREEN SMOOTHIE, SAVORY SOUP DAY ;-) Recipe: 2 C filtered water 2 big handfuls of swiss chard (rainbow, white, red - it's ALL good!) 2 big handfuls of spinach 1/4 bunch of cilantro (coriander) 1/2 sm onion 1 lime, peel removed 1/4 jalapeño (more for a delightful, spicy kick ;-) ) kale stems (optional, I used them because I had them reserved from a kale salad I prepared earlier) 2 lg ribs of celery 1/2 in piece of fresh turmeric root (leave the skin on if organic) 1 lg vine ripened tomato, quartered 1/2 apple, cored zucchini seeds and pulp (optional, I had these reserved from making macaroni noodles - see my raw mac n cheeze video!) 2 tsp fresh thyme 1 Tbsp ground cumin (lends a delicious Tex-Mex flavor) 2 tsp kelp granules 1/2 - 1 tsp pink himalayan salt 1/2 avocado raw pumpkin seeds (pepitas) for garnish Method: Put water, chard, spinach & cilantro into a blender and whirl away until greens are liquified. Next add remaining ingredients except avocado & pumpkin seeds and blend until smooth. Add avocado and quickly blend until creamy (just a couple of seconds - don't over blend or the avocado will turn the soup frothy and mousse like). Adjust seasoning to taste. Lastly, pour into your favorite bowl or put in a mason jar to carry with you (best fast food ever!), top with pumpkin seeds and a quick sprinkling of fresh thyme ~ ENJOY xo

1 med - lg ripe avocado fresh juice of 2 oranges fresh juice of 1/2 lemon 1/2 cup of fresh dill (reserve @ 1TBSP to mix in after blending) 1 clove garlic 1 TBSP fresh jalapeño S&P TT (to taste) Place all ingredients into a blender (except for the avocado & 1 TBSP reserved dill) & blend until well incorporated. Add avocado & blend until creamy - about a minute. Stir in remaining dill and add dressing to your favorite salad or add to romaine leaves for yummy tacos ~ ENJOY! 4-6 ripe roma tomatoes, 1/2 bunch of cilantro, 1/2 small onion (peeled), 1 lime (preferred) or lemon, 4 stalks celery, 1 jalapeño (remove seeds if less spice is preferred). Bold and Beautiful Raw Vegan Marinara (oil free)
Growing up my mother always had a pot of marinara bubbling on the stove ready to be incorporated into and/or ladled over various Italian dishes - just thinking about it makes my mouth water! ;) When I discovered Raw Foods, I knew I had to find a way to replicate my favorite sauce, so here it is, my take on my Mother's Delicious Marinara Sauce ~ buon appetito! Ingredients: -4 ripe roma tomatoes, quartered -1/2 C sundried tomatoes, reconstituted in filtered water for at least 30 minutes -1/4 C fresh basil, chiffonade -1 garlic clove, remove germ -1/2-1 tsp chili flakes -1 tsp coconut crystals or 1 medjool date (pitted) -1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning Blend -1 lemon, juiced -1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt -1 tsp black pepper Method: follow instructions in video

I developed this soup back in April for Cleanse America's first initiative and since then it has become a household favorite - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! xoxo Love soup is a beautiful blending of a raw beet borscht topped with a cashew garlic/dill sour cream. Beets are low in calories, nutrient dense and loaded with antioxidants. They contain vitamins A,B & C, Folate, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium and oodles of iron! Additionally, Beets contain betaine which helps to lower homocysteine levels in the body (elevated homocysteine levels can lead to heart disease, stroke and/or arterial plaque). Incorporating Beets into your diet on a regular basis will bring a gorgeous luster to the skin, improve digestion, protect the body against free radical damage, cleanse the liver AND purify & build the blood. Show your Body some LOVE and enjoy My LOVE SOUP xoxo CASHEW GARLIC/DILL SOUR CREAM: 1 C cashews, soaked for 2-4 hours, rinsed and drained juice from 1/2 lemon 1/2 Tbsp unpasteurized chick pea miso (I like South River brand) 2 cloves fresh garlic 1/4 C fresh dill, finely minced (reserve) 1 C filtered water 2 tsp ACV (raw apple cider vinegar - BRAGGS is a good brand) pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt Put all ingredients (except for the dill) into a high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Fold in the dill (reserve a little bit for garnish), pour into a bowl and set aside for flavors to develop while making the Beet Borscht. BEET BORSCHT: 2 medium/large size beets, peeled and quartered (reserve half of one beet and finely dice for garnish) 2 medium carrots, chopped 1 large roma tomato, quartered 1 apple, cored, peeled and quartered juice from 1/2 lemon 1 large shallot, quartered 1/2 - 1 jalapeño, quartered (remove seeds and membrane to reduce heat) 1 C filtered water 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt Put all ingredients (except finely diced beets for garnish) into a high speed blender and blend until very smooth, adding in more water if a thinner soup is preferred. FAST FOOD - Green Smoothies :)
Green smoothies are a wonderful way to infuse the body with beautiful nutrients. The fruit adds a lovely sweetness, provides clean burning fuel for the body's cells, and cleanses and detoxifies the lymphatic system. The greens are the blood and tissue builders - Greens and Fruit = WIN WIN :) Ingredients: 3 C filtered water or coconut water 1 lg handful fresh spinach 1 sm handful fresh arugula (rocket) 1 sm handful fresh cilantro (coriander) 1 hand of ripe bananas (approx. 5 but you can use more or less - your choice) 1 apple, cored & quartered 4 medjool dates, pitted Method: Blend all ingredients EXCEPT bananas until liquified. Next, add bananas and quickly blend or pulse blend until well incorporated - don't over blend bananas as they can take on a metallic taste (not very appetizing) Be creative and try different variations - rotate the greens using swiss chard, kale, collard greens, romaine lettuce leaves or bok choy etc. in place of spinach. Substitute pears for apples, mangoes for bananas, dried figs for dates - Most Importantly ~ ENJOY xo

Raw Pesto Veggie Wraps ~ Vegan, of course :)
Pesto is such a flavorful and versatile sauce. It can be used as a condiment, spread or shine as the flavor component to a main dish such as a pesto linguine. You can make up a batch ahead of time, freeze in ice cube trays - pop into a tightly sealed container, refreeze then take out individual servings as needed. Enjoy! Pesto Ingredients: 2 handfuls fresh spinach (approx. 3-4 C, tightly packed) 1 handful of fresh basil (approx. 1 C, tightly packed) 1/2 C raw pepitas (pumpkin seeds) 1/4 C raw pine nuts 2-3 cloves garlic, remove the germ for greater digestibility and to remove any bitterness 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast (this is the "cheese" component and adds B vitamins, including B12) 1-2 tsp unfiltered olive oil juice of 1 lemon 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt 1 tsp black pepper water as needed Method: follow instructions in video :) Veggies for the wraps: cabbage and or butter leaf lettuce red bell pepper, sliced spring onion, sliced grape tomatoes, sliced avocado, sliced onion sprouts kalamata olives, sliced arugula aka rocket

4 - 6 Zucchini, cut into macaroni shaped noodles - put into glass bowl, lightly salt & set aside CHEEZE 1 C brazil nuts (soaked overnight, rinsed & drained) 1/4 C pine nuts (soaked overnight, rinsed & drained) 1 red bell pepper, chopped 1/4 - 1/2 jalapeno pepper 1 Tbsp stone ground, unfiltered olive oil such as Bariani brand juice of 1 lemon 1 tsp onion powder 1 med. garlic clove 1/4 C nutritional yeast 1/2 tsp probiotics (I like bluebonnet brand) 1/2 in piece of fresh turmeric root (keep skin on if organic) or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp spicy mustard pink himalayan salt and blk pepper to taste Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste. Pour over zucchini noodles and mix well; eat straight away or dehydrate @110* for 1 hour (optional) - I find dehydrating this dish warms and infuses the noodles with more flavor all the while keeping the enzymes & nutrients intact. After plating, top with fresh sprouts ~ ENJOY! xo
